Wearehouse - Receiving Items

Hi Oracle Gurus,
My client is maintaining 15 organizations, all are in same address and one operating unit.
Query: All 15 org. raise purchase orders and receive the items from suppliers but suppliers not mentionining which wear house, PO numbers items belongs to, they are finding very difficult trace out which wearhouse raised and when. They have check all the organizations by part number or sometimes po number than receive the items.
Daily they receive 200 receipts, they are finding very difficult to check all the organization.
Is there any other alternative solution to find the po number while receiving the items without giving wearhouse number?
We advise the client to add wearhouse number in address field but client has registered this address under customs, its not possible to add/ modify existing address.

I have advised the same to client but client receive everyday 300 orders, they cannot go everytime to po summary form to findout.
most of the times supplier would not send po number along with items, our client has to trace out and send items to respective wearhouse
if you have any alternative solution in receipts to achieve this.

When I go to create an item I need to enter an External LOV but I am not sure if there is one available and if there is one available where is it located.
For example another item in this region called the Supplier Number has the following External LOV Region:
/oracle/apps/icx/lov/webui/ShipmentNumberLovRN
I know that Supplier Part number is standard because it appears in the search results table region on the same page.
Any information at all would be highly appreciated.

Supplier Part Number unlike ShipmentNumber is a base attribute in iP.
You might want to create a new lov region and a VO (selecting the distinct SPN values from ICX_CAT_ITEMS_B).
Yes, the Search Results table has SPN, but its not an LOV there...!

Error while receiving Item using MB1C.

I get the following error message while receiving Item using T-Code MB1C.
Accounting Data not yet maintained for Material NPPL 2707.
Not sure which setup is missing. Can somebody please help?

Dear Nitesh Patil,
After we do a posting, the changes need to be reflected in FI and since your material master does not contain the accounting 1 and accounting 2 views you are getting this problem.
To rectify, go to MM01 > give the same material name for which you are getting this problem > select accounting 1 and 2 views and fill up the required data.

OAF iProc Receive Items Page VO restrict for one Organization

Hi,
In Internet Procurement responsibility we have Receive Items page.
Requirement is to not show records from one Inventory/Expense Organization.
I could achieve this by extending VO
oracle.apps.icx.por.rcv.server.ReceiveMyItemsVO
Is there any other way to not to show PO's from particular inventory/Expense Organization ?

RcvSrchCO is the controller. As this is a standard form, From controller it calls am.invoke_method("init_query",some Parameters);
Actual vo.execute is happening inside AM. As the pages are diff eg Receive,Return,Correct Co are also different.
I am planning to extend 5 VO's to accomodate this change.
Appreciate your help.

Received items

While using WebAccess I can't see recent received items. But if I use find, with a keyword, I can pull them up. I also can pull them up if I click find and leave the search box empty. HELP, I'm spending too much time trying to figure this out.

Did this just start all of a sudden? If so, did you install any updates to the server or GroupWise? Any other changes made to that server? Is this only happening on 1 user or multiple? Does the issue occur only in WebAccess or in the client as well?

Batch/Serial Number for received items

I Received a item(0001) 10 quantity with the Management Method is NONE
After This process
I want to Sell this Product(0001) as Serial Number/Batch Number wise
One of our Friend told me that we can do this in
"ItemManagement"
In Batch Management selection window I choosed
Operation -COMPLETE
In Item Code My Item (0001) is not appearing
and i tried to change the item(0001) MANAGEMENT METHOD
a Error is coming
That is"u cant change the management method until on hand quantity is zero"
now wat i have to do to make Batch\serial number for received items

Hi Sankar,
In the Item Master Data - General tab, if an item is managed by 'Batches' and its 'Management Method' is 'On Release Only' then that item can be received into stock without creating Batches for that item. However, the item cannot be released from stock e.g. in a Delivery document without selecting batch numbers.
Lets assume that your item '0001' is 'Managed By' Batches and has a management method of 'On Release Only' in the Item Master Data - General Tab. In this case lets say that a Goods Receipt PO is added with a quanauty of 10 for this item and it adds to the database without creating batch numbers for the it. However, the batch numbers, for this quantity of 10 received in the Goods Receipt PO, must be created before they are released from stock, in a Delivery for example. To create these batch numbers the Batch Management must be run with the 'Operation' 'Complete'. This is the only way to create the Batch numbers in this scenario.
I hope this helps clarify the 'Complete' operation in the Batch Management.

* I had written Simple event receviers(Item is Being Adding) to a site at FarmLevel(Farm Solution) and below is the code for it.
* In below code I am adding the List name to a Column called "Name" ,when Item is being adding the code is getting loop and inserting unwanted data and updating Column "Name" with it instead of updating when item is added

Try to use before/after properties to update item in list on ItemAdding event.

Receivables Items and Description Fields

Hi,
We are working in Oracle Applications 11i and I have an inquiry in the Receivabkes module.
From Transactions->Transactions Lines form (Form Name : ARXTWMAI) we have the info of item, description, etc.
As we are using another system to enter direct selling info/invoices, we are not using oracle order management module, and we have no setup regarding the items in oracle receivables module.
So, my question is: can we create a LOV for the two fields ITEM and DESCRIPTION? what are the possible solutions?

Not sure exactly what you are asking..but
A. Item field is not mandatory...so you can leave it blank..if you have no use for it
B. Description field is mandatory....you can enter any free text.....OR pull up LOV ...which will list standard memo line you've setup in AR and select one of the memo lines.

Clearing receivable items by batch input

in account receivable scenario my question concerns automatically clearing items (program RFEBBU00 create a batch input session) by using reference field instead of document number. I am not able to do it by customizing.

F.13 program SAPF124 is used for automatically clearing customer accounts.
You can choose the required field that shall be the criteria in IMG
SPRO>IMG>Financial Accounting>Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable>Business Transactions>Open Item Clearing>Prepare Automatic Clearing.

HT204088 error received items application purchase

i bought 110 gems on sale with price IDR 79.000 (quantity 2 items), in fashion design world application purchase on ipad so i have to pay IDR 158.000 with my credit card. But i only received 110 gems which I should be get 220 gems. any solution?

Talked to iTunes support and here's what happened.
About four years ago, I had created an Apple account for my work and when my wife purchased my my iPT, she had my son setup my iPT so that it was working when they gave it to me.
What he did was create a new account with the same email address, that the old account was using, so when I made a purchase on my home computer, the purchases would end up on my new account. Now here's where it get weird. When I made a purchase on my iPT, it would send the purchase receipt to my private email, (just as my new account would) but the purchase history would be reflected in my old Apple account, even though my home computer was used to sync my iPT to the new account.
So, now that I know this, I'm making sure that my new account that my son setup, is not being used for purchases anymore on my home computer. I'm back to using my old account now.

Did not receive items ordered

I ordered by credit card on 12/10/14 two color cartridges. The transaction was processed on my credit card but I did not receive my order. How long does it take for delivery? How can I check the status of an order?

Received items straight onto memory card?

Not sure why, but for some reason my memory card has stopped allowing me to put received files staight onto my memory card.
For example, if someone trys to bluetooth me an mp3 it will save the file to my received files area. However, due to a lack of space on my phone I cannot receive the file a majority of the time.
If anyone can tell me how to get my phone to start saving files straight to my memory card i would be very grateful

The 6300 is a S40 phone. It does not have the option to have inbound messages (inbound bluetooth transfers count as messages) stored on a memory card.
