    Hello We have Office Web Apps Server 2013 running with SharePoint 2013.  Users Editing a Word document with Office Web Apps, can't use "Tabs", any Word document with Tabs; the tabs are replaced with a single space.
    Has anyone noticed this?  Is this a bug?

    Yes, currently the Word Web App does not support
    Tab Keyboard shortcut for editing document content .

  • Fix many web access problems with IFS 9.0.1 on Solaris (and other OS's)...

    When the installation is done according to the documentation,
    web access does not work because the scripts that add entries to
    the jserv.properties file add duplicate references to
    wrapper.env and wrapper.classpath. Look at the jserv.properties
    file below and look at the remarked-out (#) lines of the
    duplicate references. For example, look at the references to the
    wrapper.env=LD_LIBRARY_PATH
    Oracle, please note this bug so the web access problems are
    minimized when the product is intstalled.
    Thank you,

  • Can't re-add printer after removing from eprint center - 'Web Services Problem'

    I have an HP Photosmart Premium C310 series printer (Model Number CN503B) which I have been using with ePrint for about 18 months. Aside from intermittent issues it has worked, I use a chromebook most of the time so rely on the ePrint option via Google Cloud Print.
    Last week it stopped working, with every job in the list showing as cancelled. Following advice on the forum I removed the email address of the printer from the eprint center. I thought it would then be simple to add the printer back. However, I have been unable to connect the printer to the web service so I cannot create the code I need to add the printer back.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Factory reset printer settings
    2. Factory reset network settings
    3. Restart printer and Reboot router
    3. Settings -> Network -> Wireless Setup Wizard
    4. Choose correct SSID, enter password for WPA
    5. ‘Connected to Network’
    6. Settings -> Web -> Enable Web Services
    7. ‘Accept terms’ screen -> Accept
    8. ‘Checking for product updates’ screen shows briefly then returns to 'accept terms' screen
    9. Next it makes a ping sound and shows ‘Web Services Problem’ ‘Problem connecting to Web Services Server’, it then pings again a few seconds later (which ties in with what I see in the network logs as a second attempt)
    10. Log on to printer via web interface and set IP address of printer to manual IP outside DHCP range (as advice on other threads in this forum). Check DNS setting valid (same as gateway server which all other devices on network are also using successfully as DNS)
    11. Repeat steps 6 and 7 - still same error message
    I consider myself technically savvy and have followed all advice I can find on this forum including the following:
    1. reverting to printer and network defaults
    2. rebooting router
    3. assigning static IP address to printer outside of DHCP range of router
    4. connecting to printer via web interface and setting DNS to variously: same as gateway, google DNS (8.8.8.8), ISP DNS
    5. adjusting firewall settings on router to explicitly allow and log outbound connection on the HP ports (already had a rule allowing all outbound connections)
    As mentioned, the printer worked fine with ePrint previously so I suspect the ePrint server is rejecting a request from my printer for some reason, maybe because there is old / corrupt  data on the server regarding my specific printer.
    I’m logging outbound traffic from the printer and here are what the router logs show me (printer IP replaced with 192.168.x.x below, even though it is not public )

    Looks like both are HP sites: first is 'g4t2674.houston.hp.com' and the second secure one is ‘registration-pro-site2eprint.houston.hp.com’ which sound likely to be correct. That suggests the DNS is working but that the registration server doesn’t like the request for some reason.
    I had the printer registered for Google Cloud Print but I have now deleted that also and it doesn’t seem to have made any difference (assume it just formats and forwards to the HP ePrint email anyway).
    One hack that sheds some further light is to switch off wifi on the printer and then switch on ePrint. Eprint gives an error but stays set as 'on'. When I then switch wifi back on I can then at least check for product updates (it tells me I have the latest product updates). However, web services are still a 'no go'. Network traffic for that product update exchange looks like this:

    So clearly the printer can communicate to those servers well enough to find it has the latest firmware.
    I realise this is a lot of information but hopefully some of it is helpful for troubleshooting.
    Thank you in advance for any help!

    The issue disappeared this weekend. I didn't change anything so it must have been something server side. I notice others with the same issue have also seen it resolved.
    Thanks to all those who contributed and tried to help out. Although disappointed I went for a long time without ePrint I'm glad that action was apparently taken to resolve in the end.

  • Urgent web service problem. can not find url of WSDL

    Hi all,
    I met a web service problem recently.

