WE19 Standard Inbound   Port for Recipient

Here is what i am trying to do
I am trying to test an idoc mbgmcr02 as a standard inbound in WE19
I created the idoc with WE19 using standard outbound processing and use as a receiver port one which i made called INTERNAL  which actually points to a directory / file on the system.
Now i am trying to use it as outbound   I change my Sender Port to INTERNAL(directory/file)  but what do i put in the Recipient Port. My system is SAPS1.  Do I need to  create this???

hi,
you can always put SAP<SID> in both ports in WE19
where SID is your three letter system ID
it's an existing (but not mentioned in WE21 port)

In the same way many other standard function modules like - IDOC_INPUT_ACLPAY, IDOC_INPUT_FIDCCH, IDOC_INPUT_ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT and few more are not released.

    Hi,
IDOC_INPUT_FIDCC2 for FIDCCP02 works for us in ECC6.0
If you want Automatic tax calculation functionality using FIDCCP02.. then FIDCC2 is not correct message type for you. In that case you should probably go for :
    Msg: INVOIC
    Basic type: INVOIC02
    FM: IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_FI
    Process code: INVF

  • JRE ignores proxy setting for connections to non-standard web ports

    Hi,
I've noticed that JRE would not use the proxy settings if the application tries to connect to a web address on a non standard http port. If port 80, 443, 8080 etc is used, the proxy is used but if it's something like 32938 it's not. Is there anyway to disable this behaviour and just have the proxy used for all HTTP traffic, regardless of destination port. Below a trace snippet that shows the behaviour.

Using a standard midi file, how do I get this to an output port for playing it on an extern midi-keyboard?

    Hi
Create 1 or more External Instrument tracks as required.
You could send the MIDIFile to a track set to "All" MIDI channels, or if needed, you could split the file by channel and create indivisual tracks for each.

  • Sequential message import for MDM inbound ports

    Hello,
    The scenario is as follows:
PI receives a complex message and split into two simple messages.
These two messages will be sent to two ports of the same repository and insert data into two main tables.
Since there is a lookup main field, one message must be processed by MDIS before the other one.
Would you please suggest an easy way to control this sequential import requirement?
    Best regards,
    Dale

    Hi Dale,
This scenario can be achieved in PI as we can not schedule the inbound ports in MDM (Polling interval is a global attribute in MDIS.INI).
As you are using PI you will be creating two Different Communication Channels for achieving the split and posting it to MDM ports. you can leverage the Functionality  " Availablity Time Planning " in Run Time Work bench->Component Monitoring -> Communication Channel Monitoring, where you can schedule(ON/OFF) your communication channels on a specific time periods using the Availability Time as ON TIME from the drop down.
Please find some blogs and links for your reference.

  • Using a different port for SMTP

Where can I change my preference of port number for SMTP? I would like to use 366 since I think my ISP is blocking port 25.

Your ISP blocks inbound and/or outbound 25?
Port 25 is used for server-server communication and can't be changed.
If your ISP blocks port 25 inbound, then your server can't receive mail from other servers, even if you change it's port.
If your ISP blocks 25 outbound, you still need to send to a destination port 25. For outbound, the only thing you can do is relay through your ISP (either from client, or configure postfix to relay through ISP).
When people add alternate ports for SMTP, it's for the mail client to submit mail to the server. From there, server-server is always going to have a dest port of 25.
If you wish to add an alternate port (you said you wanted 366) for mail submission, edit /etc/postfix/master.cf
    Find this line:
    smtp inet n - n - - smtpd
add another below it (location doesn't really matter) like this:
    366 inet n - n - - smtpd
Then stop/start mail server and port 366 will accept smtp connections.
FYI- the standard port for smtp submission is 587. Doesn't matter if you want to use another port (366), just make sure you're not trampling on another service which may use that port.

