Web Gallery created in Bridge not displaying first picture correctly on a Unix server

Hi Guys, Am really stumped by a problem that has surfaced after moving from a Windows web hosting server to a Unix hosting platform. The Web Galleries created in both Bridge CS4 and CS6 display and operate as expected on the Windows server. However, having moved to a Unix hosting platform, I observe an odd behavior when going to the Web Gallery page. When the gallery loads, it displays the first image offset. This is always the top left hand quarter of the picture, offset to show in the bottom left hand corner, leaving the top left and right quarters and the bottom left quarter black (I use quarters to best describe the situation, though it really does seem as if the view port of the Gallery is indeed quartered for this first image).
If I click on the second image in the series, it appears full size. The same happens if I click on the "Play" button. If I return to the first image manually, it displays full size.
The phenomenon is apparent in Firefox 19.0.2, IE9, Opera and Chrome, all of the latest build.
Can anyone throw some light on why this phenomenon is occurring and better still, suggest a cure?

Hi Guys, This turned out to be a Unix server-side issue. Apparently the compression software being used by the ISP on this server was in some way incompatible. The ISP turned the compression off and the problem was cured.

Web Gallery created in Aperture not listed

I created three new web galleries using Aperture 2 and they are not showing up when I try to add them to my iweb page. When I log on to my .mac account they are only visible when I choose my gallery. They are not listed out with the ones I created in iPhoto. What am I doing wrong?

Know of no one that has had it work and have never seen an answer.

Called tech support. They had no idea.
You see the file on the Idisk, but they are not recognized by Iweb.

Like the title says. I have created a flash web site. I have also created a portfolio in adobe bridge. Is there any way for me to put the web gallery I created in adobe bridge into my Flash site?

Pretty much, I'd like to create one from scratch...

This was discontinuted in CS5 howerver you could migrate that plugin to CS5. I don`t know if you can do this with CS6.
To my knowledge they only provided a revised Contact sheet II script for CS6. In my opinion a very bad idea because they should have put all efforts and resources to enhance the Output Module PDF contact sheet that has far more options.
Still not using web galleries but the goal for web gallery was also to use this in the Adobe Output Module, maybe that provides you the options you want?

Web gallery built in Bridge, then linked from DW site, doesn't work

Hi,
Using the "web gallery" function in Adobe Bridge CS5, I created an HTML-based web gallery and uploaded it directly from Bridge to here on the web:

I can view this in Safari 5.0.5 on my Mac, but it's a blank white page in Firefox and in Chrome. Even worse, my client gets a blank page in every Windows-based browser.
If I can get it to work at all, my intent is to add it within a frame on this page:

Again, it seems to work in Safari (but only after a refresh on an iPad), but doesn't work anywhere else.
The web gallery function in Bridge would be ideal to use for this gallery, but it just doesn't work and I have no idea how to fix it. Any help or insights on what's wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Then come back here and we will look for problems. But very hard to correct anything until you get the foundation right.

I want to customize the "HTML Gallery" web gallery template in Bridge CS6.

Using Win7 64bit + PS CS6 64 bit ext on a 16GB PC. In which folder do I find the web gallery templates for Bridge CS6? Is there info available on how the programming/configuration works with the info passed by Bridge - filename, contact info, copyrights, description/title, email, etc.
Please point me to any sources of info.
I lke the idea of setting-up a gallery directly from bridge. Any other ideas?

My Scripts are just hacks of a Script Jeff created for the Simpleviewer Flash Web Gallery, The script support that Flash Gallery and their other Flash Galleries and the Flash WS-Slideshow Gallery so mobile devices without Flash support can not view my galleries. So some nice tablets with High resolution displays are not supported, The Scripts basically uses canned HTML for the Gallery Viewer and writes the XML file for your Images getting the information for title and description ect from the image files metadata, The Format of the gallery is also controlled in the XML file written by the script. I just hack at JavaScript and because I don't use the Bridge for selection and order it did not brother me that Jeff's code did not support or use Bridge talk It simply includes all image from a folder into the gallery it creates. It uses Photoshop Script to create the gallery tree with Thumbnails and web size images with optional visible watermark text stamp, Web image size is set like fit image my scripts default size is 1600x1200. MobileMe Gallery from A3 Does not Display Key Photo

When I post from Aperture 3 to MobileMe, the Gallery preview pic does not display the key photo anymore. Skimming still works, but the preview pic as seen in the gallery is not displayed. Instead of the preview picture, an icon is displayed that is gray with two stacked pictures.
If I go to me.com and manage the gallery from there, I do see a preview picture but not the key photo. Instead, I see the first photo from the project.
In Aperture 2, I did not see these behaviors.
Anyone else seeing this problem?

