Web page redirecting to another page

Hi,
I have an issue of web pages redirecting to a specific web page (bad content).
This issue occurred in safari first and then when i started using google chrome and firefox the same issue arrised.
When i google something and open it in a new tab it opens into the respective web page but then after all the contents are loaded it redirects into one specific website.
I cleared all the history and tried blocking that specific page using terminal (used step to step guide through wikihow) and even cleared the DNS by using this command "sudo dscacheutil -flushcache" but nothing works.
I am using Mac Book Pro Retina and OS Y.
Please be kind enough to help as soon as possible. Its urgent i am unable to search for anything using google. But it doesn't happen when i open Facebook , youtube or my mail.

This can happen if adware is installed without your knowledge.
1. Use  free  AdwareMedic to remove adware

   Install , open,  and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button   to remove adware.
   Once done, quit AdwareMedic.
             or
   Remove the adware manually by following the “HowTo” from Apple.

2. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
    Turn those off and relaunch Safari.
    Turn those on one by one and test.

  • Redirect to another web page

    I need to redirect visitors to another an alternate web page
    if they have less than Flash Player 7. I have javascript that lets
    me display a link the the page, but I want it to happen
    automatically.
    I'm guessing I need some kind of onLoad javascript command,
    but I'm a javascript novice.
    The javascript would be something like below, but the visitor
    wouldn't have to click on the link; it would automatically go
    there.
    else { // flash is too old or we can't detect the plugin
    var alternateContent = 'Alternate HTML content should be
    placed here.<BR>'
    + 'This content requires the Adobe Flash Player. '
    + '<a href=http://www.jlf.com/>Go to John Lemmon Films
    website</a>';
    document.write(alternateContent); // insert non-flash
    content
    Thanks...

    in your else statement put:
    window.location.href = "
    http://yoururl.com/thispage.htm"

  • It is very annoying when I am at a favourite web site and Firefox will not automatically redirect to another page. It is so continuous and I have to "Allow" through the whole time I am at my favourite web sites

    # Question
    It is very annoying when I am at a favourite web site and Firefox will not automatically redirect to another page. It is so continuous and I have to "Allow" through the whole time I am at my favourite web sites.
    Here is one of those sites:
    http://conservatives4palin.com/

    You can make it automatically redirect by doing this:
    1. Go to: Tools > Options > Advanced > General
    2. Untick the 'Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page' option
    3. Click 'OK'
    '''If this was the answer you were looking for, please click 'Solved' -- Thanks.'''

  • I get a message Fire Fox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page, everytime I log into a bank or credit card web site?

    When I log into my bank or credit cards websites I get a message that says "Fire Fox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page." It says "Allow" or an X. Sometimes I can click Allow and it goes but then other times if I click Allow on it kicks me out. If I click "X" it goes but I have to click X every page. How can i stop this?

  • AFter the latest download, my e-mail service keeps getting a bar at the top "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page". I have to keep hitting the "Allow" link? How do I get rid of this?

    Ever since the last update, I'm having problem accessing my e-mail account. I keep getting an annoying bar at the top of the screen "Firebox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page." I have to keep hitting the allow button, sometimes twice. And when I do get into the accounts the bar jumps in and out every time I open a new e-mail, or delete and old one.
    How do I get rid of this. I've had this account for years, with a very reputable private e-mail provider. This is nuts.

    *Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"
    The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

  • How do I defeat or whitelist the "Firefox has blocked this site from loading another web page" function?

    Often when I click a link within a web page, a message bar appears at the top of the page saying "Firefox has blocked this site from loading another page" or something similar. This happens frequently on banking or credit card sites. This is particularly annoying because it seems to disturb the operation of the link when I have to click the "Allow" box on the message bar. I would prefer to create a whitelist for this feature so it would not interrupt my banking operations. Failing that, I would like to know how to toggle the feature on and off. Failing that, I would like to know how to defeat the function.

