Web Forms Printing problem

Hi all,
I am facing a problem in printing the webforms (Forms6i), in Netscape its printing a blank page whereas in IE its printing a black page . Everything else can be printed from the browsers successfully but only the problem is being faced when Oracle forms are being tried to printout.
Plese suggest any solution whoever have faced this problem and has set it.

Forms are not intended for printing - it is very unusual to print the form. If he needs to do this the only safety way I know is to press ALT/Print_Screen on the keyboard and to paste the result in Word.
If your user needs hardcopy, create Report and start it. Do not use run_product on the web for invoking reports - use web.show_document and reports server.
The reports can be printed on LAN and WEB much easier as Forms.

Adobe form print problem

Hi all,
I'm new to Adobe forms. I have created a new abode form and trying to execute the function module from SFP transaction itself.
after executing its asking for printer. there are three printers configured in my system. No matter which printer i selected, its throwing following error

I changed the printers device settings...That error is not coming now. But when i execute the adobe form it is not showing any output., and goes into endless processing..Can anybody suggest me what can be done?

Router Setup Web form display problem

When I open Internet Explorer 6 to my router setup page (192.168.1.1), the menus and control discriptions are missing. Internet explorer reports an error with processing some of the web scripts. I'm using: WRT54G V8. I have tried reseting the router but it does not fix the problem. I have tried using the Opera Browser but it has the same problem. Unfortunately, I can't attach a screen capture to this post. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, mm

I did some playing around and found that in "Save Mode" the setup web form displays properly. So I upgraded the router firmware in Save Mode, rebooted and now the setup form displays fine in regular mode. I should note that I also re-installed ZoneAlarms (firewall application). Thanks, mm

Form printing problem

Hi,
I have used InDesign CS6 to create a user-fillable form and brought into Acrobat X Pro to implement field tab orders, etc.
It's a basic form with a couple of radio button options, a pulldown menu, editable text fields and a Print button.
Everything exports correctly from IDCS6, opens and operates as it should in Acrobat but when I distribute the form the user can not input into the fields nor can they print.
I've actually tested on a separate computer and when I click the print button all that outputs is a blank page (no information).
I am using Mac 10.7.4.

Problem which I have faced mentioning below
The gross amount is not appearing for output type ZH00 for Language French and German for a particular printer WPL4 where as it is appearing for other printers (e.g: W1D6)
Previously the code is like this so it was not printed.
,,,,<B> Total gross amount &KOMK-FKWRT&</> ,,<B>
I have removed the space after Total gross amount and kept ,,,, in the place of space.
,,<B> Total gross amount,,,,&KOMK-FKWRT&</>
Follow the same procedure it will solve your problem.

Adobe Form Print Problem - Header is cut off without print preview

We are currently experiencing a problem when trying to print Adobe forms. We have created several forms and are experiencing the same issue with all forms. The issue occurs when we are trying to print a form. If we choose a print preview prior to printing, the form looks normal and prints fine. However, if we do a direct print (i.e. no print preview), then the top part of the form is cut off. It's almost like all of that data on the form gets shifted upward, cutting off about 1/2" to an 1" from the top of the form. We have tried printing to different printers and are ending up with the same results each time. We do not experience this issue with SAPScript.
I have searched several threads and haven't been able to find an issue quite like the one we are experiencing.
Has anyone ever exeperienced a problem like this before?
Currently using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.1.2 and are on Netweaver 7.00 EhP1.

I am going to go ahead and close this thread as I believe we have found a solution. Sai is correct that there is an issue with the design.
If anyone else runs into this problem, take a look at note 968394 that talks about differences between print preview and printing from spool. When you are in the print preview dialog box, under "Page Scaling," the default is "Shrink to printable area." So if your form went outside the margins, it would shrink to fit giving you the impression that the problem is not with the print preview rather than the form itself.
After moving the header stuff down a bit everything is printing normal both through the spool and via print preview.

Form print problem - sap v4.6c

Hi friends:
   I changed form layout in dev system client777 and active it.
   And then transfer it to dev client888 with scc1.
   With se71, I see the form script is changed to the latest one.
   But the layout remained old layout when I print it out in client888.
   Anyone have suggestions?

with SCC1 make sure u have provided latest transport requesr u have used, and check whether u r missing some thing like Standard text etc if u have changed.

