Web pages not loading completely or crash

6/10 time I go to open a page (usually a new tab with up 2 30tabs open) but problem still occurs with.1 tab load a page the progress bar gets.to about 98% and freezes with a blank screen. Or page starts to load but as soon as you go to scroll down rest of pages is blurry. This is on latest firefox for android beta on android 4.4.2 sony.xperia z1 6903 latest firmware 14.3.A.0.757

Hi mrx7,
Your older crash reports were caused by the Javascript JIT compiler (javascript.options.baseline.jit.*) so disabling those prefs MIGHT have solved the issues in 28. However, your new crash report is showing something related to graphics. I'm not quite sure what though.

  • Pages not loading completely

I am seeing intermittent issues with web pages not loading completely, or taking a long time to load. Some times embedded images will not load. The page will often load, but the page loading icon in chrome will carry on spinning.
This is happening periodically and at various times of the day, but has been going on for a couple of weeks. The rest of the time, my broadband speeds are fine and very snappy, as normal.
I've restarted my router (homehub 3) several times.
This doesn't seem to be a general speed problem.
Using speedtest.net, i can see that my download speed is pretty consistent at just under 20mbps.
Using pingtest.net i see no packet loss, with good ping times.
Using the BT speedtest tool, my line speed to the house is around 23mbps, and my download speed is again around 20mbps.
This is effecting all devices attached to the router, both wired and wifi... both windows PC/laptops and ipad/iphone devices.
I am not sure where to look next, and am kind of dreading a conversation with BT helpdesk.
    Any ideas?

Thanks... That's a long thread, and I am not going to pretend to understand all of it.
It seems to be similar issue, but I am seeing this any webiste, including this one, not just on a handful of specific sites.
If I understand the thread above correctly, that issue is with BT, and was apparantly fixed, although the most recent post suggests it has not been. And that if this is the same problem, I can't do anything to fix this myself, other than raise this BT?
Having played around a little more, I think I can see that this problem becomes more accute when i am jumping rapidly from one webpage to another in quick succession, until i get to the point where pages are just not loading anymore.

  • I have some web pages that loaded completely when using 3G but partially loaded using Wifi.

I have some web pages that loaded completely when using 3G but partially loaded (only text without any images ) using Wifi. Is it a site specific issue?

Can you rule out the NoScript extension as a cause of the issues on those sites? Even if you allow the main site to run scripts, often a website will spread its content over additional servers, so you may need to visit the "S" button menu a second or third time to get full functionality. (Over time, you'll recognize some the servers as being for ads, tracking, or sharing buttons and you can just let those parts of the page not work.)

  • Web Pages not loading on Mobile Devices

Browsing web pages not working on mobile devices
I have bt inifinity 2, from my laptop and mac (with same wifi connection) webpages load no problem, from my android tablet and iphone (with same wifi connection) web pages not loading. On these devices I can load youtube videos, and apps have connections/load data, it seems to be limited just to browsing webpages.
I have tried changing ssid for the 2 channels, I have tried disabling wifi on the router, and using apple time capsule as the router, everything seems to result in the same problem, you cannot browse web pages on mobile devices.
previously i had adsl from bt and didnt have these issues.

  • Pages not loading completely or at all.

This is a problem I've been having for weeks and weeks. Pages in Safari (or in IE or in Firefox) will not load completely or at all. For example, the apple.com homepage does not load at all and neither does ebay. However, the amazon homepage will load almost completely, but a few of the images don't appear.
    I've tried numerous ideas.
I've run through the power cycle. (Turning my router and cable modem off, and then restarting them.)
    I've run network diagnotics.
    I've reset Safari.
I've typed in IP addresses manually.
    We bought a new router.
It even got down to me having to reinstall the operating system. (The computer is fairly new, so there wasn't any important information on it.)
I tried calling my ISP, but they don't know what's wrong.
Apple won't speak to me because my 90 days is up, and my parents won't pay $160 for the care plan.
I'm becoming desperate at this point. I love my new iMac, but there isn't much I can do without the web.
Oh, I also can't download updates, access the iTunes music store, or anything else that requires internet acces.
We have three windows computers in the house that are all running fine on the WLAN.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Any other ideas?
Hmm, can you try logging into another user account to see if the problem is present there as well? This will confirm where the root issue is - your user area or system wide. It sounds like it wil be system wide but best to double check.
If you don't have another account you can use System Preferences -> Accounts -> [+] to create a test one (and [-] to remove it if needed).
I've typed in IP addresses manually.
Can you expand on what you mean by that? Are you referring to the DNS addresses or typing the IP address in the browsers address entry box?

