Web ui login error after business role selection

Dear All
I am keep facing the same problem while login to web ui from SAP CRM GUI thorugh transaction CRM_UI
it keep asking login after the selection of business role and then end up with the following error screen, kindly help to rectify the followimg error
Cannot display view BSPWD_BASICS/WorkAreaHostViewSet of UI Component CRM_UI_FRAME
An exception occurred during the internal HTTP communicationException Class CX_BSP_WD_HTTP_RESPONSE_ERROR

Technical names in Business Role selection screen

Hello,
When I log on to the WebUI I get the selection screen for the Business Roles (correct because I'm assigned to multiple).
But in the selection screen the Technical Names of the Business Role is hown too and I don't want to show these to the users.
So does anybody know how we can disable showing the technical names in the business role selection screen?
Can it be done in BSP crm_ui_start > Page Fragments > selectBusinessRole.htm Selection of Business Role? If so, what do i have to change?

Hi Joost,
This technical information is the tooltip that is comming from the following line.
crm_ui_start > Page Fragments > selectBusinessRole.htm
at line no 29
tooltip="<%= profile_detail %>"
If you can remove this line then technical information, that comes up when you do mouse over the role description, wouldn't come.

ICM : Unable to login into DETECTIVE Business role

Hi ,
When I try to log in into DETECTIVE role ,I got issue "Security settings are not maintained, contact your system administrator" .
I have SAP_ALL access and I copied the pfcg role which is assigned to business role and provided full authorization for all auth objects.
Can you please assist by providing the key to access detective role in web ui.

Internet Explorer Error after Business Explorer Installation

Hi guys,
I just want to know why the Internet Explorer seems to be corrupted (always blank page whichever page you will browse) after Business Explorer installation?
What will I do to avoid this problem?

I have updated the GUI for the latest patch , that is 5. and still at sometimes when using query designer "critical Error" msg used to appear.. i have checked the logs but it doesnt give out any clue why this error occurs.. if ya have any suggestion please let me inform as well..

Login Error after Upgrading from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0

Hi Experts,
We have carried out an upgrade from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0.
After Upgrade we are not able to login using SAP GUI. we are getting an error saying..
Username or Password not Valid..
During the upgrade (in Netweaver 2004s ) is there procedure necessary to be followed, which we could have missed..

Thanks a lot for your reponse.
Basically I am able to login thru sap* / ddic and can unlock the users / reset the password.
But the customer wants to know why the user is getting locked and it happened because of any procedure miss whil performing the upgrade..
if it is usual that users get locked during upgrade, any SAP Notes to refer..

Outlook Web App login errors and VZ in-Home-Agent says primary acct is invalid

Here is some problems Im having with my email
1st the good things:
I can access and have full use of my primary/sub accounts via Verizon web site and Outlook.
2nd the bad things:
Outlook Web App gives me login in errors on primary and sub accounts
VZ-In-House Agent troubleshooting reports my primary email as "invalid" and won't test, but reports my sub account is good and checks okay.
Have anyone experienced any issues like this?

Login Error after installing Lion and migrating from time machine

I cannot log into Lion under my user setting, I am getting the error: "You are unable to login to the File Vault User account {name} at this time."
Apparently I did not turn off file vault before upgrading to Lion and when I set up Lion I did not migrate from time capsule because it was not finding it even thought the firewire was plugged in so I went ahead and filled out my name and set up a password. I was in Lion and attached the external drive and finally it read it so I migrated the information. I'm not sure if I didn't check the transfer "user" box or the Lion password does not match my File Vault password but now I cannot get into Lion.
I contacted Apple Support and they told me I would not be able to access my old user info because it is locked. I tried to reinstall Lion and get back to the screen where it prompts me for a password so I could change it to my file vault password and cannot get back to that screen. I also cannot create a new user - I can only use guest.
I tried reset password from the terminal and this did not work.
Is there any way I can do a clean Lion install and try the migration again to make sure the passwords and user box is checked?
Please help... I'm desperate!

You say Downloads folder has never been excluded and you can't find the Downloads Folder. Do this... OpenFinder then in Finder select your Downloads Folder, open Time Machine if your Downloads Folder has been backed up, Time Machine will take you directly to your Downloads Folder backups.

