Web documents seem to print double from websites.

When I get a web receipt or a web map, my print is doubled from most all websites. I suspect it comes from some Firefox. How do I cure this problem?

Is the type size double what you expect it to be?
Or is it printing two of everything on the web page?
Can you give us a screenshot of what appears in the Print Preview window, it that happens there too?

Google show that you have to cut what you want to print and then paste it into a new app and print from that app.

Cannot print PDF from websites

We have about 50 PCs. We regulalry download documents from websites and print them out. But on one PC we are having problems. We can download the document and view it on screen. The problem PC does not have a local printer. Instead it is connected to two printers shared through the main server: a HP 4250 and a HP4014. We cannot print these downloaded PDFs to either printer. When we attempt to print the confirmation "bubble" does not appear about the tasktray, but he printer icon does appear. When I open the printer window it briefly dispalys a 1 for the number of print jobs. When I look at the list of jobs it says the job is spooling, then it deletes and disappears. If I view the queue from another PC it shows the job spooling and then disappearing. If I store the PDF locally it will print no problem. We have a couple of printers shared from PCs. I can print from the affected PC straight from websites to these printers no problem. Some of the documents we want to print do not have a save option. Instead we print to a virtual PDF printer, save locally, then open with Adobe Reader and it prints no problem. I have tried reinstalling the network printers, but doesn't fix the problem. We are running 10.1.4 on the affected PC. Any help would be much apprecited.

Some more information would be useful:
What application are you using to print, Preview, Adobe Reader, Acrobat, or something else?
What happens when you try to print? Can you not select it from the File menu? Does something go wrong with the Print dialog box? Is it something that happens afterwards?

Print / pdf from website

Hi Anyone,
I am trying to get my images from a dreamweaver built website
to show in the browser as a pdf, so it can be printed out easiler
by people. Do I have to put a pdf file on to web server for each
image, to be able to get a pdf to show and print from website ? Its
just that I might have a 1000 or so images that I have to make, if
there is any advise as to what I am suppose to do, I would
appreciate it. I am a beginner 2 intermediate, the website is going
to be redesigned because its too heavy in flash as it is, now doing
in dreamweaver again ( back to basics ), the site is

After a re-install, I can't print pictures from websites

After re-installing printer software for a Photosmart 7520, it won't print pictures in website. It did before a PC harddrive reload

Print PDFs from Website Without Header

Is there a way to print PDFs in safari from websites where it does not inclue the header and footer informaition with the website URL, time etc?

In Safari when you hint "Print" it opens up the print dialog. On the bottom you have the point "Print headers and footers." If you don't see the extended print options click on the arrow in the upper right corner.

Can you convert a web document to a print document?

I know most people want to do this the other way around, but I have a web document that was created for an ipad, and I now need to somehow make something fit for press from that file. I didn't create the original file, and I'm not familiar at all with the formatting, as I've only ever done very straighforward work in InDesign, for instance I can't select/edit the text at all, I wonder if it's tagged so as to link to a different part of the book, I was hoping that if I converted the document, all that might go away and I might be able to edit it?
How would you go about this task?

It sounds either like it might have been built by placing the pages from another document into this one, or the layers or objects are locked.
It's easy to check for locks: Open the layers panel and expand the layers. Look for little lock symbols. If that's what it is, either unlock them there by clicking the lock symbol, or in the Preferences, under General, uncheck Prevnet Selection of Locked Objects. This will allow you select inidividaully locked objects, but if the ntire layer is locked you'll have to deal with that in the layers panel.
If the file is really linked pages, it will show up in the Links panel.

Mg5420 won't print right from websites

Ever since I replaced the ink cartridges, the printed hasn't worked right. I've done all the test and they come back clean. I spoke to canon and they sent a new print head but I'm still having trouble. Now is manly seems to be on websites. I printed a word doc fine, but an eBay label was very light and almost like it was in a shadow font with only the outlines of the letters printed. Printing Report From Website

I have an ASP.Net program I developed with Crystal Reports for . Net - Visual Studio 2008 The visitor to the website needs to be able to view and print. As of now the report shows up in the report view, but the icons for printing and exporting are just boxes. When I click them I get a 404 error stating resource is not found on server. What do I need to do?

I want to make a webpage where you can look at a yearbook (of
10 pages A4 which I have in PDF) by scrolling down (or maybe click
to next page) and where you can print the whole yearbook on
clicking on a "print"-button.
Does someone can give me tips how to do that best? Do I make

You cannot. Any local action requires that the files being
acted on are
placed locally somewhere.

Extracting SQL statement from a Webi document's data provider using SDK.

Is it possible to extract the SQL statement from an existing Webi document's data provider using BO SDK? I've searched through the class library but haven't found any information on this yet. If you have done it, could you provide some guidance. Many thanks.

I found the following Java code that might be of some help to you. I realize you are using .NET but this might push you down the right path.
The trick here is to use the Report Engine SDK to get the DataProvider of the DocumentInstance. Then, look at the SQLDataProvider to get your SQLContainer.

I can using AirPrint from safari and email to my hp printer but do not get print as an option from the pulldown menu from the new york times and other apps. How can I print directly from these apps?

I can't seem to print directly from apps like the new York times. Print is not an option from the pulldown menu. Print to my hp printer works fine from safari and email though and from some other apps. Do some apps not permit printing? That doesn't right.

Since I installed a new printer I can no longer print items from the internet.

See above question. Bought my printer at Best Buy. They said it could be a browser problem. I have Firefox. My Firefox is up to date. No problem printing documents, just cant print items from the internet.

Have you tried to see of the firmware on your printer needs to be updated? If apple happened to change the protocols for air print (I don't know if they did but anything is possible) then your printer's firmware will also need to be updated.
You can also see if a simple reboot helps. Turn your printer off then on, power cycle your router - unplug it, count to ten, plug it back in, and reboot your iPad (hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple, then let go and let it reboot)
sometimes just letting the electronics get a fresh start can help a ton.

HP 7520 Printer; I cannot delete a word document in the print queue
