Could some body help as to what I doing wrong in here?
    Regards
    Harish

    Hi
Check if you have given the correct Database schema user/password while creating domain for discussions and wiki? The user should be something like PREFIX_Discussions and PREFIX_Wiki.
I have seen problems around using system/sys user being given while creating domain, this may be the case with you as well.

  • WebCenter Suite installation: Content DB configuration Assistant failed

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to install Oracle WebCenter 10.1.3.2.0 on Windows 2003 machine. I had installed a DB 10.2.0.1 to serve for the db for content DB repository.
I chose the Basic Installation type for webcenter suite. The installation is generally successful but the configuration assistant for content DB failed.
In the contentconfig.log file, I see the following error stack.
    *********** Starting AdminManagerAction_CreateInterMediaMedia ***********
    Next task: CreateMediaLOB InterMediaBlob $$mediaClass $$chunkSize $$lobTablespace $$isIndexed
Exception while performing task 'CreateMediaLOB InterMediaBlob $$mediaClass $$chunkSize $$lobTablespace $$isIndexed' ; exception is:

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01659: unable to allocate MINEXTENTS beyond 14 in tablespace CONTENT_IFS_LOB_M
I am stuck with this error. This is the second time I did the complete installation and have got this error.
Can anyone tell what is the cause of the error and what is needed to fix it? Will appreciate any helpful ideas.
    thanks!

I have a similar problem on installation of Webcenter Suite using Basic installation.
I have tried creating the table spaces according to the specifications given in oracle documentation, yet the installer complained about the table spaces not having free space left (specially, the WORK_IFS tables space). I also tried giving spaces on average 15MB more then the suggested space for their datafiles, and it still complained about the table space issue.
When the configuration assistant fails, and you exit out of the Universal Installer, is there any option or way to just rerun the configuration assistant for content db again?
I see on the EM for WebCenter Suite that all the other components seem to install properly and are up and running yet there is no mention of Content DB. Nor there is any option to try to reconfigure it.
    Can someone please help?
    thanks for your cooperation.

  • WebCenter Suite - Installation Recommendations

Does anyone have any good installation recommendations once you have WebCenter Suite?
Our company just bought the product and I can only seem to find documents on how to install each individual product, but no recommendations on how to install or coordinate the suite. Are there recommendations for the whole Suite as to how to install the Suite itself or each individual component and how to coordinate the products to integrated together. I am trying to create a Systems Architecture document describing the necessary infrastructure and installation, so I am trying to best understand the product suite and individual products.
    Thanks - jay

    got the solution.

  • WEBCENTER SUITE INSTALLATION

    Hi,
If we have a standalone weblogic server, do we need to install webcenter suite on our local machines or do u install it on the weblogic server enviroment.

WebCenter Suite is a license name for a suite of products. You do not install the suite, but (some of) products.
These products, like WebCenter Spaces, or Universal Content Management (WebCenter Content) are J2EE applications running on Weblogic application server.
So, yes, you need to install (deploy) them onto Weblogic server environment. The same goes if you create your own portal application using WebCenter Framework.

  • "Oracle Universal Installer" instead of "Oracle Webcenter Suite 10.1.3.2.0"

    Hi,
I've installed HTTP_Server from [Oracle HTTP Server (Apache 2.0) (10.1.3.3.0) for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)|http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/oracle11g/111060_win32soft.html] ; unfortunately, I was unable to control the installation process (select advanced install, password, hostname, port number...), because I got the "Oracle Universal Installer" instead of the "Oracle Webcenter Suite 10.1.3.2.0 Installation" screen, as shown in the installation documentation.
Although I suspect I'll be able to configure via the various configuration files, I've had to install every single component, instead of just the one I need. Has anyone encountered the same problem and know how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Chris.

Actually, my problem is that I was not prompted to choose between basic and advanced; that's in the "Oracle Webcenter Suite 10.1.3.2.0 Installation" screens, as seen in the installation instructions. But the "Oracle Universal Installer" screen that I get when I click setup.exe doesn't give you that choice.
This isn't actually a big deal, because HTTP_Server was still correctly installed, but I had to configure it manually. I'm just trying to figure out why it is that I didn't get the correct installer.
Does anyone know how I can get the "Oracle Webcenter Suite 10.1.3.2.0 Installation" application instead of the "Oracle Universal Installer"?

I want to do a clean install of Windows 7 Pro on my computer and my installation of Adobe Design Premium CS3 is not functioning. I cannot start it to get in and deactivate the Creative Suite installation.

if you're using the same computer hardware to reinstall your cs3, you don't need to deactivate first.

  • WebCenter Suite Plus License

    Hi All,
Can someone let me know if WebCenter Suite Plus license include WebCEnter Capture & WebCenter Forms Recognition, or should they be purchased separately.
    Thanks,
    - Anand

    Hi there Anand,
according to the licensing guide of FMW 11.1.1.8 -
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/doc.1111/e14860/webcenter.htm#FMWLC212
    Oracle WebCenter Suite Plus includes:
    WebCenter Content
    WebCenter Portal
    WebCenter Sites
    Management Pack for WebCenter
meaning that both Capture and FR are NOT in the license set and have to
    be licensed separately.
    Hope this helps,
    Anatoli
