WE20 - post processing: permitted agent tab
Hi ,
I need to create a inbound TXTRAW message type for a comapny code which I have done. Then in the screen where you give the process code , the next tab is post processing: permitted agent tab ... here my requirement is that this mail should go to a group of people ... How do I achieve that ?
Please help.
Thank You,
SB.
Hi MxG,
I have created a Org unit "US90" ... but how do I directly assign users to that Org ? ... After creating Org ... it is only allowing to create positions .... and if I create position's (AP_US90_TXTR) and assign the users to the position ... In WE20 if I write "AP_US90_TXTR" in the agent field then it gives an error "Object type S, ID AP_US90_TXTR unknown (please observe upper/lower case)" ... So I am unable to proceed. Could you please help me?
Thank You,
SB.

Post processing agent in partner profile
Hi
Inbound idoc fails. The partner profile has a user (US) in the post processing:permitted agent, both on the actual partner (LS) and on the inbound message type. I would expect to see the error in the inbox of the business workplace, but I see nothing! - what have I done wrong?
Cheers
RobHi,
I think for this you have to configure the workflow notifications for inbound process.
Check if they are in place.
Check this link.

Hope it helps.

Permitted agent in we20 - file-to-idoc scenario
Hello! I'm trying to make file-to-idoc scenario. Could you explain me, what should I enter in Permitted agent field?
Hi,
as per the documentation (F1 on the field):
Specifies the job (person or group of people) to be notified if processing errors occur on the IDoc interface
If an error occurs, only one (the most specific) job is notified. If an error occurs in the ORDERS message for partner HUGH, the system first attempts to determine whether a job responsible for ORDERS and HUGH is defined. If this is not the case, the job defined for HUGH (required entry) is notified.
The IDoc administrator is notified if HUGH does not exist at all in the partner profiles.
Examples
If the recipient type is 'US' ('user'), enter the name of the SAP user who is to be notified.
If the recipient type is 'O' ('organizational unit'), enter the organizational unit whose personnel is to be notified.

OPENSSO PRE/POST PROCESSING ATTRIBUTE FETCHING VIA POLICY AGENT
Is it possible to apply filter or post processing when fetching attributes from open sso using a policy agent? If so, do you know if the process is documented and where or under what search criteria should I use to start my search?
Assume the following attribute (keys) can store multiple values:
Keys:
A | 1 (key 1)
B | 4 (key 2)
A | 7 (key 3)
Is there a way to only extract the key values of B | 4 instead of all of the key values (keys 1, 2 & 3) ?Is it possible to apply filter or post processing when fetching attributes from open sso using a policy agent? Inbound Idoc - permitted agents
In my inbound IDOC my partner profile permitted agents do not get a work item when the IDOC does not post due to some error. I seem to recall that some work needed to be done with the organization structure. Can you point me in the right direction as to which steps I may have missed?
ThanksHi Raynald,
Next step is to check with transaction SWETYPV if the type linkage for IDOCAPPL and event INPUTERROROCCURRED has been activated.
If this is the case you will find workitems for this task in the monitor (use transaction SWI2_FREQ) whenever an IDoc with status 51 has arrived for your message type.
Could you please check is the type linkage is active and if so wether or not work items have been created?

