Webcam NX Ultra - Hardware Cant Start Code 10

I have the Webcam NX Ultra - after making several attempts to install i continue to get the error message Hardware Cant Start Code 10.
Does this mean my webcam is defective or is that a software problem?
I am runing Win XP

i have already done that, but the generated script would not work
anyways, there is an update now, i have edited xorg.conf and set the driver for my nvidia card to be "vesa".
ofcourse the graphics card does not work properly (nvidia-settings cant do anything here unless i am running xorg via the nvidia driver).
now here is the part that is driving me crazy: i am running xorg perfectly (with KDE or GNOME) when i am root. but i cannot do it when i am in my own user although i have added my user to the video group :S
i would like a way to run my graphics card perfectly and in my user not as root

Apple provides the BootCamp Driver on the Mac OSX install DVD that came with your Mac.
After the installation of Windows insert that DVD while in WIndows and the Driver Setup should start automatically.
If you don't have the OSX DVD anymore you can call Apple and ask for a replacement.
Or you can go into the nearest store and buy a Mac OSX Snow Leopard install DVD for about 30 USD.
XP is supported with BootCamp as long as it a XP SP2 or SP3 32-bit retail or SystemBuilder version and not manufacturer-branded.

Surely even if you live in a country area you should still have a post code - contact the postal services where you live and ask them if they can provide you with one. Even if you are in the back of beyond, everyone still has post code.

"Device Cannot Start - Code 10" - Windows Vista Error, w/ 2nd Gen. Nano

I'm having trouble with my Nano and Windows Vista. The computer is recognizing the iPod just fine and seeing all of my songs, but nothing will play and the diamond bar does not move. I can't hear previews online either.
Under device manager, a yellow "!" shows up for the iPod, and it says "Device Cannot Start - Code 10" when I check. All of my drivers and updates are current as of today. So is iTunes. Any thoughts?

This is a reasonably common error on a PC when there is a problem with either a USB device, your USB cables or hardware, or the system drivers.
In a case where, as you say, the device works properly with other computers, the problem is more likely to be with the hardware or drivers on the computer you're trying to connect to.

This is an error reported by the optical drive's firmware. The tracking servo is the servomechanism which guides the laser pickup along the track on the optical disc. The error means that the servo couldn't do its job within the programmed parameters. What it doesn't say is why.
You have to be very precise as to when this error occurs. If it occurs as you wrote, while it "starts preparing to write the disc", and not when it has actually began to burn, then it's likely that the drive has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
There are other possibilities, so you should check them, but they would be more likely if the error occurred after the drive began to write. OrangeMarlin has suggested two options -- try a different brand of CD or DVD, and try cleaning the lens.

Device failed to start - Code 10 - Intel Wireless Card on NB550D

Hi everyone,
It's just a normal Toshiba NB550D netbook
The only thing that I change is the Wireless Card inside it: the original is a common Atheros half mini card. Recently I have the urge to use internet in 5 ghz (frequency).
Thus, I decide to replace the old one with the *half mini card Intel Wifi Link 5100 AGN*
It doesn't turn out so well. The driver is not recognised or more precisely the windows tries to install the driver but FAIL is reported. Device manager tool shows an "!" next to the network card and when I go the its properties at general tab: "*The device failed to start - Code 10*"
I tried many ways to uninstall the driver and reinstall again ; also tried to download drivers from toshiba website for intel network card.
Nothing works so far and yeah I just don't know what to do now.
The possibility that the intel card is broken or malfunctioned is eliminated because I checked that with another laptop already and it just worked like a charm.
Please help me solve this problem. I really need to use dual band (2.4 and 5 ghz) internet.

I dont think its Wlan card issue it could be a compatibility problem between the BIOS and the WLan card.
Not all devices are supported by BIOS.
But at the other hand the WLan card appears already in device manager and therefore I think there should not be a BIOS compatibility issue.
Did you check if chipset would handle the Wlan card properly?

I have found the correct error definition in english.

I have updated my bios to the latest version.
I have just tried to uninstall all USB-drivers, and reinstall them.. Still no luck

after installing this card I get a "This device cannot start (Code 0)" message in device manager. I disabled the onboard sound in the bios, installed using the CD and rebooted the computer. But still no sound. When using this method on another computer the installation went smoothly. Since it was still not installing on this computer I tried different PCI slots (keeping in mind that it is not suppose to be installed in the PCI slot adjacent to the AGP slot). I did manage to get mine working finally, it was pretty stupid of me....
Anyway I made sure the creative disk was in the dri've and then when my comptuer said "found new hardware" i pointed to the dri've and made it install the driver. Well that did work and it did say it installed the hardware, but it still didnt work. I then took it into my brother computer did it the exact same way and it worked fine. I finnaly brought it back to my PC and installed it one more time. it did the same exact thing. But this time i opened up the disk and installed the driver direct from the disk menu, after reboot it worked like a charm. Thought that was a tad strange, but it worked, maybe if someone makes the same mistake as me this will help.
Card is good, not much of a step up from my li've 5., but that card is going in a friends PC so its no biggie.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having so many issues with getting your Expresscard 8360 working on your Lenovo. I recommend that we first look into Device Manager in more details. You mentioned that there were question marks (?) on certain devices. This usually means that there are devices on your PC that do not have any associated hardware drivers. For the Expresscard 8360, the drivers should be native to the Windows system, so I am unsure if those "?" do belong to this portion of the system. We can test this out by removing the expresscard 8360 and see if the "?" are still present. These "?" can be from the internals of the PC or modules that you've attached. If you've restored your operating system recently, it could be from the peripherals of your computer in which case you will need to find and install the chipset drivers. This can also be from the modules that you in your chassis, assuming that you haven't installed the necessary drivers for them, in which case you can find them on the Driver CD you have.
The exclamation mark (!) in Device Manager usually signifies a problem with getting the hardware started/operational. From your earlier posts I believe that the "!" is related to the Error Code 10 that you are receiving. Assuming that the correct power sequence was performed, chassis then PC, this is representative of a BIOS compatibility issue. Essentially this is occuring because the BIOS of the motherboard is not correctly allocating the necessary resources to all the devices as it is supposed to. Since you already have the latest BIOS, I would recommend that you try using the MXI Express Compatibility Software, here ni.com/beta. This is something that National Instruments created in order to correct for the incorrect resource allocation of the PC. It is not a beta program, it is only on the site so that we can manage it more easily. I have seen Lenovo T60 laptops work with this software installed.

