Web item : List of documents of an infoprovider

I have problems to display all documents of an infoprovider in a web item "list of documents" of a web template.
I chose as type of data provider : SELECTOR_DATA_PROVIDER and selected an infoprovider but I have the error message :
" The referenced data provider "DP_1" is not a query view
In the Web Application Designer, set parameter DATA_PROVIDER_REF in template TEST_COMMENTAIRE1 for Web item DOCUMENT_LIST_ITEM_1 to a valid data provider of type query view "
And the type "query view" does not respond to my needs because it is too restrictive.
Do you have an idea ?

Hi,
Goto RSA1 --> Metadata repository  click Multiprovider , select requried MP and click again .
System would generate a detaild report including report list in next screen.

    I want to store, that the "Sales -A/R - Sales Report - Open Items List"  is allways sorted by document number descending.
    I am able to sort the list, but the system doesn't store this configuration.
    Next time when I enter the list, I have to sort it again. We use B1 2007A SP01 Patch 7 Hotfix 1.
    Has any one an idea ?

    U can use Customised query Report to show ur report as per ur format and requirement. But in Normal Report u cant do this...always u have to sort there was no option in standard to save...

    It looks you want to do this on the web. The first thing to be aware of is the the button group web item is only available in SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI Web Application Designer. The BW 3.x web application designer allows you to do this with javascript. Basically you have 2 options:
    1. Multiple views and dataproviders and hiding and showing the different web items (similar to default template 0ADHOC).
    2. Use javascript. This example shows you how to show/hide key figure elements

  • Powershell Iterate through webs and lists to get Document ID Value of first item

    After some some trial and error I came up with the follow script. But it's so slow! And seems to be missing my document centre - it has about 80000 items in it.
    Two questions: Can I make this quicker? and why can't it handle getting results from the document centre?

    I thought that pointing to items[0] would literally just grab the first item.
    So what do I do here? How can I use an spquery in my code? I'm confused in the order and the exact sytax I would use the spquery.

  • How to List view web part to display document library for only users with access permission

    I am trying to accomplish this requirement but I don't know if that is possible or how to get there.  Any suggestion or advice are helpful.
    On a site collection, I have several document libraries,  with each library have unique permission to a few user or SharePoint group.
    I want to create a web part page and make that the site home page.  On this web part page, I want to create a Content Search Web Part to list the content of the document library that the logged on users have permission to see. 
    Is this possible with CSWP or is there anything easier or if it is not possible at all,  please advise.

    Based on your description, my understanding is that you want to create a Content Search Web Part to list the documents that the logged on users have access permission.
    It is feasible with CSWP, you can follow the below step:
    Edit Content Search Web Part->Change query-> Select a query: Items matching a content type (System); Restrict by app: Current site collection; Restrict by content type: Document.

    You should first check whether the folder exists in the library, if the folder not exists, then create it.

  • Open Items List contains closed Document

    Hi guys,
    Hope you can assist?  I have a client with a issue on the Open Items List, whenever she opens the report for A/P Down Payments - Not Yet Fully Applied and A/R Down Payments - Not Yet Fully Applied it brings up a list of Documents but when you view the document the status is Closed.  Some of these transactions are dated back to 2005.
    Have any of you seen this before?

  • Closed base Document appears in the open item list

    Hi all,
    While we are fully copying a base document to a target document, the base document header and rows will be closed, but it will appear in the open item list report.
    So the customer has created a Sales Order -> Delivery -> A/R Invoice.
    The Sales Order document status gives 'Closed', but still appears in the Open Item list (Sales - AR --> Sales Reports --> Open Items List).
    The customer using: SBO2005A PL22
    Further i also have looked in the SAP Notes (Note 1083366) but i can't solved it.

    In open items list of sales order,
    *select reqd. sales order,net amount,tax & total amount open in
    sales order,
    also open delivery document & compare with it,
    there must be difference in tax total/total/they
    must have changed quantity,unit price,date,changed payment terms/tax codes which causes delivery created without reference to sales order.
    That's why sales order is open.
    You can manaully close sales order by Data-->Close.

  • Display document in the Single Document web item -authorization problem.

