Web Admin error
In Web Admin, when I click on "Set AppSet parameters" or " Set Application parameters", it is giving me an error - "500 - INternal server error". There seems to be some setting that needs to be activated or some additional authorizations that I need - what/which are those?
I can access other links on that web page, eg: Manage Document Types, etc
It's just these two options that is giving me the internal server error.

Anand we also had similar issue. Our Basis guys founded out that Anti-Cross was corrupt causing the web issue.
Solution: Reinstalled Anti-cross
Searched in another thread for installing anti-cross -
Once you login to SWDC, go to software downloads -> installation and upgrades -> browse our download catalog -> SAP cryptographic software. Then download SAP BPC 5.1 or higher. This downloads a zip file. This file has the file you need.

Creating Open Directory Replica fails with Server Admin Error Value 1127
Hallo,
I have seen a lot of similar threads here and they were helpful up to a certain point, but in the end, they did not solve my problem.
Currently, it comes down to this. The Server Admin Error message ist really meaningless and I could not find a single for the error value on the whole wide web. As such, I switched to the command line versions of the tools involved to geht more meaningful results. It worked. Specifically, creating a replica of an openldap master means using slapconfig.
When executing
slapconfig -createreplica master.ourdomain.com diradmin
as root on the prospective replica machine, I get the following error message:
ssh command failed with status 127
That command is not allowed with the root account via public key authentication.
That makes perfect sense to me, but how is it meant to work then?
Executing slapconfig as admin tells me that this tool is to be executed as root. On the other hand, root login via ssh is not allowed in Mac OS X by default, which seems fine to me. I even changed /etc/sshd_config on the Open Directory Master machine to "PermitRootLogin yes". However, neither reloading ssh using launchctl nor restarting the whole server made this setting operational. Trying to login from command line as root still tells me:
root login is not permitted to this machine via public key authentication.
While this is the current state where I need help urgently, I changed some other things before. I tell about to exclude these issues as possible reason of failure. I got this message for quite a while:
Replica Setup failed : This machine does not have a valid computer name
I was sure, this machine meant the target machine, the open directory master, because the domain had changed there once before I had taken over responsibility as an admin in this environment. And in fact, changeip disguised an issue there. The command proposed by changeip to fix the situation did not seem appropriate because this machine is multihomed with a public and a private IP adress. Proper name resolution is available for both interfaces including reverse lookup. I dont like this setup, but it was the only way to get mail service running smoothly. Running changeip on the machine itself using these arguments
changeip /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 internalIP internalIP old.ours.com current.ours.com
reported success in updating password server, open directory, both interfaces, hostconfig (which in fact did not change) and samba. It reported an issue with kadmin which is related to Kerberos (we dont use Kerberos yet).
Changing the hostname of the server using changeip did not solve the issue. I then found the hint to check with scutil. This showed that the Hostname was not set on the prospective replica machine. (A question aside: in how many place is the hostname stored? The traditional /etc/hostname has gone, but seems to be replaces with several other configuration files and databases. I cant see this as an advantage). Setting the hostname using scutil worked fine. However, it did not solve the problem either. At least, slapconfig now started to complain about not being able to log in as root instead of failing from the start.
I also checked all log files on bboth machines that might have to do with openldap, as there are /var/log/slapd.log, /var/log/system.log and /Library/Log/slapconfig.log. I also checked the log of th layer on top of openldap which is /Library/Log/DirectoryService.server.log. None of them revealed anything noticeable beside a lot of of entries that I have googled in the last few hours and which all dont seem to be associated with the problem in question.
I will take a break now, but I have to fix this until tomorrow and I hope to get the ultimate hint from you, dear reader.

