Web start terminated unexpectedly
after installation is complete , reboot the system then i insert the intel installation cd in cd-rom but when system is configure itself then it gave me that message " Web start launcher terminated unexpectedlyand press any key to rebboot ".So i can't install the software cd 1 of 2, 2 of 2 .How can i install from netscape browser.Thanks again Lee.
After you have installed the system, it should be rebooted and then you should use the cd 2 of 2 installer to select and install the software packages.

Export for web Process terminated unexpectedly (11)
I have a licensed version of QuickTime Pro. And a licenced version of FCE.
I try to export a project 2 Quick time movie files put together one with a 83,291 Bit rate and the other with a 79,409 bit rate. Both use the Apple Intermediate Codec, Integer (Big Endian).
I export them to Quicktime Movie Then try to export for web. It starts then after awhile says this:
The Application QTPlayerHelper Quit Unexpectedly.

It also says:
Failed: Export process terminated unexpectedly (11)
I have tried an uninstall of the app and the pref file. No dice.
Help pleaseSimilar issue here when exporting AVI files captured from Canon G9 to iPod.
QuickTime Pro quits with: Failed: process terminated unexpectedly (11).
Oddly, if I start from a power off and run QTime the error does not occur.
Of course powering off for every export is a real PAIN IN THE Axx but it is a work around on this end.
I have yet to try 3rd party software but this is error occurs with Quick Time Pro Ver 7.5 build 149.5.

I was working about this solution but nothing. "http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/yuval14/2012/06/08/how-to-resolve-error-message-the-active-directory-web-services-service-terminated-unexpectedly-event-id-4079-andor-7034/".
I changed the Microsoft.ActiveDirectory.WebServices.exe.config file, add two line " <add key=”DebugLevel” value=”Info” />

Unable to launch Integeration Builder - Java Web Start - Unexpected Error
Hi there,
I am not able to launch the Integeration builder. The ESR has no problem and is working fine though.
Here is the exception :- com.sap.aii.ibdir.gui.appl.ApplicationImpl
I have tried below options already :
1. Cleared the java cache under - javaws -logviewer
2. Go into administration and inside Directory --> Java Web Start Administration clicked "Restore archives and generate new sign."
Strange part is some of my colleagues here doesnt have any issue while opening the Integeration Builder. In fact I dont have any such issue in QA and PROD environment. The issue is only in DEV environment. Please advice.
AnshulHello,
Usually restoring the archives will help resolve the issue.
If the issue is occurring for just yourself maybe you could check that you are using the correct java version. e.g. for for 7. 1 java version 5
Also please refresh the Java Web Start:
If it's a Windows terminal, select Start - Run - javaws to launch Java Web Start and then clear the cache. File -> preferences ->
advanced -> clear folder button
If you have later versions of Java and doing the
Start -> Run doesn't give you anything, then select Start - Run and type Control and hit Enter. Double-click Java in the list
that displays to view the more up-to-date Java Control Panel. In the General tab, select Settings from the Temporary Internet Files section. Click Delete Files to clear the cache and then log into the Integration Builder again (download will be longer as jars will be cached locally again).
If the problem still remains I would advise to check that the latest patches have been applied for XI_TOOL, and also the other components MESSAGING SAP-XIAFC SAP_XIAF SAP_XIESR SAP_XIGUI

How can I enable java applet plug-in and Web Start applications via terminal?
Since the last Java update to Snow Leopard, I have found that the system periodically disables the Java applet plug-in after a period of disuse. I know I can go to /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences and just click to re-enable Java. But I want to write a script which will do this periodically for a couple hundred Mac users where I work.
My question is - how can I reenable the Java applet plug-in and web start applications via Terminal command? Is this possible? Is there a plist file that can be modified, etc.?
Bob ReedIt is my understanding that Apple's most recent Java update automatically disables Java after a certain period of time that it hasn't been used. We don't want users to have to keep re-enabling it. So we wanted to find a way to do this via script either run by a Casper JSS server or stored locally on each workstation. With the guidance provided by Mark Jalbert above and some text from a script written by Rich Trouton, I was able to make a script (with some minor changes) and a launch agent to re-run the script upon login. So the preference is always enabled.
For your reference, the script content is:
#!/bin/sh
# DYNAMICALLY SET THE UUID FOR THE BYHOST FILE NAMING
if [[ `ioreg -rd1 -c IOPlatformExpertDevice | grep -i "UUID" | cut -c27-50` == "00000000-0000-1000-8000-" ]]; then
MAC_UUID=`ioreg -rd1 -c IOPlatformExpertDevice | grep -i "UUID" | cut -c51-62 | awk {'print tolower()'}`
elif [[ `ioreg -rd1 -c IOPlatformExpertDevice | grep -i "UUID" | cut -c27-50` != "00000000-0000-1000-8000-" ]]; then
MAC_UUID=`ioreg -rd1 -c IOPlatformExpertDevice | grep -i "UUID" | cut -c27-62`
fi
# Set the the "Enable applet plug-in and Web Start Applications" setting in the Java Preferences for the current user.
/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Delete :GeneralByTask:Any:WebComponentsEnabled" /Users/$USER/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.java.JavaPreferences.${MAC_UU ID}.plist
/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Add :GeneralByTask:Any:WebComponentsEnabled bool true" /Users/$USER/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.java.JavaPreferences.${MAC_UU ID}.plist

The launch agent plist content is:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

</array>
<key>RunAtLoad</key>
<true/>
<key>StartOnMount</key>
<true/>
</dict>
</plist>
I hope this is helpful to anyone wishing to keep the Java web plugin enabled.

