We recently changed routers, and I cannot make the mp620 printer/scanner respond to my Mac anymore.

I am not sure how to make my printer come back to life after a change in router.  Please help.

if you installed a new router you need to connect the printer wirelessly to the router again.

    Not sure what you mean by "see" the USB printer.
    If you simply plugged the printer in to the Time Capsule, it will not be "seen" by anything.
    You won't "see" the printer until you use System Preferences > Print & Scan on both of your Macs to "Add" the printer. Did you do this for both Macs?

    I have a Mac Mini and and LCD TV which is connected via HDMI cable. I was playing around with the resolution settings (not very smart in hindsight) and managed to select a resolution that my TV does not support. I do not have another monitor or Macbook. Is there anything I can do to reset the resolution settings? I tried to reset the PRAM, but that didnt seem to solve the problem. I also tried starting in Safe mode but that didnt do the trick either.

    Arie, it may be possible to get to System Preferences via the keyboard. But you have to be sure the Finder is the foreground application. Is your Mac set to boot straight into your account or does it pause waiting for a password? If it boots straight into a user account, you can try the following procedure:
    \- Restart the Mac (It should be hooked up to the misbehaving display in case that's not clear)
    \- When it is done booting, type Cmd-Tab and then Cmd-Q. Do this several times. (Cmd-tab will step the Mac through all the programs that might be running. Cmd-Q quits them. Doing this several times ensures that only the Finder is running since the Finder can't be quit. This is important for the next step)
    \- Type Shift-Cmd-a (This should open the Applications folder)
    \- Type "sys" quickly (System Preferences within the Applications folder should now be highlighted)
    \- Type Cmd-o (This should open System Preferences)
    \- Type out the word "screen settings" completely (This should cause Displays to be highlighted in the System Preferences main panel)
    \- Hit the Return key (This should open Display Preferences)
    \- Hit the Return key again (This will clear any alert box that may have popped up)
    \- Hit the Tab key once (This will shift the keyboard focus to the resolutions list)
    \- Now start using the up (or down) arrow on the keyboard one press at a time. Each press of the arrow key moves to the next resolution in the list. Wait at least five seconds between arrow key presses for the resolution change to take effect. Hopefully, at some point, the monitor will light up with a stable image and you are back in business.

    Are you using any DPI related settings in Windows to increases the font size?

    Connect your device to iTunes and in the the window were all the apps are greyed out make sure the 'Sync Apps' checkbox (top left corner) is selected.

  • My company recently loaded foxfire and I cannot have two applications open in foxfire, the second page overlays the first and I cannot go back to the previous page or reduce the first page to view the first.

    My pages in Foxfore are overlaying one another which is normal but you cannot get back to the previous page. An example is if I have a page opened in a program and open something totally different it replaces the first page and I cannot reduce the size to see the first page I was viewing nor go back to it. I did open a page with audio and opened another application in foxfire and the replacing went on as usual but the audio continued to play so the page is stinn there. Also the tool bar page showing icon is replaced with the newly opened page not an additional page opened being shown as a tab. It's like the newest page or site I open in Foxfire replaces the one that is currently opened.

    It may be your router settings, but as you were having some issues prior to changing your router, it may well be interference, start by trying a different wifi channel.

    And, when I scroll down the photos, the photo shows, then it changes to another one.

    The message means just what it says.
    You need to keep approx 10% of your HD space free so that the OS can use it for temporary files and virtual memory. Once you drop below this, things begin to go wrong. For instance
    the photo shows, then it changes to another one.
    is evidence of iPhoto having trouble accessing its' cache. A symptom of insufficient free space on your HD. This, in turn, may lead to corruption of your database.
    This will cause problems with all apps, not just iPhoto. They'll begin to crash randomly, be unable to save etc.
    So start making space on your HD.

    If you don't have access to the old computer any longer, '''no'''. Unless you were using something like the Google Toolbar & Google Bookmarks or Xmarks, which would have your bookmarks in an online account that you could access. Firefox doesn't include an online storage feature for personal data, yet. That is coming in a future version.
    If you have a friend at your old job maybe they have access to that old PC and they could export your bookmarks to a file and email that file to you.