    2 For that reason, I tried to migrant my web service from the java application server to Tomcat5.5. I deployed my web service to folder webApps. But I don't know the WSDL url of the web service, which is the web reference for my frent-end c#.net application.
    Anybody can give me some idea?

  • InterMedia Web Agent problems...

    I have Oracle 8.1.5 and OAS 4.0.8 on an NT machine. I have installed interMedia Web Agent, having shut the OAS services down first, configured the application as described in the doc and restarted all services. I have one listener for OAS on port 90. When I try to access http://servername:90/intermedia/~admin I get a 'Page cannot be displayed' error. Why?
    I have checked all the settings within OAS and they look fine. NT is running SP5. I can access http://servername:90/ fine.
    Any help gratefully received!
    Lee

    The interMedia web agent is installed in the
    OAS home and you can see the intermedia application and cartridge in the OAS admin page?
    Have you checked the OAS wrb.log file? That is where errors should be displayed. If it is a web agent problem, check <windows_dir>wsclstch.err or log files in <OAS_HOME>/ord/web/logs.
    What do they say about starting the agent?
    Test the agent with http://host:port/intermedia/~test

  • Web.xml problem in Enterprise Manager 10g

    I got an error while deploying to Enterprise Manager 10g
    My platform: Windows XP
    OC4J 9.0.4
    Enterprise Manager 10g
    And I even have the web.xml in the correct directory. i.e
    cpd.ear
    ./META-INF/application.xml
    ./cpd-ejb.jar/WEB-INF/web.xml
    ./cpd-webapp.war/WEB-INF/web.xml
    ./cpd-webapp.war/WEB-INF/classes
    The error I get while deploying on a Enterprise Manager 10g is:
    Invalid J2EE application file specified - Jar file: :\WINNT\TEMP\jar47575.tmp is missing its standard xml descriptor located at WEB-INF/web.xml
    Incidently the *.ear file built by my fellow's machine is deploying perfectly. I've compared the directories n useful files of both the *.ears down to the very last bit n they are the same.
    I can imagine that guys with only high IQ can solve this mystery

    I have run Regedit and found two instances of z:rc204D Content\iPad Media\Pictures in keys My Pictures
    These were in

    and
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\User Shell Folders
    Redirecting these to the default MY PICTURES on the c: drive has allowed the installer to run and almost complete the process to the point of installing the files and putting an icon on the desktop.
    It now whinges with Error 1923. Service Acrobat Update Service (AdobeARMService) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.
    I am the only user of the computer and DO have full privileges. I get the same response when I run the installer program as An Administrator.
    What else does it require to allow it to install properly?

  • WRV210 web administration problem

    I have a Wireless G VPN Router with Range booster, it was configured for a classroom by someone who left the company, and now i have to recover administration without resetting configuration or flashing the firmware. This because i need to configure 200 more devices with the same problem.
    All i want is to see the web page of this device properly.
    Belive me i have tried every option Internet Explorer 7 on windows 7, Internet Explorer from Windows XP, Firefox 6, Google-Chroome.
    All with the last version of Java Runtime Environment, the resulting page is always the same.

    I tried accesing with the cd, and magicly the web page worked fine once more
    and then back to the broken page.
    At least i got to recover the web access once.

  • Typekit Web font problem - only in PC browers

    Hi. We have developed a site in Muse using a particular font from Typekit. The font in question is 'Quicksand'.
    When we publish the site onto BC for viewing, on a Mac (Safari & Chrome browsers) the font shows fine, and on iPhone/iPad too. When we view it on a PC (IE8, Chrome, Firefox) it is either very feint (Chrome) or almost totally illegible and distorted (IE8 & Firefox).
    We changed the font to another from Typekit on one particular page and the problem was solved.
    Not fancying changing all the text, menus etc etc on the whole site, any ideas what could cause one particular font to not work like this?
    Many thanks
    Nathan

    I'm having the same Muse Web Font problem. Web Fonts are beautiful in Design Mode but when in Preview Mode they're a mess. When I publish they render like in Preview Mode, a mess. They display incorrectly when viewing on a PC from any browser I've tried: IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera. They look great on my iPhone but I don't have another Mac OS device from which to view. This happens with ALL Web Fonts.
    Please see samples: 1) Muse Design Mode. 2) Muse Preview Mode. 3) Firefox PC. 4) iPhone.
    The text displayed in images 1 and 4 is crisp but in images 2 and 3 is pixelated and misshapen. Can someone explain what's causing this and offer a solution?
    Thanks,
    ~Bob