Hello experts,

The Windows Server Service Provider Registry service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this xx0 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service.
When I try to start this service I get 'error 1067 - The process terminated unexpectedly'. I have checked all dependencies of this particular service and they are all running properly. I've restarted these dependencies, disabled Kaspersky
protection, restarted the Server a few times to no avail.
Any ideas? Thank you!I had this exact same problem! Thank you so much Robert for posting a link to that script! That is truly an amazing Powershell script.
I had all the same errors that AK772 mentioned, but I chose to zoom in on a different issue that the script pointed out. When I ran the "Test CA Infrastructure" step it found several errors. When I looked at what the script was doing there it was
comparing the server certificate thumbprint in the registry (HKLM:\Software\Microsoft\Windows Server\Identity) with the personal certificates (Personal Certificates in the Certificate snap-in using MMC). When I looked through them individually, sure enough
the thumbprint in the registry didn't exist in my certificate store. I have NO idea how this could have happened!
However, from there, I changed my Google search criteria and found the following excellent article:
http://titlerequired.com/2013/04/29/windows-server-2012-essentials-an-error-prevented-the-dashboard-from-opening/
This told more about that error and showed how to regenerate the certificate identity in the registry. This totally saved me! Once I ran through the steps that he outlines, even though I got a timeout error towards the end, I could see that the certificate
thumbprint had changed in the registry and now existed in my personal certificate store.
Once I saw this, I tried going into services and manually starting the stopped "Windows Server Service Provider Registry" service. Sure enough it started right up, no error this time. Finally, I restarted the server so that all of the other dependent
services would come back up and re-ran the linked script above and everything was perfect.
Thanks so much for the breadcrumbs in this post and all of your contributions. I hope that this post will equally be able to help someone else through this very troublesome and evasive error! -
Java web start running on windows NT4 work station
I have installed java web start on a windows NT4 work station (service pack 6) with a directx v5. I successfuly launch the sun applications such as swing set 2, but I have some troubles concerning our software which used another look and feel than the default one. A system error is raised saying that the library ddraw.dll could not be loaded.
I have unistalled and re-installed directx v5 but the error is still raised.
Does any one can help me to solve this problem ?.
Thank you.Hello Sim085
thanks for your reply.
Perhaps it would be easier for us to continue the programming with any kind of VisualStudio Produkt ;-), although we dont't had to think about OOP yet!
Because of our new Network-Technology (Terminal-Server) we have to discuss serveral possibilities.
I've read about JSP and ASP.NET, and I want to know if JSP or any kind of JAVA Program will run on a Terminal-Server.
Are there any special aspects I have to know when running JSP on a terminal server from Microsoft? Is it better to program applications in JAVA or in JSP? ...
Thanks

Unable to run my application using java web start
i have created one application and use java web start to download the application. all the files are succesfully downloaded but when i try to run the application an expected error occur. this only happen in my machine but not in other machine i'm currently using
-jsdk1.4.2
-windows 2000 professional 5.00.2195 service pack 3
-pentium III 870 Mhz
-x86-based PC
-RAM 256 Mhz
Anyone knows why, plz help me with this puzzlePlease post the information from the Web Start "Exception" and "Wrapped Exception" tabs when the error occurs (I assume the error was in fact unexpected ;-)
A blind stab in the dark would be that you don't have write permission to the cache directory on the second machine. Also worth checking that the proxy settings on the second machine are the same as the first (if they are on the same network). -
Java Web Start application failing on my user account
Hi All,
I've been tearing my hair out over this for a while and haven't been able to get anywhere wiht it. I've finally cracked and decided to post a plea for help in here.
Basically, I have a web start application that will not start under my user profile but will under a new account I created. If I try and start it from the terminal with javaws I get "Bus Error" and that's all. Double clicking it gives me a crash dialoge box and the details can be seen here:
http://pastebin.com/m77b1111f
As I said before, running it in the other account works fine as does "sudo javaws /path/to/app.jnlp" but I really don't want to have to do that every single time.
I've deleted the JavaCache folder as well as any ~/Library/Preferences/java.plist all without any joy. Also, I'd like to add that there are a number of other Web Start apps that run without any problems.
Any ideas?Thing is, if there was corruption of something that was system wide, it wouldn't work under a different profile, right?
Unpredictable as to how lomg it would work on a new account.
Is this usually the case for a safe boot?
Yes, it runs fsck_hfs -fy on the whole drive, dumps several caches & so on, the next boot will also take longer than usual as it rebuilds caches & so on. -

Unfortunately weblogic does not support the latest jdk and looks like we are stuck with this problem (for now).

