Web Management & Builder tool

I recently moved to mac and I want to know any good softwares to build simple websites. I want to host my own website but I dont know how that works with mac.
I have been trying to find online but I haven't found one application that would work for me.
I called apple and they recommended WebObjects and I dont know the work around of the software so thats no luck.
I tried iWeb but its not working out so great.
Is there any mac solutions?

Very likely hundreds.
What do you want? A text editor to do your own HTML? My recommendation there is TextMate. Want the full monty: DreamWeaver, want template based: RapidWeaver... the possibilities are endless. So, best if you say what you want - as "build simple websites" means very different things to different people - and then we can point you in a better direction.
Also, search on MacUpdate

iWeb is not working for sending podcasts to iTunes, so I need a new web building tool. What is the closest thing to iWeb that I can use, which also supports podcasts?

There's no reason you can't go on using iWeb for this - with iWeb '08 you have to publish to a local folder (i.e. on your Mac) and then upload the contents of the folder (not the folder itself) to your hosting service: and you have to make sure you enter the new URL in the Publish information or the feed won't work properly; this done, an iWeb podcast should work fine.
Of course there is still the problem that iWeb is not supported and sooner or later a system upgrade may break it. You could look at RapidWeaver: you can make podcasts with that, though the last time I looked into that - which was admittedly some time back - I didn't feel it was ideal for this. There are lots of other podcast creation programs or services around. WordPress is OK but it may be a bit of a steep learning curve: Libsyn is an online service that seems to work reliably. Blogger writes messy feeds but does usually work. Podcast Maker used to work well - I used it myself a few years back - but it rather looks as if it's gone moribund and it may not be reliable with Lion/Mountain Lion, so you would want to check into that.

  • Tools for tracking web management tasks

Sorry this is off-topic, but this is one of the few web
development forums I can post to from my work PC due to filtering
restrictions. It's on-topic from the point of view that we are a
    Dreamweaver development team.
I am looking for input on a job tracking tool for our web
management team in a government agency. Ideally the tool would need
to run on .NET (ASPX/MS-SQL). We currently use an old clunky Lotus
tool that is being phased out.
    Our basic needs are:
    integration with LDAP/Active
    Directory
    customisable client job creating form
    with multiple file attachment
    email integration with Microsoft
    Outlook
client area to check on progress of
    jobs via a browser
    developer area to view allocated
jobs, advise progress and post replies
admin area to get reports on job
    status, progress, etc
ability to re-assign jobs based on
status - e.g. development, QA, test, publish
If anyone has found such a tool, I'd really appreciate a
    point in the right direction.
    Thanks
    Tony

    Hi Fangnaka,
You can use JWDSP2.0 + Tomcat 5.X +Jdk1.5 to develop and deploy webservice.
Better IDEA are Intellij or Eclipse for webservice code development.

  • Difference between webpublish and web gui builder

Have you worked with webpublishing tool in LABVIEW 2013 before? Do you think I can show my front panel which is designed in Labview fully on the web by this method?
Please make your advice about it. I have studied few articles about web gu builder, webpublishing and webservers but I am still not clear which one can simply satisfy my objective?
My objective is to display the graphical front panel which is designed in labview .vi exactly on the web.

Portal Servers are usually Application servers which host a
variety of Applications, Portals as a concept are single Gateway
to whole lot of information and applications(could be
distributed across systems, generally Web based ones).
    Eg. BEA Weblogic Portal
Content Management systems are applications to Capture, Manage,
version, distribute and Store content. Content can be Structured
and Unstructured. Generally I have seen when CMS word is used,
it means Web Content Management, although this is not a norm
    across the industry.
I am sure you are aware of WCMS and ECMS differences.
E.g Interwoven TeamSite, Documentum, OpenCMS etc.
CMS facilitates the ready availibility of content to be shown on
Portal in large Portals (the concept). This content could be
sourced in from various systems and distributed by the CMS.
Essentially any CMS deals with Content Creation, Content
Management proper, Content Intelligence and Content
    Distibution.
However important thing to note could be the emerging products
which are Portals and have a built in CMS tool also, like BEA
(Aqualogic in particular). There is another genere of products
like Vignette, Broadvision which are Portals and CMS both in one
(have CMS products built in but as a seperate component).

  • Errors when compiling the web service (SAP Web Service Design Tool)

After downloading and installing the SAP de Web Service Design Tool (for Crystal Reports Server) I created a connection, a simple query and was able to deploy a web services. I tested the web service with an Xcelsius dashboard within InfoView. Thereafter I created a second connection (other name but same ODBC connection / server) and created another simple query with two date(range) parameters and a group by year and month function in order to do a select count(). It executes fine, but when I try to publish the web service I get an error.
There are errors when compiling the web service.
Is does not say whatu2019s wrong or how I can solve this problem.
    Who can help me?
    Some notes:
    1) Within expert mode I used a MONTH() SQL function which does not show in the normal mode.
    2) It seams that the u2018administrationu2019 of Web Service Design Tool got u2018corruptedu2019 after only creating the two connections, queries and services mentioned above. I believe so because I could select one of two queries when I created the second service, but within the current connection I had only one query.
    Thanks for any help,
    Ron
ADDITIONAL INFO: The parameters seam to be the problem. After removing the parameters I can publish the service. But without parameters it is NO SOLOTION.