Initial OD replication takes place via 'ssh'. If you have 'sshd' configured on the OD Master to authenticate with public keys then the OD replica will not be able to communicate with the OD Master via 'ssh'. You must configure the OD Master to use 'ssh' with password authentication and root login enabled.
Demote the replica back to standalone. Stop any services that you may have running on the primary network interface. Then stop any services that you may have running on the secondary network interface. In the 'Network' System Prefpane remove the IP number from the secondary interface then deactivate the secondary network interface.
Assign the private IP address and hostname that you wish to use for the replica to the primary network interface. Assign the 'public' IP number to the secondary interface. Check the DNS to see that the IP address and hostname for the primary network interface resolve both forward and reverse for the hostname of the replica that you have chosen. If it does not, fix your DNS before proceeding.
In the 'Sharing' System Prefpane, change the name of the machine to the hostname (server.domain.tld) of the replica that you have chosen. Then use 'changeip -checkhostname' to see if the IP/hostname matches. Fix it if it doesn't.
Then configure the /etc/sshd_config file on the OD master like this:

PasswordAuthentication yes
PubkeyAuthentication no
and the /etc/ssh_config file on the OD replica like this:
PasswordAuthentication yes
PubkeyAuthentication no
Then from the OD replica as the 'root' user issue:
slapconfig -createreplica <ODMasterIPorFQDN> <diradmin user>
Make sure that the 'diradmin' user's password contains only alpha-numeric characters -no 'option-characters' or symbols, change it first if it does. Once the process completes, reactivate the secondary interface for the 'public' IP and check the configuration of services that will be using that IP, then start your other services. Secure the 'ssh' service on both machines to disable password authentication and 'root' logins. -

CAM Web Admin Console is Unavailable
Hi All,
We have two CAM appliances and they are configured in HA mode. Today i have noticed that one of them is active and the other one is dead and I can't access it by using web admin console although i can access it by CLI and I can ping the active one from it and also ping the failover IP. What is the reason of the following error message? why couldn't I access its web admin console?

Java Web Start Error in through codebase url with SSL
I have created one Java web-start plugin application in swing which is launched from PHP site at browser plugin.
All things were working fine, but when we implemented SSL in our site it stopped working. And when we try to start the application from browser it thorws error like:
Unable to launch Application.
In Java console it puts following log:

we are creating sales order in SAP from a quote created in .NET, through Web Service created in SAP, and consumed in .NET.
When ever a order is created in SAP for a given quote, SAP returns the sales order number to .NET.
Orders are getting created as expected, but once in a while we are getting the following error from webservice :
Web service processing error; more details in the web service error log on provider side (UTC timestamp 20140609173429; Transaction ID 4DFCEFE33301F1EBB5CE00155D0B4530)
But the problem is order is getting created in SAP for the perticular quote for which we are getting the above error and this order number is not getting returned to .NET.
Upon analysis in TCODE SRT_UTIL for the above transaction ID, has the following details , which are hardly help full to resolve the error.

BO Rampup 4.0 WEBI strange error

We are currently using BI 4.0 Rampup and trying to develop our application on it.
while creating an query when i add measure objects in the report it gives the Error "The DSL service return an error (WIS 00000)
if i remove the columns the report run without issue this error is not because of wrong defination of measure object in business layer because i check to change the measure objects and the error repeat with almost any combination of objects.
i have check the Query in Business Layer by adding all the measure objects and same filter and it runs without any issue, but in WEBI giving error.
if some body face this issue in WEBI 4.0 kindly please let me know.
In between i have checked when i remove some columns this error not came is this because of sub queries limitations, cause all the measures are restricted i.e. along with the where clause with diffrent parameters.

I found the whole thing in WEBI for this BO4 is so unstable. Whenever you changed something of the underlying BEx Query and specially that involved Variable, the WEBI has always caused issues. You can't even determine what exactly caused the issue - and thanks to the Error message which is so unhelpful.
So far, from my own experience - anything to do with BEx Query that involves Structures and Variables (incl. User Exit Variable), you just have to be very careful with the impact to the WEBI reports.
I actually found the way to copy from W1 to W2 based on a copy from Q1 to Q2. You do this via "Change Source" in Design tab or Data tab. Once you copied the Webi, change the source query. So in this case, once you have W2 change the source from Q1 to Q2. Again, you have to be very careful with changes of the BEx query after you generate the WEBI report.