  • Web page not loading correctly

This web page does not load correctly in Firefox but is okay in other browsers:
    http://forums.techguy.org/
    Can anyone help please?

Hi, I don't think it's important to understand the results, it does us no good, other than to know they've made a mistake when designing that page, perhaps just a minor one that affects several thing after that, and that some Browsers can handle or figure out that error.
A bit like I ask a browser to draw me a map of what's at 1st & James street, and there is no 1st & James, but there is a nearby 1st & Main street, & a 2nd & James, so one browser refuses to draw what's at 1st & James since there is nothing, another draws what's at 1st & Main street, & what's at 2nd & James, figuring that must be what's wanted.
Bottom line, someone caring for that site needs to fix the error, or you can use a browser that handles that problem.

  • Web page not loading with iweb

I have a problem with my web page loading.
I have set up my domain name and forwarded it to my .mac account.
but when I enter http://www.paulphillips.ca it goes to the apple/dotmac.com web site
if I enter either of these three variations it works:
    paulphillips.ca
    www.paulphillips.ca
    http://paulphillips.ca
I was wondering if a few people could try all these and let me know which ones work.
I'm not sure if it has something to do with the cache of the computer I am using or maybe it is a problem at the company that forwards my domain name.
thanks for any help you can give me.

Alternatively you could simply hyperlink to the already published pages. It's also possible to link to an external page from iWeb's navigation bar:
Create a blank internal page titled whatever you want. Then in that blank page add just an HTML Snippet with the following code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
parent.window.location = "http://www.externalsite.com/page"; // change this to your own URL
    </script>
...Once published, clicking on that new page in the navbar will immediately redirect to your external page. (Thanks to Cyclosaurus for the code).

  • Firefox web pages not loading properly

For the past few months I have been having problems with Firefox not loading some websites correctly. I have tried all the suggestions I have found when I Google the issue. I have created a new profile several times, I have constantly cleared my cache and cookies, I have uninstalled several times, and start in safe mode. All of these are just temporary fixes and the problem comes back in several hours to a day later. I can reload the web page buy holding down the sift button and then the pages load correctly. This is really starting to get frustrating and I'm seriously considering switching to IE9 or Opera, I only have the problem with Firefox. Can anyone help me?

This problem of Firefox occasionally failing to style pages, and being able to fix it for a while when you reload the page bypassing cached files (e.g., Ctrl+Shift+r), has been reported in several threads.
One possible cause is a corrupted cache. If you exit Firefox and rename its cache folder, Firefox should re-create a fresh cache. I have to research the steps for this if you want to try it.
Another potential culprit is an external program that removes files from the cache in a way that Firefox does not detect, so Firefox fails to re-request those files until you reload bypassing cache. Samsung's Support Center software (typically on newer systems) has been identified as one program that causes this problem, but there may be others.

  • Secure startup home web page not loading in FF 17.0.1

Have https://www.google.com/ set as home page.
What I get: Go to a website
What I do: click Bookmarks>Google url link
    Result: https://www.google.com
Go to a website does result in Google home page loading, but it appears to be loaded locally, not via an internet connection. Have Flagfox installed as an add-on, but this does not load until I do step 2, and only then is any activity seen in the lower left hand corner of the browser as the Google page loads.
Odd thing is, without an active internet connection, FF reports page not found error and Google is not displayed.
Note that step 3 is missing a backslash at the end of the url, even tho it is set and entered properly in Options for General>Startup. ???
A https connection should also be green if valid, and I am not seeing that on most https sites. GRC.com does show this green color, but that is the only one that seems to work for me. Clicking the lock icon does give me vendor ownership information; the others state 'unknown'. Example: "You are connected to mozilla.org which is run by (unknown) Verified by GeoTrust, Inc. Your connection to this website is encrypted to prevent eavesdropping.

You only see a green color in the Site Identity Button if websites use an Extended Validation (EV) SSL Certificate and not if a Domain Validation (DV) SSL Certificate is used like this SUMO forum site is using.
    *http://blog.mozilla.org/ux/2012/06/site-identity-ui-updates/
Firefox may be loading pages from the Firefox browsing cache if they aren't loaded from the internet.<br />
You may also have other software or a router that caches some pages.
Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Did you check that your security software isn't blocking the connection?
Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

  • Web page not loading properly after upgrade to 2.0

I have upgraded my ipod touch to 2.0 and I have had a few problems as 2.0 seems a little unstable. I'm sure Apple wll release a patch fix.
However I do have one problem with the upgrade which is annoying. I have a web page for my boys football (soccer) page which contains scrolling text within a web frame. This has always worked, but no longer does since the upgrade.
The URL is http://www.finchampsteadfc.co.uk/scriptsdir/team.php?season=0708&team=U8 if anyone has any ideas or is there a new setting I should use?
    Thanks in advance

    The source looks like this:
    <script src="/i/javascript/htmldb_html_elements.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
When I paste the below url into the browser,
    http://wmsi001370:7778/i/javascript/htmldb_html_elements.js
The javascript code is displayed fine. So it looks like the code is where is should be?
But doSubmit is not defined in that file. But there are other includes som maybe it is defined in those.

