Web page with javascript login shows the login in IE8 but not Firefox 9

The web page http://epgservices.sky.com/nevermiss/ loads properly in Internet Explorer 8 and shows login details but these don't show when loaded in Firefox 9.0.1
The login is generated by Javascript as far as I can see. Java is enabled and is not being blocked by AdBlock Plus because I've turned it off to see if it made any difference but the login for this website does not show

Thank you for your reply. Earlier in my attempts to solve this problem and before contacting Firefox Help, I did start Firefox in Safe Mode after clearing the cache and the cookies from sky.com but this made no difference. The login was still not showing.
Today after trying the website on my laptop running Firefox 9.0.1 and finding the login was loading correctly I decided to uninstall Firefox but keeping my original extensions etc., and re-install Firefox from a freshly downloaded install file. It is now displaying the login correctly on that web page. I think it may have been caused by lefy-overs from previous upgrades of Firefox and the re-install cured the problem. It's amazing what problems a fresh install will solve!

I started setting up a web page with iWeb. Auto play box is checked, but music will not play when page is opened.

2) Can't get Quicktime "start/stop" slide to start and finish a section within a long piece of music (classical for example). How does one work the slide bar to do this?

Yes the audio file plays on the iWeb page when I click the play button. I even made sure it played both without the “little boxes” that surround the icon (don’t know the technical name for those), and when I click the music icon without the little boxes.
I did note that the iTunes window that appears when I open the Inspector is not highlighted until I click the music icon and those little boxes appear. Then the Start/Stop, Auto Play, Loop, and Show Movie Controller are highlighted — and work properly.
One other thing. I see that the iWeb icon I am working from says “Domain copy.sites2.” Does that have a bearing on anything?

I can scroll down web pages with my Lenovo ThinkPad X200. I could, but then I got some updates and it doesn't work. I can scroll fine with an external mouse. I just can't use the "scroll controls" on my laptop. Any ideas why? It's frustrating!

When I got my machine two years ago and loaded Firefox, I could scroll with the red button that's on the keyboard of the Lenovo ThinkPad x200. Then, a few months ago, Firefox was updated. Not sure which version. And, now I can't scroll. The keypad scroll works in MS Windows programs. It just doesn't work in Firefox. I can't get anywhere with the options so I'm stuck for now. (The scrolling works in Internet Explorer). So, I think it's something that going on with FireFox not with my computer.

In general, you are correct - but also your server does need to be properly configured (and those errors above lead me to think it may not be) to serve the file types that your uploading - but it could be something else entirely. Can you zip up your composition folder, upload it to your Creative Cloud files, set it to share, and then post a link here so I can download it? If you'd rather not share it publicly, can you PM me with a link to your composition files?

Reader does not link to a web page with a tilde in the url

We have a PDF with a link that includes a tilde character (~) in the url link. When we open the PDF in Adobe Reader X (Mac or Windows) and click on the link in the PDF, it goes into the web browser and does not find the web site. If we use Acrobat Pro 9 or X, clicking on the link will navigate to the web page correctly. Basically what I see is the Tilde character is mapped to %257E instead of staying a Tilde (~).
Has anyone else seen this issue?

Firefox 14.0.1 is NO longer showing the Norton SAfe Web icon in seacch results. The toolbar is there but NOT the safe web icon next to the URL in search results

After updating to Firefox 14.0.1 my search results NO longer show the Norton WEB Safe Icon next to each result. It worked fine before the upgrade. The Norton tool bar is there and when you click on the site the safe web report is there but NOT the icon in the search results.

Norton released updates for Firefox 14 early the same morning as the release of Firefox 14. Norton usually releases updates on the same morning as new Firefox versions. Have you updated Norton through their LiveUpdate?

All messages will only show the latest message received, but not the rest of the conversation until I send a response

I'm having some issues with my messages, text and iMessage. When I receive a message it will only show the last one sent from that person, even if they have sent me multiple texts. I am then not able to see the rest of the conversation until I send a response back. Even then the message takes longer to send than when messages is working properly. I've tried resetting and restarting the phone and it is still doing the same thing. It has done this in the past and restarting the phone usually worked, but I recently did the latest software update and it is now doing this consistently. Anyone have any similar issues or ideas to maybe try and fix it?

If you are having an issue with your iPhone only showing the most recent message of a conversation in the Messages application, and you have already tried restarting and resetting the iPhone, the next thing to try would be to back up any data on the iPhone, erase it and set it up as a new device. Javascript in my .cfm works in IE but not FireFox..

I can't figure out why this Node expand/collapse

I cannot access gmail from firefox 9 despite dealing with cookies & cache. It opens fine in IE8 but not firefox

I have tried all the google mail suggestions, including allowing www.google.com to send cookies but it makes no difference. I had problems with adblock plus blanking out the text in gmail but uninstalling this cured problem but today I can't get in at all.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Symbols show up in Internet Explorer but not Firefox, how do I fix this?

Symbols like ♡ or ★ (both of which I copy and pasted and can't see at all, they are just empty spaces without hex codes). I've installed the dejavu and symbola fonts but most symbols still do not show up. I tried checking on Internet Explorer and they show up there but not on Firefox, is there some way to fix this? Having this problem too. I just purchased a new laptop 2-3 weeks ago: Windows 7, 64-bit, currently running FF 7.0.1. Both IE9 and Chrome display with no trouble.

Most of the language tables are fine and the hex code boxes show up like they should for fonts I don't have versus just being blank. I see a TON of blank cells once I get to the Mathematical Operators table (~20% filled). Geometric Shapes is pretty sparse and there's almost nothing in Dingbats. I've verified that these are not blank in other browsers.
Is this likely a FF7 bug? My previous laptop had no issues displaying these characters and I don't think I had updated from FF6 before switching to the new laptop.

On a web page with an editable table, the delete row function no longer works (the little circle with X button)

When you try to delete a row in an editable table using the built-in functions, it no longer works. We use this function regularly and just noticed this problem today. The "create row above" and "create row below" functions work, just not the delete. The delete column button does work however, so it's a bit baffling why this one function does not work. (The pages are located on our internal server so are not publicly accessible but the functionality is built into firefox.)

Same problem here. I found out that when you have a table with only 1 row, it works fine, but when you have multiple rows, it doesn't work on any row.

P.S. I also tried this outside our CMS, by using Firebug to add a contenteditable="true" on a DIV in a normal font-end template, and that has the same problem.

Why won't Firefox open a web page with an apostrophe in the URL?

It has been more than a year since I asked the same question and the problem still exists. I can open these URLs in Safari and Chrome, but I prefer Firefox. Please see this discussion from May 2013.

Flash showing up in IE 8 but not Firefox

I have Flash project that I have placed in Dreamweaver and when I test it, it's not showing up on Firefox, but it does in IE. I'm publishing .swf, html, and .exe and .app. Is it the way I'm publishing it or is it in Dreamweaver?

Try loading any video on youtube.com , if it loads correctly then flash plugin doesn't have any problem.
Also try downlaoding newer version of flash player plugin to your firefox browser from site http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.
Also check if you have enabled javascript calls on your browser . use firebug addon/extension for firefox which helps you in debugging of javascript in HTML page.