Dear All,
We have an EXIT function which resides in one planning level and the planning layout in another planning level.
The EXIT function is calculating the numbers correctly which creates internal table XTH_DATA and passes it to function module UPF_PARAM_EXECUTE. When we check XTH_DATA, the data records are as we need the records to be generated.
The issue we are having is that, when the EXIT funciton has completed, the data in XTH_DATA looks perfect. However, the data saved to infocube is not exactly the same as it created. For example, the EXIT creates data for 2007/001 - 012. The resulting data in infocube contains many entries of fiscal period 2006001 through 2006006. The posting period is left blank from EXIT function. The resulting data has posting period of blank, 1 through 6, etc.
We use request ID to diaplay data and makes sure the data source is correct.
Planning level for EXIT function data model:
Characteristics are:
Assortment Type
Base Unit
Climate Zone
Concept
Department
Distribution Channel
Fiscal year
Fiscal year/period
Fiscal Year Variant
Hierarchy ID
Lifestyle
Local currency
Plng Area
Posting period
Sales Organization
Version
Volume Group
Key Figures are:
Balanced Receipts
Number of Stores
Stock Index
Any helps, comments, and/or hints are greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
SamHighly frustrating. I've got the IPlanetDirectoryPro SSO token being set, but the custom code to add additional domain cookies...those are not re-written by the cdservlet, and even if hard-coded for testing (I assume I can parse the domain/URI being requested by parsing the HttpServletRequest, but am just testing now) to the 'new domain,' they are sent but discarded by the browser.
This is bad, as those custom cookies are required by several apps. Is there any documentation on writing a custom cdcservlet, sample code, code for the existing one, or any other means to do this?
To be clear - 'basic' CDSSO seems to be working, if a request is made to a resource on Domain B, it directs to the AM host, which is in Domain A. The IPlanetDirectoryPro cookie is being set for Domains A and B in this case, and accepted by the browser. That setting I finally found in AMAgent.properties, here:
com.sun.am.policy.agents.config.cookie.domain.list (in case this helps someone else in the future)
However, I have post-process code implementing AMPostAuthProcessInterface which was setting custom cookies required by some apps, and I am unable to change the domain these are set in. More accurately, I can change the domain, and the data is sent, but the browser is then rejecting it, presumably as it's seeing it as a cross-domain cookie, and thus bad/discarding.
This seems to only leave me with trying to use a custom cdcservlet, assuming I can find the existing code or similar to start with, as I have no idea how it's avoiding the cross domain cookie issue..
Anyone? -
Hello Everyone,
I am new to Netweaver 2004s and am working on an outbound interface through IDOC generation. I don't have an idea about the new "Post Processing Framework" concept but do understand that it closely resembles the regular Output Determination Type.
If someone can help me with any materials towards better understanding of the concept as well as a working template towards the same, I would be highly obliged.
Looking forward to hear from you all.
Thanks & Rgds,
SoumyaHi Soumya,
PPF configuration is basically meant for processing the meesage on the shipment document in GTS.
There are couple of steps that has to be followed :
1 .
Define Techn. Medium for Msgs (PPF Actions) f. Cust. Shipm
In an action profile, we define all of the permitted actions. We also define general conditions for the actions contained in the profile. For example, we can define the way in which the system performs the action (by method call or Smart Forms).
In an action Profile we define different Action it could be for EDI or Print as required.
The Action definition is associated to Processing type
Where Actually the action type is defined like the Form and method get defined here to process the message
Action Profile is assigned to Custom Document type.
Kind Regards,
Sameer
2. Define Conditions and Output Parameters for Comm. of Cust.Sh
Here we define the parameter for messages such as printer and spool as required.
3. Define Messages for Communication Processes
Here we assign the defined Action definiton to the message so now action def is associated to Processing type so message will ge processed as per processng type.
Hope this help in better understanding. -
Compressor post-processing applescript and cluster
I'm having a lot of trouble using a post-processing applescript. I have a preset that pumps out an mp3 from an hdv .mov. the post-processing script does some funky stuff and should pump out an xvid .avi. when submit the job to "This Computer" it works fine, I get the .mp3 and the script gets kicked off and generates .avi's. When the job is submitted to our cluster, however, the job fails immediately, doesn't generate either mp3s or .avi's. the log has the following:
<----snip---->
pid="250" msg="Hard-linked source file to cluster storage."/>
<log tms="226012897.974" tmt="02/29/2008 13:21:37.974" pid="250" msg="Job resource error: System Error = 1 {Operation not permitted}Failed to read filethread terminated due to exception (remote exception). This is likely caused by missing or renamed watermark filter file."/>
<mrk tms="226012897.975" tmt="02/29/2008 13:21:37.975" pid="250" kind="end" what="service-request" req-id="D729F684-764C-439E-9A06-888BB4C9405C:1" msg="Preprocessing job request error (exception=Job resource: System Error = 1 {Operation not permitted}Failed to read filethread terminated due to exception (remote exception))."></mrk>
</logs>
</service>
</services>
<----snip---->
all requisite files have been placed on either a global filesystem (OD home directory for the post-processing script itself) or copies have been distributed to all nodes (a requisite to the applescript). The submitting user has full read/write permissions to the working dir and any subfolder.
Any ideas?In case anyone runs up against this one, I found a solution/workaround. It turns out that when submitting the job to the queue, qadmin would copy the applescript over to the shared folder. During this copy, it would change attributes of the file such that the OS thought the .app was a classic application and would refuse to run it.
Workaround: in compressor preferences, set "Cluster Options:" to "Never copy source to cluster"
Luckily this worked for our setup as we assume all source media and scripts are already on a global filesystem. -
I am a new user to the Photoshop CC 2014. I am unable to save images post processing. Error given is "Unable to save image Write access not granted". Can some one please help me with this.

