Web Services shows connected get apps says can't connect

Wireless connected, eprint works, webservices shows enabled, but get apps says can't connect with Internet, yet able to print some apps from Printables at HP Connected. Diagnostic tests all Positive. Why won't get apps connect to the Internet?

Hi @Bean79
Thank you for being an active member of the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are unable to access any of the apps on your Photosmart 7510 printer.
I have included a link to a post by @PrintApper regarding the Printables titled HP Apps Service Retired on several printers.  It has the information regarding the apps on your printer.

  • No web services show under web services node in app server navigator

    Hi,
    (JDev 11.1.1.5.0 and WLS 10.3.3.0)
In JDeveloper Help, the topic Publishing Web Services to a UDDI Registry says:
    1. Deploy the web service to Oracle WebLogic Server.
    2. In Application Server navigator, expand the application server node.
    3. Expand the web services node and locate the node (which represents the WSDL) of the web service you want to publish.
    4. Right-click the WSDL node and choose Publish WSDL to UDDI to launch the Publish WSDL to UDDI Registry dialog.
I did 1, 2 & 3 but nothing shows under the web services node in the app server navigator.
There are lots of web services in that server, not only the one I had just deployed.
    What can be wrong?
    Thanks
    Luis

    Hi SilverCat,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems getting your claim code to setup ePrint on your Officejet 6700.
Yes you can obtain the printer claim code.  There are a couple different ways that you can do so. The steps to do so can be found in your user's guide starting on page 69.  I have included a link to your User Guide.  The easiest is to do it from the front panel of the printer.  I have included a document on getting your printer claim code and it has those steps for you.  I have also included a document on getting started with HP's ePrint for additional reference.

    Hi MaBek,
Can you check if your printers IP address is valid.
If you have a laptop or PC connected to the same network, open a browser and type the IP address in the address bar and hit enter.
This should open a Embedded web Server page if the IP address is valid.
Here you can navigate to Web Services tab and click on enable to enable web services.

To check the local network for some of the common configuration problems, launch Terminal.app and issue the following diagnostic command:
    sudo changeip -checkhostname
That'll report some local configuration information and then either no errors detected and no changes required, or it'll point to whatever configuration errors or issues it might detect.  That doesn't catch everything, but it catches the common errors.
FWIW, 192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.1.0/24 are poor choices for the local network, as VPNs are based on IP routing and IP routing gets tangled when the same subnet is used on both ends of the VPN. 192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.1.0/24 are near ubiquitous in home networks and coffee shops.

  • Axis - Web service is not getting deployed on https

I am using axis api for creating web service and Tomcat to deploy it. When I deploy the web service first time, it works perfectly, but If I upgrade my web
application, the server-config.wsdd file gets deleted from WEB-INf directory of my web application.
If I try to deploy the web service again, it does not get deployed on https, but on http it gets deployed. I am using following commands to deploy the web
    service:
    On HTTPS:
    java -Djavax.net.ssl.keystore=/root/.keystore -Djavax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword=password org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient -lhttps://localhost/serviceURL
    deploy.wsdd
    HTTP:
    java org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient -lhttp://localhost/serviceURL deploy.wsdd
When I deploy the web service on http, the server-config.wsdd file gets created automatically and the web service gets deployed, but the problem is on https.
Web service does not gets deployed on https and the server-config.wsdd file is not created. Even if I create the server-config.wsdd file manually, the web
service does not get deployed on https. Once I deploy the web service on http, I am able to deploy it on https.
Please help resolving the issue. Thanks.

    Hi Reema,
    Thanks for your reply.
But here I am not doing replication, I am working on initial upload of vendor master.
For all the standard fields its working fine.
but we have some 'Z' fields so I enhanced the web service with 'Z' fields after that I am not able to save and activate the web service.
Please find above screenshot for error.
Please let me know if I am missing some setting or anything.
    Thanks,

  • Can a Web Service be Connected to XI for Capturing Error Messages?

    Hello,
Several years we developed a Web Service from Sap to Sharepoint. The issue is that we often get an "Error at Target of Invocation" intermittently. The first thing we do of course is to make sure the SAP connection password has not expired. Also, whenever mapping is changed we use the Web Service to create a new WSDL file that is compatible. Importantly, we assume that the connection from a Sharepoint is being made, because to run one of the processes from Sharepoint, while connecting to SAP, there is  no problem. However, when we run a different process that uses the same Sharepoint to SAP connection, we get the error at target of invocation message.
The .NET developer will sometimes recycle the Sharepoint process that clears the cache, and for now, we think, that may be the issue. Still we are not positive, and this message does not reveal the real issue. Is there a way to connect the Web Service to XI to capture any issues in between the two systems that would uncover what the real issue is?
      Thanks, Tom M.

