Webclient UI login

Hi Experts
We are facing problem in logging into WebClient UI. The actual
problem is that we are unable to get the framework when we click our
profile. The display is blank. We have already maintained PFCG roles,
Authorization roles, Business roles needed for the BSP application to
load.
The following Step are already configured
1.)Set up a favourite as WebClient UI in BSP Application, in SAP GUI.
2. Perform the configuratons of various roles required for WebClient UI
in SAP GUI.
3. Double click on the favourite Webclient UI, which navigates to the
logon pad in an IE screen.
4. Give the logon details and select a profile according to the
Business role.
5. This should load the framework dynamically, but the screen is blank.

I am facing a problem with WebClient UI. Once i login I select a Business role and either I get a blank screen or the following error:

RE: Webclient UI login screen showing mutliple profiles

Hi all,
i am working on CRM Security and i have a issue with the user login.
i assigned user to a marketing manager profile in PPOMA_CRM in 2 differnt places (for ex north 1000 and south 2000)
when user was logging in to Webclient UI, it was showing him 2 profiles north 1000 and south 2000 , asking him to select one profile for logging in. once user was in north and want to view south he has to logout and login back.
i already restrcited user from ABAP side only to view north and south, but the only problem here is user doesn't want the options while loggin in. he wants to go in directly and there based on the ABAP authorizations it should restrict the user.
what is the wrong i am doing and how can i correct this.

you are correct, thanks for replying. user was assigned to 2 positions in a company. is there anyway we can prevent the selection of profiles (positions) at the time of login. they want to just login with out any selection and after going in it should restrict through PFCG roles.
my plan is the below one.
create 2 business roles and assign only one of them to position. now in PPOMA_CRM i want to assign every user to one position that is connected to businesss role.
i will assign the user to another position as well which is not connected to business role. i think this way every user can login with the same position where business role is connected and after logging based on the authorizations of the PFCG role ABAP side it will restrict the user.
Let me know if this will work.

Why call between WebClient agents fails?

Hi,
I have just recently installed the mySAP CRM 4.0 IC WebClient (CRM40 SP00).
I have been testing the installation with CCS (Contact Center Simulator) and for a basic CCS supported tests (Inbound Phone call, Outbound Phone call, Chat) everything seems to be ok, but a call between WebClient agents fails due to an java error. The Phone Call between WebClients which should work according the CCS webpage.
What should I do to get WebClient agents to call each others? Any configuration or customization tips? Note that I do not have CC integration in place, just the IC WebClients.
Here is the test done in details and the error reported by WebClient:
0) I restarted SAP CRM to be sure no pending sessions exists
1) Open the CCS to see that no agents are logged in with WebClient
2) Login as java_ic with WebClient
3) CCS shows java_ic Workmode (=status) as 'Not Ready'
4) Switch java_ic to ready by from the WebClient
5) CCS shows java_ic Workmode (=status) as 'Ready'
Then I do the same for agent 'sap*' with another MSIE browser window. At this point, the CCS shows Workmode for both agents as 'Ready' and I have two WebClient browsers opened. I also verify that both has Phone selected from the channel selector in the WebClient.
6) With java_ic agent, I press the Dial Pad, enter the sap* agent phone
number (Phone: +15550002; shown in the CCS for both agents logged in) and then I press the Dial button on Dial Pad to call to +15550002.
6.1) After pressing the Dial button, the WebClient displays a pop-up in
the middle of the screen with info: "Your request is being processed." After this there is an Info message under the buttons in the WebClient for java_ic saying: "No account information found".
7) Java_ic WebClient shows that it's doing an outbound call and is 'Dialing' state.
8) sap* WebClient window has blinking button with labels 'Accept' and 'Reject'. So, it clearly got an notification of the Inbound Phone call coming from java_ic. But there is also an error message under the buttons in the same WebClient webbrowser screen (not in the JavaConsole, not in separate alert message this time) for sap*:
"Java error: type= APPLICATION ERROR, ID= GETIAD_FAILED, description=".
9) With sap* WebClient I cannot answer or reject the call. Nothing happens. The browser Status Bar says: javascript:void(0) when I press the Accept button.
10) At this situation, the CCS shows that the agents's sap* Workmode is
switched from the previous 'Ready' state to 'Not Ready' automatically (while the sap* WebClient status is still in Ready). So, the sap* automatically, due to the error, changed the status to 'Not Ready'.
11) java_ic remain on 'Dialing' status for all the time trying to get connected with sap*.
I got informed that the call between WebClient COULD BE seen as a "call transfer" between clients by the CRM system. This might be something to do with the problem in calling between WebClients.
Because the java_ic reports: "No account information found" when placing the Outbound Phone call, one could assume that account details should be passed along with the call transfer. Possibly sap* cannot receive the
inbound phone call due to a missing account information thus reporting java error: "Java error: type= APPLICATION ERROR, ID= GETIAD_FAILED, description=".

