Web Gallery Template Font Size Adjustment

When I am in the Web module and using one of the templates (Flash or HTML), I would like to be able to adjust the font size of all the text used for the titles, headings, captions, etc. In general, I find the default font sizes too small, especially on the Flash templates.

Try following:
1. Test with standard Survey component. You can do this by removing assignment of enhancement set to a client.
Use transaction SM30. Open table BSPWDV_EHSET_ASG to remove assignment. Now the standard component should be picked up during survey processing in Web UI.
2. If the standard survey component is also not showing the note effect then you can check if the note is applied properly. There are some manual steps in the note which are normally overlooked.
After applying the note the font size from the 'htmlb' tags will overwritten by a fixed font size specified in a css file(htmlb_style.css).
After Applying the note please verify whether the htmlb_style.css is also imported. This can be done by the following steps
1.Goto Transaction Se80, and then go to Repository browser.
2.Select 'BSP application' from dropdown and the application as SVY_H.
3.Expand the Mime folder. Here the file 'htmlb_style.css' must be present.
4.Place the cursor on the 'htmlb_style.css' right click and select display from the menu. This would show the file with new font sizes.
3. There is one more note from where you can download the latest css file(htmlb_style.css).

Transition timings in Web Gallery templates

All,
Have to admit, I've never delved deeply here, instead building slideshows in Lightroom and iPhoto. Is there any way to speed up, slow down, etc., the transition timings in the Web Gallery templates provided? Any way in building User Templates to do it? I did a search, and found an old 2007 request on LR 1 that went unanswered.

I never usung LR1. But in LR 3 problem "there any way to speed up, slow down, etc., the transition timings" - Slide Duration in other words... this task solve very easy:
In Slideshow module panel at the right part we have tools that include:
Options
Layout
Overlays
Backdrop
Titles
and Playback - that what we need, this tool consist Slide Duration where you can choose in scroll boxes:
Sliders (the sample 4,0sec), Fades (2,5sec)
I think somthing very near (like) must be in oldeer versions of LR.

I think what you are saying is that we need those same type tools (slide duration, fading, etc.) in the Web Module. If so, then I agree. I do not see anyway to adjust the timings of the Web Module templates.

Only eleven web gallery templates? If possible, how and where can I get more templates? Thanks in advance.

The zoom-percentage that is the same as "print size" differes from Monitor to Monitor but in all versions of photoshop before the last couple of posted updaters in CS6, you could set your Screen resolution in the the Prefs. and View at Print Size would provide the correct zoom automatically.
You can either find the correct screen-resolution for your monitor by measuring the image on your screen with a physical ruler and applying some basic arithmetic to it — or you can go into Acrobat Pro (which apparently has the ability to find the correct values automatically while Photoshop apparently lacks that capability!) and copy the value from there.
I understand that this feature has been dropped from Photoshop CS6 13.0.2 and later because the Photoshop team could not make it work with Retina.
For this reason, I am not intending to install any Updaters beyond 13.0.1 until this issue is fixed.
However, a Script has been published on this Site which does provide a calculated value which you then copy/paste into the Zoom box in the bottom left corner of the Photoshop window.

I want to customize the "HTML Gallery" web gallery template in Bridge CS6.

Using Win7 64bit + PS CS6 64 bit ext on a 16GB PC. In which folder do I find the web gallery templates for Bridge CS6? Is there info available on how the programming/configuration works with the info passed by Bridge - filename, contact info, copyrights, description/title, email, etc.
Please point me to any sources of info.
I lke the idea of setting-up a gallery directly from bridge. Any other ideas?

My Scripts are just hacks of a Script Jeff created for the Simpleviewer Flash Web Gallery, The script support that Flash Gallery and their other Flash Galleries and the Flash WS-Slideshow Gallery so mobile devices without Flash support can not view my galleries. So some nice tablets with High resolution displays are not supported, The Scripts basically uses canned HTML for the Gallery Viewer and writes the XML file for your Images getting the information for title and description ect from the image files metadata, The Format of the gallery is also controlled in the XML file written by the script. I just hack at JavaScript and because I don't use the Bridge for selection and order it did not brother me that Jeff's code did not support or use Bridge talk It simply includes all image from a folder into the gallery it creates. It uses Photoshop Script to create the gallery tree with Thumbnails and web size images with optional visible watermark text stamp, Web image size is set like fit image my scripts default size is 1600x1200. This was discontinuted in CS5 howerver you could migrate that plugin to CS5. I don`t know if you can do this with CS6.
To my knowledge they only provided a revised Contact sheet II script for CS6. In my opinion a very bad idea because they should have put all efforts and resources to enhance the Output Module PDF contact sheet that has far more options.
Still not using web galleries but the goal for web gallery was also to use this in the Adobe Output Module, maybe that provides you the options you want?

Another NEW Flash Web Gallery Template!

Hey Guys,
I just finished a cool new web gallery template for Lightroom. This one allows you to select multiple images and give them a category name. The template will then separate the images out into different galleries/categories. From the template you can view all the images or just images in a particular gallery/category.

Photoshop CS4 web gallery template in Lightroom?

Hi,
I have a custom web gallery template set up in Photoshop CS4. I would like to use it in Lightroom, but it appears the Lightroom web gallery templates are in a different format (and not so customisable). Is there a way I can use my CS template in LR??

I am trying out Lightroom to see if it can replace PS for my needs. So far its not looking good! Looks like I might have to upgrade PS instead. I am preffy proficient with PS and have several custom functions set up. My web gallery integrates with my website and has been developed over a time to get it just how I like it. I can also drop in and edit the HTML to tweak it as I go.