  • Redirect to "can't find the i-web page"/file name change

    i published a website thru mobileme (http://www.hale-o-lani-aloha.com). when i type my website address in e-mails and check the link, i sometimes got directed to a page that said "we're sorry but we can't find the i-web page you've requested..." (yes, i've checked my typing!)
    when i created my sitemap (with rage sitemap automator), i was told that the apostrophe in the file name for my first page was probably causing the problem. my file name was"hale o'lani aloha". i changed the file name for the webpage to "hale o lani aloha" and republished, redid the sitemap, etc. i now have 2 sets of files on my i-disk: one for Haleo'LaniAloha and the other for HaleoLaniAloha (i don't know why it's not "HaleoLani"). both sets of files have folders with the individual components of the site, css style sheet, java script and html files. the bad redirect site address has "/Site/HaleoLaniAloha" in the address. (when i checked the "oLani" html file on my i-disk, it opens an incomplete version of my first webpage. however, the "o'Lani" html file opens the fully functioning page). when the links work, the address has "/Site/Haleo_LaniAloha" (the new file name). so that long explanation brings me to my questions:
    - did the apostrophe in my file name truly mess things up?
    - since my fully functioning html file on i-disk has the apostrophe in it, should i rename my file with the apostrophe and delete the non-apostrophe files from my i-disk (even tho the working website has "oLani")?
    thanks for any info that can help clear up this mess!

  • How do I stop the box "This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?

    I have cleared my cookies and cache and disabled some add ons, but when in Facebook and specifically for Farmville, I keep getting the pop up box, "This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?" I have closed and opened the browser, too and it still keeps coming up.... Please help!!! Thanks.

    You can't avoid that if the website is coded that way and data needs to be send from one server to another server.

  • How do I turn off the "firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page" dialogue ?

    I am a mac user. I tried to access my bank account, but firefox 3.6.8 prevents me by telling me: "firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page". This is NOT a dialogue which I can click a button. Instead, nothing happens when I type my bank's URL while a small message appears below the URL field bar. I do not have the OPTIONS under the Tools menu (like on Windows version) and my preferences does not give me any option to turn this thing off. Can any one HELP me as I cannot have access to my bank website?

  • Redirect, open web page

    Hi,
    I'm using JSF ADF BC, I just need to know how to open some web page from backing bean and target = _blank. I have a button and this is code from backing bean:
    public String doSomething() {
    BindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
    OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("doSomething");
    operationBinding.getParamsMap().put("inputVariable","Something");
    Object result = operationBinding.execute();
    String temp = (String)result;
    String[] data = temp.split(":");
    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    Application app = context.getApplication();
    ValueBinding vb1 = app.createValueBinding("#{valueHolder.orderID}");
    vb1.setValue(context,data[1]);
    FacesMessage fm = new FacesMessage();
    fm.setSeverity(fm.SEVERITY_INFO);
    fm.setSummary("" + data[0]);
    FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addMessage(null, fm);
    if (!operationBinding.getErrors().isEmpty()) {
    return null;
    try{
    ExternalContext exContext = context.getExternalContext();
    exContext.redirect("http://bla.bla.bla:15101/xmlpserver/blabla.xdo?orderID=#{valueHolder.orderID}");
    // I JUST WANT TO OPEN THIS IN ANOTHER WINDOW (target = _blank) PLEASE HELP, HOW CAN I DO THIS
    }catch

  • Safary redirects Yahoo web page to a fake webpage..

    My Safari redirects Yahoo webpage to another fake webpage. At Google web page it also asked to execute an atualization. I have to run MacScan to delete cookies eveyday and still it is not working
    Please, is there another antivirus / spy ware program to fix the problem? Or another solution?
    Thank you,

    Please launch the Network Utility application by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search. Select the "Lookup" tab and enter "www.yahoo.com" (without the quotes) in the address field. Press return. Post the output -- the text, please, not a screenshot. Then select the "Ping" tab and do the same.

  • Redirect Current Web Pages to New Single Page

    Hello, I did a site for a couple who have now gone their separate ways. One half of the couple might want to continue the business so we don't want to take the site down completely, for now we would just like it if, when someone clicks on say the services page (if they should find it in a google search) they are redirected to a single page which explains that the business is in transition. We would like all of the pages that someone might find in a search, to be redirected to this  single, transitional page. Is this possible?
    Thanks so much,
    Annette

    You could try adding this code in your Page Properties/Metadata in your Master:
    <meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=http://www.yourdomain.com/index.html">
    The above HTML redirect code will redirect your visitors to another web page instantly. The content="0; may be changed to the number of seconds you want the browser to wait before redirecting.