  • Pages not loading completely with JavaScript enabled

This just started in the last day or so. I have Safari extensions disabled.
When I go to the ThinkProgress.org site/blog, I'm getting an incomplete page unless I disable JavaScript. With JavaScript, I'll get the first post on the blog, but nothing else. With JavaScript off I get the site looking pretty much normal.
I get a similar problem if I go to Economist.com and click to read one of the stories. In that case, I get the story's headline, but it cuts off before the text of the article, right after a link to Tweet the story. Again, disabling JavaScript allows the page to load correctly.
I suspect some third-party service is providing a script, which broke in the last day or so, but nobody's paying attention because of the Holidays.
The problem doesn't appear to effect Chrome. Safari was upgraded to 5.0.3 in November, but this problem is more recent than that.
    Has anyone else seen this?

    Hi Jonathan,
    Go to the Economist.com site.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Advanced tab. Select the box next to: Show Develop menu in menu bar.
Now click Develop / Disable Runaway JavaScript Timer.
See if that makes a difference.
Otherwise, check Safari / Preferences - Extensions or try disabling Safari plugins, Safari / Preferences - Security.
And delete the cookies associated with those url's in Safari / Preferences - Security. Show Cookies

  • Google Web Pages not loading...

Hello everyone, I need some help, because I literally have no clue what is going on.
For some reason, Google websites are not loading on my computer. Gmail notifier does not show me my mail, google.com is not coming up, saying that it was timed out.
Every other website that I type work correctly and load.
I am at whits end and these boards seem to have very smart people.
    Thanks again.
    YoHenYo

also, just to add, i downloaded a version of AOL, to try and see if they would load on there, and the google family of website all loaded.
So what is up with Safari?

  • Web pages not loading properly

  • Web pages not loading in Safari 7.0.5

    Hi,
I have a MacBook Air 13 inch, running on OS X 10.9.4. I recently updated to the latest OS from my AppStore Updates settings. I have Safari 7.0.5. Since last one week I have been facing issues in loading webpages on Safari. I use a local internet provider and I use internet over a WIFI. I have a 4mbps speed from the provider.  The webpages such as Facebook and Youtube, gmail etc open up very quickly. But many other pages do not open at all. The progress bar on the internet url just completes 15-50 % and then the page doesn't load. I don't even get an error message.  Some webpages where I find issues are speediest.net.in or gmatclub.com etc. Even some of the apple discussions don't open.
I tried the following on my system to resolve the issue
    1. DNS Prefetching: Set the DNS Prefetching to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
    2. Tried to disable DNS Prefetching
    3. Chrome also behaves the same way
    4. Tried using Guest Login. Issue is still the same.
    5. Reset the WiFi router. Issue still the same
To make sure there is no issue with the internet provider or WiFi router, I tried on a windows laptop and strangely everything not only works fine but also at the optimum speed.
I am facing similar issues on the iOS device iPhone 4S.
Can some expert kindly help me in resolving the issue. I am not sure what is causing this.. OS Upgrade or something different.
    Thanks
    MS

    From the menu bar, select
               ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
If the Network preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advancedbutton and select the Hardware tab. Select
              Configure: Manually
    and
              MTU: Custom
Enter an MTU value of 1280.
Click OK and then Apply. Test.
You must apply the change before it takes effect.
If the issue is resolved, experiment with higher MTU values until you find the highest one that works. The higher the MTU, the better the network interface will perform.
If changing the MTU has no effect, restore the Configure setting to Automatically.

  • Safari 5 browser pages not loading and then crashes

I have reinstalled Safari 5 three times but cannot get it to load browser pages. On attempting to use any menu, the application crashes. I am now using Firefox but that is not a good substitute.

    Will Apple fix this?
It seems to be common, and no-one seems to know how to resolve.
I am pretty frustrated about it. I can't even install earlier versions of Safari as updated to 10.6 and older versions of Safari require 10.5......
Works ok on a new user account, but using Firefox now on my own.
Can someone from Apple respond to inform why this is happening to so many??