Web Gallery - image file size

When I upload my images to the Web Gallery the file size of the image is greatly reduced. From 1.8MB file to about 450K - for the download or subscribe options. The image size is not changed, but the file appears to be more heavily compressed. Has anybody else seen this? If so, have you found a way to upload the original file size so subscribers will get your original file?

Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you got an answer to this question. I am desperately trying to figure out how to post my pictures in their ORIGINAL SIZE to my web gallery.

How edit web gallery templates?

I created four flash templates a while back. I now want to change the email I entered to a web url.
I do that but it does not stick. I don't see a save button. Any ideas?
Also, for the web url, the font is awfully small in upper right where it ends up. any way to make that bigger? thanks!

Not sure why your changes don't 'stick'. I don't use flash galleries, for a variety of reasons, but I created a small one and changed that field and the data stays there. When I navigate away from that gallery to another one and and then come back it is still set to my web url rather than the 'default'.
I expect the speed of gallery generation is controlled to a large extent by the size of your images and there isn't a lot that software changes can do to speed up that process.
The biggest changes between v1 and v3 are in the image editing capabilities. Sharpening and noise reduction are vastly improved, for example, as is fill light. When I was using v1 I did a lot of external editing in PS, with v2 still some but not nearly as much and with v3 I rarely do any external editing at all.

XSL, XML, and Metadata Names in Web Gallery Templates

I don't know exactly how to ask the question, but what I want to do is customize the information that appears below a full-size image in an HTML web gallery. For the existing HTML gallery templates, this is the area where "caption" data is placed. You can display just about anything you want there, but you are essentially limited to a single line with no ability to format spacing. I would like to be able to show mutiple lines and format the way I want, which would be pretty easy in HTML.
I have created a custom web gallery, and I have learned where in the transformer.xslt file the caption information is placed. However, I do not know what the metadata field names are, or more importantly how to place them in HTML. Does anyone here know enough about XSL to give me hand? Any kind of direction would be greatly appreciated.

Align title in bridge web gallery, change font of image names.

I have a web gallery that was created in Adobe Bridge (slide show template). I have most of the customization done that I want.... except for 2 issues:
1. I would like the gallery title to be right aligned rather than the default left. I have, in the past accomplished this... but for the life of me, I can't figure out how I did it now! Any help would be appreciated.
2. I have given the images names.... how do I change the font color of these image names that appear?

I haven't used the Bridge galley, but my first guess would be dig into the gallery's CSS. It's either in a CSS doc or in the head of the gallery pages, but it's sure to be in CSS somewhere. This would be for colors and font anyway,,, I don't know if Bridge formats wilt CSS or tables, you just have to open the documents in Dreamweaver to see.

Html web Gallery: Cell Number Size

I need to determine how to alter the size of the Cell Numbers in the :standard" Lightroom Web Gallery layout.
The numbering is too large to be clearly seen in the upper left hand corner of the cell i;e the thumbnails cover a portion of the numerals.
I'm fairly certain that my client is not going to appreciate this "feature".
How does one change the font size...either in the Lightroom Web Gallery Mode or using HTML...in Dreamweaver or otherwise?

I don't know of a way to influence the size of the cell numbers from within LR.
From outside LR, you have two options:
1) If you want to change the number for a specific web gallery you exported:
Open file [your_webgallery]\resources\css\master.css with a text editor
Find the section ".itemNumber" and change the value of "font-size:" from 40px to something smaller
2) If you want to make the change valid for new HTML web galleries you create:
Open file "\Shared\webengines\default_html.lrwebengine\resources\css\master.css" under your LR installation directory (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.2 for WinXP)
Do the same edit as above
Note that option 2 has to be repeated after every installation of (new versions) of LR.

Font size adjustment

I installed Photoshop Elements 11 on my PC with no problems. However, once I use the program the font size on all screens, e.g., Organizer and Editor, is very small. I don't know where to make the adjustment so I can view the program in at least 12 pt. fonts.

Some of the fonts are fixed and you cannot make them bigger unless you want to run at a lower resolution. On the Web you can change your browser font size. I guess this is the trade off when using a monitor with very high resolution.

HTML web gallery with 3 sizes?

Hello all! I'm getting started with the LR SDK and am currently dissecting the default_html.lrwengine gallery template. That gallery supports a grid of thumbnails which link to a detail page for each photo. I'm trying to add a second link on the detail pages which links to a full size copy of each photo (the detail page versions are not full size but instead something like "medium" resolution).
I have created photoSizes in the model for thumb, medium, and large with all the correct properties, I added a second AddPhotoPages entry to the manifest (for the full size version), and I have edited my thumbs.html (replacing grid.html), medium.html (replacing detail.html), and large.html files to link each other accordingly... however, the medium >> large link never seems to work.
Is there some trick to adding a third (or more) size to LR web galleries? Do I need to do something beyond just adding more photoSizes and more html files? Is there some funky syntax for including more than one AddPhotoPages entry in the manifest? I assumed that's what the "variant" property was for...

I've done a version of this where the large file links to the medium and it works no problem. code is based on tutorial code I've already written..
I'd need to see more code to see where the issue might be..

hi guys please do nt mind coz i am new in this software i am
trying to make the font size larger but i canot coz the font size
are disabled and i dont know how to enable it can you please do
help me and also when i make any changes to any page specialy in
phot gallery even if i make a small changes or a word changes and
try to save it does save it but there a task or background
activities copying starts which take long time to save my changes
is there any way to disable this system , and make it like wehn i
make any changes to any page and save it it should save the changes
i have made not saving or background activities

What anti virus are you using? If it is Norton, turn it off
and see if
this problem goes away.

"Save" is built into your OS, DW is just calling it. If it is
slow
when you save one file, there's something else going on.
