Web sites crash

when I start up Firefox 4.0.Beta 8 and it goes to my home page and when I go to another web site it say on the tab saying connecting and don't stop. When I try to click on any links it don't work. The only way I can close the broswer it pressing the x and when I go to start up Firefox again, get a message saying firefox is still open. I went to google.com for search and it has the same thing as connection on the tab and try clicking on any links but will not click and the web page crash

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

I Have tried to get to the apple web site today and every time I try to access it safari crashes. I can not understand how apples own web site can crash its browser on iPad. ApparentLynn chrome does not have this issue

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

How can I stop my bank's web site crashing Firefox

After Firefox's latest upgrade, I can no longer access my bank's web site (www.ca-nmp.fr) with Firefox. Whenever I try Firefox locks up.
Other browsers are fine, and I am not aware of any changes to the site around the same time. Of course I can migrate to Chrome, but I have used Firefox for years. Any suggestions as to what can be done?
I use Win XP Pro SP3 etc

Does Firefox crash (close) or does Firefox only stop responding?
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Web sites crash IE11

Many web sites I visit daily cause IE11 to close and reopen, and this can make some of those sites impossible to use. I have not yet found a fix that works. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft Siverlight and also Java. When will a fix finally
work?

Toolbars can be a issue. I have not found extensions to be a big one. I have basic add on's like Flash, Silverlight and Microsoft helpers. I have the most issues with IE with compatibility issues with a web site and IE. Normally I go to Compatibility View
and add the site to see if that works. Some popular sites still prefer IE 8 and its no wonder since so many still use Windows XP. If your using Windows 8 I guess your stuck with IE 11. If your using Windows 7 you can downgrade (uninstall) IE 11 which will
give you IE 10 and you can even go further and downgrade to IE 9. But I think IE 10 would solve much of your issues. The other option is install another browser to use on sites that IE 11 don't work well with.

Firefox crashes when I try to print from Yahoo mail and some web sites

I am running Mac, OSX 10.4.11. Firefox has automatically upgraded me to version 3.6.15 and variations in between for months now.
I have been having problems printing to my Epson CS5800F for at least a couple of weeks if not months. I'm not really sure which version it began with, only that it's been weeks.
Printing from web sites is intermittent. From Yahoo! mail it is almost daily. I have downloaded and reinstalled the Epson printer drivers which seemed to solve the problem for about a day. Then I was right back where I started. I am very frustrated and aggravated because I need to be able to print e-mail and web site information. And I did not have this problem in the past.
Is there a fix for this problem? Can I revert back to an earlier version of Firefox where I did not have this problem? I cannot upgrade my OSX to fix this... as this is not an option on this Mac.

I am looking at your about: crashes advice to find crash incidences, but there is no "about: crashes" on my location bar... I have 8 options under about and none of them say crashes.

Okay... i pasted it below, as I didn't read that far down before I posted it here. I cannot find the Crash ID(s) which would be in multiples this past week.
I have submitted all crash reports, at the time of crashing, or so it seems, as the crash report window says it will report my crashes. There have been many in the past week... too many to count. And, I have requested help in the last 3 or 4 of them... and entered my e-mail address, plus a request for assistance, but so far, no replies or information has been submitted back to me at my e-mail address. So, I am wondering if this really works, and if you are getting my reports at all.
I really need to get this problem fixed so I can stop wasting so much time restarting and copying and pasting items into text to print. This is not how a browser should work. And I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback I can get to resolve this problem asap. I need to be efficient in my work and this is not allowing that.

Safari (and FF) crashes constanly when visiting specific web sites

Hi guys,
as of couple of hours ago I'm having huge problems with almost any sort of web browsing I am trying to do. But let's start this story at the start...
Few days ago I finally got a chance to get to my external hard drive and make a backup of my data so that I could upgrade to 10.5.6. After doing the backup I upgraded and I thought that there were no problems.
But then first problems started to appear with Firefox which I occasionally use (primary browser safari) - all of a sudden it started crashing, as far as my initial debugging went that was usually (but not exclusively) when visiting sites with https connection - first problem I actually noticed on mozzillas own add-on page and for a couple of days thought that maybe it is Firefoxs problem since everything else seemed to work just fine.
Now this morning my safari crashes - I wasn't shocked as I had about 40 windows opened and about 200 tabs in those windows so although it worked just fine before that I wasn't particularly worried and tried (with no luck, bummer) restoring the session. Soon I realized that crashes are so frequent and severe that browser became unusable - I couldn't restore a session, on a particular page it crashes immediately after I start to scroll, but if I browse onto subsections of the page I may use the web site without problems for some time.
Anyway, after googling and thinking that maybe I have problems because of an update and some kind of strange incompatibility between one of the plugins and safari I removed everything from /Library/Internet Plugins and /Library/InputManagers but that still didn't resolve the problem so although I stared at the output that safari gives at crahes for some time I have no idea what is causing this problem.
Already tried verifying disk (everything seems ok), but I can't run any hardware tests (personally I am suspecting RAM, although games run with no problems and only FF and safari crashed) until tomorrow since I don't have my install DVD with me. If anyone can give a suggestion before then I would deeply appreciate it.
Maybe also relevent but no idea how - when I press report after crash my mac makes the same sound as if I would just wake it up from sleep. Go figure why. :>

