Weather absent from notification centre in iOS 7

I installed iOS 7 a few hours earlier and now i've realised that the weather is absent from notification centre and i can't find any option for weather in settings> notification centre. Please help me...

after a while the weather showed back up in my notification center, right under the day and time it should give you the weather in a sentence...like Cloudy currently, It's 63: the high will 70

I've only noticed this since upgrading to iOS 7.1 and I can't find any answers anywhere on the Internet. As the title states: why do my messages keep disappearing from Notification Centre? Usually after an hour or two. The badge on the app icon will stay and if I get another message, the new one shows up in Notification Centre, again just for a while.

did you ever solve this problem? i just upgraded to the 5s and my notifications disappear... and it is very frustrating. i have called apple support, gone to the apple store, swapped out my phone but with no luck... can you advise if and how you fixed the problem please?

No, it does not. I tried Weather channel free, and it doesn't work like the weather wedget on iPhone4.
Anyone got anything working on an iPad as it is on iPhone 4?

Replying to email from Notification Centre auto CC's me

Every time I reply to an email from the pop up in notification centre (Mavericks), mail auto CC's me (I have to manually delete it before I hit send). I have set preferences to NOT CC me when I reply. Anyway to fix this?

Frank thanks for bringing this post back up. I thought for sure it would go unnoticed. It seems to me that there is currently nothing the Geniuses can do about it - and because they claim it's an Android issue I doubt this will be addressed in the next iOS. Unless Android sends an update to their users fixing the problem - if it is an Android problem after all - then it looks like we are left to finding a solution on our own. Like I said previously, the only workaround I found is by "forwarding" the email and then manually entering the sender's address.

All-Day Events and Birthdays not in notification centre in iOS 7...

I am using iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4.
All-Day Events and Birthdays are not showing up in the "Today" tab in the notification centre. I have read some articles and majority has the same problem but there are some people who have birthdays showing under date and above weather in "Today" tab in notification centre.
I want them in the same place too! I hope this is possible. I am really upset because of this.
Any help would be appreciated.

Problem with notification centre in ios 7

Since installing Ios 7 i have a problem with the Notification Centre which i hope is just a setting i can change. The problem is that i play a number of ongoing games. These games send me notifications of free coins to use to buy clues, or in one or two case, a free letter reveal. I have found that when i get to my ipad at the end of the day, some of these games have offered multiple lots of free coins, spaced out over the previous 12 or so hours, plus a free letter reveal, but they are mostly only available by tapping the actual notification - they cant be obtained by opening the game via the app. Now, this is the problem which i hope someone can help with - when i tap on say the oldest of 4 notifications for any of the games, it opens the app and immediately awards me the free coins etc. then i want to reveal the free letter - i go back to the notifications to tap the second oldest message, but it has gone, as have all of the other messages for that game. Is there a way to keep the notifications that i haven't tapped on until i do so, or i delete them. This is really frustrating and it happens on every game that has multiple messages. I assume apple has made an assumption that once the game app opens, all of the notifications are available within the game but they assumed wrong. Can anyone help? Thank You

And just to assuage your fears, you were not charged for the song to play. The price you were seeing in the upper right hand corner indicated that the song wasn't on your device and could be purchased for the $1.29 price. Widgets are disappeared from Notification Centre - MBP 9.1/OSX 10.10.3

Hi evreybody!
I have installed OS X 10.10.3 yesterday, and today i have noticed that the widgets from the notification centre are disappeared.
To be more clear:
Before the upgrade I was able to use the calculator or have other type of widgets in NC, now the calculator is disappeared and the other widgets are not there anymore.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Is It part of the upgrade or it is a bug?

Filip, the Trim command has nothing to do with. Be aware that you have to reset the Trim command everytime you update the OS. The only "easy" method to set the Trim command is with the latest version of TrimEnabler (2.2) which may not work anymore when the next update comes out, research that before you use it. The older versions of TE are crapware. To do it yourself with Terminal commands (Grant Pannel) is even trickier. The Intel SSD has Grabage Collection in its controller, thus it is not a big disadvantage when the Trim command is not set.
The 1.5GB/s "problem" is only when the SSD connects, thus setting "never sleep" for the harddrives is a good idea; do not restart too often.

How to completely delete an app from notification center in IOS not just turn it off

By mistake NDTV was added as a notification in my notification center. I went to preferences/notifications and I was able to turn it off but I want it completely gone which doesn't seem to be possible. Is it just poor programing or am I missing something. Any ideas?

If you're referring to the Notification on Mac OS (iMac), then you can take it out of the Notification Center:
Go to System Preferences > Notifications and drag the app from the top part of the left column down to "not in Notification center". Also make sure you choose 'none' on the right and UNcheck every choice offered. That will stop notifications for that app.
If you are referring to iOS, someone else will need to chime in.

Notification centre weather app

I desperately would like someone to help me get weather into the notification centre. I just bought an ipad yesterday, and I have spent hours trying to figure this out. I spoke with apple support on the phone and he told me to try accuweather. It does give you the option to turn on notifications but it doesnt work. I also tried Celsius app. This is a huge problem! I dont understand the logic of having an option on the iphone for weather and stock notifications and not having it on the ipad. I bought the ipad because I love my iphone, presuambly I would want the same functionality.

I have yet to find a weather app that has this functionality as well. This is the same thing I ran inot with the Clock app which is now in iOS for the iPad. Sure there are many good apps available in the app store but they usually miss with the simplest features which integrate into iOS. Alternatively you can use Siri for weather, but it's a clunky work around.

I think there is a flaw in ios 5. Notification centre doesn't show missed call, during another call is in progress, after accessing recent calls in phone app, once.

Notification centre in ios 5 is not showing the missed calls when another call is in progress. It shows perfectly before accessing the phone app. But once you access the recent calls in phone app, then afterwards it stops showing the missed calls during another call is in progress.

Forgot to add, this happens, when you receive a call, during the phone is locked, and you receive a call, while the previous call is in progress.

Facebook and Twitter not showing in Notification Centre, solution?

Ok, so I have everything set right in Notification Preferences and in Internet Accounts in System Preference. I'm not getting notifications in Notification Centre nor am I getting Alerts. Is there something I'm missing?

I've found two bugs in iOS 7. 1) declined calls does not appear as missed calls on the lock screen/notification centre. 2) when bluetooth is enabled from control center, it does not connect to an already paired bluetooth device

IOS 8.1.3 – Control & Notification Centre disappear from SpringBoard

Hi All,
Wonder if anyone else is experiencing this issue or if anyone has a fix it?
Since upgrading to 8.1.3 I have noticed that my Control & Notification Centre do not appear on my iPhone 6.
I have tried to disable and re-enable from the Settings app.
The only way I can get it back is to restart my phone.
I really do not want to reinstall the iOS yet, so would appreciate some advise first.
The Control & Notification Centre's are normally OK in the morning, as I am able to enable Bluetooth before driving to work.
I also plug my phone into my car using a car specific media cable, not sure if that could be locking up the phones features.
Please also note that on the Lock Screen I can still access the Control & Notification Centre, it's just on the SpringBoard where I have the issue.

This just happened to me too. I updated an iPhone 6 from 8.1.2 to 8.1.3 via iTunes (v12.1 running under Mac OS X 10.10.2) and experienced this bug -- which was never the case with 8.1.2. The only workaround was a restart.
