    I NEED SOME MATERIAL TO READ ABOUT.

    Hi,
    Sorry for your frustration.
    I tried the other day and had a similar problem. I got around this by logging out of the forum.
    If this doesn't help, you may need to clean the browser cache, closing all browsers and restarting
    the browser. If still no luck, try rebooting your machine.

  • How to Install the Downloaded NetBeans(*.nbm) Modules for Sun Java Studio

    Dear All,
    I have downloaded NetBeans Modules files with Extension *.nbm, and they are not getting installed, when I double click on them, or if I go through the Update Center and Select the Downloaded Modules even then also they are not getting installed, so please tell me the procedure how to install them.
    mahesh.

    It would be helpful to know which version of Java SE you are using, what NetBeans modules are you attemping to install, and any pertinent error messages that arise when you try to install the modules. As Jin_B pointed out, check the system/ide.log file in your .jstudio directory for possible error messages.

  • Create Entity Service as Web Service wrapper for Netweaver dev studio 7.1

    Hi,
    I am totally new to Netweaver.
    I was trying to create a CAF service that wraps my own service.On searching i found this document
    [https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/11669cea-0c01-0010-63b2-b98c35b1b370] where the process was mentioned.But this document is on netweaver 7.0 and i am working on 7.1 .
    Here while trying to create a entity service, its mentioned in the doc to right click on the entity service node..but in my netweaver i dont find that node anywhere..the only nodes i see are external and modeled..I am assuming the components must have chaged for version 7.1..
    Can anyone tell me where i can find the updated documentation for Netweaver 7.1 to create a entity service as a webservice wrapper.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Example code download for "The JavaTM Web Services Tutorial "

    Web page at http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.0/tutorial/doc/Preface.html#63740 describes the follwoing way to get code example
    ==========================================
    If you are viewing this online, you need to download The Java Web Services Tutorial from:
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/downloads/webservicestutorial.html
    Once you have installed the tutorial bundle, the example source code is in the <JWSDP_HOME>/docs/tutorial/examples directory, with subdirectories for each of the technologies included in the pack.
    ==========================================
    However, following the link, I download file jwsdp-1_5_01-tutorial.zip. But this zip does not contain a docs/tutorial/.. directory.
    Any hint? Thanks in advance.

    Did you set up the database as described in

  • Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8.1

    I have an application developed with Forte For Java. Since Forte for java is no longer supported by Sun, I'd like to create a new project with Sun Java Studio Enterprise and migrate the existing java files into the new project so that I can debug and compile with Sun Java Studio Enterprise. Can anybody give some suggestions on how to do this? Or, could anybody tell me where to find a tutorial about Sun Java Studio Enterprise? I found a tutorial here: http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jsenterprise/learning/tutorials/index.jsp , but it is only for creating a new project from scratch with UML modeling feature. This doesn't seem to be very helpful for my situation. Thank you!

    I installed Sun Java Studio but I couldn't find the option allowing me to create a new project from scratch. In New Project dialog, there are four options: Standard, UML, Web, Samples. When I select Standard, the description says "Imports an existing Java application into a free-form IDE project. A free-form project uses your existing Ant build script to run, compile, and debug your project." I know I can use the option UML to create a new project with assistance of UML model diagram, but this is not what I want.
    Does anybody have suggestions on this? Thanks in advance.

  • Error while running 10g web services tutorial

    I am trying to learn and evaluate JDev 10g. I followed the web services tutorial for 10g. In the end when I tried to run the example I get the following error. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi,
    Unfortunately, your web service is failing at runtime because JDeveloper (and more specifically, the embedded OC4J) is installed in a directory whose path contains a space character. If you move JDeveloper from "Program Files" to another directory, perhaps "Program_Files", then it'll all go smoothly.
    Apologies if this causes you inconvenience.

    Alan.

  • Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8 minimal requirements

    Hi everybody.
    I want to buy a laptop in a week or two.
    Would celeron 1.6 processor + 512 MB memory be enough for Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8?
    Where can I find it's requirements?
    Sincerely,
    Nikita

    You can find the system requirements from the links above. But if you are developing Enterprise Applications, then you will be running the IDE with the Applicaiton Server (or WebServer). Also note that if the applications your are working on have thousands of classes, the minimum requirements may work but will cause you frustration.
    In the end, the processor you list will probably do the trick, but you may want more memory if you are working on larger projects.

  • Create web service client for javafx project in netbeans 6.8

    I here have a javafx project and need to create a web service client for it (in netbeans 6.8).
    However when I right click this project -> new -> web service client -> input wsdl location\package -> finish, it seems that the client code is never generated. This is quite different from what happens when creating web service client for a java project.
    Anyone knows how is this happening?

    Thanks for your reply.
    I did write my own ws client code but I need to create a web proxy based on an appointed wsdl path. That requires me to create a web service client from netbeans 6.8, like what I described in my first post. Unfortunately, it's not behaving like what I imagined it should do for a java project, even the javafx file itself doesn't have any error. The error occurs in package definition line.
    package fx;For the definition above, it cannot access java.lang.builtins.
    The question now is about the possibility to include javafx file in an non-javafx, say, java project. Any comments?
    ---Regards.

  • How to call Web Services with Sun Java Studio Creator?

