Web page keeps refreshing every 20 or 30 seconds out the blue

I play KOC on facebook and i run scripts on that as well...suddenly out the blue today the page keeps refreshing on its on for no reason...if i disable the scripts it stops....i removed all the scripts and downloaded them again just in case something is interferring and it still continues...can yall help?

When I use facebook chat my friends say I appear offline even though I am online. The page keeps refreshing and everytime it refreshes my typed text appears 3-4 times in the chat window.

I have the latest version of firefox and this problem started a few days back. When I start chatting on fb chat right after I stop typing my friends say my status appears offline. The fb page keeps refreshing and everytime it reloads my chat window gets disturbed. Sometimes what I had typed and entered in the chat window appears in the chat box 3-4 times. Not sure if this could be a plugin problem? I have the latest version of Java and Flash player installed.

I am now on my second iPhone 6 running IOS 8.2 and am experiencing the same issue-namely that on web pages when I try and type in my name (Zoe), the web page (and Safari) freeze as soon as I type the second letter. I updated to IOS 8.2 on my iPad mini today and had the same thing happen. Help!

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

If it's happening on all sites, then assuming that it's Safari that you're using, have you tried clearing it's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (other browsers should have similar options, possibly within the actual app instead of within Settings). You could also try closing the app completely : from the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app (or whichever browser you're using) to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If it's only happening on a particular site then there may be content on that site that isn't supported on the iPad e.g. flash, java, silverlight

Today, two other users reported issues with the back-forward history list dropping down if they hovered the mouse pointer over the back or forward button -- without clicking -- and then moved the pointer downwards. One user was on a touchpad, I don't know about the other user. Are you experiencing anything like that?

could you please try to find any blank oject like rectangle/textbox, specially at the lower end of the page. Use Edit -> "Select All" to select everything on the page, it will be easier to locate it.

What version of iOS are you using? Some people were having this problem before, and it was fixed when they updated to iOS 5.

My browser pages keep refreshing on their own about every 5-10 min what can I do to stop this?

I had to replace my my hard drive. Since I replaced it and re-installed FireFox my web pages refresh on their own about every 5-10 min. Also as I am typing sometimes the cursor will jump to a prior point so I am typing in the middle of a word or whatever happens to be there. Is this a problem with my re-install or is there a setting some where that I don't know about? This happens every day.

In case anyone has this same issue ... my iPhone did stop doing this on its own. I can't tell you anything other than to keep trying. It took about two days, but it eventually allowed me to enter the information without resetting.

Info is being reposted if web page is refreshed after submission

i just finished my first web app. its a basic web app that gets input and puts it into the DB and refreshes the page with the new info on it. now, once you submit the info once, if u press refresh and click ok (this page as to repost data...) and same info gets submitted into the DB again. is there a way to keep this from happening?

I was a member of the Nielson Digital voice program and had their software installed on my laptop, it kept crashing and I had to uninstall it and re install it every time I tried to use it so I uninstalled it. Now every time I log onto my computer and open the browser, their web page questionnaire opens in a new tab to ask me why I uninstalled their software. How do I make this STOP? I have answered it twice and it still keeps coming back.

Web page keeps jumping to top when scrolling down.

When I scroll down a web page on my Macbook Air with 2 fingers, it keeps jumping up to the top again. This started yesterday, did not happen before.
Also, a rectangle of various sizes has started to appear on the page and this is most annoying.
Any help to rectify this would be appreciated.

I was not able to reproduce this issue on my Flame device running v2.1.
This may be an issue specific to Geeksphone's build of Firefox OS. Are you able to reproduce this issue with other versions of Firefox OS?

Itunes web page keeps popping up without being commanded.

I have a window 7 pc and just downloaded 10.5 ITunes. Now the itunes web page automatically pops up uncommanded. I close it and come back to my computer at a later time and the itunes page is back up again. I also use firefox.
