we live 235 meters from exchange and have been told 2meg is the most we can have ..hummm..
sorry to the chap that just called us , but i dont believe your words .
the intermittent connection problem seams to have been solved after a long visit from the open reach engineer last Friday . Thank you to that chap ! .
i understand that it can take several days to allow our broadband connection to settle , as stated by the best engineer to date of last friday .
he explained what he had found and corrected the problem wonderfull
when you pay top price for unlimited service you expect to get the service you want , not to be told you will be caped at just over 2meg .
upon checking the approx speed available via the BT line speed checker i think the chap that just told me what we can have needs to check the facts first before calling .
our line can take over 10+ meg as we have had in the past before we had this stability problem now that problem has been solved why do we have to put up with only 2meg ?? .
i bet if we only payed an eigth of our monthly bill you i.e BT would be very quick to approach the matter .
so please someone explain why .

A couple of months ago, I lost all of my music/itunes etc as my computer needed a complete restore. When it re-installed itunes there was no songs on it at all and would only let me transfer the purchases made on my iphone from itunes back onto my library. The problem I have is that I want to upgrade my phone to the iphone4 but dont want to lose all of the songs on my iphone, some are downloaded from the itunes, most are from CD's that I still own but there are some great songs that I have put on from borrowed CD's or another download company i.e. hmv music downloads and those are the songs it will not let me transfer into the library on my computer so when I get the new phone, I could just sync and they will all be there.
Please help as I do not want to lose any of my songs

connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.

How do I delete a movie (not bought from iTunes) and have it actually deleted from the library as well, I keep deleting stuff from iTunes to try and free up some space only to find the file still in the library?
It depends upon what preferences settings you use. Most people use default settings so when you delete an item it asks you if you want to get rid of the file too.
If iTunes absolutely refuses to get rid of the file (I have never heard of this by the way) you can always go to the media folder or wherever the file is located and drag it to the trash yourself. -
My wife and I have separate iTunes accounts. I purchased music from iTunes and have it my music folder on my iPad. I wish to use this music on our PC (windows) where the iTunes account is my wife's. How/can I do this? Thanks Guy

Help! When I try to purchase a song from iTunes and have agreed to the terms and conditions, it then tells me that my session has timed out... but I've only been trying for a few minutes. I can't buy songs if it keeps doing this! Does anyone know why it's doing this and how to fix it? Thanks!
Hi mterry1723, one solution that might be worth trying is this:
- Close iTunes, if it's open
- Open Safari and got to 'Preferences'
- Select 'Security' on the top
- Untick all the security options in the menu
- Click the 'Show Cookies' button and look for all the 'apple' entries in the left-hand column.
- Highlight them (select them collectively) and press 'Remove'
- Now open iTunes and buy the song as usual.
- You may be asked to do the same security process as before, so do as asked.
- Hopefully, the security check will now have accepted your answers and start downloading the song as normal.
Remember to re-tick all the required security options you had just un-ticked in Safari preferences. You don't need to bother about opening the cookies again.
I hope this has worked for you and my profoundest apologies if it has not. Worth a go, though!

My notes from my iphone4 have been deleted. Heres the problem, the reason it is deleted is because i accidentally deleted my gmail messages. i guess my notes were there to. the notes are not in icloud and not in gmai. is there any way i can get them back?

i have ordered 3 albums from the itunes to my iphone and only 3-5 song from each album have been allowed to be downloaded to my phone yet i have still had to pay for the full album what do i do to get the other songs as im not happy to pay twice

Sorry, but the warranty for the phone is only valid in the country where you bought the device, and you can't send it in, Apple does not ship internationally.
Has the phone been officially unlocked? Only the carrier can unlock an iPhone.

Some (Windows) laptops have easy access to memory and disk slots that do not necessitate taking the complete back cover off. However, Apple does not make life easy for you.

To transfer the license from one pc to another the step you have to follow is to 'Deactivate' the license first from the older machine.
To accomplish this you need to Launch Acrobat, go to the 'Help' menu and select 'Deactivate'
On the new machine you can install Acrobat and then use the serial number to 'Activate' the software and this will complete the license transfer.

when you double click the circle buttom, and the little bar pops up from what you have been using... is it using data while being in there? is it a good idea to minimize evertthing out of there often so its not using more data ? or does it not matter?
thanks!Not sure if it uses data, but that allows you to multitask. To save battery life you should close out of all the apps.

It means that iTunes looked for something on the iTunes Store servers and either it wasn't there(404) or the iTunes Store servers denied access to it(403). These can't be resolved at your end.
