I just LOVE how us as Americans buy the same phones year after year, just with slight upgrades. We are the only country using an outdated system known as "app store". Our country wants to make more and more money by keeping our phones outdated. AND WE'RE ALL STUPID ENOUGH TO KEEP BUYING THIER OLD CRAP!!!! I would like for all of you to do some research, I would like it if you all looked up how Japan keeps making their new phones with technology that is 30 years more advanced than ours. And they don't even have "app store" anymore because its so outdated. I'm sharing knowledge that Verizon and all the other phone companies don't want us to know, and if this post gets deleted, than its true.

Okay I'm stock on a 2003 server that has v2 of powershell, and we are working on replacing but that's ,,,the future.
My problem is this;
I just want to append a time stamp to each new entry in a csv file my script creates, like this
"0, 01:00:00"
I get the "0" before the ',' but nothing after.
My results are less than optimal and I am hogtied to powershell v2 so any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean by append. A CSV is a file of comma separted values and a header. YOu are trying to add a tab delimited filed with no header. That won't work.
To load a CSV wew would do this:
$csv=Import-Csv $log
If you want to add and update a field we would do this:
$csv=Import-Csv $log -header h1,h2,h3...new
Where h1..hn are the existing columns and "new" is a new column name. Now you can enumerate and assign the timestamp.
$ts=Get-Date -Display time
$csv | %{$_.New = $ts}
$csv | Export-Csv Outfile.csv -notype

I am still in the stone age and using CS4. Looking to upgrade to creative cloud. Will I have any issues and what can I do to keep the files I have created in CS4 active with the new software?

I want to continue to use my CS4 created projects while upgrading the Creative Cloud. I have an Imac, Ipad, Iphone 6 and Macbook Pro. Am I going to lose or not be able to bring those .ai files from CS4 into the new software?@

Back to the stone age with 6300

Used to have a 6020 until it was stolen last week (what idiot wanted a 2+ year old basic phone that was switched off 15 minutes after beng stolen?). Worked beautifully in Bury system 8 base unit and cradle: auto switch on, auto unlock, self recorded voice tags etc etc etc. a real handsfree car phone.
Replaced it with a 6300 in a standard Bury system 8 6300 cradle (non BT). What a disappointment: no auto switch on, no auto unlock, cra??y generated voice tags that are useless, no handsfree profile. Instead it comes up as a headset profile.
Bury says that Nokia hasn't bothered doing handsfree profiles for their latest phones. If I'm going to be forced to redo the car harness again, Nokia can say goodbye to 15 years of loyalty. (As can Orange - they charged me an upgrade price for the 6300 and told me it was a direct replacement for the 6020!!)

You have to be in a country to use its store - you will need to be in the US and have a US billing address on your account to be able to use the US store (that applies to buying and redownloading).
You can use iTunes Match in South Africa, do you not have a backup copy of all of your US iTunes purchases so that you can subscribe to it and upload those that aren't in the South African store to it ?

try changing your appleID to whatever you were using when you were acessing the UK store. Then try to re-download the purchased music. I am not sure if re-downloading music works from the UK store, however. It might be US only. If this is the case, you will need to contact iTunes support.

Try going into iTunes on your computer. Sign in with your AppleID and go to account. Under the Apple ID summary the Country/Region is listed. Change the country and sync your device.

I cannot agree more with your comments! What a way to frustrate your customers!
I have been having an issue with iCloud on Mac where it kept asking me for my password and sometimes would, sometimes would not continue to access my iCloud mail. Today it just refused to connect to iCloud mail.
I looked in the Mail, Contacts and Calendars in my MacBook Pro settings and discovered that 2 iCloud accounts were present. One with my original Apple ID (a gmail address) and a second with my new iCloud email ( an @me.com address). Having deleted the second account, using the new @me.com address everything is working fine.
So from my viewpoint when I moved over to iCloud I was asked to sign in with my Apple ID (the gmail address) then to create an @me.com address. However, as far as I can see all sign ins to the new @me.com account on Macbook, iPhone and iPad need to be done through the old Apple ID (the gmail address). Is that confusing and just plain crazy???
Further, after creating the new @me.com address I soon found out that this is apparently now forever bound to my old Apple ID and cannot be changed. I mean why can't I delete the iCloud account and start anew with a different @me.com address??? Also, as everybody using iCloud must create an @me.com address why on earth can I not get rid of my old gmail address and have my entire Apple ID accessed through the new @me.com address? Creating a whole new Apple ID will not solve this as we are unable to transfer purchases between accounts.
Apple products are great IMHO, but they do seem to not think things through in a very big way sometimes......