    Hi Tom,
AFAIK  We can raise alerts in PI system , if any messages fail for the interface (PI to .Net Webservice). But if any connection issue occurred , Receiver server will be having more information/log traces why exactly connection occurred. I will recommend to get the trace from receiver system (Server on which Webservice was hosted) and analyze the trace and find the root cause.
    Thanks
    Hari.

  • Web Services not connecting to Network

I have set up and used my ENVY 114 and Web Services. Right now my printer says it cannot connect to the Network. I can use the wireless printing from my iphone, ipad, and macbooks.  But when I try to ise Web Services like eFax - I get an error message saying I cannot connect to the Network. ePrint is on. I have set up a new connection to the Netowrk. The password is correct, I have passed all Network Tests with a Very Good signal strength. • Error trying to set up web services/HP Connections (ePrint) for HP Envy 5530

I have been trying to set-up my new Envy 5530 printer and I can get the printer, computer, and wireless network to communicate with each other. However, when I try to get the printer and network to talk to each other to set up Web Services and HP Connections, the printer tries to download the latest product updates and has a server error saying it cannot connect to the server It wants me to check the connections or set a proxy server address. Also, when I try to get a claim code printed, I run into this same issue. Help!!

  • Infopath 2013 SOAP Web Service Data Connection - Error: The file is not a valid XML file

Here are the steps to replicate the issue I’m having when adding lists.asmx or any other SharePoint web service in InfoPath 2013. This web service opens fine in the browser from my desktop. My account is a farm administrator and is added to the
web application’s User Policy.  I can use these services just fine using Nintex 2013 Workflow.
    Open InfoPath Designer 2013.
Select Blank Form and click Design Form button.
    Click “Data” tab.
Click “From Web Service” and select “From SOAP Web Service”
Enter https://mysiteurl.com/_vti_bin/lists.asmx?WSDL for the web service definition.
    Click Next.
    Windows Security window pops up.
Enter a credential. I tried both my account and the farm account. My account is a farm admin and is added to the web application’s User Policy with Full Control.
Click OK. It prompts for credential multiple times.
I get below this error messages:
    Sorry, we couldn't open https://mysiteurl.com/_vti_bin/lists.asmx?WSDL
InfoPath cannot find or cannot access the specified Web Service description.
The file is not a valid XML file.
Not enough storage is available to process this command.
We have a project that is in need of these services using InfoPath so any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Brian_TX,
For your issue, try to the following methods:
Change your service binding in web.config to:binding="basicHttpBinding". It seems in VS it defaults to wsHttpBinding.
Replace all instances of "parameters" from the web service wsdl with the name "parameter"

  • Web Service 'Home Page' in WLS 9, can I have one like WLS 8.1 ?

    Hi,
I've been using Web Services on WebLogic Server for a long time. I've just migrated from WLS 8.1 to WLS 9.2.
With 8.1, if a user entered the Endpoint of the Web service in a browser they got a nice page which showed the operations for the Web Service.
With 9.2 I'm getting a very basic page with a link to the WSDL and to the Test Page.
Is there any way I can get a nice page that looks like the one in 8.1 ?
    Thanks
    Dave

Not sure if this is an exact match to your problem, but I've had problems with systems based on WebAS 7.00 truncating the hostname when generating the url for the WSDL.  You may want to check the hostname is complete.

    Nick

  • Renabled web services but new printer code says this printer already assigned to someone

I had to remove then reenable web services. Print out gave me new code to add printer again.signed in with same login as when first registered but after entering new code it says invalid. Just got new code so its not 24 he's yet. Says this printer already assigned to someone. Yeah me! But I know its removed when I remove web services then enable. Plus it doesn't show any printer for my login. I know I have to assign new email address but can't add my D110 printer. Help!

    Hey lori6464!
Sorry you are having a problem! If you just reset web services, try resetting it again. I'm not sure why the code wouldn't work for you but if you generate another code, it should work. Let me know if you need more help!

  • Web Services Server Connection Error

Although I was able to add my printer to hpeprintcenter successfully, after a few hours it was showing disconnected.  When I pressed refresh I received a popup saying my printer had been removed.  After clicking ok on the popup my printer was still listed and it's state was disconnected.  Some advice I read suggested I disable Web Services from my printer's menu and renable it which would give it a new email adddress.  I disabled it, but now when I try to enable Web Services the printer displays "Server Connection Error There was a problem connecting to the Server. Touch retry to connect again, or OK to Exit.".  I have retried multple times for the last 12 hours with no success.  Any suggestions?

I don't want to jump to that conclusion just yet. When you set the static IP from the front panel of the printer, did it let you set a static DNS? The static DNS is the important part of that step. If it didn't let you set the static DNS, go into the printer's EWS by typing it's IP address into a web browser. Set the printer to use Google's DNS (Preferred = 8.8.8.8 : Alternate = 8.8.4.4). Once you set the static DNS, power down the printer and router. Turn the router back on first and let it stabilize before turning the printer back on. It normally takes a minute or two for a router to stabilize. Let me know what happens.
