Web dynpro abap - Editable alv - check row

Hi, I'm working with an editable ALV table and I'd like to check wether the row the user has just entered is valid.
IF the entered row is not valid, then it should disappear from the table.
ATM i'm trying something out in WDDOMODIFYVIEW,

please try this.
Create a node (Eg: TEST) of type 0-n and 0-1. Take attributes attr1, attr2, flag (of type BOOLEAN). Create a table and give the TEST node as datasource. Now using "Create Binding" create columns for attr1 and atte2. Now, bind the read-only property of the columns with flag attribute.
Now, in the INIT method, set the table values like this:
For examle, if you want to disable row having test2,
ls_test-attr1 = 'A'.
ls_test-attr1 = 'TEST1'.
ls_test-flag = ' '.
append ls_test to lt_test.
clear ls_test.
ls_test-attr1 = 'B'.
ls_test-attr1 = 'TEST2'.
ls_test-flag = 'X'.
append ls_test to lt_test.
clear ls_test.
ls_test-attr1 = 'C'.
ls_test-attr1 = 'TEST1'.
ls_test-flag = ' '.
append ls_test to lt_test.
clear ls_test.
lo_test->bind_table( lt_test ).
By doing this, 2nd row gets disabled.
Also, if you already have the internal table with values, based on some condition you can change the value of flag and bind the table to node.

How to fix few rows in ALV after filtering on a column in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi,
I have the following requirement:
In an ALV, when i filter based on a column, then this filter should not be applied to 2 of its rows.
These rows relate to totals. The totals are manually calculated as they require other component information too.
Along with the filter result, these total rows have to be displayed.
Let me know in case ALV in Web Dynpro ABAP supports this functionality.

ALV table does not support this functionality.
You can display the total in an another table instead.
I had the same requirement with total and had to display the totals separately.

Web Dynpro ABAP: Assigning of Conversion Exits in ALV

Hi,
We are currently developing a generic data display application using ALV technology in Web Dynpro ABAP. "Generic" means that the structure of the data is created dynamically during runtime (using RTTS) and that even the contained data elements are created dynamically without any relation to DDIC. The generation is based on metadata like field name, data type, length, decimals, conversion exit.
Our problem is that we were not able to find a way to assign the conversion exit of a data element ("column") in Web Dynpro ALV. Without this feature, no output conversions will take place since the data elements have no relation to DDIC. In the "classical" ALV, this could be easily done using method SET_EDIT_MASK of class CL_SALV_COLUMN.
Is there a similar method in WebDynpro ALV or at least an alternative approach to assign a conversion exit to a column or cell?

You can create Button in your ALV table column with below code
DATA lo_button              TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_uie_button.
CREATE OBJECT lo_button.
    CALL METHOD lv_value->if_salv_wd_column_settings~get_column
      EXPORTING
        id    = <your column name>
      RECEIVING
        value = lo_system_select_hdr.
    lo_button->set_enabled( value = abap_true ).
   lo_button->set_text( value = 'Avaliable List' ).
    lo_button->set_tooltip( value = 'Avaliable List' ).
    lo_system_select_hdr->set_cell_editor( value = lo_button ).
And for button click action,
Create a method (say SHOW_DATA( ) ) with on_click event handler.And when you click button on your ALV table, SHOW_DATA( ) method will trigger.

Changing colour based on cells for ALV in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi,
I have a requirement where I need to change the font color for some cells of ALV in Web Dynpro ABAP. I am able to change the font color for whole row or whole column but need to know how to change it based on cells.
My output should be something like the picture attached to this discussion. The coloumns/cells where I need the font colour can change for different rows, based on some internal condition.

Your requirement can be achieved as below
Create an attribute for each column of alv i.e. COLOR_F1, COLOR_F2, COLOR_F3...... COLOR_F10 of type WDY_UIE_LIBRARY_ENUM_TYPE in the context node which holds the color value
Now while configuring ALV, set the field name of semantic color for each column as below
               data lv_color_fld_name type string.
               data lo_text_view type ref to cl_salv_wd_uie_text_view.
          loop at lt_columns into ls_column.
          concatenate 'COLOR' ls_column-id into lv_color_fld_name separated by '_'.
          lo_text_view ?= ls_column-r_column->get_cell_editor( ).
          if lo_text_view is bound.
          lo_text_view->SET_SEMANTIC_COLOR_FIELDNAME( value = lv_color_fld_name ).
          endif.
          endloop.
Set the color based on the condition
         loop at lt_data into ls_data.
                    if ..... "your condition here.
                    ls_data-color_f1 = cl_wd_text_view=>e_semantic_color-NEGATIVE.
                    ls_data-color_f2 = cl_wd_text_view=>e_semantic_color-POSITIVE.

Adding rows in web dynpro ABAP Dynamic Interactive form.

Hi Experts,
I am having problem in web dynpro ABAP Dynamic Interactive form.
This is my scenario....
I have a dynamic interactive form that has buttons to add and remove rows in a table. It works fine when I preview it , but when I render, view or save it using ADS, it no longer works. The "add" button actually does instantiate more repeating rows, because I put some trace messages in to count them, but the added rows are not displayed. How do I make them visible?
In web dynpro java we write some coding in modify view to set the pdf form as dynamic

simillarly what we need to write in web dynpro ABAP.

Web Dynpro ABAP automatically inherits the theme of the NetWeaver Portal.