  • Setting OF LD_LIBRARY_PATH AND WEB CACHE PROBLEM [SHOWING PREVIOUS PAGE ]

    Dear Members,
    I would request for help regarding setting of LD_LIBRARY_PATH in Oracle 11G Application server and web cache problem when any single text file edit and save the result should not be changed . it shows previous page result.
    *1. Where to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH in Oracle11g Application Server (10.3.0) ? [  like in 9ias we set in opmn.xml . ] Where is opmn.xml file in oracle11g or which files contained LD_LIBRARY_PATH?*
    *2. When we created program generated report it shows correct result after some changes in file and generate again it shows first means previous page result as it is not take changes in that file. Even we tried out side made one .text file and open edit and save. It's given same result. So What is the problem regarding it?*
    It is the matter of  Browser Cache or WEB Cache. Where is the settings of it?
    *3. How to connect database (oracle11g Release 2) through OCI driver?*
    Regards
    Vipul Patel

    If you're compiling it yourself, you should set the library path then. If not, you can try something like this:
    env DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH:/path/to/add-on-libraries orca ...
    but I'm not sure it will work.

  • Unable to Launch Integration Builder: Java Web Start problem

    Hi,
    I am unable to launch the integration builder. I am using JDK 1.4.2_05. The java Web Start gives the following error:
    Unsigned application requesting unrestricted access to system
    Unsigned resource: http://<XIHostName>:50000/rep/repository/aii_util_rb.jar
    I have tried deleting the Java web start cache, and even reinstalling the JDK.
    Can someone suggest a workaround this problem ?
    thanks,
    Manish

    The Java Web Start cannot accept unsigned jars. If the jars are signed, it will ask in a dialog box if it should allow unrestricted access to this jar.
    In my case, I upgraded XI SP0 to SP4, which included updating the Adapter Core, Adapter Framework, and the XI TOOLS to SP4.
    On launching the Web start, it seemed that the jars were not getting signed. JWS cannot allow unsigned jars to the client.
    These jars are maintained in:
    \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\directory_server\javaws\directory
    I am having problems with my XI upgrade to SP4, and it is probably not signing the jars.
    Do you know why this may be happening ...
    thanks,
    Manish

  • A web developer problem while running a web application

    Hi all,
    I'm novice to J2EE.
    I've encountered a problem while accessing the deployed module in weblogic 8.1 server.
    I'm sure that the webapplication module is deployed as i saw my module in administration console & also the status said that it is deployed.
    when i access my web application by specifying the proper server and port no and context root it is showing
    either 505 - resource not found error(http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh) or 404 - not found error.( http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh)
    Now let me elaborate what i've done till now.
    My webapplication folder structure is : C:\bea\user_projects\domains\mydomain\applications\Suresh\WEB-INF\classes\Sai\ServExamp.class
    My servlet is ServExamp.java
    I created a folder called "Suresh". In that folder created another folder called "WEB-INF". In WEB-INF created a folder called "Classes".
    Since my servlet is in package "Sai", the .class file reside in \Suresh\WEB-INF\Classes\Sai\ServExamp.class
    The source code is :
    package Sai;
    import javax.servlet.*;
    import javax.servlet.http.*;
    import java.io.*;
    public class ServExamp extends HttpServlet
    public void doPost(HttpServletRequest req,HttpServletResponse res)throws IOException
    PrintWriter out=res.getWriter();
    java.util.Date today=new java.util.Date();
    out.println("<html>"+"<body>"+
    "<h1 align=center>HF\'s Chapter1 Servlet </h1>"
    +"<br>"+today+"</body>"+"</html>");
    Now i'm almost done creating a web application. Next, I constructed a simple web.xml descriptor that gives a web friendly name for my servlet, and points to the servlet. I constructed web.xml descriptor file in the WEB-INF folder (C:\bea\user_projects\domains\mydomain\applications\Suresh\WEB-INF\).
    The web.xml file source is :
    <!DOCTYPE web-app
    PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.3//EN"
    "http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd">
    <web-app>
    <display-name>Hello World Web Application</display-name>
    <description>Test Servlet</description>
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>ServExamp</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>Sai.ServExamp</servlet-class>
    </servlet>
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>ServExamp</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>/Suresh</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    </web-app>
    Now I have told Weblogic that the URI /Suresh corresponds to my servlet "Sai.ServExamp".
    My Web Application is ready to be deployed at this point. I logged onto Weblogic's admin console,
    1) clicked on deployments, then navigated to "Web Application Modules" .
    2) Clicked "Deploy new Web Application Module"
    3) Navigated to the location of your web application folder (Suresh). There was a radio button next to it indicating that I can select that folder as a valid web application.
    4) I Clicked that radio button and clicked "Target Module".
    5) It informed that my web application "Suresh" will be deployed to myServer.It asked a name for my web application deployment. By default it was "Suresh"
    I clicked Deploy.
    6) After deployment, my web application "Suresh" appeared in the "Web Application Modules" tree on the left.
    I Clicked on "Suresh"( my web application) then clicked the testing tab, then clicked the link shown there(http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2).
    It was not showing my servlet (showed a 403 error)
    Error - 403
    This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other response is applicable.
    I think so it came b'coz I don't have an index.html or index.jsp page.
    7)Instead,I added my servlet on to the URL it provided.
    http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh
    It is showing these error code: Http: 505 resource not allowed
    The page cannot be displayed
    The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because the address is incorrect.
    Please try the following:
    If you typed the page address in the Address bar, check that it is entered correctly.
    Open the localhost:7001 home page and then look for links to the information you want.
    Click Search to look for information on the Internet.
    when i just type : http://localhost:7001/ -> Error 404 not found error
    it's showing
    Error 404--Not Found
    From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
    The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
    If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
    I want to run my web application & any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    with regards,
    S.SayeeNarayanan.
    Note: I even deployed my war file, which i got by execution of (jar cv0f webapp.war . ) command from the root directory of my web application i.e. Suresh
    Then executed my webapplication it is showing
    error-505 resource not allowed.

