WEB SERVICE ERROR ON PAGE
Hy all!
I'm having a problem to insert a WebService on a Page of a J2EE Web Application.Nowdays i have many webservices working in many pages of this project.
But now i've developed webservices using complex type on java
When i try do drop the webservice into the page i got the error above!
I was able to use this operation using Test Method and it worked!
It appears on my Servers->WebServers window, but any time that i drop it on a page i got a error!!
What is most strange is that i could use this same web service on a new project that i've created!!
Just on this project, that is almost done, i got this error!!

Hello Guru's,
we are creating sales order in SAP from a quote created in .NET, through Web Service created in SAP, and consumed in .NET.
When ever a order is created in SAP for a given quote, SAP returns the sales order number to .NET.
Orders are getting created as expected, but once in a while we are getting the following error from webservice :
Web service processing error; more details in the web service error log on provider side (UTC timestamp 20140609173429; Transaction ID 4DFCEFE33301F1EBB5CE00155D0B4530)
But the problem is order is getting created in SAP for the perticular quote for which we are getting the above error and this order number is not getting returned to .NET.
Upon analysis in TCODE SRT_UTIL for the above transaction ID, has the following details , which are hardly help full to resolve the error.

This Exception raised by Web Service application

Web service call and page fowarding
I just started with HTML DB. I have a customer that requires the use of HTML DB for there standard look and feel, since they are using it for other applications.
I need to use HTML DB to create a front end that is backed by either EJBs or Web services that front the EBJs, to create a single application. I can not go directly to the DB since there is to much business logic contained in the EJBs that I would be circumventing. I dont think this is a good use of tech. from either side (J2EE or HTML DB) but I did not make the decision.
I have not seen integration with EJBs addressed (if you know of any please speak up), so I was happy to see that web services are supported.
So....
I have been able to call a webservice and get a result. I need to be able to format the result and create buttons based on the results returned by the web services. These buttons will call other pages that may or may not call additional webservices. In addition, I need to pass values in the web services response to pages called by the buttons generated. Any and all help would be appreciated.
Also does the syntax for #somethine# and &someone get evaluated if used in the XSL that renders the webservice response?Please disregard my "additional information" post to this

Web Services Error When running Sample Application
When I was testing "Create a New Customer" from the Sample application in Oracle's provided free new HTML DB 2.0 environment (just out last night), I got the following error message.
ORA-20001: The webservice was unreachable because either the URL you supplied was invalid, or your environment requires a valid proxy server address for HTTP requests.
I was using my laptop through SBC Yahoo DSL service (dynamic IP address) to test this HTML DB Sample application.
Any suggestion for this Web Services Error?cckung,
Oracle's IT team has disabled the ability to call web services from htmldb.oracle.com. We are working with them to resolve this, but I don't have an ETA.

LS Join Launcher Web Service error 64008
I getting multiple
LS Join Launcher Web Service errors (id 64008) on my Front-end servers (LHPv2) and online meetings stopped working. I have reinstalled Web components, but it didn't

HP Photosmart 7520 unable to connect to web services error
I've used my HP Photosmart 7520 for years without issue scanning to email. Now I get "Unable to connect to Web Services" error message. I've done all the procedures listed in the blog, including changing the manual DNS server configuration and still get the same error. Help!

Web Service Error handling in JDev 11g

I followed the steps on this tutorial: "Use JDeveloper 11g to Create a Data Control From a Web Service"

In this tutorial, under the section "Running the Page", you will see the image where an error message is displayed - "SoapException - Server was unable to process your request...."
I also get this error when I follow the tutorial's steps. If I repeatedly press the GetWeatherByZipCode commandButton, the message goes away and I get the data in the table as expected.
What I'd like to do is not show the end user this error, but instead eat the error and retry the request a few times. If after a few tries, I still get the error, then I can show the end user a nicer message.
How do I do this? Any documentation you can point me too would be appreciated. I'm new to the 'bindings' layer. I usually use JavaBeans/managed beans.
I'm using JDeveloper 11g (Main build from Oct 15th)

JeanneI've read about binding to #{adfFacesContext.initialRender} to not call the web service on initial render which is what you are probably talking about.
However, I get this error even after the first time I've displayed the page. I've heard that you cannot rely on web services always coming back to you with data ((e.g., like Twitter's data - that was the example I was given at a recent Google Tech Talk) . I need to handle the case where I get an error from the web service and I retry calling the web service behind the scenes so the end user is unaware. This is what I want to do. I can retry a few times, then give up, then pop up a nice error.

I have successfully created a Restful Web Service Reference for Google Geocode API and I am able to test the service to give me results. However, when I use it on a form with report page and enter the same 2 parameters that I entered 4 minutes before when testing the page into the Form, and submit, I get following error which makes no sense to me since there is no ';' in the string I am entering.

We've successfully created and consumed a web services in our development box, however due to internet communication framework error that comes up whenever the other system is down, i've developed an ABAP program to automatically resubmit those. The program is working correctly when run in the foreground(both Dev & QA), but it seems i can't run it in the background in QA. Can anyone let me know where the problem is or if there is a setting that will automatically resend when the link is up.
Or maybe is there a settings to disable the web service to be consumed in the background cause maybe that's what is causing the problem. I'm not farmiliar with all the proxy/web service settings and their transaction codes.

I understand that you're having problems connecting to web services. I would try the steps below. Let me know how it goes.
1. Obtain your printer's IP address
a. This can be done by pressing the wireless icon on printer.
2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.
3. Select the network tab at the top of the page.
4. On the left select networking.
5. Select Network Address (IP)
6. Select Manual DNS Server
a. Manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8
b. Alternate DNS Server should read. 8.8.4.4
7. Select apply you might get a warning just select okay. -

The problem turned out to be that Oracle application server 10.1.2 is unlike the others servers, it uses 2 ports:
- port (19100) is dedicated for the console.
- port (7779) is to view your applications.
So the URL needed turned out to be "http://acteos-109.beirut.acteos:7779/beanTest" instead of "http://acteos-109.beirut.acteos:18100/beanTest"

Hi,
I try to use a sdo webservice in an other project but this fails. I created a sdo webservice by creating a service interface in a bc4j application module. this works fine I can deploy
it to a oc4j container and test the web service operation findbykey, this works fine.
Now I made in an other model project a new entity based on this sdo service , this goes well. I add the reference to the connection.xml and add the sdo service common jar to this project library.
If I test this with the bc4j tester then it goes wrong because of the selected configuration.
If I make a jsf page on this viewobject then I get this error

LabVIEW Web Service Error on Render ESP Template

I was hoping people would be able to help with the following problem:
I am trying out the Embedded Server Page (ESP) scripting functionality of the LabVIEW webservices and keep receiveing an error when attempting to render a page.
I believe that I have set up the HTTP request handler correctly - buffered stream with headers
The correct template is located and used as the page renders upto the esp variable insertion point.
I find that the Address Book example works fine, except if I try and add an additional variable to the template, then the same error occurs.
I have attached an example project that displays the same behaviour and the error is below.
Tested on LabVIEW 2014 (14.0.1 SP1) 32 bit on 64 bit Windows 7.

I've been working on your code today and we managed to replicate and fix the error you were seeing.
The Web service does call the ESP file and render the page, but it throws the error because the variable you are trying to set has not been properly declared. We managed to make the error dissapear by changing the ESP text file with notepad as follows.

Before, you had // in front of the variable (making it a comment) and you didn't have "var" in front of it to say you were declaring anything (this is all in the 4th line). Without the proper declaration, the code throws an error when it is called.