  • Inbound Delivery For Scheduling Agreement Lines using LSMW

    Hi,
We need to create inbound deliveries for scheduling agreements. Our scheduling Agreements are too big with 200 lines. But the vendor used to send only few discrete lines in his ASN. Is it possible to create inbound deliveries for the Scheduling agreement using LSMW? Is there any standard BAPI or IDOC available to handle this in LSMW? Has anyone done this before?
    Our requirement is as follows.
    1. Create Inbound Delivery for few lines of the Scheduling Agreement
    2. The delivery quantity of the inbound delivery will be a partial quantity of the Scheduling Agreement
    3. Materials are batch managed and the batch number for each inbound delivery item need to be captured.
    4. Vendor's ASN Number and its item number need to be captured at inbound delivery header and item level respectively.
Note: Delivery Schedule of the Scheduling Agreement is not used in the above scenario.
If you have any input, it will be really appreciated.
    Regards,
    SP0526

    Hi,
You can give your scheduling agreement number in the field Purchase Order.
If you want select from the list, you can click on PO tree (just under create inbound delivery). There selet document category as "L". You will get the scheduling agreement list.

  • Can there be more than one port for the same logical system

Can we have more than one TRFC port for tranferring data from one logical system to another?
The requirement is to transfer same basic idoc type from one logical system to another through two different ports. Is it possible?
For eg. some specific data (country specific) for the same basic idoc type can be sent through a separate port and the other data through a different port inorder to distinguish between the two.

    Hi Shital,
I don't think so. Because of that what i told you. There would be a dirty trick (back routing) to solve your issue. But its quite difficult and not standard. You create two http receiver services  and two http sender services. You route your message depending on payload to the one or the other http receiver channel. The receiver is in both cases: THE XI! Now you have a second message, which you  can route to IDoc adapter. But in this case you have different sender and in the receiver determination you can put the sender, so you will be able to use different communication channnels and so different ports / destinations.
Advantage: Your task would run, no performance problem (http: very good, asynchron)
Handicap: You see every message double in the monitoring, the scenario is not easy to understand and it is a big task 4 other people to change it.

  • How do I create Labview VISA ports for *individual* GPIB instruments using Prologix USB GPIB controller?

    Hello,
I'm trying to use a Prologix USB GPIB controller to control GPIB
instruments, and I would like to have a virtual serial (VISA) port for
*each instrument*, as is the case with a normal GPIB controller with a
standard NI driver. However this is not what the Prologix driver
provides -- it provides a single VISA virtual serial port for the
entire controller. To address the instrument with GPIB address 11,
you first send "++addr 11" to the serial port, and then you're talking
to instrument 11. However, this means I have to change all old
    Labview programs.
Is it possible to create a "wrapper" function of some kind that will
define a virtual serial (VISA) port for each *instrument* on the
controller? For example, to talk to GPIB instrument 11, call it
ASRL3::11::INSTR, each time it is written to it would have to write to
the virtual serial port of the controller, say ASRL3::INSTR, first "+
+addr 11" and then the command that is sent to it.
A clearer explanation of the difference (i.e. incompatibility), and of
    my objective:
    1) A normal GPIB controller with NI driver: I go to the NI
Measurement & Instrumentation Panel, under GPIB, and Scan for
Instruments; all the live instruments show up; subsequently when I
want to use Labview programs that use VISA ports, the VISA drop boxes
allow me to choose a different port for each instrument, e.g.
"GPIB0::11::INSTR", "GPIB0::12::INSTR" would be instruments at
addresses GPIB 11 and GPIB 12.
    2) The Prologix GPIB controller that plugs into a USB port: In
Labview you get a *single* VISA virtual serial port, ASRL3::INSTR, for
the entire GPIB0 controller. Therefore to address GPIB instrument 11,
you write "++addr 11" to the virtual serial port ASRL3::INSTR, and
then you are communicating with device 11, so you can write and read
ASRL3::INSTR to talk to that device. Then to talk to device GPIB 12,
you write "++addr 12" to the same VISA port, and then you are talking
to that device. The problem is that this requires recoding all
Labview code, whereas I would like to be able to use the same program
either with a normal or with a Prologix GPIB controller. Therefore, I
would like to create code that scans the controller for all GPIB
attached devices and creates VISA ports for all. Such ports, when
written to, would have to first write "++addr DEVICENUM" to
ASRL3::INSTR (i.e. the port of the GPIB-USB controller) where
DEVICENUM is the GPIB address of the instrument corresponding to that
port, and then would have to do a write or read or whatever function
is being done on that instrument VISA port.
I haven't figured out if it is possible to do this easily. Help and
pointers on where to look for hints would be much appreciated. Many
    thanks!
    Milos

