WeB print for IE 11 is there an update

Hello
i am using IE 11 with Windows 7 (64bit).  i installed hp photo solutions but when i try to use web print it indicates that this version of IE is not supported.  it then takes me to hp website but not to the solution.  please, does anyone have a solution?

Hi Blackography,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are getting an error message indicating that Internet Explorer is not supported.
As per Microsoft's Internet Explorer 11 website, Windows 7 is not a supported operating system for Internet Explorer 11, the only operating systems that support IE 11 are Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1.  I have included the link to Microsoft's web site.

  • Enhanced Web Printing for Bookmarks

    We’ve implemented Web printing for BW 3.5 and it’s been active for several years.  After the last upgrade though the Print button calling the ZPRINTING function calls a blank page for all bookmarked queries (regular Queries work fine).  The only thing that comes close to working is creating a dummy hidden object on the template and assigning the classes to it ( note 865987 ):
    </table><object>
             <param name="OWNER" value="SAP_BW"/>
             <param name="CMD" value="GET_ITEM"/>
             <param name="NAME" value="DUMMY_DOC"/>
             <param name="ITEM_CLASS" value="CL_RSR_WWW_ITEM_DOC"/>
             <param name="DATA_PROVIDER" value="DP"/>
             <param name="HIDDEN" value="X"/>
             <param name="HELP_SERVICE_CLASS" value="Z_PRINT_HELP_SERVICE_IMP"/>
             <param name="HELP_SERVICE" value="ZPRINTING"/>
             ITEM:            DUMMY_DOC
    </object>
    This does not work if the dummy object is a Table.  (This seems important to me for some reason since a blank page is displayed if the class is defined against the original Table object or a dummy Table object but not other types of objects).
    With another dummy object it works but it calls the Z_PRINT_HELP_SERVICE help service class (without all the formatting we’ve set up)  instead of the one defined in the object.  I’ve traced the call from the template and can see it running methods from the incorrect class.  I can also make changes to the other class and see the changes I make to the attributes reflected in the web page.  It’s only half working though as any change to the layout in the preview pane results in a blank web page.
    Anyone have any direction on if is the correct direction to be going?  I’m about ready to install the printing transports again and start from scratch.

    hello everybody!
    we are using the Z_PRINTING help service from the SAP tutorial and i have a similar problem here. I am having one template showing the result of one query in the beginning. when I press the PRINT button containing the following...
    <SAP_BW_URL cmd="PROCESS_HELP_WINDOW" HELP_SERVICE="ZPRINTING" DATA_PROVIDER="DATAPROVIDER_1">
    ... everything works fine.
    but when I have changed the displayed query in this template via an ITEMVIEWDROPDOWN-Button a new window with only a blank page displays after pressing the PRINT button.
    the template contains the following object...
    <object>
             <param name="OWNER" value="SAP_BW"/>
             <param name="CMD" value="SET_DATA_PROVIDER"/>
             <param name="NAME" value="DATAPROVIDER_1"/>
             <param name="QUERY" value="ZQ_0000_HP_W_XYZ"/>
             <param name="INFOCUBE" value="ZHRPA_MWM"/>
             <param name='HELP_SERVICE' value='ZPRINTING'/>
             <param name='HELP_SERVICE_CLASS' value='ZHR_PRINT_HELP_SERVICE_IMP'/>
             DATA_PROVIDER:             DATAPROVIDER_1
    </object>
    ...but when hitting the PRINT button after changing the query the system does execute the ZHR_PRINT_HELP_SERVICE_IMP-class.
    any ideas?

  • After making a book from iPhoto and showing it to friends, they now want one printed for them.  Is there a way I can share it with them so they can order their own or do I have to print it for them?

    I created a book using iPhoto and it turned out great.  So much so that when I showed the book to people they wanted to order one for themselves.  Is there a way they can order the book without me having to order them?

    You have to order it for them

  • So are we close to getting a version of Smart Web Printing for Firefox or not?

    Subject says it all - when, oh when, will we get SWP for Firefox 3+ ?

    I'm tired of waiting for HP to supprt this add-on for FF 3.0 and just want SWP gone!  From FireFox and my machine.
    It started as a very useful add-on but, since it is not being supported, I want it gone
    There is no option to  uninstall it in my extension manager (it's faded out)  and I can not find anything under add/remove programs in XPPro.
    I even started a new profile, and it still shows up in the extension manager.
    Is there a removal tool or how do I get rid of it? What should I look for in the FF profile.
    I thinks I was able to use SWP once before the FF update. I never really got a chance to learn how to use it. Now it is useless.
    Why offer something that you are not going to support HP?
    Great idea HP, poor follow-thru

  • Web print for firefox 4 and chrome

    It seem to set up in IE 8. But not in firefox 4 or chrome.    Operating system is Xp.  Prefer not to use IE 8.  Handy tool if I could get it to work with better browsers.

