Web SAPConsole - Error: Can't initialize
Hi,
When I start sapcnsl.exe in DOS it works properly.
If I open URL: "http://localhost/Web/isapi_sapcnsl.dll"
in my browser (IE6.0) the following message appears:
"Error: can`t initialize"
He cannot initialize the dll? I'am using a WebAS 6.4-System.
Thx,
Tim
Was this problem every resolved?
We are having a similar problem. Most of the time it responds correctly but several times a day it crashes with the same error. SAP Web console is running on Windows 2003 Server. I usually correct by recycling the worker process in IIS.

Desperate for help ... Getting error "can't initialize video deck"
Last night, I had been importing footage just fine into Final Cut Pro HD 4.5 from my camcorder. Then today, no matter how many times I try, how many times I reboot, I get the error that it cannot initialize the video deck when I try to Log and Capture the footage. I've read a number of the solutions to other people having this problem, I ran Disk Utility to Repair Permissions, try unplugging the power and FireWire cable completely, to no avail. Before this, it had been kind of "buggy" in the last few days trying to capture footage, but usually would connect just fine after I would turn off the camera and turn it back on. But today nothing ... I haven't installed or done anything to this system in months, and like I said, I've imported 24 tapes up to now with only a couple of slight times where it couldn't load initially, but usually did on the second try. Could something be conflicting on my system? I have an external hard drive connected to the system which I use for my capture scratch disk, and if I boot up the system with my camcorder turned on, my external hard drive is not recognized. But once I turn the camcorder off, my external hard drive pops right up. Same kind of issue when opening Final Cut Pro ... if I try to open FCP with my camcorder turned on, it hangs on the little rainbow circle. But the second I turn off the camcorder, Final Cut loads just fine. I am really desperate for a solution on this one, I'm way behind on a project, and only have 7 more tapes to go. By the way, I'm on a Power Mac G5.
jason,
Before I go into the firewire port reset procedure there are two things you should understand.
1. Paragraphs are not optional. Your English teacher should give you a dope slap for the way you wrote your original post.
2. When you reply to a Post, click REPLY ON THAT POST not on your original post. Otherwise, when you view this thread in 'Threaded View" (to be found under My Settings), it looks like you are talking to yourself.
Now, to reset the firewire bus. I like to do this in a recreational manner - hence the 'Harpoon Solution" (aka the Guinness solution in the mid and far west)
1. turn everything off.
2. unplug firewire cables
3. unplug power cords
4. get up from well worn chair
5. walk to refrigerator
6. open refrigerator
7. remove bottle of Harpoon (Guinness, local micro brew, etc)
8. pop cap
9. pour into glass ( you AREN'T going to drink it from a bottle, are you?)
10. sip responsibly. enjoy the moment. think pure thoughts
11. return to kitchen. If less than 15 minutes has elapsed, have another. Otherwise, retrurn to edit room.
12. Plug everything back together
12. fire up external monitors, VTR, external hard drives & computer in that order.
Does it work now? If yes, congratulate your self. If not, oh well, but at least you are in a much better frame of mind to begin some serious troubleshooting.
cheerios,

Probably you could start the oracle database with SQLPLUS, and it will output the errors in dialog.
Eks:
log on as sidadm:
sqlplus / as sysdba
sql> startup
It will tell you if any table spaces are in recoverymode or offline.
A better walkthrough can be obtained in my blogpage on similar matters:

Can't initialize OCI error occured during the login process using TOAD 9.0
I have installed the Toad 9.0 recently while login using the username & password for oracle 10.0 database , i am getting the error
Can't initialize OCI Error 1
But i am able to login using the Sql Plus successfully..
Thanks in Advance. Here's one more reason why this error occurs in Toad. It is when you have more than one Oracle Client installed on your machine. Even when you select the correct Oracle Home in "Connect Using" field of Toad, you still get this error "Can't initialize OCI. Error -1". So, to solve that you need to go to the installation folder of that Oracle Home (e.g. C:\Oracle\ora92\), then go to the BIN folder. Open Oracle.Key in Notepad and confirm that it is showing Registry entry/path to the correct Oracle Home (e.g. HOME0 or HOME1 or whatever).
I hope this helps. -

