Web pages not showing correctly

I am having trouble viewing one particular page http://www.ymcaharrisburg.org/ , but this has also happened to me with other pages while using safari. On the Y page where the boy is jumping, there should be 8-9 links to click on, but I only can see 3-1/2 links, with the "view open positions" over one of the other links. Its like their picture covers the links. I have been on this site with our old PC and it works fine. On other websites, various links have overlapped each other and I was unable to click on those also.
I'm sorry if this is a repeat question.
Thanks

it would appear that the website is coded for windows as I have the same problem you do. Send a message to their webmaster.

  • Router web page not showing correctly

    I use WRT54G wireless router. When trying to change options on my router, I go to 192.168.1.1 in a browser and put in my password. When the site opens, it resembles what it is supposed to look like but is kind of messed up. Here is a picture of what my page looks like: http://img383.imageshack.us/my.php?image=linksysbb5.png With it like that it is almost impossible to change anything. I'm not sure what's wrong. I've looked around for help on the web but most of the things I've found is people who just can't even connect to the site. By the way, I don't know if this has anything to do with it but when running the CD to hookup the modem, once it gets to the part where it asks for the password, I put it in and once the loading bar comes up I get a pop-up saying I have low or no internet connection for a second or two then goes away. It continues to load but nothing happens and eventually the password thing pops up again and it starts all over. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    I'm not sure but could the problem possibly be with the router itself. I checked many other topics of people reporting the same problems as me and the person above me. They all seem to be the same WRT54G wireless routers and all seem to have been reported at least within the last couple weeks. It seemed like the help given too never really helped the problem. I'm sure it's not the browser because I have had the same result on all that I've tried or the firewall because I have had that off while trying just like everyone else who seemed to have the problem.

  • Page not showing correctly and missing sitemap

    I have two problems involving Dreamweaver 8.02.
    First is the index page not loading correctly. But when you
    preview the page from Dreamweaver's browser everything shows fine.
    But opening up a new broswer it is all messed up. I am using
    Dreamweaver 8.02 and one of the existing templates in CSS style.
    Second issue is the missing sitemap whenever I FTP files to
    the server. I used to be able to view the remote site and the local
    files side by side. Now. the white box indicating that perspective
    is gone. Did I click on something accidentally? If so, how do I
    reset everything?
    Here's the URL:
    http://www.clarkandclarkpublishing.com/
    I have also attached the code.

  • Web pages not showing up correctly

    I performed a typical daily update to my website last night, and when I reviewed it online, the typical links do NOT shot up. They are often words that are linked to news sites. These 'hot' words do not show up now…only bluish rectangular boxes with blue question marks in them. When the page loads, it seems to NOT load most of the links. Some links still do show up and it seems that all of them work if clicked on. Any ideas?
    For reference: www.njnaturenotes.com
    This might help if others see what I am seeing.

    Rich:
    Just visited your site and everything looks as it should. There are not blue boxes and the counter is displaying all 5 digits. Clear your browser's cache and reload the page. See if that will help.

  • Web page not loading correctly

    This web page does not load correctly in Firefox but is okay in other browsers:
    http://forums.techguy.org/
    Can anyone help please?

    Hi, I don't think it's important to understand the results, it does us no good, other than to know they've made a mistake when designing that page, perhaps just a minor one that affects several thing after that, and that some Browsers can handle or figure out that error.
    A bit like I ask a browser to draw me a map of what's at 1st & James street, and there is no 1st & James, but there is a nearby 1st & Main street, & a 2nd & James, so one browser refuses to draw what's at 1st & James since there is nothing, another draws what's at 1st & Main street, & what's at 2nd & James, figuring that must be what's wanted.
    Bottom line, someone caring for that site needs to fix the error, or you can use a browser that handles that problem.

