WEB Gui logon issue.

Dear Support,
I've activated the SAP Webgui and it is working fine. The problem is that the username and password textboxes on login screen are disabled with a message 'via popup' and when i click logon a popup ask me for the username and password. I want to enable these textboxes so that despite a popup occur user can input their information directly on logon page.
Please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance
With best regards,

  • Tidal 6.1 Web GUI performance issues

    Hello,
We are noticing significant delays in the Web GUI of Tidal 6.1.  We tried all usual suspects like hardware size, logs, etc, etc. and still no improvement in performance.  We have about 5000 jobs and our infrastructure is windows based.  Does any of you experienced this problem and how did you address it?
    thank you
    Raj

We are a small shop (about 1,000 jobs) and we were extremely slow. I worked with one of the engineers and here are the changes we made that helped us a lot - we have 1 master (8 GB), one CM (12 GB), windows based, external Oracle DB. Pretty much these changes are based on size. Hope this helps somebody!

  • Deviating info in SRM backend and SRM WEB GUI

    Hi! SRM4.0.
I have a user which in ship-to address (both default and at item level) has a value in the field "Region". This, however, is only the case via the WEB GUI, and not when running the txn. from SRM Backend (bbpsc03)! I am not able to find any BPs with this region-number either, not on any BPs in the system!... any suggestions?
If I remove the Region from default setting or item-level, it populates the number back to the field automatically.... Also checked SU01 etc.
    brgs dag sigurd

    Hi
<b>SRM is basically used for Web purpose. Lot of external sessions are created for the same user for data tarnsfer between SRM <-> ITS <-> SAP.. and so forth..
There is concept of Memory access - which is achieved by lots of function modules and lots of macros execute to transfer data requests hence and forth. Basically these are created for Web purpose.
Even if you logon to SRM GUI for say any transaction say BBPSC01, it's user interface is very complex and difficult to work while any user who is not having much knowledge of SAP can easily work on Web browser.
All the Services are created as Easy Web Transactions instead of Professional User Transactions in the case of SRM in order to access them easily via eb Browser.
I am not sure, In SRM GUI, incase it's not working might be due to any bug or some wrong OSS note / Configuration issues in your system when working via GUI.</b>
<u>Better to raise a message with SAP to get insights on this issue as well. </u>
    Hope this will help.
Please reward suitable points, incase it suits your requirements.

  • Insert Button on SAP GUI Logon Screen

    Hello,
is it possible to insert a button on the SAP GUI logon screen like the "new password" button?
We want to insert a button, with which the user can generate a new initial password, if he has forgotten his password.
    Thanks for answers

    I fully agree.

Well, I'd propose to leave the SAPGUI screen untouched but only place a comment on the logon screen (see [note 205487|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/205487]) which informs the user on a URL to a web application (BSP) which provides the desired "forgotten password" self-service functionality.
In the internet you find many examples of such "forgotten password" self-services - good ones and not so good ones. What all of them have in common is the requirement that the user has provided a valid email address or mobile number (during the account registration) which can be used for the required off-band communication. However they differentiate in the way they try to mitigate misuse: some prompt for a so-called passphrase (in most cases: the user has entered a free-text answer to a question chosen from a fixed set of predefined questions, during accoutn registration) before sending a newly created password to the email address retrieved from the user account; others generate a (random) "password change token" which they send to the email address and prompt the user to enter this "password change token" on the webpage (the account remains untouched until the correct "password change token" was entered, in most cases this is also time-restricted). I prefer the latter one.
    Cheers, Wolfgang

  • ATA190: Web GUI page options are greyed out

ATA190: Web GUI page options are greyed out and device failed registration to CM 10.5
do anyone have a resolution o this issue?

