Cant find HP Web services tab to find claim code

Hi
I am trying to set up HP ePrint on my HP Laserjet M1522nf printer connected to my home network. I am unable to find the claim code for my printer to set up the device on HP connected services.
I have entered the IP address on my web browser and entered the printer's configuration tab but i am unable to find the web services tab or the print info page for the claim code.
Please let me know how to find the claim code so that i could set up ePrint.

HP LaserJet 600 M601 HP Web Services tab disappeared

Setup a new M601 yesterday. Networking and printing work fine, but when I would click on the "HP Web Services" tab and try to enable web services, it kept popping up an error and tell me to check proxy settings. No proxy. Installed the most recent firmware (2200643_22834) and logged back in. Networking and printing working fine. Now the "HP Web Services" tab is gone! Ran through the firmware update again, same result. Would try to access it by direct url, but I have no idea what it is.
Where can I get the original firmware?
Does someone know the URL so I can try to directly access the page, should look something like, https://192.168.x.x/hp/device/???
Any other ideas? Is there some sort of console command line access for this printer?

What is the Web Dynpro tab on the portal page?

Newbie here...
I am confused between NDWS and the Web Dynpro tab on the portal page. As I don't have access to either right now, I need to know what is required by a Portal Content Admin to maintain an application. The Basis people do the JCO setup. Those are the only tabs I have seen when using the Web Dynpro tab from the portal, not NDWS. Seeing as I don't have access to either tool, and I have to ask for what I need and I don't know what I need... Been there?
I guess my question is the use of the two tools.

So, the Web Dynpro Content Admin is normally a part of the content admin role. Hmm... I get a "you are not authorized" when I click that tab, even though I can do iViews, etc. and was told I have the content admin role. So if no one edited the rights of the content admin, I should be able to get into Web Dynpro Content Admin tool. Is this so? Is there any special user config, check box, etc in addition to the role?
Is the Dynpro content admin tool useful for content admins or content developers?
My Basis person does not want the content admin to be able to change JCO settings. Is there a way to give the content admin rights to everything in the WDCA except that?
Thanks again. I am a J2EE developer who volunteered to take content admin and content development roles and am trying to figure out what has been done here and what needs to be done. On top of that anyone who has been involved claims "I know nothing..." until I ask specific questions. It's just hard to know what the specific questions are.
I know, training... No money. Sigh... I am good at doing tutorials and reading manuals and experimenting, however, I need access to the right tools and permissions first.

Add a blank in webi cross tab

I have a webi cross tab and need to add a blank line in line 3, line 7 and line 9 etc (not regular pattern). How can I do that? If I use the insert row below, webi will add blank row for each line. Please help.

Since web intelligence uses row level aggregation for calculations , there is a restriction in creating a new row like u said, unlikely column insertion has no restrictions. we cannot insert by our own pattern.

If the printer is on a corporate network, it may require a proxy to get an internet connection.
If that does not help, if you could provide me with the following information it would help me out. First, who is your ISP( Internet Service Provider, i.e. Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, ect.)? Second, who is the maker of your router? Lastly, what is the model number and firmware version of your router?

App tabs and web page tabs not saved when Apple Mac is powered down

Using Firefox with Apple Mac running OS X v 10.7.1 and Parallels 6, and Windows Vista as a virtual computer. Have Firefox 6.o installed on the Mac and Firefox 6.0 for Windows installed within Microsoft Vista running under Parallels 6 as a virtual machine.
Issue 1) Within Mozilla on the Mac whenever I power down and restart the computer all my app tabs and web page tabs are lost except for my home page, even though I have set up Firefox preference to remember my open web pages/tabs.
Issue 2) Within Firefox running within Vista on the virtual machine my web pages are remembered but I cannot figure out how to create a app tab.

Tabs are only saved if you close (Firefox > Quit) the Firefox application while those tabs are still showing. If you close a window and still have the menu bar visible then you wont reopen already close tabs. You may need to be able to reopen the three last closed windows via History > Recently closed Windows.

Problem solved from prior post. Firefox had become blocked somehow by McAfee firewall. Set to full access. Now works perfectly.

Character display issue in French Web index tab

First of all, I'm working with RoboHelp 8.
There is a character display issue in the index tab of the web help. (See screenshot below)
The apostrophe, instead of displaying by itself, it has a backslash just before it: \'
In the hhk file, I started using the actual apostrophe ('), then replaced it with ' and finally tried '
(The htm files use utf-8 encoding). None of those options seemed to solve the issue.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for a very quick response. The problem is that the Title (name of the image filename is also the item number in Quote) and this is always not null. I am not sure how do I test whether the image is present in $OA_MEDIA directory or not. Does BI Publisher provide a way to find out whether an image filename exists in $OA_MEDIA or not.
If there is no such standard way provided by BI Publsher, then I guess I will have to write Java function that executes in the middle tier and returns whether file exists with that name in $OA_MEDIA.

BEx Web - Inserting Tabs with multiple Web Templates

I encounter much difficulty to find consistent information on how to create a Web cockpit (BW3.5) by making use of embedded Web Templates (using web template web item).
In particular,
- How to define tab pages?
- How to insert an HTML document in one of these tab pages or in the body of a single Web template?
I would be glad if you could give me links to helpful documentation or share your own experience.

Copy a Webi Report tab

Does anyone know if there is a function to copy a complete report tab using the webi SDK.
A searched for it but couldn't find such a function.

From what I think you are saying, you want to copy an entire report, query, objects, variables and all into another already existing report? I don't think that is possible.
Maybe in 4.0? I don't know. Anybody know?

Can some body tell me what's the use of Initialization tab and input parameters ,output parameters in this tab?

Hi Mahesh,
               The initialization tab is to initialize the values of Variables or even internal tables.Normally its not sujjested to write code in initialization, but u can try population internal tables thr without a print program attached to smartform.
What all values that we want to initialize should be put in <b>input parameters</b> and we should have the same values in <b>output parameters</b> since we are initializing/changing the values for that variables.
Those values can be accessed anywhere in smartform.
When we create 'CODE Lines" also we can see input and out put parameters there, but here in input parameters what all tables or varaibles that we are using inside the code line should be put and in output parameters we should put what all valuse we want to output from that code
for Example:-
Suppose i have a work area "w_final"
and I want to set value for a flag variable "w_flag" taking condition of that work area then I should put "w_final" in INPUT Section and "w_flag" in Output parameter section.
Code -> ON CHANGE OF w_final-mtart.
               w_flag ='X'.
              endon.
Try one example creating varibale and assighn some values to that.

Web page tabs

Hello, my name is Joe. I bought a L555 alittle over a month ago. When it was brand new it would display the web pa gees that I viewed the most. Then I installed Microsoft office enterprise 2007 and MacAfee total protection. Since then, when I click on the new tab, it dose not display any pages anymore. Is there a way to get it back to doing that? By the way, I'm not very computer literate yet.

I have a L455D-S5976. It came with Explorer 8 and Windows 7. This is my husband's computer but I think he has had this problem from the beginning. He cannot open two websites at once. If you click on the icon, the web page just collapses. There's only one tab. Frustrating when you want to toggle between two sites. I have gone to Tools>Options>General>Tabs. I have disabled, restarted computer, enabled, restarted but that didn't help. I've tried checking different settings under the tabs but still nothing. I've tried disabling add-ons and some other stuff that I can't remember right now. Still nothing. I have googled this and can't find any help. I've also checked the Microsoft website support pages. Help!!
