Web form doesn't allow text entries and showing smart lists

Hi,
I am using Hyp 11.1.2 and facing 2 issues with webforms .
One of them is a cell under Account dimension should accept Text Value , which is allowing numeric only. I am able to enter text but not getting saved , showing an error msg that invalid entry..etc. Also I found everymember in outline is numeric. Even if I refreshed the Text type member with data type Text , it is still showing numeric in Outline.
Second one is even If defined a smart list on another member under Account, the cell is not showing it.
Is it relevant setting Evaluation Order or any thing else?

Checking the Essbase outline is not an option because the text information is all stored in the planning relational repository (table HSP_TEXT_CELL_VALUE) and the numerical value associated with it is stored in essbase.

Autofill web forms doesn't allow choice of email address

Using a new MacBook Pro with Lion installed. I have multiple email addresses and want to use a particular one when filling out personal data on a web form. Autofill doesn't seem to allow that option. Is there a fix for this?

Well that is nice but before all I only had to enter in the first letter and I get a list starting with the first letter and usually the person I need is right there now I have to keep typing? This is not a upgrade in my opinion. IS there an option to just list starting with the first letter? IF not there should be. Is there a way to go back to the last version?
There is an old saying in engineering, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
I get a little of programers over working a product that works great all ready don't screw with the interface unless you make it a choice for the user. Adobe does this all the time I have to relearn the interface each time a programing has a bright idea.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Pages 5 Document Endnotes doesn't allow text continuation onto next page?

For large blocks of endnote citations, Pages 5 doesn't all the text to flow down to the end of the page before going to the next. Rather it treats the endnote text area as its own section, thereby moving the entire text box to the next page. This is problematic from a formatting standpoint because it wastes page space, does anyone have a workaround or suggestions?
Example:
Citation 5 is long but I would like to keep it on the same page as Citation 4 and just let the text continue onto the next page. However Pages 5 doesn't allow me to adjust the endnote text box and just jumps to the next page. Rarely do you see endnotes arranged in this manner in high-level research reports and we can't have this.

I exported a PDF from Pages v5.2.2. This uses Apple's Quartz PDFContext, not Quark.
In Windows 7, I opened this PDF with Adobe Acrobat Reader v11.0.09. I then copied/pasted a paragraph of this PDF content into LibreOffice Writer (v4.3.2.2). Since there was Baskerville in Windows 7, this comment pasted correctly including font-size. I did not have to make any adjustments to LO to accept this text.
On Ubuntu Linux 14.04, with the latest updates, I opened the same PDF in Evince, the default PDF viewer. Adobe does not offer an Acrobat Reader download for Linux. Again, I copied and pasted a paragraph of content from the PDF viewer into LibreOffice Writer. As there was no Baskerville installed, Writer defaulted to the Liberation font, at the correct point size.
In either of these platform scenarios, there were no anomalies with sentence/paragraph newlines .vs. carriage return issues from the PDF document during copy/paste operations. These were default control-v pastes that did not use the Paste Special menu item in LibreOffice.

Apple bluetooth keyboard doesn't allow text input on iOS 8 with voice over but allows navigation using arrow keys?

Hi, upgraded to iOS 8 on my blind sister's iPad 2 but now the Apple Bluetooth keyboard doesn't seem to recognise text entry, the arrow keys still allow navigation using voiceover. Have had trouble before with the keyboard in iOS7 but have solved by reseting the iPad in settings. Any ideas? Sister is really struggling as she can't use iPad's software keyboard. Thanks

My wife is a blind user too. In iOS 8 it is fussy about Quick Nav. on or off. We have an newer iPad but be sure Quick Nav is OFF (left + right arrows together) then try text entry. Hope it helps!

When i use torbutton, it asks to install flash player plug-in but it doesn't allow to download and install it.why?

when i use torbutton in firefox for anonymity, i can not play flash player based videos like youtube and it prompts to install flash player plug-in. i checked add-on in tool menu and found out this plug-in is not installed. i tried to D/L and install it but it doesn't allow me to do it and gives D/L error. whats the problem?
it should be noted that i configured "security setting" tab in torbutton prefrences to accept plug -ins rences by unckecking "disable plug-ins during tor using".