My first impression is that if you don't want to make any changes at all to existing programs is that the wrapper you need is one around VISA. You would need to intercept all of the calls into the NI VISA driver. If you create your own visa32.dll and in there, change the addressing and then call the real VISA driver, you might (repeat, might) get something to work. If this would even work, you still might find that you have to make significant changes anyway. The serial connection is going to be considerably slower, and interface specific functions such as service request handling, bus triggering of multiple instruments, etc., would be difficult to impossible. This would be a lot of work, imho, to just save a couple of hundred dollars over a real GPIB controller. I've seen this Prologix device before and have even used NI's RS-232->GPIB controller. The Prologix intended use to me seems to me more for a hobbyist or very casual user. Of course, I'm used to having multiple GPIB instruments worth 10s/100s of thousands of dollars and the cost of an fully compliant GPIB controller is just lost in the noise.

  • Goods receipt through Inbound delivery for Sub-Contracting Purchase order

    Hi
I am trying to do goods receipt for the inbound delivery /shipping notification created for a sub -contracting Purchase order. The Finished product and the component part are batch managed, When I try to perform PGR in VL32N , I am getting a blank screen as error message and Goods receipt is not getting triggered . I checked for OSS note and found 645119 close to my issue but not an exact match . We are in ECC 6.0 with EHP 4. Can some one clarify whether it is possible to post GR through inbound delivery for a Subcon Purchase order .
Thanks in advance for your immediate response.
    with regards,
    Joseph Anand B

Hi, The issue may be due to this - the component is batch managed but the batch data is blank in the component list of the Purchase Order Item. Or a batch is maintained in the PO item component list but the stock for the same batch is not available with Vendor, i.e. stock with some other batch may be available.
In a receipt for Sub-cont PO, 101 happens for FG and 543 happens for component. But there is no option to provide the component details in a delivery. So in standard system, when 101 happens via a delivery, 543 will be posted in the background. So any error in posting 543 will result in a blank screen without any error message.
You can fix this by maintaining correct batch in the PO component list.
But there is another issue - you cannot do 'cancel posting' and 'return delivery' for this receipt. Only you can reverse the inbound delivery and you should know that the  recevied stock shouldn't have been processed to do reversal of inbound delivery.

  • Change the standard XI content for SRM SUS scenario

    Hello everyone,
I am implementing the "Plan driven procurement with supplier integration" scenario which integrates the SAP R/3 and SRM-SUS.
I have imported the standard XI content available on service market place for the scenario.
Now i have to modify the scenario. I have to add some additional fields in the inbound message for purchase order request.
The proxy classes for these interfaces were already created in the SRM system.
So now after changing the message type what all things i shd take care of e.g like creating the proxy newly etc.
    Thanks and Regards

    Hi Shabarish,
Thanks for your reply, but i have a couple of more questions.
1.I can find a function module called from the method present in the proxy class generated.
    METHOD ii_bbpx1_preq_request_in~execute_asynchronous.
      CALL FUNCTION 'BBP_SAPXML1_EXTREQU_UPDATE_IN'
        EXPORTING
          is_purchreq_request = input.
    ENDMETHOD.
so since i am changing the purchase order request do i have to do any changes in the function module as well.
In the function module Proxy Structures are mapped to the API Structures and then the API is called using BBP_API_EXTREQU_UPDATE function module.
    Thanks and Regards
