hello, can someone help me find a way to delete a shortcut icon on the web2go home page? I have a duplicate and want to delete one but can't find a way.....there is no customize tab on the bottom of the page!!

The web object manger manipulates a file called wtgapp.xml. Webtogo looks for it jdev's lib directory (ie C:\jdev\lib). Unfortunately in jdev 3.1, the web object manager looks for it in the directory above (ie c:\jdev). You can get around the problem by copying it into the lib directory after you finish registration in the web object manager

Testing servlet using Web2Go

I am trying to test several servlets by registering the servelts to the Web Object Managers. After registering the servlets, I still cannot run the servlets. I can only run one at a time using "http://localhost:7070/servlets/servlet".
Likewise, I named my servlets differently, eg. test01, test02, test03, etc. However, I cannot called it usnig the "http://localhost:7070/servlets/test01" as I thought it should after I register the servlets to the Web Object Manager.
Is there anyway to look at the mapping of the Web2Go properties file? Where is it located? Is there a special setup to make the Web Object Manager to work properly?
Any help will be greatful.

IPhone 6: Data not working on T-Mobile?

I recently switched from Verizon to T-Mobile's Simple Choice family plan with unlimited talk, text, and unlimited 2G data (with an additional 2.5G 4G data/month until 2016, it will drop to 1G 4G/month).
I have full text and call functionality (sending and receiving), but my Data simply does NOT work. It always shows that it is connected to the network (4G, LTE) with 4-5 bars, but it has not once worked since I've had the phone. I can use Wifi just fine.
On the My T-Mobile account app, I go to Device Support > Technical Support > Data Plan Check and it shows this message:
"Your current data service is not compatible with your device...."
Using Safari will pull up the u.web2go.com page that states this:
"Your data plan does not work on this device...."
I called the stand-alone T-Mobile store I activated the phone from and they said my account information is correct and the data plan is up and going so there should be no issues. (Other family members on my SAME PLAN also received the iPhone 6 and have NOT had any issues with data.) The T-Mobile representative told me to try the same stuff I had been trying, such as turning off my phone, resetting my phone, etc and none of that worked.
When it was finally 24 hours from activation I called customer care. For some reason calling before 24 hours has passed will only get you thrown into the "it hasn't finished syncing and we can't help you" category. He checked the network in my area and nothing was down. We tried the same things the local T-Mobile store recommended and he even checked I was up to date with iOS (8.0.2) and the Network I was trying to connect to was correct. He submitted a ticket to the advanced team to fix how my phone is receiving the network signal. He told me to turn off my phone every 2 hours and it should start working within the next 3 days. Bummer, because I am PAYING FOR MY PHONE RIGHT NOW. Simply unacceptable that this is happening and I really, REALLY hope this works.
Has this happened to anyone else?

ANSWER:
Apparently my phone was set up to receive Blackberry Data instead of iPhone Data for my data plan.Doesn't make sense to me, but it's true. All they had to do was put my phone "back" on iPhone data in their system and I was good to go in 2 hours! My data works!
If you have this problem just have T-Mobile verify the data plan you have and (the "phone type") because the T-Mobile rep said mine was incorrectly getting Blackberry data.

FB, Opera all work but will NOT d/l - NO DATA PLAN

I got this phone second hand and so far Facebook, Viigo and Opera Mini all connect to the internet - and I don't have a data plan. The prob is that as soon as I try to download something through Opera (such as Google apps), it reverts back to the BB browser and gives this error msg:
"Exceeded maximum redirect attempts to server: http//m.web2go.com/upsell/?msisdn=17132053775&cp=200"
I had to download Opera to the PC first, but many apps don't have that option. Obviously something was done before I got the phone, but since I have some internet access, I'm reluctant to try anything unknowingly.
PLEASE let me know if theres is any other information I can provide that can be helpful, I'm just listing a few things here at random that I assume would be of use.
--> When I go into my BB browser, a page comes up saying that I do not have web2go plan. The odd thing is that its lists several sites like Facebook ESPN and CNN to try to sell me a plan, but like I stated above, my FB app already works.

How to connect N810 with LG KG800

Hi,
I'm trying to access internet through my LG KG800 (Chocolate)and N810 (internet tablet) it keeps restarting (mobile) again and agian. I am with orange and get internet on phone. I use to use internet on my N95 but I dont have n95 anymore so bought this N810 yesterday and now I cant access internet!!!!! can anyone help please????? any suggestions, recommendations are warmally welcomed.

If you are in the US I had a similar problem, all the US phones connect to 3G by default no configuration needed, but N9 was a bit different. I ma on T-Mobile US, got my N9 went to store, acquired a new Micro SIM, popped into my N9, couple of seconds later, it says T-mobile, can make calls, but wait what no 3G??
So heres what I did,
Go to Settings-->Internet Connection
Swipe on Internet Connection
Touch Connect to internet, click on T-Mobile web2go (maybe something else in your case), viola you have 3G now (mine says 3.5 not sure why)
Then touch/click Edit networks and make sure you mark your 3G internet connection as 'Automatic'

Want to delete one email account from curve 8520

hi all and thanks for reading this.
i recently added 2 email accounts to my blkberry curve 8520 version 4
but then i realized what a nightmare it was to have too many emails coming in at same time. Long story short, i went back to how i first set up both emails in the first place by going to setup wizard, email setup, "i want to create or add an email address." , next, next, logging on to web2go, then finally the stupid messege shows up ERROR- " this site cannot be accessed in this manner. Please use the url or link provided by your service provider.
help!!! i need to delete some email accounts! btw i use t-mobile prepaid plan.

From your description, perhaps TMO has changed the method you need to do this? Have you contacted them, as per the information provided to you? After all, it's a TMO system you are attempting to interact with, is it not?

Registering servlets with JDeveloper

Hi! I'm new at using JDeveloper (3.2.2). I'm having some
problems on registering servlets using the Web Object Manager. I
tried following the instructions given on the JDeveloper help. I
was able to register 4 servlets but only one can be accessed.
The other servlets post a Web2Go 'unable to find url' error of
some sort. Could somebody help me?

You should switch to using Jdeveloper 9i RC and register your servlets using the web.xml file that is created for your project.

Blackberry curve 8520 wifi problem

Hi, I just got a Blackberry curve 8520 with T-mobile. I dont have the data plan iI think, since I thought I have wifi at home.
I connected the wifi but just the phone cant get access to internet, my computer can, also my other phone. So I went to the Options, Browsers, to change the setting, yet it only has 2 options: web2go (which cost money), and hotspot browswer (Which i don't think I have in my area). Helps, please.
Do I have to pay to have web access? Even if I have wifi at home?

Yes the 8520 is WiFi capable with UMA. Without a data plan you will need to set the browse up for Hotspots.