SAPConsole can't initialize unexpected exception
I have an intermittent problem with SAPConsole and IIS. Sometimes I can connect fine and other times I get the error u201CError: Canu2019t initializeu201D (version 7.1 patch level 4) or u201CError: Unexpected exceptionu201D (version 6.4 patch 20).
I have installed the two different versions of SAPConsole on two separate servers, both running Windows Server 2003. I first installed 6.4 and tried it with telnet first as I had not installed IIS on this server. SAPCNSL.EXE and Telnet worked well in testing.
I then installed 7.1 on another server where I already had IIS installed. This instance of IIS already had some internal web sites configured, so I followed the installation instructions and added a virtual directory, etc. I connected to the URL per the instructions and it worked. I thought, u201CWow, this is easy.u201D I connected several times both from a Motorola gun with Windows CE and also from my own PC. However, late that afternoon I started getting u201CError: Canu2019t initializeu201D. I stopped and started the web page, the application pool, IIS services, and finally rebooted the server, none of which fixed the problem. Then, after leaving it alone for about 30 minutes, I tried it once more and it worked (for a while). Also, I could run SAPCNSL.EXE at any time and it would always work. Unfortunately, the SAPTrace file only seems to record activity for SAPCNSL.EXE but not ISAPI_SAPCNSL.DLL.
After fighting that server for a day or two, I decided to install IIS on the original server where I had installed SAPConsole 6.4. I hoped a fresh install of IIS with no previous configuration might help. Again, it worked fine at first but soon started giving the error u201CError: Unexpected exceptionu201D intermittently, just like the other server. However, on this version, the SAPTRACE file records activity for both the EXE and the DLL. When I receive the error the trace file looks like this:
17:31:41: This is a trace file for SAPConsole patch 20.2
17:31:41: Fatal Error: Can`t find module "isapi_sapcnsl.dll" in process modules list
17:31:41: Fatal Error: Can`t load Central module "sapcnsl.dll"
17:31:41: Error code: 126
17:31:41: InitApp success: id = 01B03888_15, connection = 00000000, displayer = 00000000, profile = 01B04B30
17:31:41: Error: unexpected exception
17:34:28: Start request for session
17:34:28: Start request for session
17:34:28: Fatal Error: Can`t find module "isapi_sapcnsl.dll" in process modules list
17:34:28: Fatal Error: Can`t load Central module "sapcnsl.dll"
17:34:28: Error code: 126
17:34:28: InitApp success: id = 01B0C3C0_167511, connection = 00000000, displayer = 00000000, profile = 01BD0048
17:34:28: Error: unexpected exception
I have looked in both versions of the ISAPI_SAPCNSL.DDL files and can see that those different error messages are contained in the respective versions, so the error is coming from the DLLs, not IIS. Also, since the EXE file can always connect, I do not believe the problem is from SAP. I have defined various profiles, both by using the SAPLOGON.INI file and by defining the connection manually, to various SAP systems. Once the server starts failing, it does not matter which profile I specify as the default or use as a parameter in the URL, I still get the error. Also, the two servers do not necessarily fail at the same time. That is, one server may start failing while the other continues to connect successfully. The server that has failed will start working again after a varying period time (30 minutes to several hours).
So, from the trace file from the 6.4 version, what do the errors mean? Specifically, u201CCan`t find module "isapi_sapcnsl.dll" in process modules listu201D, u201CCan`t load Central module "sapcnsl.dll"u201D and u201CError code: 126u201D? I have placed entries in the PATH environment variable on both servers.
How can I get the trace file with 7.1 version to work? I suspect I might see similar messages. I read an OSS note about a correction for the trace file not working with the DLL in an early version of the 6.4 version, but was that correction not carried over to the 71 version?
I have tried various configuration changes to IIS, such as selection the options for memory recycling in the application pool. I will make a change and it will seem to have worked and then later it will fail again.
Does any one have any ideas?Apparently resolved intermittent problem with SAPConsole. Changed IIS configuration on to have no worker process recycling or shutdown of idle worker processes or pinging of worker processes. This was a problem since the guns go to sleep and are then not connected to the network. There is still a connection timeout which I have set to one hour. Also I unselected the enable session state option of the virtual web page which means there is no session timeout. Later found OSS note (1221578) under IIS (not SAPConsole) that recommended the same things but until I knew it was an IIS issue I would not have searched for IIS.

Blocked from running *.exe
files. Blocked in Control Panel from Uninstalling anything.
Consistently returns: "Can't initialize plugins directory"
What I tried:
1. Safe Mode with Network
2. File cleanup from C Drive Tools
3. Environmental variable: changed
to this c:/TEMP
c:/TMP (Created TEMP folder
on
directory tree.)
4. Googled error-- known
issue but fixes do not work. (Created New Profile, SFC Scan
of Windows files, moved TEMP folder,
etc)
5. Run as administrator
6. Started after the support desk for ACT client management software uninstalled SQL to restore access to a CLIENT database that was lost for reasons unknown. So it appears some damage was done.
Question is, what was damaged and how to fix it, if this caused this problem and it was not malware fiddling with
registry.Hi,
You can open Control Panel\System and Security, click
Event Viewer under Administrator Tools to check if some logs record recent errors.
Also you can start computer and typing F8, click Repair Your Computer to perform
System Restore. -
When installing, get "Error! Can't initialize plug-ins directory"
Began having problems when opening Firefox and trying to make Firefox the default browser. Windows 7 updated, AVG up-to-date and virus scans clean, MalwareBytes up-to-date and scans clean. Troubleshooting finally caused me to uninstall and try for clean install ... normal Windows 7 uninstall process successful. Made sure Firefox folder in "Program Files" was deleted. Downloaded "DownloadApp_1_7_5_198_Setup" (29,442 KB) from Mozilla website and run ... get "Error! Can't initialize plug-ins directory. Please try again later."
Thank you guig2! Followed your bleepingcomputer.com link above and found the problem was my permissions on C:\Users\Bill\AppData\Local/Temp. It was not "Full Control" for my User or Administrator. Updated the two lines to permit full control for folder, subfolder and files. Ran perfect.