How can we stop jre 7 from blowing us all out of the water?

I would like to put forth a issue that greatly concerns me which is java 7. In recent times, some browsers have summarily decided that
they only allow calls to "current" versions of java. So in Mozilla's mindset, the only current version of java now is 6. It is questionable how
feasible it is for someone to manage to get firefox to call an "older" plugin like 1.5, 1.4 or 1.3. Sounds like it requires a lot of manual
configuration on each user's pc. Mozilla has put out conflicting advice on this topic.

So my big concern is that when java 7 is released, Mozilla and other browser vendors can then decide 7 is the current version and make
it nearly impossible to call java 6. Which would be terrible. Oracle would take a fine amount of time to certify 7 and only certify it on the

J2SE 5.0 reached its End of Service Life (EOSL) on November 3, 2009, which is the date of the final publicly available update of version 5.0 (J2SE 5.0 Update 22). So not only Mozilla thinks that Java 6 is the only version, even the vendor of java (oracle) thinks that.
Why is it so that everybody thinks that software from the previous millennium (like JInit) of course has to work with software of this millennium (like firefox 3.6)?!? JRE 1.5 is desupported for nearly 2 Years now....and don't get me started on JInitiator which basically was released 11 years ago, but surely you will find someone who has a company standard of IE8 and JInit (and mutters why this does not work anymore). Now there comes the argument that they don't want to upgrade their forms servers or what ever else because they are afraid that the newer version does not work anymore, but surely they are update happy with their browsers, aren't they? So why just move foreward with parts of the configuration?
If you look here you may notice that JRE 1.6 will reach EOL in 2012 (2013 with Java for Business) which is about the same time when Forms 10g will reach EOL, so you not only won't get new certifications with forms 10g, you also won't get new Security Patches etc. for forms 10g. This is a perfect reason why to move on to a newer version in both cases.
I am working for a software vendor myself, and I perfectly understand why software vendors throw away compabilities and start desupporting software after a certain amount of time. If we didn't I still would have to develop my PL/SQL code so it operates flawlessly on Oracle 7 as there were surely customers out there which insisted that this version of the database runs so stable in their site, and they don't need to update as the old database software runs well. And not only that, but the point in time when it takes you longer to actually find the affected versions and patch the fix of a critical bug in all those versions takes longer than finding the bug itself (been there, done that) it is time to throw some old versions out of the window, desupport them and clean the trunk code.
Bottom line is: if you want to keep one part of your software Jurassic you better keep the whole configuration at the same age. Old software is never meant to run against software from 10 years in the future, and in the opposite it is quite an impossible task to write an infinite backward compatible software.

Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
You can force Firefox to create a new default profile if you remove the profiles.ini file.

AR - How to Combine the AR Aging Reports of 2 companies in one SQL?

I just completed a query which mimics the Official Aged Analysis of Debtors in SAP B1 8.8, and it works well.
Now I want to combine 2 companies in a single Query. Is this possible, and how can this be done?
Why do I need this?
I work for 2 related companies dealing with different product lines and each company maintains SAP B1 separately.
The 2 companies have the same clients, and send their own separate invoices. But our clients do not recognize this internal division: They make a single order for their purchases and settle their debts by a single remittance.
It would be useful to have an Aging which groups the results of both companies.
I know the names of the 2 databases, say Comp1 and Comp2.
I tried this clause: USE Comp1   GO, but query gives error message "Incorrect syntax near GO"
My idea is group the 2 databases in a single query and use UNION ALL, for example:

USE Comp2

SELECT ... etc..
Is this the correct way to proceed? If not, could you tell me what is the best way to develop the query?
