  • Unable to create tickt in service desk - Solution manage.

    Hello,
    I have implemented service desk ( Solution manager) and It is working fine for most of the system but i am getting error while creating a ticket in service desk for one system.
    Due to some RFC connection problem i have regenerated the RFC ( trusted , Read and TMW) from Solman to Satellite system.
    and now I am not bale to create ticket for that system.
    Error message :
    The URL http://cismp.cargotec.com:8014/sap/bc/bsp/sap/dswpnotifcreate/msg_new.do was not called due to an error.

    Hi Prakhar,
    As i mentioned workcenter is working fine for all other systems. and user have all roles same as in other  systems.
    BP is created and we are trying to create ticket from Solman itself  so there is no point to maintain bCOS_CUST table.
    but still we are not able to create ticket only for one system.

    If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system SMP in transaction ST22.
    If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server cismp_SMP_14 in transaction SM21.
    If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 1 in transaction ST11 on the application server cismp_SMP_14 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.
    If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

  • MDM OR BUSINESS OBJECTS  OR WEB DYNPRO or SOLUTION MANAGER

    gurus  can anyone tell me is it helpful to learn MDM or BO or WEB DYNPRO or SOLUTION MANAGER for crm consultants? To what extent this technologies are useful for crm consultants.

    Hi Shiva,
    What kind of SAP CRM Consultant Role you are referring to ? Is it Functional Consultant, Technical Consultant or a Techno Functional Consultant ?
    For a Functional Consultant - SAP Solution Manager and Business Objects makes more sense, while the  a basic understanding of Technologies like (Web Dynpro   ) is also required.
    For Techno Functional Consultant - Web Dynpro       understanding is very important followed by MDM, Business Objects and Solution Manager.
    Hope this has cleared your doubts and thrown some lights on your question.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Samantak.

  • SOAP/Web service based repository manager

    Hi,
    We would like to implement a repository manager using SOAP/Web service messages to connect to the document store.  The solution will have to support most opperations as the WebDAV repository manager supports.  TREX has to be able to crawl for indexing/classification, but I guess that is not a problem.
    Is the some information out there on creating repository managers like this, and how they tie in with ACL managers, cahces etc?

  • Plugin based Web Service with session management

    I am trying to make a web service in java with jax-ws that should support extensions to the service without rebuilding the project. I thought it might be possible to make a standard web service and the let each plugin create their own service, making the client side plugin point to both the standard service and the plugin specific one. This way I could have user management and such in the standard service and the more plugin specific one in an other service. The problem is though, how do I make a common session for all the services? All services are running at the same server and on the same domain name.
    I checked the HTTP headers and found out that the JSESSIONID was changing when I created a new port on the client side. I was trying to implement a SOAPHandler to edit the cookie in the HTTP header, hoping that this will lead to the same session across the services. But found it hard. It was no problem reading the "Set-cookie" header, setting the cookie on the new requests was harder, as the CookieJar object seems to be internal [1]. And the MessageContext.HTTP_REQUEST_HEADERS wasn't created at the time my handlers run. Is there an easy solution to this?
    I am not sure if my idea is a good solution to the main problem, and all other ideas are more than welcome. I hope it is possible to extend the features of my server without rebuilding the project. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask :)

    Could you explain plug in scenario with one example?Ok. We have not chosen exactly how to do this, but the idea is that someone may be able to extend the functionality of our server without rebuilding the project. We thought of something like a jar file with a implementation of some abstract classes. It should at least only be necessary to redeploy the project into the web container. The problem is; how do we let the plugins extend our web interface? One solution we thought of was to let each plugin have it's own service and dynamicly link to the plugin services from the main service that we provide as standard in our server. This way we may have some kind of plugin support on the clients as well, making the client side plugins know what kind of service it needs on the server side and thus extending the functionality all together.
    Hope that explains our scenario. Feel free to comment and add new ideas :)
    Regarding session management, its not advisable to manage the session in web services since that way it will become non interoperable.The documentation we found regarding sessions and jax-ws was all doing sessions with HTTPSessions, and to let the web container handle that.
    On the server side
        @Resource
        private WebServiceContext wsContext;
        private HttpSession getSession() {
            MessageContext mc = wsContext.getMessageContext();
            return ((javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest)mc.get(MessageContext.SERVLET_REQUEST)).getSession();
        HttpSession session = getSession();
        session.setAttribute("User", user);On the client side
    ((BindingProvider)port).getRequestContext().put(BindingProvider.SESSION_MAINTAIN_PROPERTY,true);Do you have other standard options for us on how to do session management? All ideas are more than welcome

