in my view: Please use a file manager (windows explorer, speedcommander) to copy the missing files into your directorys from where you load up your files onto your server.
Speedcommander e.g. is able to find out the differences between the different files (synchronizing files).
What concerns your different versions, I solved this with translated websites as you can see it here (see Swedish flags):

Try the Firefox SafeMode.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

Can't save pdf from a web site - HELP!

I can't seem to save pdf files from a brokerage account. I have Reader 9, and one one PC, there is no "save icon" on the tool bar, and no "wording tool bar" -ie, no headong of: File - Edit - View, etc. On the other , there is no edit portion of the tool bar.
On the one PC that displays the picture of the floppy disc - the "save icon"- when I click on it, nothing happens. I think i have a problem with the security settings, but can't figure it out. the financial advisor company can save it just fine, so i think the problem is in my PCs.
There is a security section that says the contents of the pdf can be copied, butdoesn't work not in the file copy mode. (These are not "fill out the form" pdfs, just regular files posted to a web site to allow viewing, downloading, printing, etc. i could print, but want to save electronically instead.
Any ideas?

I have also had this problem with some different web sites - you mention that possibly it is a security issue so I added the web site I was having this problem with to my "Trusted Sites" list and re-tried saving the PDF and it worked! Don't know if this will solve your problem, but it did work for me (still don't understand why some sites work and others require an entry in the "Trusted Sites" list. I'm running Windows 7 (32 bit) and my Adobe version is 9.4.2 and I'm using Internet Explorer 8. Hope this solution works for you.

Conection not encrypted and i cant aces web site help

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

How can I see content on web sites that require adobe flash player?

We installed a web tv from our clinic but it requires adobe flash player, how can I see this stuff?

Despite what has been said, there is no Flash player for iOS devices.

There are some browsers like Skyfire that can play some Flash content, but performance varies so try different apps to see if any can display the sites you go to...but don't expect greatness.

Cant install ne ipod software from cd or from web site help!

Im so frustrated im about to set fire to my ipod mini, at the moment i cant download itunes or the ipod updater from my installation cd or the website, with the cd when i put it into my computer nothing happens, and on thew site i get to the screen that says "thank you for downloading itunes your download will happen automatically" and then nothing happnes someone please help!

1st: Have a break.
2nd: This is a problem with your computer that won't mount CDs
3rd: Try another browser or look for a "non-automatic" link on the website
4th: Have another break and reboot your computer.

this depends which default template you are using
BW 3.0 (0QUERY_TEMPLATE):
Please follow instructions in

Create a copy of 0QUERY_TEMPLATE and use the functionality upload and download from server. Do not edit directly in WAD.
In the document find the "Display Export Excel" Comment and "Display Export CSV" Comment, and delete or comment those td tags.
Then make your template the new default template.
In BW 3.5 with 0ADHOC the procedure is quite the same, but you have to copy 2 templates 0ADHOC and 0ADHOC_TABLE.
In 0ADHOC_TABLE find also the same Comments and delete or comment the following area. Save the template under a new name.
In 0ADHOC search for 0ADHOC_TABLE. Should be somehow look like
 <param name="TEMPLATE_ID" value="0ADHOC_TABLE"/>
 ITEM: GR1Toolbar
and change 0ADHOC_TABLE to your template name.
Save this template to a new name and set it as default template (see link above).

I'm on a web site that requires a user name and password to enter the site., but Firefox has never asked me if I want to save this info. Is it possible to do this even though Firefox never asked me?

This is the only site that Firefox has not asked me to save user name and password.

The website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving the name and password.
You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save the name and password.

Can you post links to pages that give that error?
Did you try to remove cert8.db in the [[Profiles|Profile folder]] or tested with a new profile ?

Web sites do not require me to authenticate after FF4 closes

I recently upgraded to FF4. Web site that require authentication even after I close Firefox - maintain that username and password rom the pop up box that appears assking for my login and password. It isn't a setting I have turned on. The only way to fully log out of a site that has a pop up log-in authentication is to clear everything.

