You can export a report with saved data and then change the filtering without hitting the DB again. If you are asking if using a flat file as the data source there are multiple ways to do this. Define an ODBC data source to the file and specify the sturcture, or using ADO.NET and a record set, or using XML as the data source. Lots of ways in newer versions of CR. 8.5 was limited so the ODBC example is your best option.
Or if you are asking how to get the data from the report you can use REadRecords. Not sure if 8.5 has this functionality though. It's way past it's end of life so I can't look.

Not supported, 8.5 has no .net assemblies and no RDC, only option would be to use RAS to make changes or reading records so you need to upgrade.

i´ve debug RM06BF00 program, it select all data but it display data using this perform:

I didnt get ur question clearly by 'Transfer to GL' Field..
Talk to the users or functional people and find out Apps Screens on which the reports are based on, for e.g, if you need to create a report on all journals posted during the day, ask the user which is the screen he uses to view the Journals. Once you know that, go to Help->Diagnotics->a screen will appear asking for password('Enable Diagnotics Screen', contact Admin if u dont know password)

Add fields to reporting table/structure CCSS

My customer has defined some new fields (Z......) for WBS reporting in table PRPS. They would like to use these fields in report painter reports, but we have not managed to make them available in the library used (6P3). In order to make that happen they must show in the reporting table/structure used (CCSS) I guess? According to SAP there's no "easy way" of doing this, but obviously it should be possible.
Can somebody give ma an idea how this can be done?

Eventually we manage to get the customer defined field to show up as a characteristic in the relevant library. The reason we struggled with this was the defined length of the field. SAP does not accept a characteristic with a defined field length of more than 24 characters (we had 30). We ended up redefining the length of the field directly in include CI_CC1Z.

Add field group to Asset Master Data Screen Layout

Hi Gurus !!
Does anybody know how to add field group in SPRO(Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data)?. I have created my layout by coping 1000, but then I need to add Fund Center in Time-Dependent data logical field group.

I don't think you can add a funds center to the Time dependent tab.
Instead you need to use Derivatuon strategy. Use tcode FMDERIVE for strategy and FMDERIVER for GL accounts to cost center and cost centers to asset numbers or number range. From here the system derives teh funds center.

1) Add fields to Details(for Position/OrgUnit/Employee) window in OrgChart
 We have a few requirements to display additional data in Details window.

3) Security Setting
 Regarding to the question above, how can we create the security roles (in Nakisa) for therequiremets listed below?
The security setting in SAP allows managers only can see employee's data, who belongs to the managers organization.
The security setting in Nakisa OrgChart allows every employee can see all organizations and other related objects.

You need to configure the integration schema to "extract" these fields in order for them to be available to OrgChart. I believe the file is called downloadSchema.xml and is found in your build folder. It is not the one in the SAPExtractor folder (that is for Staged). 
2) Display future dated Organizational Structure in OrgChart 
We also have requirement to display future dated OrganizationalStructure. 
The future dated Organizational Structure should ONLY availablefor people from HR and executives. 
How can we do this? 
 
This is not possible as OrgChart only displays one version of the OrgChart (the present dated structure).
 
3) Security Setting

Your bottom requirement is standard - unless you secure an item then every employee will be able to see all data.
 
In order to configure manager security you will need to undertake some XML configuration. This is not advisable unless you have experience of configuring the XML files, particularly with security as it is highly complex configuration. There are a couple of consultancies with specialist skills (Emeritis, ROC, Nakisa) that have the expertise to perform this type of configuration.
 
In order to do this you need to configure an authentication source and populate the user population and rolemapping sections of the LoginConfiguration_<type>.xml in the Authentication folder of your build. <type> refers to the type of authentication you are using (SAP logon forms, Portal integration with Logon Tickets etc). You will then need to map the roles in RoleMapping.xml in the Security folder of your build and then configure each role in Roles.xml. You need to create a hierarchyscope for each dataelement you are restricting data for and then add the security keyword to the sections in AppResources.xml that you are restricting with this particular scope.

Hi Merim,
As KAMESH mention,
you can add additional fields in your infoset and put the logic for that field in your infoset program and assign the same field in your existing group within infoset.
once you assign the infoset and generate the infoset then your field will be reflected in sap Query .
you can add additional field in your output.

Also it seems the email / job only kicks off when I do a test. When do workflows kick off? Are they placed in SM36 /SM37 for looking at when they run. When I created the workflow I dont remember it asking me when it should run, is it a batch job that always is running?

Add Fields in S_ALR_87013570

Hi All,
I want to add fields in ALV in transaction S_ALR_87013570.
The way i find is to copy the program but it seems very complicated because of 2 things:
First one, there are a lot of programs to copy and if a update comes, the copy will not be updated...
Second one, the program seems to be "mandant (system)" dependent...
Sorry, i've checked now and the program is not System dependent... There was an "If sy-mandt <> XXX".
I copy the first part and when i activate it, if i try tu use it in my "test mandant", an error appears and say "Program could only be used in mandant (system) XXX".
Could somme one tell me how to use this program in other mandant (system) (i try to transfer it with scc1 but don't work)?
And is there any other way to add fields in report S_ALR_87013570?

I follow this good topic, but I have two questions :
- I created me own Z* from standard 6PP2-001 and I would like add just one column but I can't ... only new section or horizontale page are available. Can you explain, a little more, the differentes steps to create column ?
- In a second time, I'm looking for fill this new column with my own selection. User Exit with structure append on CCSS, I think is the good solution but ... I don't find place for abap customer ... any ideas ?

GENERAL TRIP DATA /TRIP TOTALS (S_AHR_61016401)

Hi all,
I need your assistance on this.
There is a user that is not able to execute report GENERAL TRIP DATA /TRIP TOTALS (S_AHR_61016401) to look for others personal numbers.
She needs to use this report because she is responsible for car fleet to monitor mileage.
Her employee number 29500569 come by default and it cannot be deleted . do you know how can unblock this field?

Please clarify your requirement. As I understand, this staff member's personnel number automatically populates in the said report criteria.
1. Need to know SAP version ?
2. Whether or not this designated staff member running the report or someone else running ?
3. What is the profile given to this designated staff member.
4. Whether or not you require this designated staff member to run the report for few/all company codes ?

According to your description, you want to create a report with survey data and display the summary.
Reporting Services is used for rendering the report with data retrieved from datasource. In Reporting Services, we can retrieve data from the datasource then design a report, after the report processed, data is fixed on the report. So it’s not supported
to have the end users selection and do summary. For your requirement, it’s can’t be achieved currently.

Need to add custom fields in Report RM06EN00 ( Tcode ME2N ) in the Output

Hi,
MY requirement is i need to add 10 custom fields in the standard program RM06EN00 whos tcode is ME2N.
i have appended the fields in the EKKO table and they r now available in the dynamic selection screen of the report RM06EN00.
But i need to display this fields in the output and these fields should also be available in the change layout of the ALV report which is displayed when u click on the change button after pointing the cursor on the PO number.
I am looking out for any enhacement though which this requirement can be met. however my second option is to copy the standard report to a z program and modify it. but i think it will not going to be east and it may take a lot of time..
Need both advice and answers for this soon.

If you have want to add fields in Field catalog from se11 Add fields in this structure MEREP_OUTTAB_PURCHDOC using append structure and activate and execute ME2N with BEST_ALV IN SCOPE LIST U WILL find in change layout.