  • How to call a web service that is managed by web services manager from omni

    Ok gurus... here is an interesting one for you.
    We have a set of web services that are deployed to our server. We have Oracle Web Services Manager deployed to another server and is acting as a gateway to our web services.
    We would like to call our web service and pass it the username and password that were specified in the omniportlet connection information screen. How do we go about doing this?
    PS. We are using the latest version of portal (10.1.4).
    Thanks for your help.
    Cheers,
    Cory

    Just a follow up. What I would like to do is to have omni portlet add standard header information for security such as the following:
    <soap:Header>
    <wsse:Security xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd">
    <wsse:UsernameToken xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd">
    <wsse:Username>theusername</wsse:Username>
    <wsse:Password>thepassword</wsse:Password>
    </wsse:UsernameToken>
    </wsse:Security>
    </soap:Header>
    Any ideas on how to get omniportlet do this? Any ideas on where to look for the answer? Oracle dudes: Any plans to add this to future releases?
    Thanks again folks :-)

  • Update User Status at Service Desk Solution Manager SP17

    Hi, my name is Tomas Piqueres and I'm working with Solution Manager SP 17.
    Service Desk scenario is working but I have an issue that I explain below:
    I have a message that I'm not able to solve, so I send it to SAP. When SAP returns it to me, I have two status for the same message:
    -User status
    -Status SAP
    The job "refresh message status" is working, so Status SAP is refreshed successfully. The problem is that when Status SAP changes, the User Status doesn't change automatically.
    Please, could you help me?
    Thanks and regards,
    Tomas.

    Hey Rohit,
    I believe your first issue has been answered correctly. As far as your second issue is concerned.
    The SAP Status field only gets filled up when the message is forwarded to SAP Support. This field is set by SAP Support itself. You dont need to manage it.
    As far as Reported by is concerned, thats what you have to configure. For that to be working you first need to create business partners of your users in the satellite system. Eg.  If you are raising a message from userA from your production system. You need to create a business partner of that user in Solution Manager. A unique ID is maintained related to the user and system. Also you will have to maintain his "employee data" , specifically his SAP user id.
    Hope this helps.

    Bilal Nazir

    No you haven't, because
    Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.example.www.Sample_PortType a relevant class can still not be found and Java really is not going to lie to you; this class is not on your application's classpath so it is either missing or put in the wrong place. Note that missing classes can be caused by you forgetting to properly redeploying your application - its usually something silly like that. Figure out what you did wrong and correct your mistake.
    The fact that you have to mention that you "setup the classpath" is questionable; in web applications you don't touch the classpath at all. So what exactly did you do?

  • Services in Solution Manager

    Hello. I'm trying to configure Solution Manager services.
    In service solman, which includes defaultUser and GraphicData, which is the correct handler?
    I’m changing this and obtain different results, anyone ok. Sometimes it does nothing, another times says de URL needs a superior element. The transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER, Operations, System monitoring shows a program code…
    Do you know where can I get documentation related to the services definition?
    Thanks
    Cristina.