Thanks but it's not a problem of connexion. The bulk of the sites open properly, just some do not load images or do not open properly (only text as on some mobile devices). I tried everything I found on this forum - changing user, disabling plugins, reinstall, change preferences... nothing works. Really annoying

Safari 2.0.3 : certain web sites don't recognize correct login/password

Just upgraded to 10.4.4 and with this to safari 2.0.3.
From this day on I can't gain access to some web sites that require a log/pass because it says it is incorrect. ( Note the password I type is the correct one and works with explorer...).
One of these sites is msn passport.net: in this case the web site asks me to rewrite some characters that appear in a box, and when I do it says that they don't match.
It seems as if the charcters I write are not interpreted the same way by the web site.
I have cookies active, I emptyied cache... don't have other ideas.
Anyone can be of help?

Update: I ran Console upon trying to load a web site that won't load. Here are the messages from that action with any identical messages deleted:

I forgot to note I have also done the obvious things like computer restart, shut down, and modem reset.

Keychain and web site passwords

Can someone explain how to use Keychain to store web site passwords? I've searched on the forums, read the help, and asked at the Apple Store. Or am I mistaken as to the purpose of Keychain? Is it only to store email access passwords? The Apple Store employee told me that when I login to a site and Safari asks me if I want it to save the password info, I just need to answer yes. But it seems to me that anyone can access the Safari passwords. Or am I confused? Do the Safari passwords automatically get encrypted into Keychain?
When using Windows I use Roboform to securely store passwords. When I choose a login account, Roboform automatically navigates to the site and enters my password information. I would like the same ease of use on my Mac. I thought Keychain might be the way to do it.
Can someone clarify things for me? Or perhaps suggest a Roboform equivalent? Thank you.

Personally, I just have one keychain. Its contents are stored here:
"/Users/francine/Library/Keychains/login.keychain"
When I go to a web site that requires me to create an account, with a login and a password, I do so. When I log in Safari asks if I want to allow it remember the password. I say Yes. From then on when I go to the log in page of that web site Safari automatically fills in the log in information, so I just have to click the button to log in. Some sites have an option you can check that makes it completely automatic--you go there and you are logged. In Safari's Preferences you have to go the AutoFill section and check the box to have it autofill "User names and passwords" for it to fill the forms in, and for the fully automatic you have to have "Accept cookes" enabled in Security.
If I open my login.keychain I can see all the items it is storing--there are a couple of dozen, including some ftp passwords, Airpost passwords, application passwords, iTunes, and the 20+ web site passwords.
Even if you leave yourself logged in to your account no one can read your passwords--unless they know your admin password. They could, of course, go to your password protected sites and automatically login. But they wouldn't learn your passwords.
Once in a blue moon Safari or the keychain has a memory failure and I'll be asked if the application can have access to the keychain. I click the button for "Always Allow" and I'm back in business.

Finding E-Store Builder in the Sitebuilder in My Web Site

I am trying to find the E-Store Builder function in the Verizon, Fios, My Web Site, SiteBuilder site.
In SiteBuilder if you select Help, Index, E, scroll to E-Store builder you will find 20 or so functions describing the E-Store builder and adding products and allowing people to buy products using standard shopping cart and checkout functions.
I have pressed every button and selected every format and option and cannot activate the function.
I have called Verizon and they say they can't help.   I called Trellix, now Web.com and they say call Verizon.
Any help with this feature would be appreciated..

On the Business Tools there is PayPal, Coupon Builder, Forms, Table Gallery and Amazon.   No e-Store builder.   I also checked Recommended, Cool Content, Interactive Features, Multimedia without success.
On the Add On there is a line that says: Miva Merchant Premium but has no active links or explanation.
I called Trellix which is now Web.com and they do not support Verizon version and can provide no help because I am not a paying customer.   They offer a $19.95 a month web hosting using the same SiteBuilder.   I called Verizon and they say they do not support SiteBuilder.
Has anyone out there used SiteBuilder with e-Store Builder to create a site with shopping cart and checkout?.   (Check My Web Site, Help, Index, E-Store Builder for lots of info.)

DOD access card certificates not recognized when trying to access web sites with a card reader while older version of firefox did.

In the past I have been able to access web sites that require certificates pulled from a common access card inserted into a card reader attached to my Mac. Since I have updated to the newer version of Firefox, the sites that I am trying to gain entry to are not recognizing either the card, card reader or those certificates. If I use Safari or my work computer, the sites recognize my card and certificates and I am grated entry. I would use Safari but I like the format of Firefox for the specific tasks that require the access card. Just looking for a solution. Firefox does open other sites just fine. It's just the ones that require the card, reader and certificates.