Adobe Forms Printing Problem

Hi, I have 2 bosy pages and 2 master pages. B1 is attached to M1 and B2 to M2. After B1 fills in the pagination Tab I gave u201CGoto Page M2 u201C.
I want to print M2 and B2 on One condition. How can I achieve this ?
I want to know what are the events that trigger after the Page B1 fills and hits u201CGoto Page M2u201D

I don't think you can hide a Master Page; Master Pages are not directly displayed to the Users, only Body Pages are displayed;
So, try changing your code to hide the Body Page:

Web Page Print Problems

Building a website with one of the iWeb templates and when I view the page in a browser it looks great but when I go to print it, its not printing all the text. I have one page that is all text and when I go to print, it prints 4 pages...1st page has text, 2nd and 3rd have nothing and 4th has a little text. I thought maybe it was the background print option, but that didn't fix it. I also have nifty little paper text boxes in the "layered paper" theme that will not print. Is this the nature of using the iWeb layouts or have I done something wrong?

printing iweb pages is a real mess! there are three main factors that cause this mess:
- the colors/shapes
- shapes with text and text-boxes that converted to an image
- the structure itself
with usual pages that you make in rapidweaver or yourself, you know what you want to print and what not. with iweb you can draw text-boxes just everywhere and iweb has no clue what to print and what not. it usually prints all the stuff that is contained in the default text-boxes. new ones might be included, or might not be!
so, is there a solution? no! the only sub-solution would be to copy the contents of the pages that should be printed and then place a "print" link on your page that has exactly that stuff that you want printed!

Getting client printer list on Web Forms

I need to get a list of client printers using web forms to
insert into database columns. I used to use ORA_FFI to get the
print dialog on client server but it doesn't work on web forms.
I have contacted Oracle support who say it can't be done but I
suspect that it may need some sort of Java bean. Has anyone got
any ideas on the subject (maybe a solution to the problem)

Help Needed in resolving problems with Hyperion Planning Web Forms

Hi,Can anyone help me with this problem?Problem:We are running Planning 2.3.1 I have created Webform & security(application owner has the ownership).Somehow Iam getting only 7 dimensions into webform & 1 dimension is missing in that. But whereas 8 dimensions are there in Essbase.Hsp_Rates dimension is available in essbase outline but Iam unable to see that dimension in the webform selection.And using the webform Iam unable to load any data ...the form is graded/protected.Is this happening because i dont have the requirement of 1 member from each Dimension?Please someone let me know why this is happening what might be the reason.ThanksUser

Hi,The dimension Hsp_Rates is a hide dimension used by Planning to store the exchange rates for the differentes exchanges.All the standard information is stored on HSP_InputValue member (in this dimension).When you create a web form, Planning automatically asign this member (but don't show it).Probably you can't load data because you are selected on Version dimension a Standard Botton Up version, and you only can load data on level 0 members in this type of version.If you want to load data on upper level members, then you need to create a Standard Target version (in the Version dimension) and select it in the form.Please, advice if this solve your problemClaudioBPD Solutions

Is it possible to print web form data once it is added to the CRM cases.

I have a client who needs to have volunteers fill out a one page activity report. I can create the a Web form to acquire the data. The data will then be stored in the CRM as a case. What I am having trouble with, is how to easily track the cases and, more importantly, print them out individually in a readable format. Is this possible?

The only option is to create a customer/case report which will output the data in a spreadsheet. Then you can pull the individual records accordingly and print.
I do not see any other workaround to this at this stage.

When I print from the web, the print is blue ink, which I don't want and can't read. When I print from Word, it is black ink. What is the problem?

If I print an article downloaded from the web, it prints in blue ink, which is almost not readable. If I download it to Word or print a document stand alone in Word, it prints in black ink, which is what I want. I didn't have this problem before I upgraded to the new Firefox. Please help.

I should also point out that when I connect my iPhone, it DOESN'T appear as a connected drive on the desktop. Not sure how this can be so, since the iPhone also has a drive and also functions as an iPod if I want it to. I must have changed some setting to achieve this non-appearance, but don't remember what I must have done.

Problem Transporting Web Forms

Hi Experts,
I have been trying to export the custom web forms from POC server to Dev server. But then i'm not able to find the web form in the target server..
For exporting i followed this method..
Content Administration  KM Content  Export  Pending Exports in the portal... n then i include the xml, xsl and even the whole of wpcconfig folder in the package .
And on importing i fnd the xml and xsl file in the styles and types folder of 'etc'.. but then i do not find the web form .
Can somebody please help me in this matter.

I exported all the config changes that i had made while creating the web forms . But when i import the config changes on the tranget system .. it says.. there are errors..

Web form for tag_tellafriend problem

I placed the tag_tellafriend into my email marketing campaings.
and placed the web form on my web site.
when linking to the form can't enter the first two fields:
-Your Name
-Your email address
and also the subjet line does not fill in from the campaign.

Thanks Mario - I sent a real campaign to myself
it populated the "your name" and "your emial address" fields
it did not populate the "subject" field.
I do have the subject field populated in the dashboard "e mail marketing" both places.
What do you think?
