I am wondering if there is a tutorial about integrationg webgalleries from lightroom into an existing website.
I have been googling but not found a lot.
would like to integrate flash galleries with existing navbars etc...
any links/ posts ?

Dear all,
We have the following requirement in Web Dynpro integration with R/3
We have to update the local SQL tables based on R/3 system return values. R/3 system should call the webdynpro business method for updating local SQL Status table. In the R/3 system after purchase order is created, via user exit it should call and update some fields in the local SQL tables. To solve this problem we have thought of following solutions possibility:
1.       In R/3 system based on user exit, it calls the ABAP Proxy -> XI (SOAP Adapter) -> Web Dynpro Web Service in WebAS-> XI -> ABAP Proxy -> User exit PO continues.
2.       In R/3 system based on user exit, it calls directly web service then web service goes to user exit.
3.       In R/3 -> user exit -> ABAP Proxy JDBC Adapter -> SQL stored procedure call - > user exit.
Please give your valuable suggestion or any other options to solve above problems.
And another one question is how to create web service and deploy into WebAS through webdynpro project?. Kindly guide us to the correct document for creating webservice through webdynpro or any other related url link.

Web Client Integration with Address Validation

Hi Friends,
Iam working in CRM 5.0. Please find my requirement below:
When accounts are created with or changed with PCUI and IC Web client: display feedback from Address validation software, using the "out of the box" GUI integration as a model.
1. Display addresses validation warnings/correction feedback, if any. The user will have the option to:
     a. Accept the address validation software correction , or
     b. Bypass the warning and use the original address that they entered, or
     c. Cancel and return to account maintenance
2. Display duplicate candidates and allow the user to switch to a duplicate candidate if desired by clicking
     the candidate (instead of proceeding with account creation)
How can I check whether the Address Validation software is integrated with IC Web Client? If it is not integrated, then is there any configuration to be done to get the popups for address validation and duplicate check?

Web services integration with utilities

I'm wondering if anyone has used web services in CRM 2007 in an installation that integrates with ECC 6 with utilities (ISU).
I've looked at the web services available in CRM 2007 and see that they apply to objects such as Measuring Device but I'm wondering how well integrated it is with ISU. That is , when you call these services in CRM, will they actually call functions or web services in ISU to make sure everything stays in sync. I know the middleware does these synchonisation functions but everything is not done through replication...
Are there going to be new web services specificaly for a utilities centered CRM installation ? Do these get installed with special enhancement packages ???

How are you trying to integrate EchoSign in your website? Also, there is no specific time frame after which the API integration works. If the integration is done successfully, you should be good to go to use EchoSign.

When you install SOA suite on your server, then the installer ask you for the type of installation you require. You can choose "J2EE Server,Web Server and SOA Suite" from there.

I don't think you can federate WebI server with SAP portal.
You can use WebI report IDs and integrate with Portal.

We are getting the Oracle CRM installed as our new student management system and we would like to use the login credentials specified there in order to get the users signed up on Moodle. Ideally, the student signs on to Moodle, her credentials are sent to the CRM and then the rest of the information is pulled from Moodle's database. Has anyone tried anything similar? Could you please provide me with any pointers as to how to go about it?

Can we include any third party web component (Shockwave, Flash) into the web page created by Oracle Portal?

Exchange and Office Web Apps Integration - Wrong Url to Outlook Web App port 444

Hi,
I'm trying to setup Office Web Apps integration with Exchange 2013. Office Web Apps are working fine with SharePoint 2013 and the WAC servers are listed as in a healthy state.
When trying to open an office document from OWA I get the usual "Sorry...we ran into a problem. Please try again"
However I have noticed that the URL that OWA is passing WAC is in the format: https://exchangeservername.domain.com:444/owa/[email protected]/wopi/files...
This is the backend server address! All the internal and external urls for owa, ecp, ews etc are set to https://mail.domain.com and they all seem to be working fine. Client Access and Mailbox roles are on the same server.
If I change the url to https://mail.domain.com/owa/[email protected]/wopi/files... then the office file opens correctly in Office Web Apps
How do I correct the URL that OWA is sending Office Web Apps?