WEB and WIKI Error after Feb2012 server update

Anyone else having server WEB, Wiki and certificate problems after the last update?

Login error after migration from Snow Leopard to Lion

I went through the migration process to get all settings and data over from my MacBook (10.6.8) to my new Mac Pro (10.7.3). During the migration, I was logged into the old MacBook with my FileVault-enabled account. Migration completed successfully, but when I tried to log into the new Mac Pro, I got this error:
"You are unable to log in to the FileVault user account "user1" at this time. Log in to the account failed because an error occurred." [OK]
When I typed a password I knew was incorrect, the login box would do the familiar shaking. When I typed the correct password, I got the behavior above.
I was able to log in to the new Mac Pro as a different user (user2), even though user2 also had FileVault enabled on the old system.
When logged in as user2 on the new system, I was able to escalate privileges by authenticating as user1, so I knew the password for user1 was working. I gave user2 admin privileges and saw that user1's data had been copied over, but not as a sparsebundle - presumably because user1 was logged in at the time of migration.
To fix the login problem, I did the following:
1) Logged in as user2 on both source and target system, then escalated privs to give user2 admin rights.
2) Copied /Users/user1/user1.sparsebundle from source to target system:
     - On target system, in System Preferences -> Sharing, enabled Remote Login for user2
     - On source system, opened Terminal window and typed:
     $ sudo -s
     > [password for user2]
     # cd /Users/user1
     # scp -rp user1.sparsebundle user2@IP_address:
    (where IP address is the actual IP address of the target system)
     > [password for user2]
3) Moved aside the unencrypted files in user2's home directory:
     - On target system, logged in as user2, in Terminal:
     $ sudo -s
     > [password for user2]
     # chown -R user1 ~/user1.sparsebundle
     # mkdir /tmp/user1
     # chown user1 /tmp/user1
     # cd /Users/user1
     # mv * /tmp/user1
     # mv .[a-zA-Z]* /tmp/user1
4) Moved the user1.sparsebundle into place (in same Terminal window on target system):
     # chown -R user1 ~/user1.sparsebundle
     # mv ~/user1.sparsebundle /Users/user1
5) Logged out of user2 account and logged back in as user1
6) Securely deleted the unencrypted files for user1 (in Terminal window as user1):
     $ srm -rf /tmp/user1

Go get a powered USB hub and try that. Lion may have issued a fix for devices drawing too much power, by cutting them off.

In UI after selecting one of business roles like IC_AGENT, then its again

have u ever faced issue that after login to UI then after selecting one of business roles like IC_AGENT, then its again coming back to same page,
i.e. ....instead going to Workcenter page of IC_AGENT its in Business role selection page itself, any Idea?
recently in production they increased Application servers, so when it get dispatched from Dispatcher to one of server,
at Application server level its may get redirected to same page instead go ahead?

This could be a case of multiple logon condition. Please check whether the following are satisfied (taken from one of the pages in SCN, lost the link):
1. login/accept_sso2_ticket must be set to 1 for Dflt/Profile/Current
2. login/create_sso2_ticket must be set to 2 for Dflt/Profile/Current
3. Check user type in transaction SU01 -> Logon data tab, check User Type. Usually, it should be "DIALOG". If it is other types, like "SERVICE", it also will cause multiple logon requirement.
4. For warnings during login, check service crm_ui_start for CRM 7.0 and crm_ui_frame for CRM 6.0 (SICF). Open this node and click on tab Error Pages -> scroll down and click on the 'Configuration' button -> under Actions During Logon section, check Do Not Display Warnings.

Calling one business role from another business role on CRM web client

Hi,
I have a requirement where, one business role can be launched just by click a navigation link on another.,
For eg. in a UTIL_IC role frame work , I add a link by clicking on it, I go to UITIL_SALES role.
This is required so that person need to launch crm_ui_frame again if he wants to login for another business role assigned to him..
Please suggest the solution if possible for this one.

Interactive reports do not execute with Z business role

Hi all,
We have created interactive reports which are working fine and displaying results with a standard business role. However, the report does not even execute when we use a custom business role - no blank screen no error, but the report does not execute at all.
What could be missing ? Need your inputs please.

Compare the profile value for the function profile id REPORTING_PROF in Z business role with your std business role. To check this go to define business roles> select your ZBusiness role>double click on Assign function profiles.