Yep, installing some fonts which were already installed was the cause of the issue. After removing them the problem seems to go away.

Each time I click an email link on any web site, however, it just opens up a blank page instead of one of my email programs.

It doesn't match yours exactly. There is an iframe with a Google map in it in the "Hosting Analysis" section, which in your pasted page seems to be the "Site Server" section.

Firefox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 use a process called, "plugin-container.exe" which was using up most of my CPU when I opened up multiple tabs that contained Adobe Flash files, and caused Firefox to lock up.
My solution was to use Firefox 3.5.10 which you can get from the Mozilla website at [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]
I am using Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64 without any problem in this version of Firefox. Check the release notes, I believe it contains all the latest security fixes in "Firefox 3.6.4".
Hopefully, they will fix Firefox 3.6 in the next version (e.g. Firefox 3.6.7), until then you should probably use "Firefox 3.5.10".

I have a "welcome" sound byte on my web site, The Northern Bard. Whenever I open it in Firefox, there is a QuickTime crash and the sound byte doesn't play.

I have had a web site on Tripod since 1997. The opening page has Madeline Kahn doing the Lilly von Schtupp welcome from "Blazing Saddles", which plays on IE, Chrome, and other browsers, but NOT on Firefox. It's very annoying, when I keep getting updates from QuickTime on my desktop, to keep getting the "QuickTime has crashed" message, I keep REPEATEDLY sending crash reports, I've done all you tell me to do to get it to quit doing that, yet the problem continues.
How about either giving REAL solutions to the problem or fix whatever bug Firefox has up it's chimney so that people using Firefox to visit my web site can hear the music and sound bytes I programmed in to make my pages fun?

Site crashes when a web part is added

SharePoint site crashes while adding a list web part to site. any suggestion to make this web part work.

Unhandled exceptions in the web part crashes the page. Use try catch and assign the exception to a label on the webpart..
for example:

Now you should be able to see the error on the webpart label.
Also you can append ?contents=1 in the page url, and delete the webpart on the page.

Firefox crashes on some web sites because of Shockwave Flash plug-in

I have the latest Firefox running on updated Windows Vista SP2. Each time I go to my Google+ site, FF opens it and then crashes. I have located the problem for this crash to the Adobe Flash plug-in. When I disable the Shockwave Flash plug-in, crashes would stop. The Shockwave plug-in is updated to the latest version, and I even re-installed it, which didn't help. I have similar crashes on some other sites during searches. It becomes rather frequent and irritating. Please suggest some options how to deal with that.

Thanks for reply. I do have the updated version of Trusteer Rapport. It is really interesting - I disable Shockwave Flash, and the crashes would stop. Then I would enable the Shockwave and stop the Rapport, the crashes would also stop. However, when they both are active - Firefox crashes all the time on Google+ web site. I do not have the same problem with Google Chrome and IE-9, only Firefox. I will try to ask Trusteer forums, but doubt that they would be able to offer something. It looks like Firefox specifically does not like something.

- Try resetting the iPod. Nothing will be lost.
- Go to settings>Safari and delete histor, cahce, cookies, data (What you find listed varies with the iOS on the iPod).

On my new web site Dashboard, when making any Chamges or Updates, I either get a AJAX Issue or FF CRASHES, is there a Fix for this?

For the first two: When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Cmd+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
Firefox menu > Preferences > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
Tools menu > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Here you can individually remove them. Then try reloading the page and logging back in. Does that help?

IPad Air crashes with low memory error in Google Translate Web Site

My new iPad Air crashes with low memory error every time I try to use my Phrasebook in Google Translate Web site. This is rather disapointing considering that my old Nexus 10, that iPad Air is supposed to replace, works flawlessly in Google Translate Web site. Perhaps this has to do with the rather limited RAM (1GB) that iPad Air is equippoed with.
