Webcasts RSS - where is it?

Sorry, I can't find a forum that would fit this topic more...
What happened to the RSS feed with the webcasts? Only now I discovered that I'm not getting any updates, and going to the webcasts site I can't find any link to RSS subscription.
Br, Mike

Hi Miha,
I presume if you click "Receive E-mail Notifications" in the Action part of this site: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-8462, you would get e-mails.
For the feeds I found this page: https://decibel.ni.com/content/groups/labview-user-group-leaders/blog/2011/04/05/virtual-user-group-...
I hope it will help you.

  • Tomcat How Enable .XML like .HTM for dynamic RSS app: processing?

I am using jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28 with MySQL and
have created dynamic (Gets data from MySQL)
RSS feeds for our Blog users.
This works fine if I give the file the .htm ending
but NOT with .xml or .rss
** Where do I change the configuration to have tomcat look
in .xml files and actually run (rather then display) a line
    like this:
    <app:blogfeed/ >
    THANKS
    -Bob OConnor

My understanding from http://wiki.eclipse.org/EclipseLink/Examples/JPA/Tomcat_Web_Tutorial was that Tomcat was not a Java EE 5 compatible server. This means that Tomcat isn't creating the EMF for the application, and so there is no way for the provider to register the ClassTransformer used for weaving with the application classloader before it has loaded the application entity classes. Placing the agent and persistence unit on the classpath of the server only registers the transformer with the server classloader, not the classloader that gets used to load the application.
I don't know anyone to look to far into it or how far they got before deciding just to use static weaving. You might also be able to use Spring with in Tomcat as the JPA container and configure Tomcat to use its custom application classloader - which it can then be instrumented with a transformer for weaving as described here:
    http://static.springsource.org/spring/docs/3.0.0.M3/reference/html/ch14s06.html
If you are interested, if it works with Spring using a custom classloader it should be possible, but I don't know Tomcat or Spring internals to be of much assistance. If you decide to look into it, see the EclipseLink PersistenceProvider class createContainerEntityManagerFactory method for what containers call to get the transformer to register with the classloader.

  • RSS in place of ever-changing address books?

I have a situation where some GW users are migrating to Outlook. This is playing havoc with my established email address groups (some well over 250 users deep). I was thinking about creating an RSS where I could publish information that is routinely emailed to these folks. It's related to a specific website so could put the RSS subscribe button there, but would also like to do it in an email advisory. Then run separate RSS feeds for specific groups.
Has anyone had any experience in doing something of this nature?

  • Where to watch today's event?

    Is it being webcast? Where?

Yes, but to be honest, Apple's relationship with the music industry is a lot more involved than Nokia's, LG's, etc. They created iTunes. They created the iPhone. They're all intermixed and if they're going to make ringtones, etc. a feature, then it has to be done legally to avoid lawsuits. The reason you can put mp3s on LGs and Nokias is (I'm guessing) because you can legally make your own MP3s and put them there without doing any kind of piracy (I'm talking GarageBand, etc.). They probably operate under that assumption.
My family is in the music industry and we receive financial statements periodically from ASCAP, BMI, etc. There are completely separate sections for ringtones, which show how much was made, what country the ringtone was bought in, etc. so ringtones ARE a product that publishing companies REQUIRE be licensed if they are to be done legally.

  • What settings will give higher quality / clarity in a video stream?

Hey all.. I run FME 3.2 on a windows 7 box (quad core, 8G RAM) taking composite video from another source typically, and I can send a decent quality stream most times. I've seen other webcasts though where the quality of their video is almost perfect.. total clarity and that's even on a wifi connection. I typically stream VP6 with default settings sending total audio&video around 700k up to my CDN...  Any advice on what I might be able to tweak and get better clarity without boosting bitsream out of reason would be appreciated!

  • How to retrieve REST feed using XI

    Hi,
We have a partner that setup a REST (Representational state transfer) feed and we need to retrieve data from that feed using XI and push the data to R/3. The data is presented in plain HTTP with no SOAP wrapper and we access the queue using a username and password. I can't find an adapter that will do the job, am I missing something or does anyone have a work-around?
    Johan

    Hi Prateek,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think it will work. The HTTP adapter cannot "poll" for new data as a file adapter can. REST is in a way similar to RSS where you have to pull down data from a website and the website does not send the data to you.

    Johan

  • Safari 5.1.2: Where is the built-in RSS Reader theme stored?

    Hi all,
Safari's built-in RSS reader menus are displayed in wrong language on my system - does anybody know in which library Apple's blue RSS reader theme and/or it's ressources are stored, so I could check for missing language files? All hints I could find on the web are describing pre-5.1 versions of Safari, and after investigating my current libraries I'm sure the ressources changed, e.g. the SyndicationUI.framework under /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks.
Does anybody have any hints for me?

