Web query analysis: analyze_iemon error..

Hi,
I am trying to use web query analysis tool and when i am trying produce the .csv file in cmd prompt it is giving me following error message:
"analyze_iemon" is not recognized as an internal or external cmd, operable program or batch file
the strange thig is it is creating .csv file but its empty !!!
can someone guide me in this ??
i will surely give the points.

We are also having the same issue. We are in BI 7 SP 15.
Is there any way to find the relation between the Bookmark ID and Query name? The favorite link is not working and getting the above error message. We are also not able to identify the query related to this favorite / bookmark link. Is there any table to identify for query and Bookmark?

"Json is undefined" error message when running web query in excel

Hello,
Im trying to run a web query to import flight price data from ryanair into excel.
I get a "Json is undefined" error message whenever i run the web query.
I also get a message from Ryanair saying my browser is out of date even though I have Internet Explorer 11.
Ive added screenshots so i hope they display correctly.
Can anyone help with this.

Web Query (.iqy) not working in Excel after upgrade to 11.1.1.6

After upgrade 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6, the Web Query (.iqy) does not work. After open the .iqy file in Excel, entered the user and password, it only pulls in "PK" in one cell, instead of the expected analysis report. This was working in 11.1.1.5 before upgrade.
Does anyone know how to correct this issue? Is this a bug in 11.1.1.6, or required some new configuration settings?

PDF printing from BEx Web Query

When I try to print (Print Version) a BEx Web query I only get the message "Error while generating PDF". Do I need to set any setting to get this feature to work properly?

Yes - ADS is one of the standalone engines that should be installed in your technical foundations of the system. It comes with the upgrade / installation kits. This is documented in the master guide - service.sap.com/instguides.

Works in Query Analyser but not in asp

I have an asp page that passes between 1 and 20 ID's in a
string to another
asp page where an Update is triggered. The string looks like:
10023567, 1000345, 90885543211
or it could be just one ID like:
27736458
My update stored procedure is:
Update Bookings
SET Status = 'Accepted'
WHERE BookingID IN (@ID)
@ID is the string mentioned above. If there is only 1 ID in
the string then
the Update is performed but if there is more than 1 ID I get
"cannot convert
Varchar to Int" error.
If I take the string contents and use them in Query Analyser
eg.
Update Bookings
SET Status = 'Accepted'
WHERE BookingID IN (10023567, 1000345, 90885543211)
it works fine and updates the correct rows, so why do I get
the error when
attempting it in an asp page?

In a stored procedure, @ID is a parameter, not plain text
that gets added to
your query. Of course copy/pasting the list into QA would
work because that
IS plain text getting added to the query. If you'd defined a
parameter in
QA, it would also have failed.

Query engine failed error for crytal report refreshing to new params in jsp

Using licensed weblogic 8.1 server in production mode. Weblogic workhsop has inetegrated supprot for crystal reports 9. Using standalone report & accessing sql server through odbc, i got result for different parameters passed.
Problem Area : Passing parameter to have specific report causes unexpected query engine failed error in com.crystaldecisions.report.web.viewer.CrystalViewer class. If viewer.refresh method is commented, then static (already saved) report is displayed through jsp. But using viewer.refresh method for dynamic report genertaion for new parameters through jsp gives above error.

First, I execute a web query and all data shows perfectly. Then, i do some changes to the report, like deleting some column, and i use the "save view" button. However, the data of the new devised report does not shown and I am given a error message that "Could not find any data to display. This might be due to the current selection of variable or filter values".
When I look into it, the error really lies in the filter values, which has been automatically set when i save the view. For these set filter values, the report finds no data to display. Have some of you come across such kind of errors? great thanks.

Unable to open web query. Cannot download the information you requested.

I am attempting to import several financial statements into a stock valuation program I have created. Sometimes, the web queries work fine and other times they do not. For instance, if I reset my computer they will sometimes
work. It is very random, some days it will work and others it will not. I have had other people try using excel web queries, not just from my worksheet, and they have the same issue where they randomly stop working. I have looked into
other forums but cannot figure out why these queries will not work. Please help me resolve this because it makes the excel program worthless without it. Thanks!