Any solutions for "Export process terminated unexpectedly [11]" problem?
Hey guys,
I'm trying to simply use Quicktime Pro (Version 7.6.6 Build 1632) to enable the "Fast Internet Start" feature of a 640 x 480 video H.264 video. It uses 16-bit Little Endian for audio, if that's of any help.
Anyway, like lots of other users with this same exact problem, I make the changes in the "Export" dialogue (in this case, enabling "Fast Internet Start" and lowering the audio quality a bit), and the little status indicator goes away and "Export Process Terminated Unexpectedly {11}" appears in its place. Has a definitive answer been found for this problem?Similar issue here when exporting AVI files captured from Canon G9 to iPod.

The DPMRA service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 332 time(s)."
Hi,
We’ve been having problems with our DPM backups. We’re running DPM 2012 SP1 on Server 2008 R2 SP1.
In short the backup agent seems to crash causing all jobs to error/fail.
I slightly more detailed explanation of the issue is ….
The critical alert says
“The protection agent on MYSERVERNAME was temporarily unable to respond because it was in an unexpected state. (ID 60 Details: Internal error code: 0x809909B0)”
When we look at the System log we have an event id 7034 from the Service Control Manager source with something like
“The DPMRA service terminated unexpectedly.
It has done this 332 time(s).”
In the Application log we have event id 1000 from the Application Error source

After looking in the DPMRACurr.errlog I found a “CRITICAL Raising Watson for process” but can’t track down the issue ….

Subtask failure, sending status response XML=[<?xml version="1.0"?>
We’ve since raised a ticket with Microsoft Support but I’m told the System Centre Developer support team are experiencing high call volumes so I’m hoping someone else might be able to point me in the right direction.
We do have a SCOM agent installed but have disabled it and still get the issue :o(
Any ideas of what else to look at?
Thanks,
JohnDid you ever receive an answer back on this? I have almost the exact same issue. I have DPM 2012 Sp1 Update Roll up 5 on Server 2012. Backup jobs will work on a particular server for a couple after forcing synchronization but then all jobs begin to fail.
On the DPM Server I will get: The protection agent on server.domain.local was temporarily unable to respond because it was in an unexpected state. (ID: 60) On the Protected computer in the Event Viewer system log I get: Service Control Manager Event ID: 7034
Description: The DPMRA service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 688+ time(s).
On the Protected computer under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Data Protection Manager\DPM\Temp I have quite a few error crash logs. Here are some of them.

Problem with CORBA application deployed using Java Web Start 1_6_0.
Java Web Start fans and experts:
We have been using Java Web Start to deploy the client side of a CORBA-based application since the inception of Java Web Start ... including Java Web Start 1.0 right up through the present.
With Java Web Start 1_6_0, we see evidence that Web Start is "tinkering with" the IOR that CORBA uses to communicate. In all previous versions of Java Web Start, independent of the JRE which the application uses, the stringified IOR have been the same size regardless of whether the application is deployed locally or via Java Web Start. With Java Web Start 1_6_0, the stringified IOR is much longer than the "real" IOR (again, regardless of the JRE used by the application itself). To me this smells like a bug in Java Web Start 1_6_0. Has anyone else observed this behavior?
Here are some specifics .... I've run the same client application with various JREs both with and without Java Web Start as the deployment mechanism. The application was compiled and runs against servers that are running JDK 1_5_0_09.
Here is the summary of my results from a Linux box running various JREs, various versions of Java Web Start, and also running as a non-JWS deployed application. I've listed the length of the stringified IOR in each case.
JRE 1.5.0 non-JWS client: stringified IOR length = 344
JRE 1.6.0 non-JWS client: stringified IOR length = 344 ... this, I think, excludes the JRE as the cause of these problems.
Java WS 1.5.0, JRE 1.5.0 JWS client: stringified IOR length = 344
Java WS 1.5.0, JRE 1.6.0 JWS client: stringified IOR length = 344
Java WS 1.6.0, JRE 1.6.0 JWS client: stringified IOR length = 1568
Java WS 1.6.0, JRE 1.5.0 JWS cleint: stringified IOR length = 1568
In all cases, the stringified IOR length is determined by the service receiving the message and is always running JRE 1_5_9_09 and is
always the same 344 characters in length UNLESS it was deployed
using Java Web Start 1_6_0, in which case it in nearly 5 times as big!
To me, it sure looks as if there is a problem with Java Web Start 1_6_0 to be adding so much to the stringified IOR. Note: it's hard to tell how different the underlying IOR is in the JWS 1_6_0 case because, unlike most other ORBs, the Sun ORB doesn't have a tool to extract the IOR into a human readable structure. However, I can think of no good reason why the identical application deployed using Java Web Start 1_6_0 should have a stringified IOR length that is different than that of the same application deployed in non-JWS form or should differ from the behavior seen in all previous releases of Java Web Start.
Any clues or suggestions? Has anyone else observed this behavior?
Thanks,
JohnHi.
I got a different problem. My Corba application works in JRE 1.6, but doesn't works in JRE 1.5.X. I got an unexpected error and my console shows:
