From then on, it can only be seen by using Maximize in the task bar. When Restore/Move/Size are clicked, the pointer just goes to the upper left corner of the screen with all combinations of clicking/dragging having no success. What causes this, and what can be done to move it back?

If a window disappear then using the system menu can make it reappear or make it possible to move that window in view. I don't know what causes it to make the window disappear in your case if it does work correctly if you start Firefox.
You can check the browser.link.open_newwindow prefs on the about:config page if you want to open all links in tabs in the current window.

This thread and all the followups are hilarious, if it weren't such a serious problem. OP, you may want to add a bit more information on how this drippy screen problem occurs: where do you live, what are the weather conditions, what are you doing with the Mac when it occurs, etc.
Yes, extreme moisture, to the extent of causing visible condensation, is Very Bad News for any electronic device, and more so with one that isn't tropicalized like the Mac. Besides trying to avoid subjecting it to such extreme temperature changes, using some kind of desiccant to absorb close range moisture and avoidint its use until it dried out, I can suggest placing some kind of absorbent material between the display and the keyboard to prevent the moisture on the glass from finding its way into the computer. Like the protective poliethylene foam protector that came with the Mac when new. Or something like RadTech's ScreenSavrz: http://www.radtech.us/Products/NotebookScreenSavrz.aspx

Obviously that's your problem. As the message states, five is the maximum supported.

Login screen and App Store only in English on a German desktop

I am from Germany and after upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion (several week ago), my login screen is in English only. There ia
sleep, shutdown restart instead of the German words. First I thought this is not yet translated. But now my brother upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion as well and he told me that his login screen is fully translated. We both have MacBook Pro Intel machines. Both 10.7.2.
In my system settings, everything is set to German.
And a second problem is that the Guest user is shown in the login screen, although I did not enable it. And it show Gueast in English as well and not the German translation.
Did I miss some configuration panel somewhere?
I am not a newbie, so if you point me to some files I can edit or remove or whatever, that would be okay for me (I am a Linux guy and love Vi ;-) )
Maybe a second strange translation error is the App Store. This app also is only in English here. Is there some system wide setting that controls both problems?

Do you think it might be possible that your phone is a 3G instead of a 3GS? The reason for asking whether this is a possibility is because 3G iPhones cannot be updated any further than ios 4.2.1. 3G and 3GS are very similar in external appearance. You're gonna have to figure out how to call AppleCare & ask to talk to "Account Security". If your english is not good, then find someone to help you. Be prepared to prove ownership & the fact that you purchased this phone from an authorized source in the US. They "may" be able to help you.

Bought Adobe creative suite, but only need photoshop on second computer. What can i do?

I have Adobe Creative Suite installed on my desktop computer. I am about to buy a Surface Pro 3 but I only need Adobe Photoshop on there so it wont slow it down too much. Also after I install it here, will it work in South America when I visit there?

If you want to use the Photoshop from the Suite then you will have to install using the Suite. You do not have to install all of the programs in the Suite. Whatever programs you have installed from the Suite will not be able to tell where you are in the world - they should work.