Your machine is slow because you loaded a bunch of third party junk on it.

CRM WEBClient UI -The same screen-menu appears for different Business Roles

Hi Experts,
We are working with CRM 2007 and are facing the following problem:
After starting the CRM WEBClient , a screen with two Business Roles appears: u2018SALESPROu2019 and u2018SERVICE PROu2019 (because in my User I have added the roles: SAP_CRM_UIU_SRV_PROFESSIONAL & SAP_CRM_UIU_SLS_PROFESSIONAL).
I select the one of the two roles (e.g. SALESPRO) and then I choose u2018backu2019 and select the other Role (SERVICEPRO) but the same screen appears with the menu from SERVICEPRO .
I noticed that the menu that appears has to do with which business role I select first.
Do you have any ideas what could be the problem?

Hi Roula,
In CRM 2007, the CRM Webclient doesn't have the capability to switch from one business role to another directly as you are trying to do. The only option to switch is to logoff from Webclient and login in another role.

What can I do about http status 500 error report?

I have Windows and want to log in to a bank website. I click the Log In button and get this message:
"Http status 500" and that "The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request." and "Path webClient.passmark.login does not start with a "/" character" and "he full stack trace of the root cause is available in the Apache Tomcat/5.5.23 logs."
I have tried the "secure Connection failed" troubleshooting without luck. What can I do?

Bi Dashboards issue works properly some times and after not display pointers data and give un expected error and throw login window

I have toff situation where we deployed bi dashboards in our site and it works some time and some times not,
and some times it keep loading and throw a login window.
works when
we restart performance point service and if not work
we re create secure store service and generated new key and create new pps service application
before that we stopped secure store and pps service using c.a in application server
we are using ssas for datasource to connect from dashboard designer
we have seperate server for ssas dbs
seperate application server running: pps service and secure store service
two web front ends: one of running secure store
1 Domain controller + central admin service running
some times after 4 -5 hours bi dashboards works , we dashboards not display data and throw un expected errors,
also when we try to connect using a dashboard designer from a seperate client machine in same domain ,we have same issue , we unable to connect to ssas datasource server, and if connect some times unable to deploy dashboards.
we tried every thin icreased server time out values in ssas server

SSO to IC WebClient

Dear All,
                 I am using CRM 5.0 and NW 2004s. I have configured Single Sign-On for this also. but when i am accessig the IC WebClient it ask me for login window. Other than IC WebClient other applications of CRM are working fine. So is some special settings needs to be configure for SSO to IC WebClient?
                 Kindly help. Its *URGENT*.

How to change default page in webclient

Hi,
For business role Ic_agent, the default page is identify account when you login. I wanna change the default page to interaction record.How to configure? Thanks!

Hi Robert
1. check which is the Navigation bar assigned to the profile assigned to Agent.
2.. follow path : Customer Relationship Management  Interaction Center WebClient Basic Functions Define Navigation Bar Profiles, look for the navigation assigned to your profile.
3. selecting your Navigation bar profile from Define Profiles and goto Assign Entries to Profiles, here you have Navigation Bar ID and Tittle. Against each of the navigation bar id a position has been assigned.
4. The lowest position assigned to Navigation bar Id will be set as default.
In your profile lowest position has been assigned to Identify Account, you assign even lower position to whichever ID you want to assign as default.

