Weather app 8.0.2 broken?

I purchased an iPhone 6 a few days ago and restored my content via iTunes to the new phone. Unfortunately, the weather app seems to be "broken". All temperatures in all cities that I have listed (Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, London and Berlin) show exactly the same temperature at this time: 27 degrees celsius.
Since I cannot delete the app and powering down the restarting the iPhone doesn't seem to help, would anyone have any suggestions?

Are weather graphics shown for locations other than your own? If so, then detailed weather information probably isn't available for your location.

Hey gang-
Just upgraded my 1st gen iPod Touch to 3.0. Safari and Mail work fine, so networking and wifi are all good. But the Stocks and Weather apps won't update...the progress spinner just goes continuously. Anyone else seeing this?

Weather App that reports to your notification center at a specified time?

Here's the scenario:
I work outdoors and live in the Midwest so the weather can and often does vary A LOT from day to day.
I plug my iPad in for the night and go to sleep.
When I wake up, I hit the home button to see my notification center. Contained there is the report from this weather app, telling me the basic information immediately: Current temperature, the day's high/low, any preciptiation chance.
Now here's the added bonus that I really want:
Everyone knows the temperature changes drastically from night to day, so a temperature reading would need to be taken near to the time that you wake up. What if you could set this app to display the information at a certain time? It's a concept just like an alarm where an action is triggered at a specified time, in this case, weather readings. Say I'm getting up at 6am. I'd set the app to report at 5:55am or something like that.
OR the much simpler apprach would just be to add a weather widget of some sort to the lock screen. If that's an option, I'd gladly go for that as well.
So does anything like this exist?

I found the solution to my question. I had a feeling it was something really easy that I was just missing. Thanks! Feel free to delete this thread. I would but I'm not sure how or if I even can.

You are correct that things would be easier if it was automatic. However, you will generally find that it is a program with a built-in scheduler, such as a backup program or a video recording program, that left some code behind even if the program was trashed or removed from the system.
As far as the PDP11, I don't think I could afford the electricity to run one even if I had one. The PDP11 is the first computer I was exposed to in medical imaging. I list it because every once in a while it draws out the truth from folks like yourself when they admit to knowing what one is.
I think the first disk drives that thing used were housed in recycled washing machines using the old motors to drive the spindles.

My weather app went missing on my iPad (3). Is Siri the only way to access it now?

Never mind... I just found the answer - there is no weather app on the iPad like the iPhone - (other than using Siri). I have other weather apps - I was just wondering if I pooched my iPad or not.

Check the settings, it might be on Celsius and not Fahrenheit.

Weather app error

Hello Sony,
I am receiving "Server error" or "internal server error" every time I am clicking on "15 day forecast" in weather app. Clicking this opens my browser (Opera mobile in this case) and displays the error message.
I am on WiFi with very good signal strenght.
Please solve the issue.

If you are having an issue with your iPhone's weather application not performing as expected, I would suggest a few things to troubleshoot.
First, if as your configuration states you are still running iOS 8.0.2, you may want to install the latest update to iOS 8.1. For how to do this see this article -

If the issue is still present, try quitting all applications and test again -

Try turning your iPhone off and on again -

My weather app is not working on cell data??

The weather app that came on my iPhone 4s doesnt work when im using 3g. It only works when im using wifi. Is anyone else having this problem? How can i fix it?

I have the same problem on my iPhone 4 iOS 5.1.1 and updating to iOS 6 did not fix it. I even tried a restor as new device and still have the same problem. Now I think it is carrier specific. I have contacted customer support 2 days ago and they said they will look into it, still have not heard from them though.

I have a few recommendations for this issue you describe. First if you havent already, restart the phone.

If the issue persists after that, then I suggest toggling the Location Services off and then back on in settings outlined here:
Turning Location Services on or off
You can turn Location Services on or off at Settings > Privacy > Location Services. You can turn Location Services on either during the Setup Assistant process or later through the Location Services setting. You can turn it off if you don't want to use this feature or to conserve battery life. You can individually control which applications and system services have access to Location Services data.