    Thanks Ragu for your answer.
    There is an example of what i'm tryin to say:
    I’m trying to define the solman service.
    Transaction SICF, path /default_host/sap/bc/, service solman, double click, Handler list.
    There is nothing here.
    In the Maintein service screen, right button, Test service.
    I get the message: "The message Service  Cannot Be Accessed !"
    So, again in the Handler list, F4, a list of handlers is displayed.
    I don’t know which handler choose. Looking for the word solman, the service CL_SA_HTTP_SOLMAN_GRAPHIC appears.
    Save.
    Test again, and now I receive an internet page, saying:
    "Page XML cannot be displayed
    Entrance XML with the style sheet cannot be seen. Correct the error and click in the button Update, or try again later.
    The XML document must have an element of superior level. Error when processing the resource http://forwadh1.cti:8000/sap/bc/sol..."
    This happens to me with all the services that I'm trying to configure.
    My problem is that I need to configure de Early Watch Alert, and transaction Solution_Manager is not  displayed as I hope. SAP OSS said that I must configure the services first.
    Well, I'm trying to do it, but i'm lost.
    Thanks
    Cristina.

    Hi Bruyneel,
    I've solved the problem. I think while doing kernel or component upgrade SAP clear all configuration that connected from ABAP and JAVA. You can re-config from config tool.
    1. Goto \usr\sap\<SID>\<SIst.Num>\j2ee\configtool and execute go.bat
    2. cluster-data -> global server configuration -> services -> com.sap.security.core.ume.service.
    3. Configure:
    ume.login.guest_user.uniquefields with J2EE_GUEST, and make sure the user is already exist in ABAP
    ume.persistence.data_source_configuration     dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml
    ume.r3.connection.master.ashost
    ume.r3.connection.master.client
    ume.r3.connection.master.passwd : with SAPJSF user's password
    ume.r3.connection.master.sysnr
    ume.r3.connection.master.user : SAPJSF User

  • Type of configuration for web service in SOA manager

    Hi Experts,
    could you please let me know while creating logical port for Web sevice security which type of configuration should I select in SOA manager. There are three types of configuration. 1> WSDL Based Configuration2>Manual Configuration and 3>Process Integration Runtime.
    As per the below link I am going to apply web service security but I dont have authorization to create logical port using t-code lpconfig. So I am trying to create it using SOA manager.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/EN/b8/cb1141e109ef6fe10000000a1550b0/content.htm
    Regards,
    Sari

    Hi Krishna,
    Thanks for your reply. But here I am not creating any consumer proxy. I want to create  only logical port for CO_WSSEWSSPROCESSOR_VI_DOCUMEN as mentioned in above link. I dont have any wsdl link for the same.Here I want to create logical port where I can mention the RFC for the integration server as per defined by below link.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/EN/b8/cb1141e109ef6fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
    When I am creating logical port by manual , its not allowing me mention any HTTP destination. By default its showing me as 'unknown' HTTP destination.
    Please let me know if I have missed out any configuration. As per above link Java part  configurationI have done successfully. But for ABAP part I am confussed while creating logical port.
    Regards,
    Sari

  • Web service authentication/session management using Axis2

    I'm creating a web service using Axis2 where the client will need to login to the service and maintain a session. I'm trying to figure out a good way to do this. I've read the article on the following link:
    http://www.developer.com/services/article.php/3620661/Axis2-Session-Management.htm
    and it describes 4 main ways of doing this: Request Session Scope, Soap session scope, Transport session scope, and Application scope. However, it doesn't give much detail in actually implementing this. It says to add a parameter to services.xml like this:
    <service name="foo" scope=" transportsession">
    </service>
    but what about the actual code that goes in the server and client to actually handle the login process and verify the username/password in an SQL database on the server? I'm having a lot of trouble finding a good tuturial on this. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm also open to other ideas that don't necessarily directly involve Axis2.

    Session management for a web service and already answered. Locking.

  • Web service in event management

    Hi,
    My client reqiuies a web service engine for external notification by carrier or customer in event management.Can I suggest alert framework configuration for this.

    Do you mean you created the web service in Query as a Web Service (QaaWS)?  And then you edited the Query in QaaWS as well?  Did you republish?  Can you reopen the Query in QaaWS and see that it is updated. I woudl first make sure the Web Service really is updated.
    Next, try creating a new data connection to the web service (you will have to remap everything anyway). Does it have the correct columns?
    How are you connecting to your prompt?  Is it mapped to a cell?  How is that cell being updated?