Here's a mind bender for you.
Hope the collective consciousness can provide some insight.
The configuration:
TBird 1333
Epox 8k5a2+ (KT333)
512MB DDR
2x 40GB Maxtor HDD
several GF4 4200's
SB Live Player
DLink DFE 530-TX
400W power suppply
Windows XP Pro
The problem:
A seemingly random time after a clean Win-install, the Geforce4 driver will fail to start upon boot. Desktop will appear in 640x480 resolution 4 bit color, or, very rarely if I'm lucky, in 800x600x256.
In Device Manager the following error is displayed for the display adapter: "The device failed to start (code 10)". Translated, that means the driver could not start due to the hardware being absent.
Before this failure everything would work just fine, system is 100% stable. There is no traceable event that seems to trigger this problem.
After this failure there is no way to fix the system except to format and re-install or restore from a Ghost image taken before the trouble started. Well, there was one occasion where I was fed up with it one day, turned it off and when I powered up the next day it was working again (yes, I have a witness). Windows System Restore occasionally works too, mostly does not.
Things I have tried:
Two different motherboards, one KT333, one KT133A, same problem.
All versions of BIOS of both boards (even modified ones)
APIC and PIC IRQ modes.
All unneeded devices (serial ports etc.) disabled
Vga card has it's own IRQ, not shared
Different versions of Detonator drivers
Different VIA 4 in 1 drivers
With and without XP SP1
This happened with 3 different 4200's now, VisionTek, Leadtek, and now MSI. Other (older) VGA card in same system, no problem.
Some other thoughts:
The fact that a restore from backup CD fixes the problem is a good indication that this is a software malfunction.
Does anybody have any idea what could possibly be causing this?
This has been going on for over a month now and I'm fed up. If I can't resolve this soon I will have to switch over to the Dark Side, as much as I would hate to.

try uninstalling all drivers under device manager even the hidden ones, and make sure its uninstalled in add/remove programs
then restart
let windows find the card, restart
then install ur Det drivers
rushing the computer on this one causes all sorts of problems, i did the same thing

- Try on another computer

Plug it in to power. If it doesn't automatically come on within 15 minutes, try a Reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If this doesn't work, you likely have a hardware issue.

I am having a problem isolating an indication in the Device Manager with the High Definition Audio Device. I have Intel Graphics with this machine. The OS is W10 Pro. I loaded the audio driver for Windows 7 64 bit, but that did not make any difference. Hi The problem HD audio device you are seeing is the Intel HDMI audio device that needs a driver. I looked around for a W10 driver for the hardware ID you posted, and can't find one. You don't need that device unless you want/need audio through the display port. The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W7 Intel graphics driver from your notebook's support and driver page, but install it this way...so that you just target the problem audio device... Download, but don't run this graphics driver... http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=4095873&swItemId=ob_127914_1&swEnvOid=4059 Download and install this free file utility. 64 bit is the second file listed. http://www.7-zip.org/ After you install 7-zip, right click on the graphics driver file you downloaded, and select 7-zip from the list of items. Have 7-Zip Extract to: and let it extract the driver to the folder name (sp64360). Go to the device manager and click on the problem Intel HD audio device needing the driver. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver. Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder 7-Zip created. Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and see if the driver installs that way. Then reboot. If you explore the driver folder 7-zip created, and open the DisplayAudio folder, you will find the setup information file that has the hardware ID you posted as supported by the driver. Whether or not this audio driver will work on W10, that I do not know. But if you want to give that a try, that would be a way to do it without messing with the actual graphics driver.

I recently got my new system but there are happening some strange things. The computer froze 5 times this week, and I have no clue what the problem is. So after asking some advice on forums I'm now testing my parts for faults...
True Afterburn, i press the K button and a furry animation appears. It says MSI kombustor - Direct3D 9.... So that works.. 10 min. already.. How long should I let this run?
Now if I run Kombustor and want to start "Run stress test" or "Run Preset:1080" I get the message, "initializing kMark", and it just keeps on loading on that message. I've waited half hour but still nothing.. I can't find anything about the kmark benchmarking not launching.. Anyone any advice please??
EDIT: It's just the Kmark tab where I cant start anything. The other things run.

Motherboard - MSI x79 GD65 8D - MS7760 (bios version V1.0/20111014, the Live update tool says there is a newer version but I just cant upgrade!!! I can't understand the explanation that comes with the biosfile download... its all about Windows2000 and other old windows!)

Edit: I forgot to mention. During the first update-installations of Windows 7 I got this massive "broken screen", all blocky purple green.. but I saw true the blocks the text of the updates (updating please wait 1/3...) So I just waited, after an auto restart it all went back to normal..