If everything works well except open document via OWA, it seems Exchange server 2013 has been configured correctly.
Please follow me to check Office Web Apps Server settings and Integration.
OWAS settings
1. Certificate:
Come from a trusted CA, include FQDN of OWAS farm in SAN field.
Exportable private key.
Friendly name must be unique within Trusted Root Certificate Authorities store.
2. Farm:
New-OfficeWebAppsFarm with following parameters
-InternalURL is the FQDN of the server that runs OWAS
-ExternalURL is the FQDN so that OWAS can be access on the Internet
-CertificateName is the friendly name of the certificate to be used for HTTPS
3. Explore this URL https://mail.domain.com/hosting/discovery
If OWAS works well, you can see a WOPI-discovery XML file in web browser.
Integration
1. Configure OWAS URL via EMS,
Set-OrganizationConfig –WACDiscoveryEndpoint https://mail.domain.com/hosting/discovery
2. WAC stands for Web Access Components.
Check App Log the 140 and 142 Event IDs for MSExchange OWA.
142 means the discovery of the OWAS was successful, 141 means something went wrong.
3. Enable OWAS.
By default, OWA Virtual Directory is already enable WAC Viewing on both public and private computer.
Please run "Get-OwaVirtualDirectory | FL *wac* "to check whether both “WacViewingOnPublicComputersEnabled” and “WacViewingOnPrivateComputersEnabled” parameter is True.
4. Method to collect logs on OWAS.
Run following command in OWAS powershell prompt:
Get-OfficeWebAppsFarm | FL *log*

CRM processes Web forms much the same as regular emails. Logically there are 3 parts for Webform to CRM integration:
a) External web application: This is the application hosting the web form page.
b) Webform to Email conversion: The external application needs to convert the web form data to an email and send to CRM.
c) Webform fact gathering service (CRM): The webform fact gathering service analyzes the email structure extracts relevant information and adds this to factbase. This information may be used during rule evaluation or for other purpose.
To facilitate processing of Web forms, the external application first converts Web-form data into standard email format (i.e., SMTP) with an XML attachment. As a convention, you must name the Web form WEBFORM.XML.
Technologies such as Sun JavaMail or Microsoft ASP.NET can perform the conversion as long as the resulting email contains an attached XML document with the following mandatory tags:
1. name of the Web form
<WEBFORM_ID> </WEBFORM_ID>
2. ID of Web form email address as defined in the CRM system; determines the u201CFromu201D email address
<WEBFORM_ACCOUNT> </WEBFORM_ACCOUNT>
3. ID of the inbound CRM email address as defined in the CRM system (transaction CRM_ERMS_OUTG_EMAIL)
<ERMS_EMAILID> </ERMS_EMAILID>
u2022 : email address of the individual customer/user
<SENDER> </SENDER>

Aperture Web galleries and own website integration - how flexible are they?

I've mainly been learning Aperture's photo management and adjustments and until today have ignored web albums and books.
Just had a play with making your own galleries for the web and I love the integration of captions. Was thinking I would have to rewrite all of these for my own website. At this stage does the Aperture webpages offer key word searching for website visitors? I'm guessing not but that would be a cool feature. I'm tired of waiting for google etc to work out searching jpeg embedded iptc data.
My main concern is how adaptable are the Aperture webpages to integration with one's existing website. The original concept of my own website was to add an image gallery with shopping cart facilities where people can click on an add to cart icon below each image. Would it be easy to integrate shopping cart facilities to the Aperture generated webpages?
I also wanted to have articles which use my images - I guess the webjournal could be used for that. Again, would it be possible to integrate a shopping cart into that as above?
One last dumb question - I exported a webgallery with one image just as an experiment and see it creates an index.html file. If I want to integrate this into my website (which already has an index file) do I just change the Aperture index file to something like imagegallery.html with an appropriate link on my own website. Or is it more complicated? And what about images I add later on and then export. Do they go to the same export folder and does changing the index file complicate this?

yes you can use an external solution like SmugMug or Zenfolio, but to be able to have a synchronised gallery that clients can make selections, that update your library in a synchronised system would be second to none.

How do we define a Web ADI integrator and Associate it with a window?

I'm on Oracle HRMS 12.1.3. I would want to export data into Excel from a form window (Navigation Path is: Leave Management > List Employees By Absence Type > Query).
When I try to export data, it says: APP-PER-289792: Before you can run a mail merge or data extraction from this window, your system administrator must define a Web ADI Integrator and associate with the window ...
I've tried looking around for articles on how to create Web ADI integrator s, but couldn't find one that explains how to associate the integrator with a given window. Any advise will be highly appreciated.
