Webcan turns off and on during Skype video call

Hello everyone,
I have noticed and issue with my new MAcbook pro.
My webcam was turning off and on several times during a 15 video call.
It was not really disturbing from the viewer side, but I saw that the green light of my webcam was turning off and off spontaneously.
please note: I use the latest Skype and its a new computer.
Any idea what could be the reason?

Well mine does exactly the same thing when I'm talking with one person so hardly a bandwidth problem - never happened before. Running Windows 7 and Skype 7.
However, the light on the webcam stays on - it's just not being picked up by Skype.

New iPad 4G internet access lost during Skype video calls, also to all apps...

i have the New (3rd generation) iPad 4G 32 Gb and i noticed that i totally lost internet connection during Skype video calls. The wifi signal is full but loosing the internet connection. Trying other apps like safari after the failure i don't have also internet access. After turninmg off & on afain wifi from iPad's settings everything returns to normal state.
No other wifi problems when not using Skype for iPad, no problems with Facetime or any other application, no problem with any other device, i also have an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 3GS without any connection or internet problems.
Any idea? Is it a Skype problem, or iPad's know wifi problem?

I also noticed the same problem not only using Skype, but with other application also.
Wifi signal is full, but loosing internet connection.
Any idea please ? Have to return it back for repair ? It's only 2 weeks old....

Windows 7 Crashes during Skype video call.

Hello, my Late 2008 Macbook pro running Windows 7 Bootcamp freezes during a video call with Skype. (Version 7.5)
It's a Intel Dou Core that runs at 2.40GHz.
The graphic card is a Nvidia GeForce with (And I know pathetic) only 256mb Video ram.
So pretty much what I think is the problem is that when not doing a video call, the CPU sits at 10% or lower. But whenever me or someone turns on the webcam the CPU sky rockets straight to 100% and within 10 to 15 minutes my computer will crash entirely no blue screen nothing. Just freezes and gives me a loud buzz noise. My only option is to turn off the Macbook pro and restart it.
I been experience this ever since I got this Late 2008 Macbook pro, everything is updated. Including driver updates. All Windows updates are downloaded (Even the optional ones) I even reinstalled Windows 7 to see if a fresh install would fix the problem. I tried downgrading as well. But no matter what I do the computer instantly hits 100% CPU and crashes very soon after. I've ran as administrator and still the same problem. I even took it a step further lowering all graphics, switch to classic windows mode. And made sure to turn off everything running that is useless in the background. Including programs to the point that Skype is the only thing running. and it still crashes as soon as it hits 100% CPU. and stays that way for 10 to 15 minutes while in a video call.
After many tries to trying to diagnose this problem. I've decided to ask here on how to repair this issue. This macbook pro runs fantastic and there is nothing wrong with it. the Webcam is also fine.
Hope someone here has an answer for me as soon as possible.

Anyone you make a video call with can see your IP address. However, this doesn't necessary mean that this person can break into your computer.

In updating my iPod to 6.1.2, I received an error during the update. Now, ipod is not rebooting. Has screen showing usb to Itunes picture.   Turning off and back on it goes back to this picture. I don't know how to reset so that I can restore my backup

A similar thing happened when I updated the ios on my ipad. But, I was able to reboot, and then restore from backup.   How can I get my ipod to reboot and allow restore when it is not even recognized as I reconnect to my computer?

Skype 7.5 turning off and on one speaker

i use a asus g750jz raptor with windows 8.1 i have been using older versions of skype because everytime i update it messes up with my speakers and i can`t find and older version now.
the issue is that if skype is open (on a call or just the software open) it turns off and on one of my speakers, if im playing a game, hearing music, youtube or skype call it keeps turning one of my speakers off and on.
i know is a skype problem because it stops if i uninstall it and a few months ago i found an older version (i don`t remember which) but today i forgot about the issue and update skype to 7.5 and got that problem again.

From what I can find, WOL is not supported by VirtualBox.
If you'd like to remotely restart or shut down the computer, you can use the
Shutdown command from command prompt, or if you run
Shutdown -i, you will be given a GUI for the shutdown application.

The data volume that one user is sending is obviously also applying as data volume for the receiving user. If you want to be really exact you should check if you volume rate only includes downstream or also upstream volume.

Hi and welcome to the Skype Community,
On Skype for desktop (Windows, Mac) just use "Sign out" from the "Skype" menu once. This will take you back to the Skype sign in screen. Next time you sign in from there just make sure you have the "Sign me in when Skype starts" checkbox not checked.
On Skype for iPad:
Open the Skype app settings from the iOS settings menu. I think there should be an option to disable automatic sign in.

IPod Touch 2nd Gen (8gb) Loads to Apple symbol, then turns off, and repeats.

Okay so I went into my settings to do a reset on the iPod Touch. I did the reset and now all the iPod does is load the the black screen with the Apple symbol, stay on for a few minutes, turn off, and repeat.
When I connect the iPod to ANY computer with iTunes, it doesn't even show the iPod as connected. I honestly do not know what to do.
Does anyone have a solution on how to fix this?

Did you by chance not have the iPod connected to a charging source during the erase? It can take hours ao a 1G and 2G iPod and fully drain the battery before it is complete.

I don't want to see which keys I am entering as this can put my phone on risk as anyone close to me can see what keys I had pressed to unlock the phone.

This cannot be done. You should simply hide the display from others' view.
iPhone 5S allows you to use your fingerprint instead of the passcode.