    Can someone from Sun please explain how to use the sample Web Services USWeather and GoogleSearch in Sun Java Studio Creator (no Portlet Application)?
    I read the Web Service Tutorial Accessing Web Services (http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/learning/tutorials/2/webservices.html) and this blog entry: http://blogs.sun.com/roller/page/winston?entry=code_google_search_in_no .
    But the proposed solutions do not work with the services USWeather and GoogleSearch.
    Thank you.

    Thank you for your answer, dongmei.
    It seems that the MethodResultTableDataProvider does not return the response of the web service as a value field if the WSDL contains only one result element.
    E.g. from WSDL of the USWeather Web Service which returns theGetWeatherReportResult string:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <wsdl:definitions xmlns:http="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/http/" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" xmlns:s="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:tns="http://www.webserviceX.NET" xmlns:tm="http://microsoft.com/wsdl/mime/textMatching/" xmlns:mime="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/mime/" targetNamespace="http://www.webserviceX.NET" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/">
      <wsdl:types>
        <s:schema elementFormDefault="qualified" targetNamespace="http://www.webserviceX.NET">
          <s:element name="GetWeatherReport">
            <s:complexType>
              <s:sequence>
                <s:element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1" name="ZipCode" type="s:string" />
              </s:sequence>
            </s:complexType>
          </s:element>
          <s:element name="GetWeatherReportResponse">
            <s:complexType>
              <s:sequence>
                <s:element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1" name="GetWeatherReportResult" type="s:string" />
              </s:sequence>
            </s:complexType>
          </s:element>
          <s:element name="string" nillable="true" type="s:string" />
        </s:schema>If I drag the web service method on the page and I should be able to select the response value in the Bind to Data dialog box. But there is no value field. Value fields only occur if the web service returns more than one value.
    The question is how can I get the response GetWeatherReportResult from the service.

  • Can't find java source to web services tutorial

    When I down load the Java Web Services Tutorial zip file, all that is in there are html files. I've read all sorts of references to the source, even a directory structure, but I cannot find the files.
    I have gone to:
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/downloads/webservicespack.html
    And clicked on the Java WebServices Tutorial, v1.5_01 Download.
    The java source files to the tutorial are NOT in that zip file.

    Hmm, the URL for the tutorial you gave isn't working for me.
    I've checked a bit more through the tutorial and JWSDP examples, and they all match for me. I'm looking at JWSDP version 1.5, and the tutorial here:
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.5/tutorial/doc/index.html
    I can't find a 'HelloService' in this tutorial (I also have the tutorial downloaded, grep gave no results). The tutorial refers to, for example, to an example in <JWSDP_HOME>/xmldsig/samples/validate, which I have in my JWSDP. (The page that refers to this example is http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.5/tutorial/doc/XMLDigitalSignatureAPI8.html#wp511406)
    If you're really looking at the tutorial version 1.3 (as the URL looks) that could explain it. So, my hunch is a version mismatch, but I could be way off the mark.

  • Could not run the bookstore1 example from the Java Web Services Tutorial

    The bookstore1 servlets example from the Java Web Services Tutorial (issue Aug 1, 2002) was built and deployed successfully by using the deploytool (following the steps described on pages 498ff of the tutorial).
    After deploying the application the Tomcat Web Application Manager shows the entry:
    /bookstore1:stopped:0:D:\Programme\Java\tomcat\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.8\work\Standalone\localhost\manager\bookstore1.war
    when entering the command: http://localhost:8080/manager/list.
    After entering the command: http://localhost:8080/manager/start?path=/bookstore1, the (uncomplete) message appears:
    FAIL - Application at context path /bookstore1 could not
    It should be noted that I was able to build and deploy the application GSApp (chapter 3 of the tutorial) successfully.

    Did you set up the database as described in
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.0/tutorial/doc/WebApp13.html#69868

  • Cannot complie the example at Java Web Services Tutorial 1.3,Ch3

    Hi all,
    At the Java Web Services Tutorial 1.3 Chapter 3, there has an example but I cannot compile!
    The is the output of ant:
    C:\jwsdp-1.3\jwstutorial13\examples\gs>ant build
    Buildfile: build.xml
    BUILD FAILED
    file:C:/jwsdp-1.3/jwstutorial13/examples/common/targets.xml:1: taskdef class org.apache.catalina.ant.ListTask cannot be found
    Total time: 5 seconds
    Would you please give me an idea to solve this problem?
    Thanks
    Chris

    Ok...this is driving me nuts!!!
    I am getting the same error (blah blah blah...ListTask cannot be found) and I have looked over the forum and copied over the catalina-ant.jar file into the apache-ant/lib dir. I have also included every path I can think of in the PATH env var and CLASSPATH env var...
    PATH = C:\jwsdp-1.3\jwsdp-shared\bin;D:\pipeline\products\cygwin\bin;D:\Ant\apache-ant-1.5.4\bin;C:\jwsdp-1.3\apache-ant\bin;D:/pipeline/products/jdk;D:/lcms/products/jdk
    pipeline is where my jdk (I have two different versions because two different apps) is and the ref to D:\Ant...is for another app.
    CLASSPATH = C:\Program Files\Altova\xmlspy\XMLSpyInterface.jar;C:\jwsdp-1.3\server\lib\catalina-ant.jar;C:\jwsdp-1.3\common\lib
    ignore the XMLSpy stuff
    please help...thanks ahead of time.