    I have this problem too.
    Although we use AIX now I have one HP N-class server
    which will not run SAPINST due to this error.
    I have the latest patches and
    I have tried three different levels of the aCC++ library
    3.50 (minimum required) 3.60 and 3.61.
    OSS tells me that this is "always" due to ulimits being too
    low. Well I set maxtsize ,maxssize and maxdsiz at the
    maximum allowable number (and ulimit to same) to no effect.

  • Web playback problems

    I'm putting together an 800x600 guided tour of our library
    using Captivate 1.01. Each slide has some bulleted explanatory text
    and a couple of web-optimized .jpg photos. Behind each slide is a
    default graphic banner .png (27k in size). The Bandwidth Analzyer
    says the movie runs at 11.7 k/s, though this is probably an
    average, and only one slide gets over 20 k/s. The total size of the
    exported .swf file is 1.6 MB (perhaps a bit large, but not
    ridiculous).
    My point is that this is simply not a resource intensive or
    overly elaborate movie in my opinion -- it's basically a glorified
    PowerPoint presentation.
    However, toward the end of slide 11 the playback quality
    rapidly degrades such that the fade animation of later slides gets
    skipped. By slide 13 or 14 the presentation is at about .5 fps.
    I'm hoping to offer this via a web browser, but neither IE or
    FF, on both Windows and Mac, can get through the movie without the
    performance problems.
    I'm at a loss for why only 11 slides of my movie should play.
    Surely there isn't a law of diminishing returns in play that says
    the longer your movie, the less quality the playback? And if there
    is, I would hope the threshold would be greater than 11 (dangerous
    Spinal Tap pun lurking...)
    Maybe something's gotten stucK somewhere? I've done a lot of
    duplicating of text captions to save time, and some duplicating of
    slides. Has anyone run into problems like those I'm describing
    after doing a lot of duplicating?
    Any ideas would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    I like it Glenn. Good design and an interesting and colorful
    approach for a virtual tour.
    First things first: A
    preloader is a specially designed Flash file that measures
    the percentage of a file that has downstreamed, and "holds" the
    beginning of play until a set percentage has reached the viewer.
    Common use is to preload a majority of the file (Captivate's
    default preloader sends down 60%) so that when the file actually
    begins to play, if there are links to later slides, they will be
    available for immediate viewing when the link is activated. For
    instance a "menu" on slide #1 that allows the user to jump forward
    to slide #30 won't be much good if slide #30 has not yet been
    downstreamed.
    To the problem: I agree that the slowdown occurs when and
    where you described. I don't have a pat answer for you because I
    see nothing that might be causing it - but of course, I'm not able
    to look "under the hood". Something is happening - I suspect the
    transition settings of one or more objects - at slide #11.
    Can you send me the CP (project) file? If so, let me know
    (first) by email, so I can give you
    a different email address with a large capacity in-box. You
    can find my normal email address inside my profile (link at left).
    Thanks!
