Web Agent and Clip Board set up for multi user environment

Hi
Our environment is
Database: 0racle8.1.5 on Sun Solaris
Currently we are not using OAS but a portal server and Apache
Intermedia Web Agent and Clip Board are working fine.
The questions are
1. if there are multiple users (content managers) who would be adding /modifying content in the database, the how can I go about with Clip board.
2.The requirement is these people should be able to search documents on the basis of keywords. So how do we integrate Intermedia query capabilities on this clip board interface.
3. For production level how do we go about implementing.
Should we continue to have the ctxsys user and use that itself.

    Thank you for your help!I have sent my application information to your product manager by email!
    But the error stll appears.When I typed the whole domain name in the host area of Clipborad,the error message changed to "An application error has occured,please try again!".When I typed the address"http://My host:port/intermedia/~about"(I have substituted ^ with ~ )"and "http://My host:port/intermedia/admin",it still returns an error page which says"HTTP 500 Server internal error......"like before!
    Also,I found other errors about OAS.One Application cannot add the second Cartridge,it returns an error:"OWS-09103:Cartridge section'[Application wscWRBApp" when I do it.So I suspect the reason is my operating system platform,I will try to reinstall it now.

    Procedure
    Correct one of the two rules for the field selection.

    Hi. A JDBC connection pool is a set of identical, interchangeable, pre-made
    connections, and the controls to make sure only one user uses a particular
    connection at any one time. If you want to have different DBMS users, you can
    have a separate pool for each DBMS user, which may contain as many or few
    connections as you want. Some applications has a pool for the accounting
    applications, and another for the sales applications etc. Some do have a
    separate pool for john, jane, joe etc, each with one connection. Pools
    can be created and destroyed dynamically using the dynamic pool API.

    I am using Abobe Acrobat 9 Pro.
    In the HELP menu, there is a security section in the contents, In the overview, it states the following:
    "Each security method offers a different set of benefits. However, they all allow you to specify encryption algorithms, select the document components to encrypt, and set permissions for different users."
    I would like to know how you can set permissions for different users using Password Security.
    I am the only one in the company who has Acrobat 9 Pro and all others have Adobe Reader 8.
    I have created a PDF file in Acrobat 9, this file is accessible to anyone with Abobe Reader. I would like to set different permissions for different users. For example, i would like certain individuals to print the document and other individuals to not be allowed to print. Can this be acheived using Password Security?

  • TFS Kanban board not visible for some users

    We have TFS 2012 and some users can see the Kanban board while other users cannot see Kanban board or (Work>>
    Backlogs). We compared the permission under administrator settings and seems to be same for all users (developers group). Is there any special permission or server side permission you have to assign to see Kanban or backlogs tab?
    Any guidance or instructions would be helpful.

  • OIM11g R2 - If two roles (ACF2 and AD) are selected together for a user req

    Hi ,
    We are facing a problem In the Catalog, if two roles (ACF2 and AD) are selected together for a user and checking it out.The request goes to approval process.We have not created any approval process flow.
    Plz let me know how to recover from it and provide an option to provision two roles simulaneously to a user without going into approval process.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Create a user in OIM .
    2. Search that user.Administration->Users->Search User
    3. Click on 'Roles' tab and select 'Request Role' under that tab.
    4.'Catalog' tab opens .Click on Search icon and Add AD and ACF2 Role to the cart.
    5. Click on 'Check out'
    6. Click on Submit button
    7. Request Summary tab opens with Request status shown as 'Obtaining Request Approval' and Request Type as 'Assign Roles'.
    Note: If we assign AD and ACF2 individually to user and running Evaluate User Policies we are able to see account in Provisioned state under Accounts tab of User and request is not going to approval process

    As mentioned I created two auto approval policies
    1. Request Type= Assign Roles
    Level= Request Level
    Auto Approval checked
    Approval Rule=Requester.UserLogin Equals XELSYSADM
    (Created this rule as i am logeed in as XELSYSADM)
    2. Request Type= Assign Roles
    Level= Operation Level
    Auto Approval checked
    All Scope Checked
    Approval Rule=Request.RequestType Equals Assign Roles
    After that i opened the user request role page and requested 2 roles (AD and ACF2).
    But now also request went to approval work flow
    Please point which step i have missed or any other step need to be performed.

