Web ADI Configuration Error

Hi,
We are getting the following error.
Web ADI Configuration Error
BNE_UIX_PHYSICAL_DIRECTORY is not configured. FPRIVATE "TYPE=PICT;ALT=http://hostname.domainname:port/OA_HTML/cabo/images/t.gif"
I followed the below thread

but still not working
Apps version : 11.5.10.2
DB version : 10.2.0.2

BNE_UIX_BASE_PATH
BNE_UIX_PHYSICAL_DIRECTORY
If set, please unset the above profiles (remove from the site value)..

Set the following 2 system profiles as follows:
BNE UIX Physical Directory $COMMON_TOP/webapps/oacore/html/cabo/
BNE Upload Staging Directory /tmp

Unset the 'BNE_UIX_PHYSICAL_DIRECTORY' profile option (null value is the default) and set other BNE profile options with the correct value
But anyways, I have checked both - setting and unsetting the profile options and bounced apache
But still not working

Oracle Web ADI: Fata Error

Hi,
Environment:-R11i
Trying to upload Journal through the Web ADI.
When I am clicking on the Currecny field LOV in the Excel sheet then it is not showing the Currency Code = UK instead of that it is throwing the error
Error:-
Exception Name:oracle.apps.bne.exception.BneFatalException - The Applications Context SOB does not equal the SOB supplied in the sheet. You must logon to Oracle Applications using a responsibility with the same SOB as the current spreadsheet.
Does anybody have an idea about this.

Web ADI JVM Error

Hi
When Iam uploading more rows Iam getting the below error in Web ADI.
Rollbacking the transaction on ExceptionJBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError, msg=Java heap space.
Pls let me know if this is bug or any settings that can be changed?

Web ADI error

Hi,
We have changed the BNE: Upload Staging Directory profile path as we were getting empty excel sheets when we were exceuting FGS reports and after chaging this profile path the users were facing the below error when they are using Web ADI
Fatal Error: Please have your system administrator view the bne.log.file. java.io.FileNotFoundException(The Network path was not found)
When I asked my DBA if the provided path in Production is a valid path then he changed the path again and asked to clear the browser cache and test the issue again. After clearing the browser cache when users tried using ADI they are getting Empty Excel sheets.
User has the Internet explorer setting and Excel setting properly.
Kindly let us know if we need to verify any other settings or profile options.
Any help is much appreciated.

WEB ADI Error with Excel - Compile Error

I am trying to export data to Excel. The process works until the data is loaded to Excel whereupon I get a Microsoft Visual Basic error "Compile Error: User-defined type not defined.
Behind the error message is several screens from VB with the following line highlighted "Dim oParser As New SAXXMLReader30"

Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS.

Possible tries and docs:
Pls try:
1. Go into the responsibility: System Administrator
2. Navigate to Profile->System->Profile: BNE%Directory%
3. Remove any value in the profile BNE_UIX_PHYSICAL_DIRECTORY
4. Bounce the web server and retest the issue.

Web ADI and Windows error 1706

Hi everyone,
In a test instance I've configured Web ADI. When an accountant tries to create a spreadsheet he gets a popup box saying, "Please wait while Windows configures Oracle Client." Followed by the error, "Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product Oracle Client. Windows Installer cannot continue." He can click OK and get past the message but it happens every time.
I've searched MOS but came up empty. Does anyone have any ideas?

I can't get anyone else willing to test until I get this problem resolved on this one work station.Please try from some other machine as suggested before in my previous reply and see if you can reproduce the issue.
Also, check the BNE.log file for any errors and post it here.

Web ADI - Error in BneMailMerge()

Hi,
I have configured a Web ADI letter for Contract Printing and I get an error in BneMailMerge() as the view attached with Integrator doesnot fetch any row.
But when I execute the same view from Pl/sql developer,it fetches the rows properly.
Any hints,what can be the cause of this issue.

Jujaar,
I had this same issue but for me it was with the view that I was using i.e it didnt have proper joins. I would suggest to check your Visual Basic security settings in MS Word if thats what you are using though I realize that this error shows up at the end when it attempts to open the letter.