    Hello Taylan,
I think the error that you received was due to packaging issues.I placed the
UtilClass.java file under a directory called data which was present under
    the project directory.
When you want to access a java class, you can either place the compiled
class file in the WEB-INF/classes folder or you can place the java file
    under the project directory.
I have attached the sample project that I created with your files.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Regarding accesing integration builder tool for java proxy generation

    Hi Abapers,
How can I access integration builder tool to generate java proxy via SAP XI server in my ECC 5.0?
Please give me the clear idea of that.

    Hi Marinel,
The support for XSD import is limited on 10.1.2. If you can, you should consider moving to the 10.1.3 preview as the support for document style web services has improved. The other option will be to inline the schema in your WSDL.

  • Web service Assembler Tool

    Hi,
I try to do the exemple : How to process SOAP headers with JAX-RPC Web Service. the ant task use Web services Assembler tool (wsa) can any one give me more information about it ? I try to search on otn about web service assembler tool and I found any document.
does this tools used by Jdeveloper ?
    thanks,
    Lila

From the documentation mentioned above, page 149:
'The contents of the classpath are not copied to the archive. If you specify the
classpath or lib arguments to any of the *Assemble commands, you must be
sure that the classes found in the classpath are also available in the server.
You can add files to an EAR or WAR file before it is archived by the *Assemble
commands. For more information, see "Adding Files to an Archive".'
In your case, you should add a copy target before the assemble:
    <copy file="library.jar" todir="build/war/WEB-INF/>
Make sure the target directory match with your setup.

    Hello,
Do you mean you are trying to use this tool:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40760
Can you navigate to your %temp% folder and filter by date to see the log of the Build tool?
I want to know which assemblies failed to be verified.
By the way, since MSBuild is embed in Visual Studio why you want to install this again? Do you have any error about this Build Tool when you install Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate?
“Signature or catalog could not be verified” is always related to corrupt source
, please double check you have a healthy network and then try the web installer again.

  • Solution manager diagnostic tools

I was sure that I read somewhere that there was a diadnostic tool for the web dispatcher and portal,
I am really looking to get diagnostics on load balancing.
Could this be the tool "Solution manager diagnostic tools"
If yes, where can I get it?
    Thanks

Please refer note 826671. URL, https://service.sap.com/diagnostics gives you all the information about it.
SMD is used for monitoring the NetWeaver landscape (Java). It is based on WAS 6.40 (think from SP11, 12 it can support). I guess the next version of SM (now 3.2) will be probably housing SMD by default (next version of SM should be based on WAS 6.40).

  • BPMN / Case Management / CRM tools and OPA

We were looking at some BPMN / Case Management tools for a POC. In short we already own a few licenses of Lombardi and decided to put OPA behind it.
I was floored when Lombardi couldn't discover OPA web services. The problem is Lombardi's lack of support for all things standard in web services.
But what other BPMN / Case Management / CRM tools have people successfully integrated with OPA even for a POC? Specifically what tools have been integrated with the OPA 10.x web service interfaces?
Obviously Siebel works... Do people in this forum have any other experiences they can share?

Hi Paul, looks like you didn't get many takers from the crowd here.
In general the following are known to work well for consuming OPA web services:
    * Oracle Fusion Middleware (of course)
    * PeopleSoft Tools
    * Custom .NET client applications
    * Tibco
    * IBM Websphere
I'm sure there are many others that people have used in practice.
The ones listed above are certified for various versions as being capable of consuming OPA web services. See slide 10 of the system requirements presentation, here:

  • Solution manager implementation tool certification(SMI310)

    hi all,
How's the question pattern for Solution manager implementation tool certification(SMI310)
           - partial marking(old pettern) or SAP will mention the option of correct answers(new pattern)?
    regards
    jaichan

    Hi,
From my basis certification exam experience,  i learned that anyone shouldnt be thinking about examination assessment. But rather one should be concentrating on the objectives of each lesson. If you dont do handson part of each chapter exercise,  then you are in danger!
You can test yourself, by checking whether you can explain each lesson objectives/goals in detailed or not.
One more trick to get prepared well yourself well is to bringout opposite version of the sample questions after each chapter.
This will help you building up confidence on the subject matter.
I wish you will definitely qualify the certification.

  • OpenG Package Builder tool 0.1-alpha6 released

    Hello Everyone,
There is a new version of the OpenG Package
Builder tool (ogrsc_package_builder package) available. This tool
allows you to create package files that can be installed using VI Package Manager.
This release resolves an issue caused by a LabVIEW 8.x bug with handling variant coercion (see here for bug details).
See here for more info about this release.
You can download and install this library (as well as all the OpenG libraries) using VI Package Manager.
    Thank you,

    Hi Bob,
Yes, this info got burried.  Basically, it's a tool for building LabVIEW-based software products.  It is highly flexible/extensible and tries to fill the holes left by LabVIEW's built-in Application Builder.  Here are some good links to more info:
