Weather app home page + Weather i calendar

Hi,
1. A few days ago, the pre-installed AccuWeather-app, suddenly disappeared from the home screen on my Z3. Why? I have tried the widget, but that´s not the same. Anybody here with the same experince?
2. After the update to android 5.0.2 Lollipop i no longer can´t see the weather in the calendar... In the calendarsettings the button is on.
I also missing the "close all app button" in recent apps. In general I´m really disapointed over the lollipop update.

Giant Clock & Weather on Home page & Facebook Notifications

Can someone PLEASE help me?
I have had my Incredible for 2 days & have yet to figure out how to:
1.) Remove the Clock & Weather from the home page.
2.) Does anyone else have issues with getting notifications from Facebook? I have them turned on... But can only see them if I go into FB & look at my profile.
Is there a way to make the Clock & Weather disappear? What is the point of a wallpaper if you can't see it??
Is there something special I have to do about the FB thing?
I feel I'm pretty Tech Savvy but for the life of me I can't figure this out.

As for the clock and weather, press and hold on the clock until a green box shows up around it and drag it to the bottom of the screen.
Open the Facebook app. Click on MENU>SETTINGS Make sure Notifications is marked and what you want to be notified about.

Home page weather display will not update how to fix this?

On my home page, my.Yahoo, I have selected "weather" for one of the displays. In the past this display kept pace with the current day but now it is stuck on a day and will not update to the current day. I have re-booted, terminated FireFox, restarted it, turned the computer off and back on, and the weather still is stuck and will not update.

A couple more suggestions:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Weather on home page

I can not get my weather to opdate on my home page right now it's been 14 hrs and it keeps telling me connection error connection dropped I have wifi on and sync on why won't it work any ideas

not sure? i would try deleting the widget from the home page. then pull the battery for a few seconds. then put the widget back on the home page and see if it will run properly again.

I tried to download a Cisco webex application. The app did not download and I also can't open the app. The problem is that I can't get the webex screen to close, it is stuck open and I can't get back to the app home page!

Try this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

How to get a handle Logged in As message in Apps Home page

Hi,
I want to get the handle to Logged in As meesage in Apps homepage ,when i pressed personalize link. As i want to change this custom message, by some other message,for that i should be able to see the text in the personalize link because i want to attach a custom controller to that.Here i also want to add that am able to see that message in about this page link, it is inside a flow layout, but am not able to see it inside the personalize link.
Please help me in this issue.

EBS/Apps home page format

We recently installed a new 12.1.3 instance and I noticed that the Apps homepage style had changed slightly from 12.1.2. The responsibilities/menu are now expandable folders contained entirely on the left-hand side of the screen.
I assumed this was a change between .2 and .3. However, I've been told it's actually a setting (profile option or framework level). I'd like to change it back so that the responsibilities appear in the left "pane", the menu for the responsibility chosen appears in the middle "pane", and the favorites are in the right "pane".
Anyone know where/what this setting is?

Customise Oracle apps home page

I followed the above steps and even tried the Metalink Doc and did the following to steps, but still i am not getting the image anywhere. note we are using 11.5.10.2
1. Change the FNDSSCORP.gif file.
A. Make a backup copy of the FNDSSCORP.gif file. Name it FNDSSCORP.bak
B. Make the name of the custom logo FNDSSCORP.gif
C. Upload the new FNDSSCORP.gif file to the $OA_MEDIA directory
D. Log out and log back into the application
2. Leave the FNDSSCORP.gif file alone and upload a new image (test.jpg, for example) $OA_MEDIA directory.
A. Log into (N) System Administrator > Profile > System
B. Query the "Corporate Branding Image for Oracle Applications" profile
C. Type "test.jpg" (following our example image) under the Site column
D. Save
E. Log out and log back into the application

Defaults in Favorites Pull down of Oracle Apps Home Page

We are using Oracle EBS ver. R12.1.3,
Our requirement is to have default links in favorite pull down across the organization. I have gone through Oracle documents but without finding much about requirement. Can any one help me to achieve this?