  • Iweb web page not showing full page on the web

    I have a web site that I build using iweb. I have installed intense debate for a commenting system. I have two problems. My comments are not showing up even after i approve them even though i chose to not monitor comments and when you view the page most of the comment box is missing. I have changed the height and width of the page, changed the height and width of the age layout in iweb, nothing seems to help. I have contacted there support team but they just keep saying the same things. Apparently i need to do this to get the commenting system working "looks like you don't have any JavaScript variables set. You'll need to set some postid's and URLs." That is copied directly from the email they sent me. I don't know what any of that means...And please don't say read the tutorial they offer because i cant fallow that either. This is the address of the website please look at it and tell me what you see. http://www.siobhanbyron.com/SiobhanByron/The_Outlying/TheOutlying.html

    I did. I clicked the link you left and it brought me to another discussion similar to this one and then i clicked on the link that was within that conversation (http://home.cyclosaurus.com/CyclosaurusBlog/Entries/2011/2/12Dynamically_ResizeiFrame.html) and it brought me to here (http://home.cyclosaurus.com/CyclosaurusBlog/Entries/2011/2/12Dynamically_ResizeiFrame.html) here, your blog. Which is an excellent example of what i a trying to do. I will instead try to add the code that you had already placed in the prior conversation. I wasn't sure if the code you were speaking of was in your blog or in the actual conversation...ill try that

  • Why do some web pages not display correctly in Firefox?

    When I go to certain websites the text formatting in Firefox comes out to where hyperlinks and lines of text are displayed on top of one another but the same site is formatted properly when I load it in Internet Explorer.

    You may have zoomed the page(s) by accident.<br>Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
    *<b>View > Zoom > Reset</b> (Ctrl/Command+0 (zero))
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Zoom_text_of_web_pages
    If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.
    *Tools > Options > Content Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
    Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
    *Tools > Options > Content Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
    It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.
    You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
    You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
    *Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
    *Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    *Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
    Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    *Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
    *Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
    *Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

  • Google web page not displaying correctly

    Since updating to v24.0 of Firefox (desktop) the Google web page does not display correctly.
    If I use the IE tab 2 in FF or even IE10, I see the pagwe in it's full 'glory' including the black menu bar across the top were you can select Gmail or Calendar etc etc
    However, in FF (without using the IE Tab 2) this menu bar across the top of the page does not display ... and to add insult to injury ... some web links o certain pages don't seem to want to work either !!!!
    Anyone know what's gone wrong here as I can't figure it out ?!?!?!
    Thanks

    Whenever my Google UI changes drastically, I clear all my Google cookies and usually that fixes it. Sometimes I have to do that AND restart Firefox.
    If you haven't already tried it... When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
    (1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
    Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
    Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
    orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
    On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
    If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
    (2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
    * right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    * Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
    Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

  • OHS 11gR1 web-page not showing up after creation, registration of webgate

    Hello there,
    The OHS webpage on host:7777 is not showing up after I created, registered the webgate on oam 11g console. I copied the 2 artifacts into the ohs proxy server box in the webgate/config folder and restarted OHS instance but now, the ohs page won't show up. The opmn status says its alive but it doesnt show up in the browser.
    I have oam 11.1.2 installed with webgate 11.1.2 and ohs webtier 11.1.1.6.0. Am I missing any step? Do I need to create a authentication scheme before I check it? Please advise to the earliest convenience.
    Thanks!!

    Hi,
    You need to create authentication scheme. also create resourse for index.html page in OAM console and add it to protected resourse list. So when you will access OHS with 7777 port it will redirect to OAM SSO page, after successful login it will take you to the home page of OHS.
    mark, if this helps.
    Regards,
    Kishore

  • Verizon web pages not displaying correctly

    I am having a problem displaying most of the Verizon web pages, including the forum pages. The pages look like the header icons are sustituted with text links throughout the pages, sometimes overlaying other areas. Check the attachment for two samples. this makes them very difficult to navigate. I have not noticed this on any pages other than Verizon's, but I suppose there may be some somewhere. Find it hard to believe my browser only has the problem here. It only is an issue on my desktop pc. My laptop is ok. The only changes I made just before this happened was to uninstall a runaway Verizon In-Home Agent that was in an endless loop trying to get an update. Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Try adding verizon.com to your Trusted Sites zone in Internet Explorer.
    To do so, double-click the "Internet Zone" thing down there ▼ to bring up the Security panel, select the Trusted Sites zone and click the Sites button. Then enter "verizon.com" and click Add. You will have to uncheck the "Require server verification" box.
    That should fix the problem.