Excel Export issue in Web Dynpro ABAP

Hello,
We are facing a problem and need suggestion. In one of our WD Abap applications the output is displayed in an ALV table. We have a button (provided by standard ALV functions) to export Excel.
So far so good, but the issue is the amount columns display in the portal show the values as per user default settings. For example 123.456,78 whereas on export to excel it shows 12345.78
Is there some way to export to excel with the users regional settings (same as displayed on portal). So far we check, almost all columns follow the regional user default settings except the amount column. Is there someway we can fix this.
Users mention it worked before but not now. Its difficult to verify this statement now.
Kindly help how we could solve this issue.

HI,
You cannot use GUI classes and methods in web dynpro . That will dump.
Instead you can use file down load UI element or..
If you have the content in xstring format use ATTACH_FILE_TO_RESPONSE method of CL_WD_RUNTIME_SERVICES class.

NW 7.3 + iView from remote source wizard + R3 Web Dynpro ABAP, not working

Hi,
I think this forum is my last resort.
I'm running NetWeaver 7.3 Enterprise Portal and also have an existing ECC6 on backend.
Our ABAP Programmer has built some WD4A application on ECC, I'd like to made them available
on EP as ABAP WebDynpro iView.
From the document, I know the way to create ABAP WD iView is different since 7.3. I have to use "iView from remote source" to do it.
On EP side, I have made an system alias (test ok) for ECC, assigned permission, provide mapping id/pwd, and test.
On ABAP side, all webdynpro app are activated (T-code sicf, /sap/bc/webdynpro, /sap/public/bc/webdynpro...). I can even test WAS by bringing up browser and access some sample ABAP webdynpro .
However, I cannot success on "iView from remote source" wizard and it always show me "Nothing found. Check your search Criteria.".   Eventhough I use "*" as search criteria.
Anyone has the similar situation ? I even doubt that it is a placeholder of a feature , not working for now. Anyone made it work on NW 7.3 ?
More detail:
My System Alias for ECC:
      Application Host: myr3.mydomain.com
      SAP Client: 600
      SAP System ID:   DEV
      SAP System Number: 00
      Server Port: <leave it blank>
      System Type: SAP_R3
      Logon Method: UIDPW
      User Mapping Type: admin,user
      ICM Host: myr3.mydomain.com:8000
      ICM Protocol: http
      ICM URL prefix: <leave it blank>
      SAP Netweaver AS Description: <leave it blank>
All other fileds are leave it as default value
I also assign a group to have "read" and "user" permission to this system
Also assign Alias to the system.
I also create a user belong to the group, assign his system mapping an ECC user ID & PWD to it.
I tested the System alias, it is working (both WEB AS test, and R3 test)
Then I try to create an iView on EP, under a PCD folder , new->iview->iview from remote source. A wizard show up. Then I can select the ECC alias just created, and provide * as application search criteria, and then select "WEB DYNPRO ABAP" as the application type. Then "GO"
as I mentioned, it always show "Nothing Found. Check your search crieteria"
But I'm sure the web dynpro applications are activated on R3.

I feel confident about the backend R3 system because I can use the WAS URL to access the sample WD4A application, for example, I can bring up the wd4a application ui in my browser. It is purely browser and R3 stuff, no EP involved.

I also already activate all nodes and sub-nodes (in SICF Services) under /sap/bc/webdynpro as well as /sap/public/bc/webdynpro. (and some other nodes to make icon and include work)
[About the system object in EP]
I have done all kind of test on the system object (alias):
1. In EP System Administration -> Landscape Configuration, I select the system object, click "Test Connection", It shows me a Check mark, and the detail message is SOE_DEV_600 connection
2. Edit the System object, then click on "Connection Tests" page, I see two lines there, check both and click test, here is the result:
SAP Web AS Connection:
: Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Check the validity of the system ID in the system object
2. Check if the system can be retrieved
3. Check if the system object has a valid system alias
4. Check if an SAP system is defined in the system object
5. Validate the following parameters: Web AS protocol; Web AS hostname
6. Checks if the host name of the server can be resolved.
7. Pings the Web AS Ping service (works only if the service is activated on the Web AS, and only on ABAP Web AS)
8. Check HTTP/S connectivity to the defined back-end application
Results
1. The system ID is valid
2. System retrieved successfully
3. Retrieval of the default alias was successful
4. The system object represents an SAP system
5. The following parameters are valid: ICM Protocol (http) ICM Host Name (soeprdev.mydomain.com:8000)
6. The host name (soeprdev.mydomain.com) was resolved successfully
7. The Web AS ping service http://soeprdev.mydomain.com:8000/sap/bc/ping was pinged successfully
8. An HTTP/S connection to http://soeprdev.mydomain.com:8000 was obtained successfully.

Attachement Details (GOS) in Web Dynpro (ABAP)

I posted this question in the Web Dynpro ABAP forum and got no response, so I'm moving it here:
We are developing a Web Dynpro application to display PO attachment details (PDF file etc).
In the corresponding R3 application, we use FMs ARCHIVE_GET_CONNECTIONS and ARCHIV_DISPLAY_LIST_2. They work perfectly.
The Web Dynpro application uses both FMs but one of them returns an error "Screen output without connection to user". This is returned from FM K_KKB_LIST_DISPLAY which is trying to popup a screen.
So we would like to know if we are going about this correctly or if we should be using different FMs.