Yes, I noticed this too.
I can skim the gallery (like an event) but then it just gives a generic thumbnail as the key photo.

Print Problem - PDF is OK on Windows 7, but OK on Windows XP with "Acrobat Reader An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem."

I have received a PDF which prints fine in Windows 7 but with Windows XP I get "Acrobat Reader An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem." and a blank piece of paper passes through the printer. I appreciate that Windows XP is no longer supported but I would like to think that the solution to this problem is not too difficult!
I have tried Acrobat 9, 10 and 11.
Any advice (apart from use Windows 7! ) would be most welcome.

If you use the same Adobe Reader versions with the same PDF on Windows 7 and XP, then I would expect the outcome to be the same.
Is this a local or online PDF?
If local, is the file really exactly the same?
If online, in what browser?

What user interface are you using?
If the tool doesn't support the SQL*Plus syntax (set serveroutput on), it probably has an option somewhere to enable DBMS Output. Not even knowing what tool you're using, it's impossible for us to guess where that option might be configured.
As others have suggested, using DBMS Output to test code is less than ideal because you're dependent on the application you're using to display it to you and not every application can or will do that. If you want to use DBMS_Output, you may need to switch to a different GUI (SQL Developer or SQL*Plus are both free utilities from Oracle). Otherwise, you'd probably be better off having the trigger do something that you can subsequently query (i.e. write a row to a log table).

I am having a similar problem on my machine. I was using Word 2008 and I created a PDF inside Word.
I am opening the file on the system itself and I am running Windows 8.1. I am using Version 11 of Reader.
When the PDF I created (my resume) attempts to open, it says: cannot find or create the file Times, Bold. Some characters may not display or print correctly.
However, the entire Reader keeps freezing and will not allow me to open or test print the document. Also, it is not displaying any of the Bold Times New Roman Print. Can you please help? Thanks.

Any ideas how to get rid of this? Realistically its not practical to contact them, nor the other 1,000,000 web site owners whom host pdf's.

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running? Have you updated 13 to 13.1 yet using an opened project's Help Menu/Updates?

What are the properties of your source file that is presenting in the project with audio but no video?
Quickest way to gain that information is from brand/model/settings of the camera that recorded the video.

What does the file's thumbnail look like in Project Assets after it is imported....thumbnail with no image (gray), thumbnail with only an audio icon
within it, or other? On the Timeline, what do you see represented in Video 1....nothing as opposed to Audio 1 where you see the audio portion of
the file?
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer along with Premiere Elements 13/13.1? Are you running the programs as
administrator?
Is your video card/graphics card driver version up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?

Error in Acrobat 8: An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly...?

Hi,
We perform the e-signing on any PDF using our custom e-signature plug-in. Once that's done, when we try re-opening the PDF in Acrobat version 8.0.0.0, we get the following error:-
"An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem"
Please note that this error occurs intermittently and is NOT observed in Acrobat 7 or 9. Also, when a plain PDF is opened (i.e. a PDF without any signature on it) then there is NO error.
Could you let me know what could be the issue here? I read it in Acrobat 8.1.3 release notes that such an error was a known bug in version 8.0.0.0 (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/407/kb407016.html), but I am not sure of its cause.

I am getting the same error even in Acrobat version 8.1.3.
Additionally, I noticed that if we click on menu ‘Advanced->Sign&Certify->Preview Document’, then we get a notification as “This document is not PDF/SigQ compliant and may display inconsistently”. On clicking ‘View report’ on that notification, the below dialog pops up. It has errors listed as:-
Code 4000 : Unrecognized PDF content. The document contains PDF content or custom content not supported by the current version of Acrobat.
Code 4002: PDF content contains erros.
However, if we sign the PDF using default adobe signature functionality and reopen that PDF, the error does NOT come and the notification also says ‘This document is PDF/SigQ compliant’.
Can anybody please suggest what could be missing in the custom sign that we apply? Is it because of any of the missing fonts or any other resources?

Well the error message is in Swedish but says: The installation program database is damaged. Please contact the Adobe support (which is a hard thing to do!!). I use Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1.

Nokia X3 not displaying any Pictures!!!

My Nokia X3 is not displaying any pictures in the viewer, it only displays a message that "No Photos To Display", can any one tell me what should I do, I even tried *#7780# and reinstalled the firmware but still the problem persists?

Hi everybody Im having the same problem... I just brought my phone yesterday...
Now when I click on the camera button.. It takes hours to display the preview...
so I remoove the preview from settings... and found that actually Image does no save in the
Memory card or any where... Problem came after updating the firmware...
Any help will be much appreciated....