OK, here's what I'm talking about. This is a screen capture of a tab from the Macintosh version of Safari:
Notice how the "X" to close the tab is on the left-hand side and the text of the tab is centered on the width of the tab.
Here is a screenshot of the Windows version of Safari:
You can see how the tab is much smaller for one, but also how the text is justified to the left with the "X" to close the tab appearing on the right side of the tab instead of the left.
I don't really prefer one over the other (ie. left or right side), I just wondered if there's some setting to make them act the same way on both so that I don't have to constantly remember what OS I'm on in order to remember where the darn "X" is to close the tab.

  • In support forum, signed in,where do I link to questions I've asked? Years back, could get RSS feed for question. Still available?

Where can I link to my questions from my account? Searching for username gives no results. Some years back, you could subscribe to an RSS feed for a question, yours or others. Is that gone, if so, why? How do you save the question, without saving the text of your question in a document, and copying and pasting it into search? FF version 19.0.2.
    Thanks.

The My Contributions link only appears if you are looking at a page of questions people have posted. It's a filter that doesn't apply to other pages, so I guess it's bit of a secret.

  • Where can I find the RSS icon in Firefox 4.0?

After upgrading to Firefox 4.0 I become unable to find the RSS icon for pages have RSS links. In Firefox 3.6, the RSS icon was located on the right end of the address bar (near the star). Where is the RSS icon located in Firefox 4.0?
    Thanks.

The RSS button has been removed from the location bar. Instead there is a toolbar button that you can add, for details of how to do that see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+customize+the+toolbar - the RSS button is named "Subscribe" in the customize toolbar window.
The RSS button is greyscale, if you prefer to add an RSS icon to the location bar similar to Firefox 3.6, you can use the RSS Icon extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/rss-icon

  • Where is Mail RSS feeds on Lion 10.8?

Please let me know where to find Mail RSS feeds using Lion 10.8 and Mail 6.0.
    Thank you.

RSS has been completely removed from Mail and Safari in OS X 10.8. There are several third-party RSS readers available; search MacUpdate for "RSS".
BTW, this forum is for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. The OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion forum is here:

  • Where are images from screensaver RSS saved?

    Hi!
I'm using the built-in RSS screensaver (not the RSS visualizer, but the one created by clicking + sign) and added a custom picture RSS-stream. Does anyone know where the picture from the RSS-stream are saved?
    Thank!
    Kungshöjd

If you enjoy this functionality DON'T upgrade to Mountain Lion, that or upgrade to a Windows PC.  The all knowing Apple has removed this functionality because... well they didn't give a reason.  Why would they?  Dictatorship is fun.

  • I updated to Mountain Lion and Mail has lost all my RSS feeds. Where are they?

I updated to Mountain Lion and now Mail has lost all my RSS feeds. What happened and where are they?

-------- "Your RSS data is not lost. You can find it in ~/Library/Mail/V2/RSS folder."
it's just as good as lost, if there is no way to load the info in that folder into a new reader.
i followed that path, ~/Library/Mail/V2/RSS, and I have almost 40 rss feeds. that means
there are nearly 40 folders that I would have to go into, one by one, and extract the pertinent
information, and import, one by one, into a new reader.
this is a problem that Apple created. I would have never used the mail.app as a reader
if I knew Apple was going to do this to us. And it makes you wonder what else Apple is
going to do to screw us loyal customers over. (why would they discontinue a feature, knowing
that it would mean lost data and a headache to their customers?)
does anyone have an automated solution to importing these files into a new reader?

  • Where is the RSS feed or Subscribe button in Safari 6?

Where is the RSS feed or Subscribe button in Safari 6?

Checked out some readers, but I'm more interested in a plugin for Safari 6.  Can you recommend one?  Is there one at this time?
I think the RSS feed was removed in Safari 6.

  • Rss section appears below email accounts. I want it at the top where it used to be

Hello to all.. I had the missfortune to reinstall os 10.7.4. I noticed after doing so my mail sections were out of order.  I had inbox, drafts, sent, trash, on my mac, smart folders, rss, and gmail. Now I ha except it's smart folders, gmail, rss. I tried everything I could think of including removing my gmail and recreating the  account. that worked until I had to trash my PList file. I reopened mail and the rss was at the bottom. I even tried restoring the folders from a older time machine back up and I then tried dragging the rss section back to where it used to be.  with no luck. the darned thing would not budge. if any of has any ideas short of recreating everything I'd love to hear it.
    Thanks.

Thank you so much! Here's to hoping it works!