Java error in session initializations - IC web client
Hi All,
When i access the CRM IC web client through browser (BSP page), Page is loading but inside the page im getting the following error.
" Java error in session initialization [Error message: abcj2systemid.domain.com: CALL_METHOD(SYS_METHODNAME) sessionid = SOAP Runtime Execption; CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP recive failed with exception communication_failure ( Message Class CRMM_IC_FRAMEWORK- message number 106).
Pl suggest
Thanks
PRadeepHi Sai,
Kindly make sure that you have JREE1.4.0 and not above for your error.
Secondly, you are getting the first message because when you are closing your application by clicking onto the close at top, it doesnt log out your agent from the Webclient. The correct approach would be to close using the path Menu Bar> File> Close
The channels are not available because you have not maintained the queues and channels for your system. The same is do be done in SAP Easy Acess> Webclient> Additional Settings. It is also available in the Best Practices C78.
The link for the same is
http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv250/CRM_DE/index.htm
Hope this would help.

so problem is not with the Oracle database but with Toad.
So root cause & fix are external to Oracle.
This problem is off topic for this forum & should be posted somewhere in TOAD-world -
Can not open photshop CC 2014 ERROR could not initialize Photoshop because of a program error
Hi
I can not open Photshop CC 2014
ERROR
could not initialize Photoshop because of a program errorI've had the same error happen to me. I deleted the preferences file, updated JAVA, etc. none of which worked.
I've spent days systematically working to isolate the variable that seems to make Photoshop work one day and "not initialize" the next. I simply can't afford to stop work when Photoshop doesn't want to initialize due to: PSOWLListenerProxyBaseCocoa.mm : 52 : REQUIRE failed
Apologies, but I REQUIRE YOU TO INITIALIZE!
I think that I've isolated the problem. I have a dual monitor set-up. Sometimes I use the second monitor and sometimes I don't, sometimes monitor 2 is powered on and sometimes it's not. It's really the only thing with any variance on my system. I disconnected my second monitor. Then I clicked the Photoshop icon and the program opened...
I am running OS X 10.9 and Photoshop CS 5.1
There appears to be a link between Photoshop not wanting to initialize and Graphics Card / Monitors. -
Web Service Import Error - Can't Create Project Library
Hello,
I'm haiving an issue importing a particular .NET web service using the import wizard. I'm running .NET 2.0 framework and LV8.2. I have followed this tutorial and successfully got a few simple services working. I can successfully import an use simple web services like this one with no issues, but when I attempt to import a local web service I keep experienceing the same error at the end of the import, the error is:
The following errors/warnings occurred when generating the local proxy dll and VI wrappers for this web service.
Can't Create Project Library.
Project Library Generation Failed.
Possible Reasons:
1) The imported project library has a conflicting name with a project library already in memory.
2) The imported VIs have conflicting names with VIs already in memory.
Close the project library and VIs and reimport the Web Service.
ionService.lvlib
I seriously doubt that the error is actually caused by 1 or 2, I think this is just the default message for some other error. I have cleaned all previous failed projects from the userlibs and opened and closed the program, restarted etc... I have also tried this and got the same error with another machine running .NET 1.1 and LV8.2, same error.
The service's WSDL page seems to be working correctly, LV sees the availble functions and lists them correctly for import, it just always fails when creating the DLL wrappers.
I have included the WDSL XML file for reference.
Anyone have any ideas for fixing this?
Thanks,
Adam

WSDL - XML.zip 2 KBHi Adam,
Some of the functions in your project library may have the same names as some of the inbuilt functions in LabVIEW or any loaded functions in the memory.
Try closing down all other programs and see if it works.
What are the names of the functions you are using?
You may have to rename them to remove the naming conflict, but you did mention that you don’t think that it’s because of one of those reflected conflicts!!
SubVIs being generated may have the same name as some LabVIEW inbuilt functions which may be causing the problem.
Could you please provide the header file to see the names of the functions?
Hopefully this helps!!