Getting error type RABAX_STATE in CRM 2007 Webclient

We have installed CRM 2007 and upgraded the patchlevel of BBPCRM to SP2. After the patch upgrade we are getting type RABAX_STATE error after we log in through Webclient. We get no errors while logging through SAP GUI. Before the upgradation we were successfully able to login through Webclient. The details of error screen is as follows:

The URL http://coevhpa4.coekc.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_frame/BSPWDApplication.do was not called due to an error.
Note
The following error text was processed in the system CR7 : Syntax error in program CL_BSP_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_TREE===CP .
The error occurred on the application server coevhpa4_CR7_00 and in the work process 2 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
The ABAP call stack was:
Method: IF_BSP_ELEMENT~RUNTIME_IS_VALID of program CL_THTMLB_CELLERATOR==========CP

What can I do?
If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system CR7 in transaction ST22.
If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server coevhpa4_CR7_00 in transaction SM21.
If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 2 in transaction ST11 on the application server coevhpa4_CR7_00 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

IC Webclient color setting

We are going to implement IC Webclient and our Agents will each have 2 logins - one for incoming Emails and one for incoming phone calls since SAP with Genesys routing does not allow for two open interactions at the same time. The users would like a visual cue so they know which instance they are working in but since this is a web GUI, I can't find a way to change the overall color. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how? Thank you for your consideration.

I don't want to disappoint you, but versions before 2006s (even there it is still in development phase) and as of CRM2007 it's standard, are impossible to change the stylesheets.
I give you an example why it is impossible:
This is for example an extract from the IndexListView.htm page (BSP application IC_BASE crm version 5.0):

As you can see they have hard-coded (beginners mistakes ) styles in their pages.
As of version 2006S and 2007 there is a report that can be used to create skins for the new webui.
There is already a report in 2006s which is still in development that can be executed to see the future worktool for skins. In 2006s in TX se38 search for Zskins You will find something...

Schedule Report to WEBDAV location. Problem with webclient service

I am having difficulties scheduling a report to a webdav location (Which is sharepoint).
It had been working for about two weeks.
My BO environment and the sharepoint location are on two different domains.
I have been running webclient service in windows under the localservice account.
My web intelligence job server runs under the domain account which has rights to publish on that sharepoint location.
When scheduling (on purpose) with a bad username and password my XIR2 says: "login error. CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. "
When scheduling with the correct username and passwordt I get the message: "destination file error. CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged: Access is denied. "
When I directly enter the location and write a file manually I am firstly prompted to login, after that I have write access to this folder. Everything works fine.
The webclient service is running on the windows server 2003 machine. (or else it would not be possible to open the webdav location manually. )
How is It possible that when BOXI R2 is writing a certain pdf to this location I get Access is denied when manually it is working fine?
I have been looking for an answer for about 2 months now. Please help me!

Did you ever get this working? I am having the exact same error. I am able to explore/Map/Browse to a WebDAV location (Sharepoint) using the UNC path and it might prompt for the UN and PW the first time and would just let me access the location fine from the XIR2 server. It would also let me create a file in the UNC location.
Just like you mentioned, providing an incorrect password would clearly say "login error. CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. " Where as providing a correct password would say "destination file error. CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged: Access is denied. ". I am going nuts over this and would really appreciate if you can share your findings... There does not seem to be any solutions out there in the internet also. Appreciate your help.

CCS and IC WebClient interaction? doesn't work

I can login into IC WebClient and CCS successfully, but when i check the Agent status in CCS, it give me msg 'Currently no agents are logged on to CCS '. So i can't simulate telephony. Does anybody know what's the reason and which additional settings i need make.
below is one step in the configuration guide:
3. In the IC WebClient, log with your CRM system user and ensure that the telephony channel is selected (icon Phone Channel selector), so that the agent can receive inbound phone calls. Select work mode Ready using the radio button.
I can select the channel in the IC page, but i don't see the work mode radio buttons.

I was trying to use CCS but when I check the Agent status in CCS, it give me the message 'Currently no agents are logged on to CCS '. My JRE version is 1.4.2_11. In the IC WebClient, I can select the channel but there is no work mode radio buttons.

Solved. It is the client JRE runtime version issue, downgrade the JRE from 1.5.0_5 to 1.4.2_11, then the agent mode radio buttons appear.

CRM 2007 - WebClient UI: Empty page is coming

Hi,
For Webclient UI, i did the configuration as mentioned in the document "C04_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_DE[1].doc".
When i run the application, i am getting an empty page.
In fact if i use technical profile "DEFAULT_IC" for my business role i am getting IC Webclient application. If i use the "DEFAULT" technical profile i am getting empty page.
What can be the problem?