I'm wondering how I can find the ip addresses and if it is possible to deal with the web admin pages of the multiple routers,switches, and cable modem in my home network. I've got a cable modem plugged into a router which then goes to a switch as well as another wireless router. In the past I've been able to go to the web admin page for these devices but when they're all plugged in the only page I know of is my main router (192.168.2.1). I'd like to get to my modem and at least my other router.

SG 300 web admin interface does not display properly
Went to log into the web admin interface on my SG-300 today and I get this in both IE and Firefox:
I'm not able to login by typing user/password and just pressing enter. I've tried power-cycling the switch, and this didn't help, however, since the power cycle, the font-panel system LED has been blinking green. I seem to recall, though I can't locate the reference now, that this means the switch is running with factory settings, but that cannot be right because:
1. I had previously saved a new configuration on the switch, which it should be using now.
2. It is answering on the configured non-factory IP address -- just not rendering the web admin interface successfully.

Thanks.The response buffer size of IIS Server has to be increased. Execute the below steps in HFM Web server:
- Go to Start > All Programs > Oracle EPM System > Foundation Services > EPM system Configuration.
- Select Configure Web Server under Financial Management > Configure IIS for Financial management Web Application > Click on Advanced Options.
- Change the "Response Buffer Size to 1073741824 > OK > Next > Finish the configuration. -
CS5 Photoshop - Adobe Save for Web & Devices Error
Hi folks,
I know similar threads exists, but this one is different. For some reason, out of the blue, I can't use 'Save for Web' anymore. When I choose 'save for web', it opens the preview dialog nicely, up until I save & get this error:
"Adobe Save for Web & Devices Error
Could not complete this operation. An unknown operating system error has occurred."
Cleared all my settings, and the error remains.
I uninstalled PS CS5, installed it again... still get this error.
Hope someone knows how to fix it!

MacBookPro3,1, running all the latest updates (OSX 10.6.4), CS5 Master Collection.
Luckily still have CS4 Master Collection installed (and Flash CS3).

Tx, but 99% of my time, I work on my local system (scratch disk also). Already had problems working with the company's network (files get locked or corrupted while trying to save), so we've learned the hard way not to use the network.
I guess that's somewhat expected if you work with a Mac, in a professional Windows environment.
Meanwhile, I'm a step closer in finding a solution myself. A colleague gave me a great tip, if you create an extra user account on the system, you start with a clean library. On my second account, PS CS5 is working just fine. So clearly, something went wrong in my library. Maybe permissions like you've said. At this point, I could try to fix it by copying files from the one user to the other. But I would like to wait for that connect session so they can see what's wrong. -
Web Part Error From build-in "Contacts" App
My SP 2013 Foundations has been functioning normally for the past few months until this week. I added the built-in "Contacts" app back when the site was built. This week for some reason when I go to click "Add", I receive the following
error:
"Web Part Error: A Web Part or Web Form Control on this Page cannot be displayed or imported. The type could not be found or it is not registered as safe. Correlation ID: f590159c-dcb7-a0f5-9dc9-76bb9b18c79e."
I can click "edit" on that list and make changes fine.
Attempted to Google this one but for the most part my search has turned up nothing. This error seems to be experienced most times by individuals who built their own custom web parts and did not add Safe Controls to the web.config file. How could I get an
error like this with the default/built-in app?
I don't see anything helpful in the logs ( %SystemDrive%\inetpub\logs\LogFiles ) as it just shows the point where I get the error, without displaying any more info: 2013-04-26 14:55:03 192.168.0.67 GET /Lists/Company+Directory/Contact/newifs.aspx