There is no way, using Oracle's functionality, to add a link that is 'global' across a user base. I'm not sure if there is an Oracle API for this but the entries are stored in the ICX_CUSTOM_MENU_ENTRIES table. The only realistic solution I could come up with was scripting the addition of the default links for all your users. You'd also have to develop a job to keep those in sync as well.

Weather app problem

Hi guys,
I have a problem since a while now with the weather app.
I am using the weather app to check weather in cities I am visiting. The problem is that even if I delete a city from my weather app, after some time all the cities I previously checked in the past are coming back !!!
I wanted to have only Paris for example but after some days (random) all the cities were back and now I have 12 cities open in the app.... then if I check a new one 13 will come after some time even if I delete all of them.
Is my explanation clear ? Is it a common pb ? I did not find anything about it in faq or blogs.
Turn off and on performed already, soft reset and hard reset too with complete reinstallation of the firmware.

EBS Home Page color is trun on blue instead of the origenal color

In My production Instance , after bounce the services , i found that APPS home page has a different color than usual , its turned to blue color
My environment installed in HPUX Itanium
EBS version : 12.1.1

Has any up-gradation/ new patch been applied your apps instance ( 11i to R12 ) ?? the look and feel of 11i and R12 is different altogether .
The blue theme come up by default with release 12 versions .
where are you getting in blue theme in home page , are accessing via JSP home page or form based screen ?

How can I restore the date & weather app to my home page?

I accidentally moved the date and weather app that appears on the home screen to trash. How can I restore this app?

apps > widgets, then slide screens to the left until you get to Weather > press and hold, then move to wherever on Home screen you want it

I want to restore my home page the way it was before I downloaded Firefox 4 which destroyed my home page features (news, currency converter, horoscope, weather etc.) so I deleted Firefox 4 and re-installed Firefox 3.6.17.

The look of my home page was perfect with Firefox 3.6.17. I had a strip of whales breaching around the Google logo. Underneath I had all kinds of wonderful things (I forget what they're called) on the page which was divided into sections: weather, CNN, Reuters, currency converter, Rick Levine's daily horoscope, health tip of the day etc. I promptly removed FF4 because my home page was totally ruined and I can't figure out how to restore all these wonderful easy features. Could you kindly help me or has FF totally changed the entire home page layout and I shall never be able to restore them. I have saved a copy of my Profile on my USB stick. I, too had my book marks disappear when I upgraded to FF 4.0
I am now back and enjoying FF 3.6.17 (my original) yet I am still
without my book marks and am floundering trying to recoup.
Any help appreciated. If unable to see my book marks in the near
future I will definitely jump ship. It's too bad that FF people have
created this problem. I am mystified and disgusted with their actions.

Difference between Weather App & Weather web page

For example, in my weather app I have Breckenridge Colorado. It says Sunday's weather will be Sunny and 50 Degrees. When I click on the "Y!" it takes me to a page that says that Sunday's weather will be Snowy and 30 degrees. Slight difference.
So I checked weather.com, which says that Sunday's weather will be Snowy and 30 degrees.
So I guess I can't trust the Weather App anymore. It's too bad, I liked it, it was convenient.
Or do you have any other ideas?
Any way I can submit a bug to Apple?

What happened to my Google home page with weather, etc in Firefox 4?

I set up a Google homepage with weather, news link, translator, etc and Firefox 4 install has wiped it out. I just get standard Google as my home page. What happened? Do I have to go back and request everything again?

Same issue here. Seems that all cache and cookies were wiped out with the update. Being a software engineer myself, I have to say, it's generally considered '''''very''''' poor practice for software updates to wipe out user data. It's very surprising that this would happen with Mozilla.
Unfortunately, I'm trying to get everything back to how it was for an elderly family member, and she has no clue how she got it set up to begin with. I'm pretty sure that she didn't have an iGoogle account?