Options Greyed out issue can be due to the below Bug, which is listed as just cosmetic:
ATA190: Web GUI page options are greyed out
    CSCur53864
    Description
    Symptom:
ATA190: Web GUI page options are greyed out.
Most of the options in the Web GUI of the ATA 190 are greyed out and cannot be configured. There is no option in CUCM configuration page or the ATA190 Web GUI to unlock the configuration options.
Here is a list of a few of the pages that are greyed out and do not allow any editing:
Network Setup > Basic Setup > Internet Settings
Network Setup > Basic Setup > Time Settings
Network Setup > Advanced Settings > VLAN
Network Setup > Advanced Settings > CDP & LLDP
    Administration> Log > Log Module
    Administration> Log > Log Setting
    Administration> Log > Log Viewer
    Conditions:
ATA 190 Devices running firmware version running 1.1.0 (006)
    Workaround:
These options are not configurable and are supposed to be view only. The issue is cosmetic.
Most of the Configurable settings are available under the Voice Menu and Administrative Menu.

  • ACS IS WORKING, BUT NOT THE WEB GUI

I have an ACS ver 5.4.0.46.7 running on an applicance, ACS-1121-K9. After rebooting a Win2008-controller it stopped working and someone in my Department rebooted the ACS. It looks like the authentications are working now, but I can't Access the web gui. It responds to ping and ssh. I did a show acs-config-web-Interface and the view-Interface was disabled, I enabled it but still it isn't working:
    TBGACS02/admin# show acs-config-web-interface
    migration interface is disabled
    ucp interface is disabled
    view interface is enabled
    rest interface is disabled
    TBGACS02/admin# show application status acs
    ACS role: PRIMARY
    Process 'database'                  running
Process 'management'                running (HTTP is nonresponsive)
    Process 'runtime'                   not monitored
    Process 'adclient'                  running
    Process 'ntpd'                      running
    Process 'view-database'             running
    Process 'view-jobmanager'           Execution failed
    Process 'view-alertmanager'         running
    Process 'view-collector'            running
    Process 'view-logprocessor'         running
I could try to reboot again but I'd prefer not if possible..

As a basic troubleshooting we can restart the services or server completely. However if that doesn't help, then we can also review the size of /opt to ensure accumulation of view database is not causing this issue. From the logging perspective we can look at management and ade/ADE logs.
In Majority of cases customer reset the application configuration and restore the last good backup. This always help them resolve the issue quickly without going through the troubleshooting process.

  • Colors not displaying in WEB GUI

    Hi,
In WEB GUI, I am unable to see the colors in my ALV Grid when the fields are in editable mode where as in SAP GUI am able to. There is no problem when the fields are in non-editable mode.
Can you help me out to view the colors in my ALV Grid for the editable fields in WEB GUI?
    Thanks,
    Adithya M.

You might be out of luck, because usually there are no specific settings for the WEB GUI. And one of the problems with WEB GUI is that it doesn't support all the functionality which is offered in your standard GUI. So it is possible that this is exactly one of the scenarios WEB GUI doesn't support. That is also the reason why not all SAP transaction work in WEB GUI. We had issues with parts of TEM transactions not working via WEB GUI.

  • Fcode for Minimize/Maximize is 'ENTER' when we go thru WEB Gui

    Hi,
We are Upgrading our System from 4.6c to ECC 6.0. We are facing a strange error actually. When we go through the application in SAP GUI Mode , the screen Minimize / Maximize is working fine. But when we go through Web Gui, This scrren Minimize/Maximize is picking the Function code 'ENTER' as a result of which on every min/max , it is navigating to the next tab section (same functionality for Enter Button).  Ideally it should not navigate to the next tab section, instead should remain in the same tab.
Please suggest how to resolve this issue.
    Thanks

The reason we recommend using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for the DNS server is because they work when ISP assigned DNS servers do not. The DNS server assigned to you by your ISP is not able to resolve the domain for web services, therefore not allowing the printer to connect.
I assure you that it is with your ISP's DNS server and not the printer. If you were to take the printer back to the store and get a replacement, you would have the same issue, unless you changed the DNS. Same goes for any of our web service enabled printers.

  • ACE Web GUI Interesting Problem

I have a very strange issue with the ACE web GUI interface. I have 2 ACE's that are in Active/Standby setup with a floating management IP address for each context. Now when I try to login to the Web interface with the Floating Mgmt. IP address for one of my contexts it always takes me to the Admin context and not the one I am trying to hit. I did some testing and I found it does this with every context when you try to login to the Web interface using the floating IP address. If I use one of the real IP's of an individual ACE I am able to get logged into the correct context. Has anybody else run into this? Is there something I can do to fix it? Also I noticed that when you login to the web interface using that same floating IP address it always passes RADIUS requests as the Admin context IP address as well.