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a problem.
    I have two types of users, users for display document in the Single
    Document web item and users who can maintain and create new comment in
    the Single Document web item.
    My problem is I can't create users that can only display documents (all
    users who can display the query can add new comment).
    We use the new 7.0 Authorization.
    The authorization object S_RS_ADMWB doesnu2019t influence about the
    activity in the Single Document web item.
    In the new authorization method, in PFCG or in RSECADMIN there is no
    functionality that we can separate between the two types of users I
    mention before.we used S_RS_COMP & S_RS_COMP1.

  • Sales Document Item List

    Hello, having trouble with the item list that comes up in the Sales Documents, have a couple of questions:
    Q1:
    When you click the circular white list icon on a Sales Order / Quote line item, it pulls up the Item List. Is it possible to have UDF's displayed in this list? Is it possible to have other fields in the item master data diplayed in this list? (i.e. Additional Identifier, Desc In Foreign Language, etc.)
    Q2:
    Is it possible to apply a filter by default (to remove unwanted item categories) and choose which column this list is sorted by when opened up by default?

    Are ;you talking about the Items List that displays all the items?  If so, you can add fields (columns) to this using form settings.  This is the icon to the right of the pencil icon.  When you are in the Items List, click that icon and you can select fields that you want to see in the Items List (you can do this for all 'lookups'.)  Also, you can filter out items by using the filter icon located to the right of the 'last' arrow icon.

  • Document web item issue when we attach a Word document

    Hi experts,
    I have created a word document in BW and i want this document to be displayed in the List of documents webitem where the users can add some more comments in the template i have added.
    But even after the document is in place the document icon is not displayed but if i keep normal plain type text document then the document icon is visible with a edit option. but this edit option is also not avaialble for Worddocument
    do i need to make some config settings.

      Web application designer is having more features than query designer.
    Some of the uses of various web items are
    Lets take one scenario If your infoprovider consisting of three dimensions such as
    Customer number,sales person number,material number
    1.Dropdown box can be used  for selection.Only one character can be assigned to drop down box.:If Customer number is assigned,it lists all customer number
    Check box,radio buttons and list box all these are based on same functionalities only some minor difference
    2.Filter panel is usen when there is thousands of records.Here selection range can be given(<u>Ex</u>:Customer number from 100 to 140)
    3.Analysis item to display final result
    4.Chart to make comparision.(<u>Ex</u>:Sales person & Quantity sold)
    5.Button group item to give some commands

  • SharePoint 2013 users only see custom list and document lists that they uniquely created

    In my first SharePoint 2013 project, I want to create a view where users can only see their own files that they generated. I think I know how to create this view when the list is associated with the 'Documents; folder. However I have created several custom
    lists where I can only see these items when I am on the navigation pane to the right and the unique custom lists are listed under 'recent'.
    Let me know if you can answer any of the following questions:
    1. When on the main SharePoint website, can lists be displayed in other locations than what I just listed? If so, where would I see these other lists?
    2. I would like to include the custom lists that are located in the 'recent' navigation pane as a view that only I can use. This would be based upon userid. If this is possible,  how would you combine the lists lists in the same view? If this is not possible,
    how would you set a view just for the lists listed under the 'recent' section?
    3. The content approval solution under versioning settings of a library to restrict the documents to only ones that the user created (and also Approver rights).  Then if they create a new view they still won't see the documents that were not created by
    them. What about custom lists that are not in the documents area but are in the 'recent' area? Would this restrict users to see only items that they created?
    4. Item level Permissions in advance settings solve this problem for the list in the document area and the custom list in the recent area? If so, how would you setup these values?

    As it turns out the, setting Item-Level Permissions in a library is fully supported with PowerShell!
    The PowerShell commands for changing this are very simple:
    $web = Get-SPWeb http://YourSite/
    $list = $web.Lists[“Your Document Library Name”]
    $list.ReadSecurity = 2
    $list.Update()
    $web.Dispose()
    Note the 3rd line which is where you determine the value for this setting using the following values:
    1 = “Read all items”
    2 = “Read items that were created by the user”
    If you wish to modify the values for Create and Edit access instead, replace .ReadSecurity with .WriteSecurity with
    the following values:
    1 = “Create and edit All items”
    2 = “Create items and edit items that were created by the user”
    4 = “None”
    For example:
    $web = Get-SPWeb http://YourSite/
    $list = $web.Lists[“Your Document Library Name”]
    $list.WriteSecurity = 2
    $list.Update()

    Why are you piping a where in the items? Do you only want to add the "test" to ones matching
    a name?
    If you have ISE installed on your server I recommend you put your code in there and debug it.
