Web Cam Live! instalation CD !!!!

I bought in US WCL! But on the way to Europe the intalation CD for cam were broken , so now i can't install cam to my notebook . Maybe somebody knows where i can cat this CD , or maybe just download files from the CD

I JUST INSTALLED MY . I'VE IM MY FRIENDS THAT DO NOT HAVE A WEB CAM AND THEY SAY THEY CAN'T SEE ME THOUGH. I MESSAGE ON MY END READS THAT THIER SOFTWARE OR OPERATING SYSTEM MUUST BE THE SAME AS MINE IN ORDER FOR THEM TO VIEW ME. IS THIS TRUE. IF I RUN XP-HOME ON AOL-9.0 SE THEY HAVE TO BE RUNNING THE SAME IN ORDER TO VIEW MY IMAGES. I THOUGT I COULD USE THIS CAM FOR MY BUISNESS, BUT IF THE FORE MENTIONED IS TRUE, THIS WEB CAM IS USELESS TO ME. PERHAPS I INSTALLED IT WRONG ? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
PS. I CAN SEE MYSELF AND TAKE STILLS WITH THE CAM, ALL THIS PART WORKS FINE.

You would have to provide more information than you have. Are you trying to use your web cam with an Instant messenger and if so which one. Have you checked to make sure the camera is installed properly and seen by Windows. What version of Windows are you using. List everything pertinent.

Hi there! I am trying to access my web cam on my computer- I have done so in the past, I have recently installed routers on two computers in the house, and now it says i have a firewall. Long story short, i called the router co. and they said I need to get the ports for the cam in order to proceed? Does anyone know?

Creative WEB Camera Laptop Ultra conflict with Adobe lements

After the WEB camera was installed, each time it connects to the computer, the Adope Photo downloader strtas and locks up waiting to download pictures from the web camera. Enybody seen this problem ? Any suggestions ?

Web-cam is not detected yet installed

I m doing a program tat can capture movie from available video capturing devices, i hav installed web-cam, but while searching for the devices available(Detecting the device) , it is not identifing the device. And still if i m giving direct the device info to the program("vfj//0")then movie is captured from web-cam.

Need help on how to install external web cam on a macbook?????

Hi , does anyone have any idea if you can install and use an external webcam and how to install it on a macbook 13.3 in, black, 10.4.11 with intel processor. I have tried like months and months to connect my logitech web cam with no success what so ever. I been racking my brains trying to figure it out. I even called tech support by phone and they weren't really any help. They just said it can be done. I tried downloading the drivers that came in a cd with the logitech and nothing. Every time I try and use my external logitech on a site the built in one on the macbook comes on instead. There has to be a way to bypass the built on one. I know there has to be people out there using external webcams on macbooks. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't advise on your Logitech webcam, but I am using [this webcam|http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex%26%23174%3B-+1.3MPWebcam/8703094.p?id=1199495403693&skuId=8703094]. First used on a iMac G5, OSX 10.4, then later moved to a Mac Mini OSX 10.5 (and now OSX 10.6.2 on the Mini.) I got it not because it's the best webcam, but because it was one of the few that said it worked with OSX 10.4. (Other webcams I had needed 10.5.) I have tested it on my Macbook Pro (OSX 10.5 and upgraded to 10.6) and it works, but I don't normally use it there.

Web Cam Not ditect after instaling Windows 8- HP ENVY15-3040nr

I installed windows 8 for my HP ENVY15-3040nr.
installed as a press instalation (formated my HDD)
downloaded and intalled all compatible drivers and software form HP support site. But my web cam is not ditected.
At the device manager I can see two deices not installed
unknown device
USB-IF xHCI Host Controller
Please help me to solve this issue

Have you used the HP Support Assistant to search for any missing drivers or driver updates? If not, I would downloading it and running it to see if it can find anything. I would also recommend that you check and make sure all of your Windows Updates are installed. Try that and let me know if it helps find the missing drivers for you.

I have Safari. Why can't I view live web cams?

No real idea since you post no details about the webcams. Perhaps they're streaming in a format not supported by the iPad. If you can post the URL to one or more of these webcams, we can check them out and then perhaps offer suggestions.

Web cam stopped working with Windows 7 (but works fine with Ubuntu Live CD).

Since two days my web cam stopped working. I am using Windows 7 64 bit and I have a Toshiba L505d S5992. It does not show in Device Manager and Windows Update doesn't recognize it, manually I can not install it, so my best guess it was broken.
But then I tried the LiveDVD of Ubuntu 10.10 (64 bit) and it recognized immediately my web cam and the blue light came on. I have no clue what happened with Windows 7 but it's getting very frustrating.
Any help would be very welcome at this point.

Download the webcam application for your unit from this website.
Uninstall it on the programs and features then installed the downloaded webcam application.

Help!! - Live Web Cam Chat in a Captivate E-Learning Session

I really hope someone can help me with this one. I am doing an elearning session in Adobe Captivate which needs to contain a live web cam chat. I was thinking about creating a flash video to record the live web cam chat but have no idea how to do it. Unfortunately this is one skill that I haven't had the opportunity to learn and have never had to do this before. Its very new and sophisicated for me!!!!

Okay. Gotcha!
For starters, you won't want to use Captivate to capture the Web Chat. I recently tried some full motion using Captivate 4 and it's seldom going to give you anything remotely close to what you want. So you will need to investigate some other software to capture the Web Cam stuff.
Perhaps investigate another Adobe product called Visual Communicator.
Once you get something that is able to capture the Web Cam, it needs to spit back out a file in FLV or SWF output. You would then drop the FLV into Captivate. (Or present it in a frame on a web page).
Hopefully this helps a smidge.