  • Summary Links web part not showing correct column number

    Here is my scenario. I have a simple two server dev farm that is using a snapshot of production data. I have migrated the 2010 content db over and everything is running fine. One quirk I have noticed is with the summary links web part. If I add the webpart
    to a page, in the configuration settings for the webpart you can create named groups and the next setting is how many columns you want the links to appear in. When I select lets say "4" columns, and I create four groups. When I save and check in
    the web part only shows "3" columns instead of 4.
    For Example.
    I create groups: Group 1
                              Group 2
                              Group3
                              Group 4
    In the webpart configuration I select "display number of columns" = 4
    When I save that setting and look at the web part the groups will appear as:
     Group 1             Group 2                    Group 3
    Group 4
    when in reality if the column setting is = 4, I would expect:
    Group 1      Group 2      Group 3      Group 4
    So it appears it is behaving as if whatever column number you select, what is displayed is N-1.
    Has anyone else had this happen in SharePoint 2013? The same webpart doesn't behave this way in the 2010 production environment where dev gets its content. Any help would be great.
    Thanks,

    Hi againeyuga,
    Yes, I have tested in my SharePoint Server 2013 with December 2013 CU  and it  works fine. For your environment, I recommend  you install the SP1 update.

  • Web page not loading correctly in CHROME

    Hey y'all...I work at an elementary school in Sugar Hill, GA...our website is www.sugarhilles.org\home.htm.  We used DWMX...(very old version)....anyway, the CSS code I created works great in IE, but not in CHROME.  Hopefully, someone can help me.  Thanks in advance.

  • WebCenter Web Page Not Displaying Correctly

    Has anyone ever seen this error? *"Skip navigation elements to page contents"*
    The page is completely scrambled. Nothing displays correctly. It only happens when I try to restrict access to the page. Here's the page restriction within the web.xml file.
    <security-constraint>
    <web-resource-collection>
    <web-resource-name>NonAdminPages</web-resource-name>
    <url-pattern>faces/Graphs.jspx</url-pattern>
    </web-resource-collection>
    <auth-constraint>
    <role-name>users</role-name>
    </auth-constraint>
    </security-constraint>
    When I use this, it works correctly:
    <security-constraint>
    <web-resource-collection>
    <web-resource-name>NonAdminPages</web-resource-name>
    <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
    </web-resource-collection>
    <auth-constraint>
    <role-name>users</role-name>
    </auth-constraint>
    </security-constraint>
    Of course, when I use the above url pattern, it gives everyone access to all of the pages.
    Also, I tried deleting the oracle-desktop-10_1_3_3_0-en-ie-6-windows-s.css file in the "\WEB-INF\temp\adf\styles\cache\" directory. This did not work. (I read that this might fix the error from Bug No. 5616568)
    Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Derek
    P.S. I using JDev 10.1.3.3.0

    thanks for any help
    regards

  • Some web pages not loading correctly!

    Prior to the last Apple security update and move to Firefox 6.0, everything worked correctly. No problems of this type since I purchased my Imac Feb.2010. Listed are some of the problems I am experiencing. Please note that a number of web sites load and display correctly as in the past. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I am not a technical person, so please keep fix suggestions simple.
                                            web site page shifted to the extreme left of display
                                            some are centered but only 1/3 their former size
                                            one site has the top the page covered with extra page info
                                            some text is outside the boxed area it was intended to occupy

    Live chat was closed when you were in the queue that is why I linked you here.
    Is the problem still present in safe mode?