I don't see this problem with version A3(2.x)
    This was fixed with CSCso98451

  • RV042 Web Gui Port

    Dear ALL,
what port used RV042 WEB GUI ? port 80?
can we change that port?maybe become port 8080?
because we have another web server use port 80 too.
    please give me info.
    thanks & regards,

    1) Port Management > Port Settings page - not displaying correctly.
    2) VLAN Management > Interface Settings > Edit page - not displaying correctly.
I did a little experimenting concerning issues 1) and 2) above and found the following:
Issue 1)-After going to the Port Settings page of the web config tool, hit F12-Developer Tools in IE (my version is 32 bit 11.0.9600.17691) and change the document mode to emulate “edge” (in the IE developer tool toolbar).  Then refresh the Port Settings page.  I was able to make changes and apply.
Issue 2)-After going to the VLAN>Interface Settings page, selecting a port and hitting edit, once again use F12 of IE to change document mode to “edge” THEN click the green arrow in the upper left corner of the IE developer tool to continue.  Again I was able to make changes and apply.
This may be a good enough workaround to get by until Cisco issues an update.

  • Is there a way to interface Labview Web GUI with Fusion Charts?

Is there a way to interface Labview Web GUI with Fusion Charts for dynamic web presentation?
    http://www.fusioncharts.com/

I have a ballistics program which our clients can use (see attached).  Basically there is a series of Cascading Combo boxes that the user must select for Bullet Manufacturer, Caliber, and Bullet ID.  The program then goes out to the relevant data file (.CSV) and provides ballistic inputs for the selected projectile.  The user is also required to enter in additional data, such as Sight Height, LOS Range, Temp, etc..  Once all data is input, the user either hits the Calculate Button or the Tab (I'm using Event Structures and I now realize this is an issue for Web UI Builder), and the data gets passed to a MathScript which then crunches numbers and spits output to fill a table and a series of Graphs based upon the tablulated data (if so desired).
I was hoping to use Labivew for the first two parts ( Data Collection and Number Crunching) and use something like Fusion Charts for the presentation.  I tried learning Ruby on Rails.  I was successful with the Ruby part (basically the Mathscript portion) but really got hung up on the Rails section and the need for something like JSON to interface with it.  Could not find a useful source of information which really showed you how to combine the two effectively.

  • USR41 doesn't contain users from Web GUI logins

    Hi,
Transaction SM04 shows me all users that are logged in (via regular GUI and via Web GUI/Plugin GUI).
Table USR41 has all the data for the users logged in via regular GUI but does not contain the info for the users logged in via Web GUI....do you know where I can get the user info for the Web GUI users?
    Thanks!
    Tom

Yes, that's because Filler forms open locally, but browser forms are opened by Forms Services on the WFE, which means the WFEs make the data calls to the User Profile Service.  This causes all sorts of complications that I have spent many hours understanding
and overcoming.  My hint to you is to work with your SharePoint Architect who should understand the ramifications of the WFEs trying to make calls back to themselves.  Here are some things for him/her to consider:
You already checked the logs, but what did you do after that?  I know you tried some known issues, but did you track down the ACTUAL issue.  The server is telling you that it cannot communicate with the remote server.  Well, what IS
the remote server?  Did you go check?  When the web service call is made from the WFE, which WFE are you on at that time?  Where does that request go when the WFE tries to make the call?  To itself, to the other WFE, or to the load balancer?
If the load balancer, then where does it go from there?  Which device is refusing the connection?  Is it the same WFE, the other WFE, the load balancer, or something else?  What do the Event logs say in this regard?
Do calls from the WFEs back to SharePoint go through the load balancer or directly back to themselves?
    Is Kerberos configured?
How is the LoopBackCheck situation being handled?
It's highly likely that the issue is related to the bullets above.