Yes, the error message is exactly like that ("Database error: failured to persist version")
No photos will import at all. I use USB to import from iPhone 5s or iPad 2.
About the difference? iPhoto and Photos . Are there two softwares?
I also will like to merge and/or synchronize all my photos I had saved to iCloud backups, Macbook Pro, iPhone 5s and iPad hard drives using iPhoto. It's call iPhoto library. At one point I turned off streaming.

How can I use a variable in webi query filter

I created a webi report using the fiscal year/month(period) field as a filter to show a window of 18 periods. The report works just as requested using a between filter on fiscal period with prompts for both the start and ending periods. Now I'd like to calculate the start period based on what was entered in the prompt for the ending period (e.g. enter 201106 for the TO prompt on the between statement and have the FROM statement filled in as 201001.) I can create variables in the report to display both the user response to the ending period prompt and the calculated starting period, but I cannot figure out how to incorporate that calculated starting date into the FROM side of the between query filter.
Any suggestions?

Let me understand what you want to do. You don't want to use two prompts, just one, insn't it?
I mean, instead of:
Filter area:
Date between "From prompt" to "To Prompt"
You want something like:.
Filter area:
Date between Variable to "To Prompt"
if I'm not wrong that's not possible to achieve in Webi Query Panel.
Can you modify your universe? The only way to achieve it is modifying your universe, creating your formula in the universe and assigning it to an object, so you can use this new object in your filter area like this:
Date between MyUniverseObject to "To Prompt"

SQL 2012 SP1 - How to determine a query that causes Error 8623 in SQL Log: The query processor ran out of internal resources and could not produce a query plan. This is a rare event...

We are getting multiple 8623 Errors in SQL Log while running Vendor's software.
How can you catch which Query causes the error?
I tried to catch it using SQL Profiler Trace but it doesn't show which Query/Sp is the one causing an error.
I also tried to use Extended Event session to catch it, but it doesn't create any output either.
Error:
The query processor ran out of internal resources and could not produce a query plan. This is a rare event and only expected for extremely complex queries or queries that
reference a very large number of tables or partitions. Please simplify the query. If you believe you have received this message in error, contact Customer Support Services for more information.

According to your error message, about which query statement may fail with error message 8623, as other post, you can use trace flag 4102 & 4118 for overcoming this error. Another way is looking for queries with very long IN lists, a large number of
UNIONs, or a large number of nested sub-queries. These are the most common causes of this particular error message.
The error 8623 occurs when attempting to select records through a query with a large number of entries in the "IN" clause (> 10,000). For avoiding this error, I suggest that you could apply the latest Cumulative Updates media for SQL Server 2012 Service
Pack 1, then simplify the query. You may try divide and conquer approach to get part of the query working (as temp table) and then add extra joins / conditions. Or You could try to run the query using the hint option (force order), option (hash join), option
(merge join) with a plan guide.

This perfectly works with one table and one nav. block per tab. When I include a second table and a second nav. blocks in some tab, it doesn't work properly anymore (the selected tab is not highlighted). I think that I'm not naming the table and nav. block properly:

strip2 = 2 tables, name TAB2_0 and TAB2_1
Navblock strip1 = 2 navblocks, name TAB1_0_NAV and TAB1_1_NAV
Navblock strip2 = 2 navblocks, name TAB2_0_NAV and TAB2_1_NAV
The JavaScript Paramter is TAB1, TAB2 and TAB3. So need every strip-group the same "main"-name.

When i do file, save for web, i get an error that says " the operation could not be completed. The system cannot find the path specified." What can fix this?

Upgraded to 13 Thinking might resolve the issue.
Was working fine up until we had "Tech" come in the office and "up grade some stuff"
then all of a sudden i started getting this message, something happened but i don't have a clue what.