Web form: can't get phone number to show up in email notification

Hi there,
Your phone number field name doesn't match any of the BC's phone number fields. You have name="PhoneNumber" there, but BC names are name="HomePhone" and name="CellPhone".
Try reinserting that form onto a page and submitting it.

Infopath 2010 Web Form will not run code behind or load External Lists after FormEvents_Loading added

Building a form to edit and create data in external list. The business rules do not allow for creation in an external list bound InfoPath form. (We are cascade filtering multiple drop down lists from external content type).
All works to write code behind to push new record or update record in external list. The big issue came when trying to add FormEvents_loading event to the code to capture URL parameter. I want to be able to pass the Primary Key of the record to
edit, load the data into the form and allow editing and submit. I have tested by manually entering the data and the form works. The form will no longer load data from external lists for the drop downs and shows an error stating "The custom code
in the form cannot be run. This functionality may be deactivated
on the server. For more information, contact the server farm administrator."
I think this is related to moving from the normal forms services into sandboxed code service. Is there a way to access external content types and still have form loading event capture URL parameters?

Web Analysis and Planning smart lists

Hi,
Does anyone know whether Smart Lists can be used in Web Analysis reports?
I dont think this is possible since you can only connect to an Essbase data source in Web Analysis.

Beryl and "Show window list" icon problem

If I enable "Show window list" in application switcher I get some sort of minimized application after switching between apps.
I'm using XFCE and I made my minimized windows go on my desktop and using this application switcher means I get an icon labeld "??" when I try to switch applications. If I try and close it or do anything with it - Beryl crashes.
The same thing happened when I used rox with the pinboard option.
Did anyone encounter this? and If so how do I get rid of it?!

Web form doesn't fill the whole screen

I have forms (version 6i) running on the intranet. When I run these as client/server the forms fill the whole of the physical screen; but when in the brower, the forms leave a 2 inch border on the right hand side. I want the forms to occupy the whole of the browser window, but cannot seem to be able to do this. I've tried maximizing the MDI and the form windows etc etc, but still no luck. Anyone have any advice?

Hi,
When displaying forms in web,
the size of the form that is shown in browser is based on the height and width that you specified in you html file.
The html file in this case means the one that holds your forms java applets.
eg. width=800 height=600
View source the html file when you run the forms in web.(right click to view source from the 2 inches area) and check what's your height and width.

Email form script with custom text field and drop-down menu?

And I was looking for a script that could possibly send an email to me with the info a user chooses from/puts in 1. dropdown menu 2. text field 3. another text field. I'd be awesome if the fields could have a custom background or a transparent background.The drop-down menu could have any background, but it would be awesome if it could be made with custom images !

Applet opens a form doesn't allow keyboard input

Hi,
I testing something so everything I've done is really simple. I wrote a JApplet that has a JMenubar. Selecting a menu item opens a new webpage which contains an HTML form. The form has 2 radio buttons and a text field. The problem is I can't type anything into the text field. Press keys just causes the computer to go "ding" at me.
If I open a new browser for the form the text field is accessible. I want to keep the form in the same window. What's wrong with my code?

File Sender FCC doesn't allow repetitive segments and unbounded together

File Sender FCC give me error if I use the repeatitive structure and * (Unbounded) together. Here is the recordset structure UNH,1,BGM,1,DTM,1,NAD,1,CNI,1,STS,1,RFF,*,DTM,1 for which I am getting the error "Conversion of file content to XML failed at position 0: java.lang.Exception: ERROR consistency check in recordset structure validation (line no. 12: missing structure(s) before type 'DTM' "
If I use the recordset structure UNH,1,BGM,1,DTM,1,NAD,1,CNI,1,STS,1,RFF,2,DTM,1 then I am able to parse the file. But My requirement is that I will expect variable no of RFF segments in my structure. If you guys could help me that would be great.