    I filed a bug report at Bugzilla at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ . The bug number is 667399. It turns out that this bug was reported earlier in June of 2010 as 572801. Then Firefox 4 would have been in use. My report shows the same bug also is active in Firefox 5. Several confirmed the original bug and suggested why it happened. However apparently nothing was done during the Firefox 4 era. Could it be that difficult to correct the problem? Several other current browsers, even including IE9, do not have this problem. Someone needs to twist the tail of that Firefox to get it to correct the bug :-). Or perhaps Firefox 6 should be a special update just to correct unresolved bugs.

  • Icon for hp smart web printing has disappeared. Have rt clicked on tool bar. Customize. not there

    Icon for hp web smart printing has disappeared in firefox. It does appear in IE but I use firefox most of the time. I rt clicked in upper right and chose customize. Icon is not there.

    HP stopped updating Smart Web Printing for Firefox a while ago, it was last compatible with Firefox 3.5 - SWP didn't work with 3.6.

  • Smart web printing add-on and new versions of Firefox

    Having a problem with HP smart web printing add-on with recent versions of Firefox (3.6.12 today)?
    This is the way to go around it.
    Locate the "C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\smart web printing " folder. In it there should be a mozilla add-on folder. Click on it. Open the "install.rdf"  file with notepad. Change the content of the  <em:maxVersion> tag to 3.6.* (or later version). for example you will have <em:maxVersion>3.6.*.*</em:maxVersion>. Save "install.rdf".
    Then select all the files, folders in the mozilla addon folder (chrome, components, default,plugins,  xre, chrome.manifest, and install.rdf) and zip them. Any name will do (my_hpwebprinting, for example). Once zipped, change its extension (zip) into xpi.
    Then just slide this file (my_hpwebprinting.xpi) on the firefox icon. Wait until a firefox page opens and drop the xpi file on it.
    You will then be able to use hp smart web printing with FF after restarting it.

    Not working i have triede 6 times now.

  • Does anyone knows a cheap portable printer for iPad?

    Hi,
    I need a portable printer for my iPad. There is no much choice and all of them are expensive (>600$).
    Does anyone know a good portable printer for iPad?
    I don't need to print photos but documents (A4)

    Some suggestions here:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/23649242#23649242
    Battery-powered printers are rather few and far between and of those that exist not all will work with an iPad. Using a standard AC WiFi printer with an inverter will give you more options.

  • Anything new with Smart Web Printing working with IE9?

    I've been following posts regarding compatability of Smart Web Printing with IE9. Has there been any progress in this area?

    Does Bing Bar need to be in IE9 32bit rather than 64bit?  I really miss the Smart Web Printing.
    Thanks, Twinkie3
    I have it installed just fine on my x64 Windows 7 system running the 32 bit version of IE9.  I do not remember the details, but I think I had problems downloading the file in IE9 and I downloaded it with Chrome and then ran it and installed it in IE9.

  • Printing selected data in ALV or Table in Web Dynpro for ABAP

    Hi Experts,
    I have ALV  / Table report in the Web Dypro for ABAP App.  User wants to select a record in ALV/ table and / or preview it in PDF form and then he/she can print it. What is the technical steps do I need to achieve this result?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    In the Road map UI element , you can find number of Step .
    Add one Interactive form in one that steps. Capture that records , pass that records to Step where the interactive form is there.
    I think it will work...

  • I can't see the icon for HP Smart Web Printing on my toolbar. Does anyone have a suggestion?cc=us

    I can't see the icon fro HP Smart Web Printing on my toolbar. How do I get it to appear?

    Please check your top toolbar left side, you should see a small arrow icon to expend the toolbar, located near the Tools option
    (Ignore the location side in the sample picture, it should be the opposite for your language )
    If you cannot locate the HP Smart Web Printing there either, Click Tools > Manage Addons
    and make sure the HP Smart Web Printing addon is enabled,

  • Hp smart web printing does not work on firefox. HP says this is not their problem and to contact Mozilla. Is there a plug in available?

    I just bought a new hp printer. the software has a feature called HP web smart printing. The feature works on explorer but not on Firefox. HP says this is not their problem and suggested I contact Mozilla. Is an add on available and if not will one be made available.
    I am using v. 3.6.13. and the printer is HP Officejet 4500.

    HP smart web printing is an application that only works with IE. In spite of what HP have told you, if they want their application to work with Firefox they will need to make a version for Firefox. It is not down to Mozilla to make a version of the HP software for Firefox.

  • Is a fix for "not compatible HP Smart Web Printing 4.60, coming? Do you have a browser that will work with it?

    Brand new wireless network printer from hp uses HP web printing 4.60. So I can't use my new printer. If you have a different browser that will work great, I hate to switch to a non mozilla browser.

    Every time Firefox opened

    HP is a third-party developer of that toolbar. <u>'''HP has chosen'''</u> to only support IE versions 6, 7, and 8 for using the HP SWP product. See: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=c00793678
    The HP SWP product gives you options to ''"select, clip, edit, and print content from Web pages without printing the entire Web page."''; see http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01846025&tmp_track_link=ot_recdoc/c00793678/en_us/c01846025/loc:2&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us . You can perform those same functions with some add-ons for Firefox and/or free utilities on the market.
    I use an HP printer and can do all of the above without the HP SWP Toolbar.
