Webcam the only thing that shows up in the device selection
I am trying to use Adobe flash media encoder 3.2 it only shows my webcam under devices that I can select (with two different names). I can't get it to show my computer screen. If someone could give me step by step instructions on how to get my computer screen to show up that would be great.

Please could you let us know which version of Photoshop you are using and whether the extensions menu is now greyed out? If you used Adobe add-ons to download your products, it will be easy to reinstall them directly from the 'My Add-ons' link on the left-hand side of the add-ons website: creative.adobe.com/addons.
If, however, you are a CS6 user and use Adobe Exchange to obtain products for Photoshop, the 'My Stuff' section of the panel, as well as Extension Manager, will give you an indication of what should and shouldn't be currently installed in your copy of Photoshop.

Hello. I'm having a problem signing onto my iPad mini. When I went to sign on yesterday the number pad to sign on moved upward and now it is out of site. Now I can't sign on the only thing that shows is the Apple logo.
Have you tried to give your iPad a reset? Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if it helps.

When I mirror my macbook pro to my apple tv the only thing that shows up is one video that's on my desktop. How can I watch something that's online on my laptop, on my apple tv?
Are you using mirroring or using airplay within iTunes? If you are truly mirroring then you can view anything that is displayed on your computer through Apple Tv

When I'm presenting using an external projector, the only thing that shows up on the view screen is my desktop screen. It will also display a powerpoint file, but only in slide show mode. No other files (word, excel, etc) or safari will display. How can I get what I see on my computer screen to show up on the external screen?

You can either set it to "mirror" or arrange the monitors side by side. Then when you want to show the working window on your projector slide it in the direction you set as the second monitor. Many teachers will do this to show a video or powerpoint to their class while working on another document or answering emails. -
Recently updated the the apple tv remote app for my iPhone4. Now can no longer turn on the apple tv "box" on/off using iPhone app as I used to do before the update. Only thing that shows on iPhone screen is music library. Home Sharing is on. Any help appreciated. Sorry if this is not exactly the right place to post this!
One clue: I have found a reliable way to solve the problem when it happens.
In my network, I have the main Airport Extreme (Gen 1) which is connected to my router, which distributes IP addresses to my internal subnet. The other two AEs (one Gen 4, one Gen 5) are set to extend the network.
When I get this problem with an AppleTV 2 that can "see" my library, but when I try to open it, it says it couldn't find the library, it seems to have to do with a change in which Airport Extreme it's talking to.
If I restart the main Airport Extreme from the Airport Utility, effectively restarting the entire wireless network, then when the network resumes, every AppleTV 2 is happy again.
Unfortuntely, the problem does seem to recur - but I'm wondering if it's because temporary interference leads an AppleTV 2 to try to connect to a different AE, and somehow that's mucking with the Home Sharing. Remember, internet access (Trailers, Store, Netflix) have no issues. Purely Home Sharing.

At the present time, the only way to keep photos in iCloud indefinitely is to add them to a shared stream, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99. However, photos added to a shared stream will be a lower resolution than the original photos. These shared streams can be shared with your friends.
If you add the photos to your normal photo stream, they will be deleted from iCloud (and all other devices/computers) when you delete them from your phone. And although your backup includes camera roll photos, if you delete them from your phone and continue backing it up, the backup containing the deleted photos will be overwritten by one that doesn't and they will be lost.
This is likely to change in the fall with iOS 8 and its iCloud Photo Library feature (see http://www.apple.com/ios/ios8/photos/). -
How in the world do i get my lost Album back?
I purchased a Album from Itunes on my iphone, Played it for several days. Then when I synced my phone to my laptop, the album is no longer there. It shows up in the Itunes on my computer but only as the digital booklet, which you are supposed to get after a purchase.
I tried downloading all songs into itunes, that didnt work. I tried logging out of my account with no avail. I tried seeing if i could go into iTunes again and buy redownload it. But it showes that I have to purchase it again...
Any help would be appreciated.

I can access all my folders in hotmail when I log on from google but they don't show up and just the general mailbox. I don't want to have to logon to Google every time I want to check my Hotmail but I also need to be able to see all my subfolders that I created under the inbox. There are many time to do not wish to delete the message but at the same time I don't want to leave them in the inbox forever. I tried restarting my iPhone 4s which has the update seven-point whatever it is now and also went and try to create an exchange account where it did not let me do it. Try deleting your hotmail account and then adding it back as an Outlook account instead of "other". It worked for me.

My ipod will not come on the only thing that shows on the screen is to plug in to itunes
my ipod had a low battery so i plugged it in and then downloaded a game. now all that comes on the screen is "plug in to itunes" .when it is unplugged it says the same thing.

Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. I don't know what the problem is. I installed the new update plug-in for Flash and it's still not working. I don't know what do do next.
No, that's not it. I tried both ways: 64-bit flash plugin, with Firefox in 64-bit mode. Latest 32-bit flash plugin with flash in 32-bit mode. No go.
I see the first frame of the video. Video does not update except in chunks, portions of the screen, every few seconds. Sometimes there is no audio.
Curiously, other video sites, such as vimeo, are fine. Also, some embedded youtube videos on other sites are also fine. But the problem is consistently there on youtube.com. -
HiI need help connecting the MacBook pro to the HDTV. I have the attachment and have it connected but I want to play videos or video from the Internet and all I can see is the background screen of the Mac. Hope the solution is simple :)

You have created an Extended Desktop. The up-down-left-right arrangement is done in the Arrange pane in
System Preferences > Displays > Arrange
The second screen is added to one edge of the first screen. The mouse moves freely off the edge of one screen and onto the other screen. You can drag and drop files or windows from one screen to the other. -