ShashiIn a finder window highlight and right click the folder you are trying to save to and select Get Info. In the window that opens look at the bottom to see if you have Read/Write permissions. If you don't click the Plus sign and add your Admin Username to the list and give it full Read/Write permissions.

HTML Client: post process a preprocess query?
I am trying to set up a method for quoting jobs and keeping track of parts for the quote. Many quotes can have many parts, so I have a many to many relationship between Quotes and Parts via a table called QuoteParts.
I am trying to design an Add Edit Quote screen with two tabs: one has the quote details and a list of parts for this quote. The other tab has a list of parts available to go on the quote. I have it set so when you tap the item in the list not added to the
quote, it adds the QuotePart and the part moves from the list of available parts to the quote.
I am filtering the two lists using two preprocess queries. They both work fine when opening the screen, however when I add a new part, the part shows up in both lists. I'm assuming it's because the preprocess query didn't preprocess, since the data was added
to the screen and has not been saved yet. If I save and reopen the screen, all shows up fine.
So on to my question: Is there any way to POST process a preprocess query?
I got the idea of how to work with this via http://blogs.msdn.com/b/lightswitch/archive/2013/04/10/many-to-how-many-html-edition-heinrich-wendel.aspxClose, try this:
myapp.BrowseParts.AddPart_execute = function (screen) {
myapp.showAddEditPart(null, {
beforeShown: function (newScreen) {
var newPart = new myapp.Part();
newPart.Hardware = screen.Hardware;
newScreen.Part = newPart;
}, afterClosed: function (newScreen, navigationAction) {
if (navigationAction === msls.NavigateBackAction.commit) {
// Save all changes to parts
return myapp.activeDataWorkspace.ApplicationData.saveChanges().then(function () {
// Refresh the Parts that other code does not reach
screen.UsedParts.refresh();
screen.UnusedParts.refresh();
Be careful about creating global scope functions like you did: RefreshPartsLists.
Cheers

Facing issue in Bulk Load Post Process in case of blank fields in csv file
Hi,
I ran command line bulk utility to create users in OIM through CSV file. I left few columns as blank which were not mandatory. After executing the bulk utility, user got successfully created in OIM but after that when i ran "Bulk Load Post Process" for LDAP sync then it changed the user's organisation to default organisation "Xellerate User" which is a major issue. It is happening only when i am leaving some column blank. Any idea why it is happening and how to resolve this problem? Need some urgent help!!Hi ,
Thanks for your reply, the issue was we can not use DOD=Y due to the dependency of the Standard Version where other program fetches data from the same XML structure,
Any way we resolved this issue by re doing below post installation steps. And used a new schema with updated DTD and point that with the same logical schema.
1) Created a new schema for XML external database
2) Change the DTD file, keep it in the same location
3) Change properties file with new schema name
4) Test with the new schema for XML connection
5) Reverse engineer the BaseModel ITEMBRANCH only (Where we added additional XML Tags)
6) Bounce back ODI agent and Client
Thanks,

Post Processing a bank line item - opening balance
Hi Experts,
I need some help with post processing of a bank statement item.
It is a greenfield implementation where no legacy transactional data or opening balances are migrated. Therefore I've posted a bank statement with incoming domestic bank transfer. This line item now requires post processing as it does not relate to any preceding transaction / document.
The journal entry looks like this...
161012 - AUD Bank No.1 Domestic bank transfers = Credit 5,000,000
161010 - AUD Bank Account No 1 = Debit 5,000,000
I guess "post processing" is required to clear the account 161012 and credit account 161010.
What is the best way to do that?
Thanks
PuruHi Puru,
Go to Liquidity Management > view bank statements > Filter with your new bank
You will observe that a bank statement with ID # 0 got created and the closing balance is same amount what you have migrated.
Now you select new bank statement the ID will be 1 and the last bank statement 0 closing balance will become the opening bank balance in bank statement # 1.
Migration of balances for bank accounts enables you to migrate the current balances of your bank accounts. During migration system automatically creates an offsetting entry so that the document balance results in zero ( this entry is only for migration posting only )
Your expectation of again posting manual journal is not incorrect and is not required here.
Your migration of bank opening balance amount is successful and you can use this bank account for your postings going forward.
Kindly mark this thread as answered if i answered your queries.
Thanks