Configuring Web ADI

Hi All
When I try to export the data from the People> Enter and Maintain using the Export Data icon, I am getting the following error mssg:
"Function not available to this responsibility. Change responsibilites or contact system administrator.
And also when I try to export data from some other windows, its is showing the following error:
"APP_PER_289792: Before you can run a mail merge or data extract from this window, your system administrator must define a Web ADI integrator and associate it with the window. There are currently no integrators associated with this window."
How to configure and use the Web ADI's in HRMS?

One of the known issues when applying Patch 3218526 - BNE.D is:
Error: You do not have permission to access this functionality.
This error will be shown after applying BNE.D and not completing the Post-install steps noted in Note: 287080.1 - About Web Applications Desktop Integrator Mini-pack 11i.BNE.D. If this error is received after completing the Post-install steps, it may be caused by bug 3951092. A workaround is for users to remove all items in their Self Service Favorites menu.

simple make the link "ln -s libdb.so.3 libdb.so.2" in the /usr/lib directory.

Error when using LOV wildcard(%) in custom web ADI

There are a number of LOVs on the form, and they're all working fine except one.
The LOV is populated correctly, however, once the wildcard (%) search is used, the following error is shown:

maybe this is the problem. The type is byte and not binary.
But I have the same problem as mentioned in the other thread: I can't change the type.
The type in the WSDL of my web service is "base64binary". Is there maybe a possibility to import a jar-file for this type?

Unexpected Error - Web ADI having more than 800 lines in an invoice.

Hi All,
I am trying to upload an invoice having more than 800 lines through a custom build "AP Invoices WebADI". I am getting "Unexpected Error"; where Error message may be different in each unsuccessful run.
I have tried decreasing the lines step by step; by decreasing 25-50 lines per run. I was able to load an invoice with 450 lines but couldn’t load invoice with 500 lines.
What can be the reason ? Is there any limitation in open interface to load particular number of lines per invoice OR some sort of Web ADI limitation ?

I have checked the log file and found the issue:
BneBaseSQL.executeQuery:Stack trace: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded
I can understand its due to limit of open cursors. Before making change to db parameter I am troubleshooting code if I can find something to close the cursors properly.
One thing I have noticed is that this message is coming, every time (after 450 records), when Web ADI calls Java LOVs to validate the given values. All other code is fine.
I have 8 java based LOVs (java components attached in Web ADI). As per my understanding, during validation of each record, it calls the SQL Code for 8 LOVs hence open 8 cursors for each record. After 450 records, limit of maximum open cursors exceeds hence causing the issue.
What do you think, Is it true in this case? If yes, is there any solution to it ? The thing I am worried about is; how I can control the call of Web ADI to Java LOVs ??

Web ADI-Error while trying to load data-URGENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have created a custom integrator and I am trying to load the data using Web ADI but I am getting some errors
I am trying to load some rows.
when I click on upload it gave me prameter window to select all rows or flagged rows(Normal) but when I click on upload after that I got the 1st error which says{color:#ff0000}"*The Server is Uable to Complete The Upload. Please contact the system administrator"*{color}when I click on close its getting closed but ....when I click on cancel ({color:#ff0000}X{color}), I got 2nd warning message {color:#ff0000}*"Warning-The upload process cannot be canceled, Press OK to return to the processing page"* {color}and when I click ok then I got the 3rd message confirmation that the rows got loaded sucessfully and some times when I try to load the data I am getting an Error message saying*{color:#ff0000}" Please Resolve the{color} {color:#ff0000}following error to{color} {color:#ff0000}continue, Internal Page Flow Error".*

Configuration Error 16 on Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium

Hello,
I recently began receiving a Configuration Error 16 message when I attempt to launch any of the CS6 applications.
I attempted to follow the instructions here:

However, when I attempted to go to the SLStore and Adobe PCD folders in Finder, I discovered that neither folder actually exists. (I'm guessing this may be a key cause of the problem.)
I am wary of uninstalling and reinstalling, simply because I was provided a free download of CS6 Design and Web Premium by the University of California, Berkeley, which I attend. I can produce my software license number upon request.
Simply, how do I go about fixing this problem? If a full uninstall and reinstall are the solution, will I be able to do so freely?
I am using Mac OS 10.8.4