    An Adobe PDF Pack subscription is tied to an Adobe ID, so it's a single-user subscription. There's nothing to install; you access the subscription by logging in via a web browser to https://cloud.acrobat.com using your Adobe ID and a password.

  • Adding boot manager entry for multi-user.target in stock configs

    How about adding an entry to the stock conifgs of grub and syslinux that append "systemd.unit=multi-user.target" to the kernel parameters and removing the autodetect hook by default?
    So then have one boot option for standard hooks without autodetect.
    And another which appends "systemd.unit=multi-user.target" (replacing the current fallback)
    If never really noticed any difference between using and not using the autodetect hook on any of my 3 computers.
    Although I guess just editng the parameters from the boot anger isn't that hard...

    vm-mouse and mesa were necessary for starting the x-server. So startx works now, whereas LightDM still produces an error.
    Besides the resolution can´t be adjusted to 1920x1080 in the System Settings. I tried to solve this with the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf, which I took from the wiki.

    Dreamweaver had this capability many releases ago, but it has been dropped, so it's no longer available.

  • No data in S001 and RSA3 after set up for 2LIS_01_S001

    I am using 2LIS_01_S001 datasource to pull data to customer cube 0SD_C01. This datasource is made active in R/3. I tried doing set up using OLI7,OLI8 and OLI9 transaction, but no data is getting updated to S001 table and hence no data in RSA3.  Data are there in VBAK ,VBAP etc...
    I dont have any clue why data is not coming to S001.
    Parameters are set up in OMO1 transaction also.
    We are in BI 7 and ECC 6.0.
    Could you please share your thoughts on this.

    Follow this path in ECC system
    SPRO-Reference IMG-Logistic general-Logistic information System-Logistic information warehouse-Databasis- Tools-SetUp Statistical Data-Application-Specific Setup of Statistical Data and click the notepad symbol for you required application in this case its SD. It will give a complete step to load data.
    Regarding data not loading:
    The reason could
    1) No update group maintained for the Sales document (check table VBAP)
    2) Mark the check box in the tcode OLI7 (Redetermine update group & update documents)
    Even i am facing an issue where the sales document number without update group are not getting update to S001 info structure.
    Any clue why ?? What should be done in that case

    Can anyone help me regarding the feasibility of using PDF forms for my following case?
    I would like to create a Dynamic pdf form. User only have the Acrobat reader. they can enter some information. Then have a submit button. when user click the submit button, it can call the web service with data. then Web service returns a Static PDF document based on data and the user can print it out. (and maybe save as separate pdf file)
    1. Is that possible to implement? Because I know PDF can call web service, but dont know how it handle when the webservice returns another static PDF document. could it able to handle the responds and open up in another acrobat reader?
    2. As I understand I need to have Live Cycle Designer to create a pdf  and make it Reader Enabled. So user can user reader to call webservice? am I correct?
    3. What minimum reader that user need to have? PDF reader 7 or above?
    4. I have a webservice serve the same purpose for web. But if I want the same web services can serve both web and PDF form. So, whatever client (PDF or Web)make the web service call, server returns the PDF document to client. Is that possible ? Do I need to make any changes on web service?

    Srini: We have developed a Servlet to talk to Webservice. Based on the Webservice response, the Servlet, prepares the Byte stream and sends it to Webbrowser to display as a PDF. The PDF data was submitted to Servlet in XML format.
    But if you do not want to use the above approach, then you have to use the Workbench Process.
    Submit the PDF data to a Workbench process and the inside process, execute Webservice Service with the data. Once the response is received, prepare the data XML and render a PDF with it.
    To do this, you need LiveCycle Server and Reader Extensions server component.
